Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of interest rate, Gross Domestid Product (GDP) per capita, exchange rate Rupiah to U.S.$, net export, tax rate, tax incentives (tax allowances), and ease of service and licensing to FDI in Indonesia during the period 1985-2011. The analysis model used in this study is a multiple regression model of time series data so will know the factors affecting FDI in Indonesia during the period 1985-2011. The result shows that variable interest rate, GDP per capita, exchange rate Rupiah to U.S.$, tax rate, tax incentives (tax allowances), and ease of service and licensing have a significant effect on the entry of FDI in Indonesia, but the net export variable have not a significant effect on the entry FDI.

Abstract

Abstract

Roundabouts with traffic signals at the Kadipaten intersection are one of the centers of activity in this area, with traditional markets, shops, and terminals. The rapid development in this area has caused the traffic volume at the intersection to increase, resulting in various traffic problems, including congestion and chaos. The Traffic Signaling Tool's function has yet to provide a solution to congestion and chaos, especially during rush hour. Especially with the roundabout in the middle of the intersection, which adds to the obstacle. The research method is a qualitative method, which is carried out directly or through surveys in the field that refer to IHCM 1997. This research aims to analyze the performance of traffic that occurs at the signalized roundabouts at the Kadipaten intersection. The study results show that the Duchy intersection's performance is less than optimal when using roundabouts. Interchange performance will be more optimal if the roundabout is eliminated. The decrease in intersection performance is indicated by the higher degree of saturation (DS) and delay (DT). Degree saturation at the Duchy of Interchange is currently 1.54, with the highest delay time reaching 392 seconds.

Abstract

Jadi Ngopi adalah kedai kopi bersekala kecil di Semarang yang ingin mengembangkan usahanya sehingga dibutuhkan sebuah citra baru untuk menonjolkan identitas mereka kepada calon konsumen. Momen ini dijadikan untuk melakukan Redesain pada brand Jadi Ngopi yang mencakup logo, desain kemasan produk, dan elemen visual pendukung lainnya. Pendekatan kualitatif digunakan dalam perancangan untuk mengumpulkan data melalui wawancara, observasi, studi pustaka, dan dokumentasi dengan analisis data 5W+1H serta menggunakan metode perancangan 5 Phase of Design Graphic Process. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa upaya Redesain Brand Identity kedai Jadi Ngopi ini untuk mencerminkan karakter dan ciri khas Jadi Ngopi dengan tujuan meningkatkan Brand Awareness melalui perancangan logo sesuai GSM (Graphic Standard Manual) yang konsisten, serta pengaplikasian desain pada cup, kemasan, stiker, dan merchandise.

Abstract

AbstrakPelabuhan Tanjung Mas Semarang merupakan pelabuhan yang terbesar di Jawa Tengah dan menjadi pusat segala kegiatan ekonomi seperti impor dan ekspor barang dari dalam dan luar neger. Selain berbagai macam perusahaan berada di situ, pelabuhan Tanjung Mas juga menyediakan berbagai macam fasilitas untuk bisnis niaga seperti gudang peti kemas, alat-alat bongkar muat, kapal tandu. Aktifitas buruh yang kompleks itulah yang disajikan dalam karya-karya foto Semarang City by the Sea, fotografi esai nantinya akan menghadirkan dinamika buruh pelabuhan bersama dengan liku-liku yang dihadapinya setiap hari seperti pekerjaan bongkar muat, saat istirahat, saat berkumpul dengan rekan-rekan sesama buruh, rob, dan lain-lain. Berbagai macam fenomena tersebut akan direkam dalam sebuah Karya essai fotografi dengan metode EDFAT yang merupakan metode dasar dalam pengkaryaan fotografi jurnalistik.Kata kunci : Fotografi Esai, Tanjung Mas Semarang, EDFAT AbstractThe Port of Tanjung Mas Semarang is the largest port in Central Java and the center of all economic activities such as import and export of goods from within and abroad, Various companies are located there, the port of Tanjung Mas also provides various facilities for commercial business such as container warehouses, loading and unloading equipment, and ships. The complex worker activity that is presented in the photographs of Semarang City by the Sea. Abstract

Abstrak Seni grafis teknik cukil dikenal sebagai teknik cetak yang paling populer untuk berkreasi dalam menghasilkan karya-karya seni grafis. Ada beberapa bahan yang dapat digunakan untuk dijadikan sebagai acuan cetak dalam teknik cetak cukil ini diantaranya potongan kayu, karet, dan logam. Akan tetapi bahan-bahan tersebut sudah terlalu umum digunakan di kalangan seniman cukil. Dalam penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan alternatif bahan yang baru untuk acuan cetak teknik cukil sebagai bentuk kreatifitas dalam eksplorasi bahan dan media seni. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan penciptaan seni Hawkins yang terdiri dari tahap Eksplorasi, Improvisasi, dan Pembentukan. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah penggunaan bahan karet sol sepatu menjadi pilihan bahan baru yang memiliki beberapa keunggulan dibandingkan bahan-bahan yang lain diantaranya: bahan mudah didapatkan di pasaran, harganya murah, dapat menghasilkan detail gambar yang baik, dan juga mudah diaplikasikan pada media. Hasil penelitian ini dapat dimanfaatkan oleh para seniman grafis dan masyarakat yang tertarik pada bidang seni grafis. Kata Kunci: cetak, cukil, grafis, karet, sol sepatu AbstractPrintmaking is known as the most popular printing technique for being creative in producing works of graphic art. There are several materials that can be used as a printing reference in this cukil printing technique, including pieces of wood, rubber, and metal. However, these materials are too commonly used among artisans. In this study, the aim of this study was to obtain new alternative materials for the printing reference of the cukil technique as a form of creativity in the exploration of materials and art media. The method used in this study is a qualitative method with an art creation approach consisting of stages of exploration, design, and realization of the work. The results of this study are the use of rubber shoe soles as a new material choice which has several advantages over other materials including: the material is easy to obtain on the market, the price is cheap, can produce good image details, and is also easy to apply to the media. The results of this study are expected to be used by graphic artists and the public who are interested in the field of graphic arts.  Keywords: print, cut, graphic, rubber, shoe sole

Abstract

AbstrakGame BabyBus Kids memiliki banyak topik yang didalamnya terdapat sub topik penyelamat dalam gempa. Pengembang game ini sendiri berdiri pada tahun 2009 yang kemudian pada pada tahun 2022 akhir sudah diunduh sebanyak satu juta lebih dengan rating bintang 4,5. Salah satu hal positif yang bisa diambil dari pengembang game ini yakni memiliki visi atau tujuan dalam pengajaran pola pengasuhan, pertumbuhan sehat dan pengembangan otak anak. Hal menarik lainnya yang perlu dikaji dalam game ini salah satunya berupa tema, konsep interaktif dan visualisasi game tersebut dimana bisa memberikan pengalaman interaktif pada anak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis user interface pada game Baby Bus dalam sub topik penyelamat dalam gempa menggunakan metode kuantitatif-kualitatif dengan didukung oleh observasi secara langsung terhadap anak. User interface pada game ini akan dianalisis menggunakan teori The Golden rules of user interface design dari Theo Mandel  yakni  menempatkan pengguna sebagai kontrol,  memudahkan pengguna untuk mengingat, dan konsisten antarmuka.  Luaran yang dihasilkan pada penelitian ini berupa model analisis yang dirumuskan sesuai dengan ketiga prinsip dasar The Golden rules of user interface yang bermanfaat sebagai rujukan pengembangan game edukasi berikutnya. Kata Kunci: BabyBus Kids, Game, Media Edukasi Anak, User interface AbstractBabyBus Kids game has many topics with sub-topics of saviors in an earthquake. This game was founded in 2009. at the end of 2022 has been downloaded for more than 1 million with a 4.5-star rating. One of the positive things that can be taken from this game is that the game has a vision or goal of teaching parenting patterns, healthy growth, and children's brain development. Another interesting thing that needs to be studied in this game is the interactive concept and visualization, which can provide an interactive experience for children. This research aims to analyze the Baby Bus game user interface in rescuers in the earthquake safety savior earthquake subtopic using quantitative-qualitative methods supported by direct observation of children. The user interface in this game will be analyzed using Theo Mandel's theory of The Golden rules of user interface design, namely placing the user in control, making it easy for the user to remember, and having a consistent interface. The output produced in this study is in the form of an analytical model that is formulated under the three basic principles of The Golden rules of the user interface, which are helpful as a reference for the development of the following educational game. Keywords: BabyBus Kids, Children's Educational Media, Games, User interface

Abstract

MLBI Seafood, perusahaan yang telah beroperasi di Semarang selama beberapa tahun, menghadapi tantangan dalam mengelola strategi bisnis dan pemasarannya sejalan dengan lingkungan bisnis yang berubah dengan cepat. Tren konsumen yang berkembang pesat, seperti peningkatan kesadaran akan keberlanjutan dan kesehatan, juga mengubah cara konsumen memilih makanan laut. Hal ini termasuk memperluas pemasaran produk ke kelompok umur lainnya. Salah satu cara untuk mengatasi hal ini adalah dengan mengembangkan peluang pasar baru dengan mengembangkan jenis kemasan baru yangkhususnya menarik bagi pelanggan berusia 25 hingga 30 tahun. Desain kemasan ini didasarkan pada kepentingan produk yang berbeda-beda tergantung kemasan yang digunakan.Perancangan ini menggunakan teknik penelitian kualitatif serta teknik analisisSWOT dan dijadikan acuan dalam merancang suatu paket untuk menjangkau pasar yang diinginkan.

Abstract

A preacher has a duty to invite goodness with sincere intentions and without expecting anything from the object of his preaching, besides that the preacher must also believe in himself and his ability to provide good and useful advice for others. As a preacher, of course, we must also provide a good example and show that what we teach is something that is done in everyday life. That way, people will find it easier to follow what we convey. However, in reality there are several psychological obstacles that are often experienced by preachers in inviting goodness and not everyone is easy to invite to goodness, therefore this article will discuss what are the psychological obstacles of a preacher in advising and trying to provide solutions to these problems.

Abstract

This study aims to provide practical and applicable solutions to improve road safety on the Troop-Sindangkasih Road section in Majalengka Regency, West Java, by analyzing road visibility using empirical data and the Bina Marga method. The primary data consisted of looking for a literature review on the classification of road classes based on their functions, calculation of visibility, while for secondary data collected about the location map of this study. The results show that visibility planning can be improved to improve traffic efficiency and reduce the risk of accidents. The research could also consider the influence of different vehicle types and weather conditions on visibility requirements to refine the standards set by the Geometric Planning Procedures for Intercity Roads. It is also hoped that this research will increase awareness of the importance of visibility planning for overall road safety to avoid accidents.
