Abstract

As the world's population increases, the need for a mode of transportation will increase, and the amount of transportation currently has positive and negative impacts. The positive impact is to help mobilize goods, people, and services. Negative impacts are traffic jams, air pollution, and accidents. This study aims to determine the relationship between land transportation and GDP Regional in the construction sector in Indonesia. The findings in this study indicate that (1) The relationship between GDP Regional for Construction and the length of State/National roads according to paved road surface has a deficient correlation level with a correlation interval value (0.105) with a Sig value (0.559 0.05). (2) The relationship between GDP Regional of construction and the length of provincial roads according to asphalt surface has a moderate relationship with a correlation interval value (0.527) with a Sig value (0.002 0.05), GDP Regional construction with a length of provincial roads according to gravel surface has a deficient relationship level with a correlation interval value (-0.271) with a Sig value (0.127 0.05).

Abstract

The unsignalized intersection which is located in Cileungsi District, precisely on Jalan Cileungsi Setu and Jalan Raya Narogong, is a commercial area with dense economic activity and densely populated settlements. As a result of the dense activity, congestion occurs due to the large number of vehicles passing the road, especially during peak hours, namely the morning and evening. Seeing this problem, an analysis is needed that aims to determine the volume, performance of roads, and unmarked intersections as measured by capacity, degree of saturation, and level of service.  In analyzing this study using the Indonesian Road Capacity Manual (MKJI) 1997 method which will determine the performance of roads and intersections without signs. The data needed in this research are primary data in the form of geometric road data, traffic volume, vehicle speed data, and side friction. As well as secondary data in the form of location maps, land use, and population data. From the results of data analysis and processing, the busiest traffic flow at the intersection occurred on Sunday, November 15, 2020 at 17.30 - 18.30 WIB, the saturation degree value was 1.17 with LOS F. By doing an alternative solution, the saturation degree value was 0.68 and LOS B with placing signs are prohibited from stopping around intersections, and prohibiting the flow of traffic turning right either from the main road D to the Minor C road or from the Minor C road to the main road B. On Jalan Raya Narogong, the degree of saturation is 0.74 LOS C service, this shows that the road sections do not exceed the figure required by MKJI 1997, namely ≤ 0.75.

Abstract

Sea transportation is also very much needed in the processing industry for ships and passengers and the flow of goods. Suppose the incoming ship can be seen as a sender of goods or the processing industry itself. This is supported very well by the cargo and costs for sea transportation, with much cargo at a relatively low cost. Analyzing the relationship of foreign sea transportation with the regional GDP of the processing industry sector. From ship visits consisting of total and units to passenger visits consisting of passenger arrivals and departure, for variable analysis using correlation and hypothesis testing. The results of overseas sea transportation with the GDP Regional the processing industry are for the correlation results of ship visits from units (0.613) with a strong and total correlation (0.596) with a moderate correlation, for passenger arrivals (0.262) and passenger departures (0.280) both have a low correlation relationship, for the unloading flow of goods (0.607) has a strong correlation. So the visits of foreign sea transportation ships with the GDP Regional of the processing industry sector have a significant relationship of (0.00) from the unit or total ships; for passenger visits, both do not have a substantial relationship for passenger arrivals (0.141) and passenger departures (0.115). The flow of unloading of goods has a significant relationship of (0.00). The greater the number of ship visits and the flow of unloading of goods, the higher the GDP Regional of the Processing Industry Sector, but the increasing number of passenger visits has no relation to the GDP Regional of the Processing Industry Sector.
