Abstract

This paper presents the urgency of implementing character education at MIN 1 Probolinggo. Based on the various phenomena that exist about the moral degradation of the nation's children which are currently rife, there is a lack of honesty during the exam. MIN 1 Probolinggo as an educational institution implements character education because educational institutions are playing environments and where children interact long enough to influence their character education. MIN 1 Probolinggo in its application through several steps, namely, planting monotheism, adab, responsibility, caring, independence and community. MIN 1 Probolinggo provides provisions in the form of character education for MI-level children that are easy to remember and implement in everyday life.

Abstract

The gap in the quality of education between urban and rural areas is still an important issue. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of community service programs in improving the quality of education in rural areas. This research is a type of qualitative research. The research sample consisted of teachers, students and the community. Programs implemented include teacher training, provision of learning resources, and extracurricular activities designed to increase student and community engagement. The results of the study show that the development of community service programs is effective in supporting the improvement of the quality of education in rural areas. These findings support the use of community service as an effective strategy to strengthen education in remote areas and provide recommendations for policymakers to adopt a similar approach in advancing village education.

Abstract

Data Mining adalah proses mengekstraksi dan menemukan pola dalam kumpulan data besar yang melibatkan metode dalam proses  pembelajaran mesin, statistik, dan sistem basis data. SD Negeri Sidodadi Paiton merupakan sekolah dasar yang terletak di desa Sidodadi kecamatan paiton. Pada proses pembelajaran di SD Negeri Sidodadi, masih banyak murid yang tidak fokus dan tidak memiliki kemauan untuk belajar, kemungkinan terbesar adalah ketidak cocokan gaya belajar dan metode belajar guru tersebut. Oleh karenanya, penulis melakukan analisis data mining terhadap data murid dan kepribadiannya agar data tersebut dapat berubah menjadi informasi yang bermanfaat bagi lembaga. Informasi ini bisa membantu untuk meningkatkan proses belajar mengajar di SD Negeri Sidodadi Paiton. Penulis menggunakan hasil data quisioner terhadap siswa kelas 4, 5 dan 6 sebanyak 165 data siswa-siswi yang telah penulis sajikan. Dalam proses analisis ini, penulis menggunakan tools Rapiminer Studio. Metode yang digunakan decision tree dengan algoritma C4.5. Hasil prediksi menggunakan algoritma decision tree C4.5 dengan hasil 8 rules. Persentasi hasil akurasi decision tree dengan menggunakan menggunakan 10 Fold Cross Validation  membuktikan bahwa tingkat akurasinya sebesar 81.18%. dengan nilai class precission untuk prediksi kinestetik sebesar 85.43%, prediksi visual sebesar 33.33%, dan prediksi auditorial sebesar 0.00%, hasil 5 Fold Cross Validation akurasinya sebesar 82.27%. dengan nilai class precission untuk prediksi kinestetik sebesar 86.09%, prediksi visual sebesar 41.67%, dan prediksi auditorial sebesar 0.00%. Dari hasil perbandingan membuktikan implementasi dengan model 5 Fold Cross Validation lebih baik.

Abstract

Pembelajaran membaca Al-Qur’an sudah lazim dipelajari disetiap lembaga pendidikan Madrasah Ibtidaiyah. Akan tetapi, terdapat masalah yang dihadapi di suatu lembaga seperti penggunaan metode dalam pengajarannya. Latar belakang dari penelitian ini merupakan minimnya keahlian anak didik dalam membaca Al-Qur’an, setelah itu digunakannya metode Yanbu’ a dalam kesuksesan membaca Al-Qur’an pada cara pembelajaran. Penelitian ini ialah penelitian kualitatif deskriptif, dengan mengutip lokasi di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Miftahul Ulum Sumber Kemuning, Tamanan, Bondowoso. Pengumpulan data didapat dari observasi, wawancara, serta dokumentasi. Tujuan riset ini adalah untuk mengetahui penerapan pembelajaran di Madarasah Ibtidaiyah Miftahul Ulum dengan menggunakan metode Yanbu’a. Hasil penelitian bahwa penerapan metode Yanbu’a ini di mulai : Pertama, perencaan pembelajaran yaang harus disiapkan oleh guru dan buku panduan bagi siswa. Kedua, proses pelaksanaan pembelajaran dengan diawali pembukaan, kegiatan inti, dan penutup. Ketiga, evaluasi setelah melaksanakan proses pemebelajaran. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian membuktikan jika pemakaian tata cara Yanbu’a dalam pembelajaran memberikan pengaruh besar dan cukup membantu siswa, sehingga siswa mampu menguaasai dan memahami pembelajaran Al-Qur’an dengan fashih dan tepat.

Abstract

The Al-Qur'an learning assistance program at MI Miftahul Islam Paiton was conducted to enhance students' understanding of the Al-Qur'an and develop their discipline. This topic was chosen due to the importance of Islamic religious education in shaping students' character and morals. The methods used in this community service included intensive learning and evaluation through pre-tests and post-tests. The results showed a significant improvement in students' understanding, with an average post-test score increase of 32.2 points. Additionally, there were positive changes in students' discipline in performing religious duties and adhering to school rules. The conclusion of this program is that Al-Qur'an learning assistance is effective in improving students' understanding and discipline. This finding is significant as it demonstrates that the right learning methods can have a substantial positive impact on Islamic religious education.

Abstract

Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) Darussalam Paiton faces challenges in utilizing digital technology in the learning process due to limited facilities and low digital literacy among students and teachers. This issue affects the optimal use of technology as a learning tool and the lack of parental support for technology-based education at home. To address these challenges, a community service program was implemented, consisting of digital literacy training and mentoring for MI Darussalam’s students and teachers. The program included training on the use of technology devices, integration of technology in learning, and socialization for parents on the importance of digital literacy. The results of this program showed a significant improvement in students' digital literacy understanding, teachers' ability to integrate technology into teaching, and increased awareness and support from parents. However, some students and parents still require additional assistance. Based on these findings, it is recommended that further training programs and increased access to technological resources at school and home be pursued to ensure the sustainability of the program.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how the content in the upin ipin animated Ramadan strains episode can shape the religious and moral values ​​of early childhood. This research uses a qualitative approach with Roland Barthes' semiotic analysis. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique is carried out systematically, starting with data collection, semiotic analysis and drawing conclusions. The results of the study are that the animation of upin ipin episodes of Ramadan strains has seven values ​​that help form children's religious and moral values ​​including politeness, prayer and recitation, things that break fasting, increase practice in the month of Ramadan, prayer for breaking the fast and intention of fasting, saying hello, and singing the Hijriyah month. This upin ipin episode of Ramadan strains is very appropriate to be used as an example and watched by a wide audience with the hope that moral and religious values ​​can be conveyed in a simple way and can be well received by early childhood, especially parents and families. The animated film Upin Ipin episodes of Ramadhan strains deserves to be watched by all groups, young people and adults alike in the hope that the impression of religious and moral values ​​from this animation can be conveyed and well received.

Abstract

This study examines the impact of Problem-Based Learning (PBL) on students' participation, critical thinking skills, and understanding of fiqh concepts. Using a qualitative case study approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews, classroom observations, and document analysis. The findings indicate that PBL fosters a dynamic and inclusive learning environment, encouraging previously passive students to actively engage in discussions, share ideas, and connect fiqh theory to real-life contexts. Teachers observed increased student confidence in questioning, arguing, and problem-solving. These results highlight PBL as an effective alternative for enhancing fiqh education in madrassas and other Islamic institutions. By integrating PBL, students not only improve their conceptual understanding but also develop essential critical and collaborative thinking skills for their future.

Abstract

Penerapan Kurikulum Merdeka di lingkungan madrasah berbasis pesantren merupakan isu strategis yang relevan dalam upaya reformasi pendidikan nasional. Kurikulum ini menawarkan pendekatan yang lebih fleksibel, interaktif, dan kontekstual, namun pelaksanaannya di pesantren masih menghadapi berbagai tantangan, baik secara teknis maupun filosofis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka di MTs Nurul Wahid Al-Wahyuni serta mengidentifikasi kendala yang dihadapi dan strategi optimalisasi yang dapat dilakukan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka di madrasah tersebut telah dimulai secara bertahap, terutama dalam bentuk pembelajaran berbasis proyek dan penguatan karakter keislaman. Namun, proses ini masih terhambat oleh rendahnya kapasitas guru, keterbatasan sarana teknologi, dan pola belajar siswa yang belum sepenuhnya mandiri. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa Kurikulum Merdeka dapat diterapkan secara efektif di madrasah berbasis pesantren apabila didukung dengan pelatihan guru yang berkelanjutan, pengembangan modul ajar kontekstual, serta integrasi nilai-nilai pesantren dalam desain kurikulum. Temuan ini memberikan kontribusi terhadap pengembangan model kurikulum yang adaptif dan relevan dengan karakteristik pendidikan Islam.
