Abstract

Tulisan dengan judul “Desain Produk dan motif sulaman benang emas dan perak untuk lenan rumah tangga” ini tujuannya adalah untuk meningkatkan produk sulaman benang emas & perak yang dihasilkan oleh perajin sulam yang ada di Koto Baru Kabupaten Agam Sumatera Barat. Sulaman benang emas & perak ini biasanya digunakan untuk perlengkapan upacara adat seperti pelaminan, selendang pengantin wanita dan pengiring pengantin atau sumandan, tutup tudung saji dan kampia, saat ini telah dilakukan pengembangan dengan cara membuat desain kreatif dan inovatif dalam bentuk produk lenan rumah tangga berupa sarung bantal kursi, alas meja, dan hiasan dinding dengan menempatkan motif Minangkabau dan motif kreasi perajin dan peneliti. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode eksperimen. Dengan cara eksplorasi dan perancangan. Berdasarkan hasil eksplorasi dan rancangan telah dapat menghasilkan desain motif yang baru yang ditempatkan pada produk sulaman benang emas & perak yaitu produk perlengkapan lenan rumah tangga berupa sarung bantal kursi, alas meja dan hiasan dinding.

Abstract

History says that design is actually rooted in artistic activities that have grown towards one sphere of culture in its essence to another: the means of everyday human life. When historical descriptions state that the primitive people make cangulals as a tool that is a transformation of the extension of the hand: often questions about design, art or technology. Design is challenged to have to engage in a variety of cultural weather.  As with technology, design is required to immediately formulate the situation in line with the development of other cultural sectors. The construction of the Bauhus in Germany, with the prophecy of Walter Gropius, is considered a milestone in the development of modern design history. The basic philosophy of the Bauhaus departs from the idea that the methods of industrial production of the 19th century have led to the disregard of the relationship between the process of design and handicraft or the ability of the hand, the unity between the creator and the product is broken. In fact, the influence, the Bauhaus principles that later evolved into an International style, were not the product of experiments produced by the instructors (Meister) and his students, but the methodology of visual arts education and the design methodology that he taught. The fundamental role of a designer will never change, but what will change is his commercial situation. Abstract

In the management of hospitals, Corporate Identity plays a pivotal role in brand recognition, image formation, and public perception. The primary objective behind the establishment of the hospital's Corporate Identity is to facilitate the audience's ability to remember and trust the institution as a professional and highly competent healthcare service provider, thereby fostering loyalty among the target audience.The main challenge faced by RSUD Bukittinggi is the absence of a clear corporate identity, serving as a reminder to the community and patients regarding the positive image and unique characteristics of RSUD Bukittinggi. Furthermore, this corporate identity also serves as a distinguishing factor for RSUD Bukittinggi from other healthcare facilities.In light of this, RSUD Bukittinggi requires innovative ideas in constructing a Corporate Identity that can effectively present the image, unique characteristics, and excellence possessed by RSUD Bukittinggi. The existence of RSUD Bukittinggi as a hospital offering medical tourism services in the city of Bukittinggi demands a corporate identity befitting its distinguished position.As a comprehensive solution to address this issue, a step taken is to design a corporate identity strategy for RSUD Bukittinggi utilizing the SWOT analysis method. This strategic approach can yield results that are congruent and highly effective in conveying the identity and distinctive characteristics of this institution. Components of this comprehensive corporate identity strategy include logo creation, typography selection, determination of identity colors, and utilization of various communication channels, all meticulously designed to facilitate the audience in identifying the unique characteristics and excellence of RSUD Bukittinggi.Keywords: Corporate identity, RSUD Bukittinggi

Abstract

Abstract This research is a normative legal research that aims to analyze the relationship between the criminal act of plagiarism and product design in terms of human rights aspects. The results of this study are that the crime of plagiarism against product design is an act that is contrary to Law number 39 of 1999 concerning human rights. The act of appropriating a design by another person without the owner's permission is an act of usurping the right to human welfare. Therefore, this research was carried out so that product designers realize that plagiarism on the designs they produce is a deprivation of the right to welfare that they must have.Keywords: Plagiarism, product design, human rights

Abstract

The research entitled "Design Motifs and Craft Products from Wood Waste in Souvenir Products" aims to utilize wood waste in the form of sawdust obtained during the process of carving and making products. The method used is experimental, the research procedure carried out is by means of exploration and design. Exploration aims to find ideas or concepts through data mining and literature studies, observations and interviews. The data that has been collected is processed and analyzed qualitatively then presented verbally, later becoming the basis for conducting design experiments. Design is the embodiment of ideas and concepts resulting from exploration into souvenir product designs. In studying product development and techniques, we use design strategy studies consisting of design strategies and innovation strategies proposed by Agus Sachari, and other theories consisting of the appeal of beauty. product, materials used, tools used, manufacturing techniques and product authenticity. Keywords: Wood waste, products, crafts.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic, which forced people to stay at home, has sparked a new culture of gardening in home yards with organic vegetables. As the pandemic continues, we have plenty of free time to stay at home. To relieve boredom, one alternative we can do to make use of this free time is by optimizing our home yards as a source of family food supply. Thus, even though outside activities are still limited, the nutritional needs of the family are still met. Consuming vegetables from our own garden is relatively safer and simultaneously provides a solution for household-scale food fulfillment, which is cost-effective and easy to implement. According to Minister of Agriculture Syahrul from the BKP of Agriculture, gardening activities are one of the strategies in maintaining food security, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic and in facing the dry season. Minister Syahrul has even urged local government leaders to encourage the use of home yards as a source of family food supply, because national food security starts from family food security. The creation of Mini Portable Aquaponics. Aquaponics is an alternative method of growing plants and raising fish within the same container. It is a process where plants utilize nutrients derived from fish waste, which if left in the pond would become toxic to the fish. The plants then function as a vegetation filter that breaks down these toxic substances into harmless substances for the fish, and supplies oxygen to the water used to sustain the fish. With this cycle, a mutually beneficial cycle occurs and for those of us implementing it, it is certainly very advantageous, as the land used is not too extensive.

Abstract

Program pemberdayaan masyarakat sekitar objek wisata Tanjung Mutiara Nagari Batu Taba, Kabupaten Tanah Datar Sumatera Barat berupa pelatihan ecoprint pada media tas kain dalam upaya mendukung ekonomi kreatif dengan memanfaatkan sumber daya alam yang ada disekitar masyarakat. Peserta merupakan masyarakat  yang ada di Nagari Batu Taba khususnya sekitar objek wisata Tanjung Mutiara. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk memberi pengetahuan dan keterampilan masyarakat tentang nilai economi berupa kain ecoprint dimana hasilnya nanti dapat dijual dan bernilai seni tinggi. Selain itu dengan adanya pelatihan ini menjadi wadah pembelajaran akan ketersediaan sumber daya alam yang dapat dimanfaatkan dan disisi lain berpelungan bisnis bagi masyarakat Nagari Batu Taba tersebut. Pelatihan ini menagajarkan tentang  ecoprint dengan menggunakan teknik pounding. Hasil dari kegiatan pelatihan ini diharapkan agar peserta mampu mengembangkan produk ecoprint dengan memanfaatkan sumber daya alam dan kebudayaan yang ada tersebut.

Abstract

Sulaman Minangkabau mempunyai ciri dan watak sendiri, yang membedakannya dengan sulaman atau kerajinan dari daerah lainnya di Indonesia. Salah satu ciri khas yang unik pada sulaman Minangkabau adalah ragam hias yang bertemakan flora yang terdapat dalam seni kerajinan sulam daerah Koto Gadang. Pembuatan motif tradisional Minangkabau dilakukan dengan cara memberi kesempatan bagi para perajin untuk mengaplikasikan atau menerapkan motif Minangkabau yang telah diberikan sesuai dengan bentuk produk sulaman yang mereka hasilkan terutama bentuk produk pakai. Desain motif diaplikasikan untuk tas mukena dan sajadah. Peserta pelatihan terdiri dari anak-anak remaja laki- laki dan perempuan serta ibu-ibu rumah tangga yang juga merupakan perajin sulam yang ada di Koto Gadang. Berdasarkan permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh perajin di Koto Gadang selaku mitra maka tim pengabdian akan melakukan pengembangan  motif dan produk yang lebih kreatif dan inovatif. Penjualan produk dengan menggunakan media social harus mampu menarik pembeli dengan memberikan informasi-informasi terkait dengan produk-produk yang ditawarkan kepada masyarakat. Hasil desain motif ini diaplikasikan kedalam sebuah produk secara prototype yaitu tas untuk mukena dan sajadah. Hal ini pengembangan desain motif untuk Koto Gadang memberikan nilai jual ke dalam sebuah produk pakai dan produk ini dapat menjadi keuanggulan produk local khususnya daerah Koto Gadang.

Abstract

AbstrakMinuman tradisional aia aka yang merupakan minuman khas Sumatera Barat mengalami penurunan peminat akhir-akhir ini. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan berkurangnya penjual minuman tradisional aia aka di Sumatera Barat. Aia Aka Amai adalah salah satu pedagang minuman tradisional aia aka yang bertahan hingga sekarang. Namun keberadaan Aia Aka Amai tetap kalah jika dibandingkan dengan minuman lainnya seperti kopi, thai tea, boba dan minuman kekinian lainnya. Melihat masalah tersebut, perancang menemukan rumusan masalah yaitu bagaimana merancang media promosi Aia Aka Amai di Kota Padang. Metode yang digunakan dalam media promosi Aia Aka Amai ini adalah S.W.O.T dan A.I.D.A. Selanjutnya penulis melakukan brainstorming untuk menentukan konsep yang tepat untuk perancangan media promosi Aia Aka Amai. Konsep yang digunakan adalah muda, natural, dan tradisional. Pada perancangan ini, media yang dihasilkan adalah media utama berupa bauran media, dan media pendukung. Media utama terdiri dari logo, kemasan, video promosi, dan konten sosial media. ABSTRACTThe traditional drink, aia aka, which is a typical drink of West Sumatra, has decreased in demand lately. This is evidenced by the decrease in sales of traditional aia aka drinks in West Sumatra. Aia Aka Amai is one of the traditional aia aka beverage vendors, that have survived to this day. However, the existence of Aia Aka Amai is still inferior when compared to other drinks such as coffee, thai tea, boba, and other contemporary drinks. Seeing this problem, the designer found a solution, namely how to design Aia Aka Amai promotional media in Padang City. The methods used in Aia Aka Amai's promotional media are S.W.O.T and A.I.D.A. Next, the writer brainstormed to determine the right concept for designing Aia Aka Amai promotional media. The concept used is young, natural, and traditional. In this design, the resulting media is the main media in the form of a media mix and supporting media. The main media consists of logos, packaging, promotional videos, and social media content.

Abstract

ABSTRAKPerancangan city branding ini digunakan untuk membangun citra baru Kota Sungai Penuh dan mempromosikan Kota Sungai Penuh, sehingga memberikan suatu gambaran pikiran, perasaan, asosiasi dan ekspetasi yang datang dari benak seseorang ketika seseorang tersebut melihat atau mendengar nama atau kata Sungai Penuh. Dengan perancangan city branding Kota Sungai Penuh ini diharapkan terciptanya suatu identitas yang sangat lekat dengan kota Sungai Penuh sehingga memberikan perasaan bangga terhadap masyarakat yang tinggal di Sungai Penuh, meningkatkan perekonomian masyarakat, dan dapat membedakan Sungai Penuh dengan kota lainnya. Dengan menggunakan metode analisis s.w.o.t maka didapatkanlah citra yang relevan dengan Kota Sungai Penuh, yaitu Kota dengan sebutan Sekepal Tanah Surga, yang mana dapat mengingatkan target audience akan Kota Sungai Penuh apabila mendengar kata tersebut.ABSTRACTThe design of this city's branding is used to build a new image of Sungai Penuh City and promote Sungai Penuh City, thereby providing a picture of the thoughts, feelings, associations, and expectations that come to one's mind when that person sees or hears the name or word "Sungai Penuh." By designing the city branding of Sungai Penuh City, it is hoped that it will create an identity that is very closely related to the city of Sungai Penuh so as to give a feeling of pride to the people who live in Sungai Penuh, improve the community's economy, and distinguish Sungai Penuh from other cities. By using the s.w.o.t analysis method, we get an image that is relevant to Sungai Penuh City, namely the city called Sekepal Tanah Heaven, which can remind the target audience of Sungai Penuh City when they hear the word.
