Abstract

This research explores the application of the snakes and ladders game method as a tool to increase student concentration at MI Az Zainiyah II KarangAnyar. The snakes and ladders game has been modified by adding educational elements to integrate learning aspects with play activities. The main aim of this research is to observe the impact of using the snakes and ladders game on student engagement and concentration during the learning process. The results showed that students demonstrated significant improvements in concentration and engagement when engaged in games that combined elements of learning with entertainment. Evaluations were carried out through direct observation and discussions with students, revealing that students were more focused and motivated in completing the learning tasks encountered during the game. Although some challenges, such as maintaining motivation and adjusting the level of difficulty, were encountered during implementation, the benefits of this method show that a creative approach to learning can create a more interactive and enjoyable learning environment. This research concludes that an optimized snakes and ladders game can be an effective educational tool, offering the potential to improve the quality of learning and student concentration in the classroom.

Abstract

Penerapan Kurikulum Merdeka di lingkungan madrasah berbasis pesantren merupakan isu strategis yang relevan dalam upaya reformasi pendidikan nasional. Kurikulum ini menawarkan pendekatan yang lebih fleksibel, interaktif, dan kontekstual, namun pelaksanaannya di pesantren masih menghadapi berbagai tantangan, baik secara teknis maupun filosofis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka di MTs Nurul Wahid Al-Wahyuni serta mengidentifikasi kendala yang dihadapi dan strategi optimalisasi yang dapat dilakukan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka di madrasah tersebut telah dimulai secara bertahap, terutama dalam bentuk pembelajaran berbasis proyek dan penguatan karakter keislaman. Namun, proses ini masih terhambat oleh rendahnya kapasitas guru, keterbatasan sarana teknologi, dan pola belajar siswa yang belum sepenuhnya mandiri. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa Kurikulum Merdeka dapat diterapkan secara efektif di madrasah berbasis pesantren apabila didukung dengan pelatihan guru yang berkelanjutan, pengembangan modul ajar kontekstual, serta integrasi nilai-nilai pesantren dalam desain kurikulum. Temuan ini memberikan kontribusi terhadap pengembangan model kurikulum yang adaptif dan relevan dengan karakteristik pendidikan Islam.

Abstract

The transformation and development of educational institutions in Indonesia also require pesantren to make improvements while maintaining their distinctiveness. Demands for development on the one hand and religious problems on the other are two threats and challenges for pesantren. The response to the two threats is anticipated by the pesantren with the development of a distinctive curriculum that distinguishes it from other institutions. This article discusses the process of developing curriculum insight nationality-oriented in pesantren, both in terms of patterns of development, the foundation of development, and conception of development. It is then becoming the key to the success of the pesantren in instilling nationalism in santri.

Abstract

Pembelajaran   daring   menjadi   pembelajaran   alternatif   ditengah   Pandemi   pada anak Sekolah  Dasar  untuk mata pelajaran  IPS. Situasi ini membuat sebagian siswa   merasa jenuh dikarenakan metode pembelajarannya monoton melalui  metode ceramah  dan beban tugas. Gurudituntut untuk dapat menguasai berbagaimacam platformpembelajaranyangtelah disediakandengan kapasitas untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar dari siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengkoneksikan pembelajaran daring menggunakan media Google Classroom pada mata pelajaran IPS bagi siswa kelas VI MI Nurul Mun'im. Metode yang digunakan adalah teknik analisis dataset pre eksperimen dengan menggunakan desain intact grup comperision. Data diambil pada kelas VI berjumlah 28 peserta didik dibagi 2 kelas yaitu kelas VI B dan VI C masing-masing  berjumlah 14 peserta didik sebagai kelas kelompok kontrol dan eksperimen, dengan nilai Mean (nilai rata - rata) untuk klompok eksperimen dengan Mean (nilai rata - rata) 89.63 serta untuk kelompok kontrol 80.78, difference 8.85. Analisis dari  Mann Whitney menghasilkan nilai dari p-valuue 0,00<0,05 yang menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran daring pada hasil dari proses belajar Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial (IPS). Kasimpulannya, ada perbedaan signifikan antara proses pembelajaran daring Google classroom dengan teknik pembelajara secara konvensional. Hasil penelitian ini memberikan manfaat serta masukan bagi guru MI Nurul Mun'in untuk mengimplemintasikan model pembelajaran daring untuk meningkatkan hasil prestasi belajar siswa dimana kususnya mata pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial (IPS).

Abstract

From the results of direct observations carried out on March 6, 2022, it was found that the teacher still taught students only by using the lecture, question and answer, and assignment methods. Then the learning environment that only takes place in the classroom makes learning boring. These methods tend to make students unable to make connections between what is learned and how that knowledge is used. This can be seen from the learning outcomes of social studies subject matter that need to be improved. To improve social studies learning outcomes through the application of visual learning models to students of class V A even Semester at MI Tarbiyatul Islam. This study aims to improve social studies learning outcomes through the application of visual media-assisted contextual learning models for even semester V A grade students at MI Tarbiyatul Islam Kandang Jati Kulon in the 2021/2022 academic year. This research is classroom action research which is carried out in two cycles. Each cycle consists of four stages, namely planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The research subjects were students of class V A MI Tarbiyatul Islam Kandang Jati Kulon totaling 35 students consisting of 12 male students and 23 female students. Data collection in this study was carried out by the test method. The data collected were analyzed by descriptive statistical analysis and quantitative descriptive analysis. The results showed that the average social studies learning outcomes in the first cycle was 75.45 in the medium category and in the second cycle increased to 87.23 in the high category. The increase that occurs if it is calculated using the Gn formula, the score score is 0.48 which if converted to the criteria table for improving learning outcomes is in the medium category. Thus, it can be concluded that the application of the contextual learning model assisted by visual media can improve social studies learning outcomes for class V A MI Tarbiyatul Islam Kandang Jati Kulon academic year 2021/2022
