Abstract

Walaupun perkembangan bank syariah sangat pesat dewasa ini, namun masih dapat beberapa permasalahan yaitu rendahnya kualitas sumber daya manusia yang dimiliki oleh bank syariah. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat bagaimana pengaruh faktor kepemimpinan Islam dapat berpengaruh terhadap kinerja karyawan bank syariah di Kota Pekanbaru. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis regresi sederhana dengan populasi penelitian adalah seluruh karyawan bank syariah yang ada di Kota Pekanbaru, sedangan sampel penelitian sebanyak 273 responden dengan menggunakan rumus Krejcie-Morgan. Hasil penelitian ini menemukan bahwa kepemimpinan Islam tidak berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan bank syariah di Kota Pekanbaru, hal ini karena karyawan bank syariah merasa tertekan dengan target pencapaian kerja. Di sisi lain, pemimpin di bank syariah hanya terfokus memberikan penilaian kerja berdasarkan target pencapaian kerja tersebut tanpa melihat dan mempertimbangkan aspek lainnya.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kinerja bank syariah di Indonesia apabila dibandingkan dengan potensi yang dimiliki yaitu negara dengan populasi penduduk Muslim terbesar didunia. Rendahnya pasaran bank syariah ini di sebabkan oleh berbagai faktor, salah satu faktor yang dominan adalah sumber daya manusia (SDM). Salah satu permasalah SDM pada bank syariah adalah kurangnya pemberdayaan yang dilakukan terhadap karyawannya, sehingga komitmen organisasi yang dimiliki oleh karyawan belum optimal dan tingginya turn over karyawan bank syariah. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberdayaan karyawan dan komitmen organisasi terhadap kinerja karyawan bank syariah, baik secara langsung maupun melalui variabel mediasi. Populasi penelitian ini adalah 941 orang karyawan dengan sampel sejumlah 273 orang karyawan. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah berupa kuesioner penelitian. Penelitian ini termasuk kepada penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan metode analisis data menggunakan regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian ini menemukan bahwa pemberdayaan karyawan dan komitmen organisasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan kepada kinerja karyawan bank syariah.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of digital literacy and entrepreneurial literacy on student entrepreneurial interest. The population of this study were students of private universities in Pekanbaru with a sample of 176 respondents selected through accidental sampling. The data collection method was carried out through distributing questionnaires via Google Form. The data analysis technique used is Multiple Linear Regression Analysis with SPSS. The results showed that digital literacy did not have a significant effect on student entrepreneurial interest, so the first hypothesis (H1) was rejected. Although there are indications that increasing digital literacy can increase entrepreneurial interest, the results of statistical analysis show that this influence is not strong enough to be considered significant in the context of this study. On the other hand, entrepreneurial literacy has a positive and significant influence on students' entrepreneurial interest. This means that an increase in entrepreneurial literacy can be expected to significantly increase entrepreneurial interest. Therefore, the second hypothesis (H2) is accepted. The conclusion of this study is that in the context of the population and sample studied, only entrepreneurial literacy significantly affects students' entrepreneurial interest while digital literacy does not have a strong enough or significant effect.

Abstract

The problem at hand is the low interest and ability of rural youth in entrepreneurship, as a significant portion of the community relies on limited employment opportunities in palm oil plantations. With the aim of enhancing the quality of human resources in Sungai Manasib village, the proposer intends to carry out community service activities. The proposed solution to address the partner's issues involves conducting an educational program on Sharia-based entrepreneurship, introducing Sharia financial institutions for business financing, organizing online entrepreneurship field trips, and providing digital marketing assistance to the youth/rural community of Sungai Manasib. The outcome of this dedication is expected to assist the village of Sungai Manasib in enhancing the quality of its human resources/community through the growth of youngpreneurs who operate businesses in accordance with Sharia principles, with the hope of providing a solution to the issue of unemployment in Sungai Manasib village. In addition, the mandatory output of this community service activity will be published in local mass media, and an additional output will be published in a nationally accredited Sinta 5 community service journal. The PkM activity will be carried out in several stages, starting with the planning stage, followed by counseling and mentoring, and ending with a measurable evaluation. The PkM activity has a positive impact on the improvement of human resources in the village and is able to provide more knowledge and interest for young people to engage in entrepreneurship.

Abstract

This research aims to understand how universities support students in technology-based entrepreneurial ventures. Through a series of interviews, the research identified several key ways in which universities support entrepreneurs, including a proactive approach in promoting entrepreneurship, providing entrepreneurship education and training, providing access to financial resources, and assisting students in networking and securing mentorship. However, the research also uncovered some challenges and barriers, including less rapid response to challenges and a lack of specialized support for technology-based start-ups. This research shows that while universities play an important role in supporting tech-based student entrepreneurship, there is still room for improvement. Further research is needed to understand how universities can design and implement more effective entrepreneurship initiatives, how entrepreneurship education can be more effective in increasing entrepreneurial intentions and skills, how universities can be more effective in supporting the financial aspects of entrepreneurship, and how networking and mentorship can be better utilized in the context of technology-based entrepreneurship.

Abstract

Islamic finance has experienced significant growth over the past few decades, differing significantly from the conventional financial system by adhering to key principles such as the prohibition of interest (riba) and speculation (gharar). This unique approach not only caters to followers of Islam but also attracts a global audience seeking ethical financial solutions. As Islamic finance reaches beyond Muslim-majority countries, its contribution to sustainable development and financial inclusion becomes substantial. However, this expansion also presents challenges, including the need for greater standardization and regulation to better integrate with the global economic system. Notable research from institutions such as the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund emphasizes the sector's potential to address broader economic issues such as poverty and inequality. This thesis explores the integration of Islamic finance into the global economy, examining the factors driving its growth, the barriers faced, and its impact on economic development.

Abstract

Investing is an activity that is recommended from an Islamic point of view. This is because the Prophet Muhammad SAW has been involved in investment activities from a young age until he became apostolic. One of Indonesia's efforts to encourage economic growth is to expand the investment sector through the use of capital market products. This research is a descriptive and qualitative analysis. Islamic capital market activities are needed to further optimize the existence of Islamic law because the value of sharia in investing in sharia has not been fully investigated. Abstract

This study examines the impact of blockchain technology on financial reporting, focusing on its effects on transparency, efficiency, and audit quality. The research utilized both qualitative (semi-structured interviews) and quantitative (surveys) methods to gather data from professionals in the field of accounting and finance. The qualitative findings suggest that blockchain enhances transparency and efficiency in financial reporting processes, particularly through its immutable ledger and real-time access to transaction data. Additionally, it was found that blockchain improves audit quality by providing auditors with more reliable and verifiable data. However, the study also identified significant barriers to blockchain adoption, including regulatory uncertainty, high implementation costs, and technical integration challenges. The survey results, based on 100 respondents, confirmed these findings, with 85% agreeing that blockchain improves transparency and 78% believing it enhances efficiency. Despite these benefits, 68% of respondents cited regulatory uncertainty as a key barrier to adoption. This study contributes to the literature on blockchain's role in financial reporting and offers insights into the challenges and opportunities for blockchain implementation in the accounting and auditing fields.

Abstract

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of motivation and organizational commitment on the loyalty and performance of Islamic bank employees, either directly or through mediating variables.Design/methodology: This research belongs to quantitative research with data analysis methods using Smart PLS 3.0 software. The research instrument used was a research questionnaire. The total sample of 353 employees.Findings: The results of the study found that Organizational Commitment affects Employee Performance, Organizational Commitment affects Loyalty, Loyalty affects Employee Performance, motivation has no effect on Employee Performance, motivation has no effect on loyalty, loyalty mediates the effect of organizational commitment on employee performance, but loyalty does not mediate the effect of motivation on employee performance. Practical implications: The Empirical implication of this research is to determine the conditions and factors that can increase of Islamic Bank Employee performance through motivation, organizational commitment, and loyalty.Originality/Value: This study recommend that Islamic banks should create activities or programs in the form of training or workshops or other activities to increase the spirit of employee motivation at work so that later it can lead to employee loyalty.Keywords: Motivation, Organizational Commitment, Loyalty, Employee Performance

Abstract

BMT adalah lembaga keuangan yang berhubungan dengan pengusaha kecil untuk tambahan modal bagi kegiatan usahannya. Lembaga ini menyediakan dana untuk menolong pengusaha kecil yang tidak dapat memperoleh pinjaman dari bank. Selanjutnya, adanya BMT ini ditujukan untuk membantuk perekonomian masyarakat golongan ekonomi kebawah, sehingaa menereka terjauh dari rentenir yang kerap kali meminta imbalan berupa bunga pinjaman yang tinggi. Sejak munculnya BMT ini pada tahun 1992, lembaga ini ternyata disambut positif oleh berbagai kalangan masyarakat di Indonesia. Banyak masyarakat telah terbantu secara ekonomi karena adanya BMT ini; namun, ada juga yang usahanya tetap gagal dan akhirnya bangkrut. Penyebab kegagalan usaha mereka biasanya dikarenakan oleh banyaknya kendala yang muncul dalam kegiatan usaha mereka. Maka dari itu, melalui penelitian ini, beberapa BMT di Pekanbaru telah diseleksi kemudian di adakan penelitian studi kasus yang menganalisa tentang faktor internal dan eksternal yang dihadapi oleh BMT. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Analytic Network Process (ANP). Data primer diperoleh melalui wawancara dengan pakar akademisi, praktisi dan undangundang yang mana memiliki pemahaman khusus tentang kajian ini. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rendahnya SDM merupakan faktor internal utama sehingga perlu adanya pelatihan dan pendidikan tambahan. Oleh karena itu, permasalahan ini sebaiknya segera diselesaikan dengan memberikan peraturan khusus tambahan sehingga masalah-masalah tersebut dapat diatasi dengan baik oleh BMT.
