Abstract

Since it was inaugurated on March 1 2022, Indonesia's new halal logo has attracted a lot of controversy. This is inseparable from the visual appearance of the logo which is very strong in Javanese culture by taking the shape of a mountain and a lurik surjan motif as the big idea. However, the signs and meanings in them are still conventional in accordance with Islamic values such as the value of divinity, faith and devotion, as well as the value of tolerance. On the other hand, the new Indonesian halal logo design is able to represent the halal and haram rules and laws themselves based on Islamic law. This research uses Peirce's semiotic approach with the boundaries of signs as objects, namely icons, indices and symbols. The method used is a qualitative research method with an interpretive analysis approach. From the results of the research carried out, there is a new marking system through observation and analysis carried out in the form of signs of Allah's pronunciation and the shape of the mosque dome. Overall, the visual appearance of the new Indonesian halal logo meets the design principles of being simpler, timeless, elegant, unique and attractive, proportional and relevant. In this way, the visual identity of the halal logo can make it easier for Muslims to recognize and identify halal products that are suitable for consumption.

Abstract

Pemberdayaan masyarakat dalam dunia Usaha, Mikro Kecil dan Menengah (UMKM) saat ini sangat penting untuk dilakukan, dengan tujuan memberdayakan, mengembangkan dan sekaligus meningkatkan perekonomian warga dalam menghadapi perubahan dunia bisnis yang begitu kompleks dan dinamis, hal ini menjadi suatu peluang, sekaligus ancaman dan tantangan bagi para pelaku usaha. Terdapat dua masalah utama yang dihadapi mitra, pertama usaha keripik tempe Syahira masih diproduksi secara manual dan tradisional, sehingga belum bisa memenuhi kebutuhan pasar yang setiap tahunnya mengalami peningkatan. Kedua, tidak adanya identitas logo dan kemasan yang merupakan faktor penting dalam strategi pemasaran. Solusi yang ditawarkan dari masalah tersebut adalah memberdayakan UMKM keripik tempe Syahira pada skema Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM). Kegiatan ini berfokus pada aspek produksi dan pemasaran melalui identitas visual logo dan kemasan. Target dan capaian dapat dilihat dari kualitas dan kuantitas produksi keripik tempe. Kemudian, target dan capaian dari segi identitas visual logo dan kemasan yang dibuat juga memiliki dampak dan pengaruh yang kuat dalam hal promosi dan pemasaran produk. Melalui kegiatan pelatihan ini diharapkan bisa menjadi bekal dan pengetahuan bagi pelaku usaha untuk mengembangkan dan meningkatkan pemasaran produk yang lebih luas.

Abstract

One of the typical Banyuasin traditional dances is the Sedulang Setudung Dance, which is usually performed to welcome guests. The main problem faced is how to regenerate the interest of the younger generation in loving and appreciating local arts, one of which is the Sedulang Setudung dance. In overcoming this problem, the author uses the design thinking method for data collection and data analysis through the 5W+1H method (what, why, who, where, why, how), thereby producing an idea that can be applied at the design stage as a problem solving plan that faced. The main aim of this design is to create a branding design for the Sedulang Setudung dance so that it will be popular again with the younger generation. The designs created produce works that are categorized into three media, namely issue media including posters, x-banners, main media in the form of promotional videos, and supporting media including t-shirts, tote bags, stickers, hats, pencil pouches, key chains. and tumblers. The application of this media uses illustrations of dancers, rampai talang batik and other supporting elements. It is hoped that this design can embrace the younger generation. Through this design, it is hoped that it will be able to contribute to introducing and preserving the sedulang setudung dance to the younger generation in South Sumatra.

Abstract

Abstrak : Tanaman (Bidara) yang berpotensi, dijadikan khasiat menyembuhkan untuk penyakit (kulit), bagi remaja perempuan sebagai kecantikan (Yulianto, 2017). Pada perancangan ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan AISAS yang mempunyai 5 tahapan yaitu Attention, Interest, Search, Action, dan Share. Proses pengumpulan data,observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi, data. Perancangan kampanye sosial khasiat daun Bidara untuk kesehatan kulit bagi remaja perempuan usia 14-19 tahun di kota palembang, sebagai media komunikasi visual pada pembahasan perancangan kampanye ini. Perancang bertujuan untuk mengenalkan kepada masyarakat terutama kepada remaja perempuan khasiat daun Bidara yang dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai clay mask Bidara untuk kesehatan kulit wajah. Pada perancangan ini menggunakan media-media seperti, motion graphics, poster, x-banner, brosur, feed instagram, totebag, cermin, gantungan kunci, t-shirt, packaing clay mask, pouch.

Abstract

Visual Campaign for Typical Palembang Food Made from Fish is the right step because the author wants to introduce and preserve Palembang's Typical Food Made from Fish to Generation Z. The main problem faced is that the existence of Palembang Typical Food is starting to be eroded by the influence of international foods such as western Korean food and dishes are starting to be forgotten by the younger generation, especially Generation Z. The main aim of this design is to introduce the heritage of Palembang City's Typical Food to Generation Z as part of Indonesia's cultural richness which needs to be preserved and created through motion. graphics as a problem solving step. The expected achievement and target of this design is that typical Palembang food made from fish is better known to generation Z and continues to exist amidst the development of various types of food products circulating in the current era of globalization.

Abstract

Purun crafts have a number of unique qualities as cultural heritage with the main ingredient being purun. The purun raw material processing system is able to give a natural and ecological impression to each craft. Traditional designs with distinctive woven patterns reflect cultural identity and local values as well as natural colors without additional coloring highlighting the natural beauty of the purun plant itself, environmentally friendly manufacturing processes without negative impacts on the environment and innovation in design presenting products that remain relevant to the world. modern market. As consumer trends and preferences change, purun products may experience a lack of innovation in design or function. This branding aims to reintroduce and maintain the cultural value of Purun crafts in Palembang City, especially for those aged 17 - 26 years, so that they can restore the functional value of Purun crafts from economic, fashion and cultural aspects, as well as involving them actively through social media, and Integrating modern technology can be effective steps to introduce and popularize purun crafts among the younger generation. Abstract: Time with family is hard to come by if parents are busy working, making parents pay less attention to the importance of inviting their children to play games. Parents should set aside some of their time to get together and play games together. There are many benefits from playing with children, one of which is that the relationship between parents and children will be closer and they can learn to work together. The more time you spend with your family, the stronger the bonds that are formed to get to know each other's characters, and can train children's abilities. One medium that can increase harmony in the family is a board game. Board Game is a type of game in which one of the components is a square sheet like a board whose materials can vary, but generally made of thick cardboard, such as Monopoly, Chess, Ludo and Snakes and Ladders. Board Game is a game that is suitable to be played with all family members, and can help improve family harmony. The design of the Board Game that will be designed is a Board Game that can be played with family members which aims to increase harmony in the family by giving punishments for each card that the player members get when playing the Board Game. Abstract

Hypertension is a condition where blood pressure increases in the body, a person is declared hypertensive if the blood pressure is above 120/80mmHg. Factors that cause hypertension are unhealthy eating patterns and bad lifestyle habits. Most teenagers have bad lifestyle habits and eating patterns, such as smoking, alcohol consumption, excess caffeine and salt, making them susceptible to hypertension. One fruit that contains potassium which is good for preventing hypertension is the Yellow Ambon Banana. The main problem in this design is the lack of knowledge among teenagers regarding the benefits of consuming yellow Ambon bananas which can prevent hypertension. The main aim of this design is to provide important information about hypertension which can be prevented by consuming yellow Ambon bananas for the target audience, namely teenagers 17-25 years. In the media design process, the method used is design thinking which consists of 5 stages, namely Empathize, Define, Ideate, Prototype, and Test. The main media used are the Game Board and Tensimeter. Through this design, it is hoped that teenagers will be able to find out information related to preventing hypertension with yellow Ambon bananas and can prevent the occurrence of hypertension from adolescence

Abstract

Moringa leaves (Moringa oleifera) are very well known as a rich source of nutrition and are beneficial for children's health. These leaves contain lots of protein, vitamins, minerals and antioxidants which are important for optimal growth and development. The main benefits of moringa leaves include improving the immune system, reducing the risk of nutritional deficiencies, and support for digestive health. The main problem is that many people are not aware of the potential health benefits of Moringa leaves, which results in low consumption and utilization of this plant. The problem solving plan carried out is with the right communication approach. The benefits of Moringa leaves are very important. One effective strategy is through board games. The main aim is to provide education to parents who have an important role in integrating Moringa leaves into their daily diet as well as educating children about the importance of good nutrition. Through this board game, people can learn about the benefits of Moringa leaves directly, from their nutritional content to how to use them in everyday life.

Abstract

A logo as a visual identity contains design elements as symbols to represent the values, goals and characteristics of the entity being represented. The thing behind the interest of the author of this research is the use of the word "Nyenyes" in the logo being studied. The main problem raised in this research is the design principles of the Nyeyes Palembang logo, viewed from functional and aesthetic aspects. The problem solving plan begins by using qualitative research methods with a measurable and systematic analysis process, starting from the logo description stage, logo analysis by looking at relationships and relevance, as well as function and aesthetic studies based on design principles such as simplicity, timeless, balance, proportional and relevant. Thus, the results of the research can be seen from the visual appearance of the Nyenyes Palembang logo which has implemented design principles as a whole, so that the effectiveness and efficiency values of the logo are very visible and have relevance to the culture of the people of Palembang city. The results of the analysis are strengthened by questionnaire data that the author collected, from a total of 50 correspondences, more than 70% stated that the Nyenyes Palembang logo as a visual identity was attractive, effective and efficient in conveying messages to the target audience.
