Abstract

This research aim to study the influence of the Discovery Learning model aided by Pop-Up Book media on student learning outcomes in Thematic learning. This research is quantitative research. The research method used a Quasi Experimental method with the design type Matching Only Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. The population of this study is the IV grade Elementary school students of cluster X  Bengkulu City. The samples were class IVB SDN 58 Bengkulu City and class IVB SDN 38 Bengkulu City. The sampling technique used the purposive sampling. The total sample are 42 students consisting of class IV B SDN 58 Bengkulu City with 21 students as the experimental class and class IV B SDN 38 Bengkulu City with 21 students as the control class. The research instrument used the knowledge learning test in the form of multiple choice questions given through Pretest and Posttest, for the results of learning attitude and skill aspects were used the observation sheets as the instrument. Data analysis technique in this research is quantitative analysis using descriptive statistics and inferential statistics. Based on the results of data processing, that estimated the results of the t-test show the value of t-count in Indonesian subjects are 2.96 and IPA are 5.03 greater than the value of t-table at a significant level of 5% are 2.02. Thus the  hypothesis are proven and accepted. This shows that there is an influence of Discovery Learning Model aided by Pop-up book media on student learning outcomes in Thematic learning.Keywords: Discovery Learning, Pop-Up Book Media, Thematic, Learning Outcomes

Abstract

This research was aimed to describe the trash management at the State elementary School 07 Bengkulu City focusing on the primary school’s trash management. This was a qualitative research with a descriptive method. The subjects of this research were the head master, teachers and students. The data gathering techniques used were observation, interview, and documentation. The data were analyzed by checking the result of the observation, interview and documentation to further being analyzed into the data reduction, data presentation, and data conclusion. The credibility checking was done by doing the double checking, using the triangulation, and conducting the member checking.The results of this research showed that the trash management planning was programmed in the vision, mission, values of the organization, strategic environmental analysis, key indicators of the successfulness, goals and targets, and strategies (program and activities). This plan was made systematically as the base for State Elementary School 07 Bengkulu City’s trash management resulted into a coherent, synchronized, and solid program.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate classroom management in outdoor learning at SD Negeri 08 Bengkulu City. This research is an evaluation research using the discrepancy evaluation model. The subjects of this research were VA class teachers and VA class students. Qualitative data were obtained from observation sheets, interviews and documentation. This study uses a qualitative selection of considerations and uses the Miles and Huberman model of analysis techniques. The results show that the arrangement of students and facilities in the implementation of classroom management in learning outside the classroom (outdoor learning) has been successful because it has implemented the set standard. The number of occurrences of each indicator is mostly (5) very good, (4) good, and (3) sufficient. Therefore the implementation of classroom management in learning outside the classroom can be said to have been successful. The implementation of learning outside the classroom (Outdoor Learning) is in accordance with the provisions that are enforced even though there are several descriptors that do not appear.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how the implementation of character education for class IV A students in the application of 6S culture and to determine the inhibiting factors in implementing 6S culture at SDN 02 Bengkulu City. The type of research used is qualitative research with a case study approach. The subjects of the study were school principals, class IVA teachers, and class IV A students who had not implemented a culture that had not implemented 6S culture at SD Negeri 02 Kota Bengkulu. Data collection techniques were observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques were the stages of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and data verification. Data validity techniques were triangulation and member check. The results of this study show that (1) The implementation of student character education in 6S Culture (Smile, Greetings, Greetings, Politeness, Courtesy, Spirit) class IV A at SDN 02 Bengkulu City has not been efficient. The 6S culture at SDN 02 Bengkulu City has two activities, namely routine activities, and activities, to see if the implementation of 6S culture at SDN 02 Bengkulu City is efficient or has not been seen from the stages of cultural habituation Information (Provision of cultural habituation information), Training (cultural habituation training), Modeling (observing cultural habituation), Condition (Conditions of cultural habituation activities), Habituation (Cultural habituation) and Culturalization (Habits that grow) (2) inhibiting factors in the implementation of 6S culture (Smile, Greeting, Greeting, Polite, Polite, Passion) towards the formation of character of grade IV A students at SDN 02 Bengkulu City when viewed from the stages of implementation in cultural implementation, namely Information or information that students can be good or bad, Modelling or models that students exemplify and Conditions or conditions, it can be conditions of residence, home or school.

Abstract

This research aims to improve student activity and learning outcomes by using the Discovery Learning model assisted by  pop-up book media in class IIIA thematic learning at SDN 44 Bengkulu City. The subjects in this research were 21 teachers and students of class IIIA SDN 44 Bengkulu City. Test data is used using the formula for average value and percentage of learning completeness. Cycle I mathematics subjects with an average value of 45.72 and a percentage of 38.09% increased in cycle II with an average value of 76.66 and a percentage of 85.72%. So it can be concluded that classroom action research increased learning activities and outcomes using the Discovery Learning model assisted by  pop-up book media in class IIIA thematic learning at SDN 44 Bengkulu City.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the application of pedaogogic competence of elementary school teachers in implementing in mathematics learning in class VI SD Negeri 17 Bengkulu City. This research uses qualitative research methods using a qualitative descriptive approach. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques are carried out by collecting data in the field, reducing data, presenting data, and drawing conclusions. Data validity in conducting credibility tests used are triangulation and member check. The results showed that the pedagogical competence of class VI A teachers in the implementation of mathematics learning based on seven indicators has been implemented, teachers can understand the characteristics of students, are able to master learning theories and principles of educational learning, carry out curriculum development, carry out educational learning activities, develop the potential of students and carry out evaluation and assessment. However, of the seven indicators of pedagogical competence, there is one indicator that has not been fully met, namely the fourth indicator of educational learning activities. Teachers do not utilize technology in learning such as infocus and learning videos in the learning process.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the implementation of internalization of student discipline values through habituation methods in flag ceremony activities This research is a descriptive research with a qualitative type of research. The subjects of this study were 5th grade teachers and students. The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, and documentation. The credibility of the data used, namely triangulation and member check. Data analysis is carried out through data collection, data condensation, data presentation and conclusions. The result of this study is that there are three stages of value internalization, namely value transformation, value transactions and value trans- internalization and in ceremonial activities there are 10 indicators. The conclusion of this study is that the three stages in internalizing the value of discipline in flag ceremony activities have been shown by students even though they have not fully demonstrated the attitude of 5th grade students. Indicators that are still not shown by students are not following the reading of Pancasila, not using fully clothed attributes such as ties and belts, students also do not disperse ranks regularly when the flag ceremony is over.

Abstract

This research endeavors to elucidate the influence of educators in cultivating a sense of responsibility through thematic learning incorporating PPKn for students in class VA at Elementary School 41 Bengkulu City. The nature of this investigation is descriptive qualitative. The focus of inquiry is the teacher of class VA. Tools for this study include observation and interview protocols. Data acquisition methods involve observing and conducting interviews. The gathered information was evaluated through the processes of data collection, data refinement, data visualization, and conclusion formulation/validation. This study centers on two key functions of the teacher in developing responsible character: the teacher as a motivator and as a facilitator. Findings indicate that the educator's role as a motivator involves providing encouragement and guidance to students while delivering lessons. As a facilitator, the teacher fosters an engaging environment and supplies resources in the form of learning media and instructional materials. The study concludes that the VA class teacher successfully fulfills their role as both a motivator and facilitator in nurturing responsible character at State Elementary School 41 Bengkulu City.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the quality of the questions in the fifth grade Indonesian language student handbook in terms of the comp.onent.s o.f t.e.xt content, text co.nte.xt a.n.d c.og.nitive l.ev.el. The researcher used qualitative research with a qualitative descriptive method and the subject used in this research was the student handbook for the Indonesian Language Moving Together subject of the class V independence curriculum with the help of a document analysis sheet in the form of a student handbook for the class V Indonesian Language subject and appropriate documents/literature with a research focus. This research uses data collection techniques in the form of observation and documentation, data is analyzed using data collection, data reduction, data display and conclusion drawing/verification. The research results show that the most dominant content components are informational texts (58.4%), and fictional texts (41.5%). The most dominant context components are personal (71.1%), socio-cultural and scientific (14.4%). The most dominant cognitive level components are finding information (87.7%), interpreting and integrating (7.7%), evaluating and reflecting (4.4%)
