Abstract

Latar Belakang: Terdapat 11.959 kasus tuberculosis (TB) paru di Bandung. Gaya hidup, daerah perkotaan dan kumuh yang padat, dan kesehatan lingkungan yang buruk semuanya berkontribusi terhadap tingginya kasus TB paru perkotaan. Peningkatan ini diduga disebabkan oleh lingkungan fisik rumah yang banyak belum memenuhi syarat. Tujuan: Penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat hubungan lingkungan fisik rumah dengan kejadian TB paru. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan desain Cross Sectional. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah terduga TB. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 98 responden diambil menggunakan simple random sampling. Kriteria inklusi sampel penelitian adalah pasien suspek TB paru, dan berusia 18–65 tahun. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah termo higrometer dan lux meter. Analisis data menggunakan Uji Chi Square. Hasil: Variabel yang berhubungan adalah suhu (p=0,004, dan POR=4.667), kelembapan (p=0,031, dan POR=2.733), dan pencahayaan (p=0,012, dan POR=3.385). Kesimpulan: Faktor-faktor yang meningkatkan angka kejadian TB paru antara lain kondisi fisik rumah yang tidak memenuhi syarat seperti suhu ruangan diatas 30%, ruangan terlalu lembap (dibawah 40%) dan kurangnya pencahayaan diruangan (<60 lux). Lingkungan fisik rumah yang berhubungan dengan kejadian TB paru adalah suhu, kelembapan dan pencahayaan.

Abstract

This study was motivated by the fact that many students remain passive in the learning process and struggle to understand the topic “Daerahku Kebanggaanku,” resulting in suboptimal learning outcomes. The purpose of this research was to determine the effect of implementing a STEAM-integrated Project Based Learning (PjBL) model on improving students’ learning activities and outcomes in IPAS. The STEAM-integrated Project Based Learning model is a project-based instructional approach that can develop essential 21st-century skills, such as communication, teamwork, analytical thinking, and creativity. During the project process, students learn to collaborate, express ideas, and solve problems collectively. This approach not only prepares students for academic success but also equips them to become adaptive and innovative individuals in facing future challenges. This research employed a quantitative approach using a quasi-experimental design, with the research subjects being students of class VA at SDN Sukun 1 Malang City. The instruments used included learning outcome evaluation tests, learning activity questionnaires, and observation sheets. Data analysis was conducted using the paired-samples t-test in SPSS 26.00. The results of the study indicated a significant improvement in students’ learning activities and outcomes after the implementation of the STEAM-integrated Project Based Learning model. These findings demonstrate that the STEAM-integrated Project Based Learning model is effective for use in IPAS learning to enhance students’ learning activities and outcomes. The results of this study are expected to serve as a reference for teachers in implementing project-based learning models and to contribute to the development of contextual and engaging IPAS instruction.

Abstract

Globalization and modernization have caused an identity crisis among the younger generation. This brings a strong influence of foreign cultures, causing local values, lifestyles, and cultural orientations to shift gradually. Education plays a crucial role in reinstilling a sense of cultural identity. The purpose of this study is to analyze the process of integrating Butonese cultural values through the use of Wolio in social studies learning and the impact of this integration on the cultural identity awareness of ninth-grade students at SMP Negeri 2 Baubau, Southeast Sulawesi. The research approach uses a qualitative research type with a case study design. Data collection methods include observation, interviews, and documentation. The research subjects include ninth-grade students and social studies teachers at SMP Negeri 2 Baubau. Sampling was carried out using purposive sampling and snowball sampling techniques. Data analysis includes data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study indicate that the integration of Butonese cultural values into social studies learning is effective through various strategies such as folktales and proverbs. This confirms that the integration of Butonese cultural values through Wolio language in learning plays an important role as a learning medium that supports the installation of students' cultural identity awareness.
