Abstract

Fenomena game streaming di Indonesia, terutama melalui platform YouTube, memiliki segmentasi penggemar besar dengan tokoh kreator seperti Jess No Limit dan Frost Diamond yang memiliki jutaan pengikut. Para kreator ini sering menggunakan bahasa santai yang cenderung melanggar prinsip kesantunan berbahasa. Namun, ketidaksantunan ini diterima oleh audiens mereka sebagai bagian dari hiburan. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji bentuk-bentuk ketidaksantunan dalam tuturan para game streamer yang justru menjadi teknik komunikasi yang berterima dalam komunitas online. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan analisis pragmatik. Adapun sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah tuturan pada video streaming dari Jess No Limit dan Frost Diamond. Analisis data dilakukan dengan merujuk pada 10 prinsip kesantunan Leech untuk mengidentifikasi pelanggaran terhadap prinsip-prinsip kesantunan dalam komunikasi. Hasil penelitian menuunjukkan bahwa dalam konten game streaming di YouTube, ketidaksantunan yang melanggar prinsip kesantunan diterima sebagai bagian dari hiburan dan interaksi sosial yang membangun kedekatan antara kreator dan audiens. Penerimaan ini terjadi karena adanya kesepakatan sosial dalam komunitas game yang menganggap bahasa kasar, umpatan, panggilan kasar, dan ejekan sebagai humor. Meskipun demikian, kreator perlu bijak dalam menggunakan ketidaksantunan untuk menjaga keharmonisan komunikasi dan meminimalkan dampak negatif terhadap hubungan sosial.

Abstract

The function of a good language laboratory is if the language laboratory is able to assist teachers in evaluating their students' learning effectively, not only partially, but significantly. This study aims to determine the use of the language laboratory in learning maharah istima' as well as the supporting and inhibiting factors in the use of the language laboratory at Senior High School of Batu. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive type. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews and documentation. The results of the study indicate that the use of the language laboratory as a medium is one of the methods used by teachers to provide direct experience in the maharah istima' learning process. Therefore, the use of the language laboratory at Senior High School of Batu has functioned as it should. The supporting factors in the use of the language laboratory at Senior High School of Batu are resources, learning environment and teaching creativity. Meanwhile, the factors that cause the ineffective use of the language laboratory at Senior High School of Batu are the lack of training and skills for laboratory managers, the lack of competent laboratory technicians, and the lack of teacher knowledge about the use of laboratories.الكلمات الأساسية: استفادة، معمل اللغة، مهارة الاستماع.

Abstract

This study investigates the application of postmodern aesthetic idioms in literary works, with a focus on the poetry collection “Hompimpa Alaium Gambreng” by Hamzah Muhammad. The research employs the theoretical framework of postmodernism as proposed by Wijayati and literary postmodernism as articulated by Endraswara. Utilizing a qualitative descriptive method, data were collected through observation and note-taking techniques and analyzed descriptively. The findings indicate that all five idioms of postmodern aesthetics are manifested in the poems. These idioms contribute to the creation of poetry that engages more directly with social realities through a light and accessible narrative style. By subverting conventional literary norms, this approach enables broader imaginative expression and offers an alternative medium for representing social realities. Consequently, the work becomes more inclusive and accessible to a wider audience across various social backgrounds.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan mengklasifikasikan gaya bahasa metafora dan hiperbola dalam novel Hello karya Tere Liye. Artikel ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik analisis, berfokus pada ungkapan-ungkapan metafora dan hiperbola yang terdapat dalam teks novel. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data simak dan catat. Data gaya bahasa metafora dianalisis menggunakan teori parera yang terdiri dari empat jenis yaitu metafora antropomorfik, metafora hewan, metafora abstrak ke konkret, dan metafora sinestesia. Sedangkan gaya bahasa hiperbola dianalisis menggunakan teori Claridge yang terdiri dari tujuh macam yaitu hiperbola kata, hiperbola frasa, hiperbola klausa, hiperbola numerik, hiperbola peranan superlative, hiperbola perbandingan, dan hiperbola repitisi. Teknik analisis data penelitian ini terdapat tiga tahap yaitu pengumpulan data, penyajian data, dan pemeriksaan kesimpulan. Hasil Penelitian ini terdapat jenis gaya bahasa metafora yang dominan dalam novel Hello karya Tere Liye yaitu gaya bahasa metafora abstrak ke konkret dan jenis gaya bahasa metafora yang minimum yaitu metafora hewan. Sedangkan jenis gaya bahasa hiperbola yang dominan dalam novel Hello karya Tere Liye yaitu hiperbola perbandingan dan gaya bahasa hipebola yang minimum yaitu hiperbola numerik. Secara keseluruhan, gaya bahasa metafora dan hiperbola dalam novel Hello karya Tere Liye berhasil memperkuat karakter tokoh, membentuk emosi, dan menyampaikan nilai-nilai kehidupan.

Abstract

Learning Arabic speaking skills is very important in learning a foreign language because language is a communication tool. However, students experience difficulties in developing Arabic speaking skills. This is due to the lack of student motivation and practice in speaking Arabic. So a project-based learning strategy is used to overcome this problem. This learning process can make students more active and creative in learning to speak Arabic. This research was conducted to describe project-based learning strategies in speaking skills in the Arabic language learning process for class X MAN Batu City students. This research method uses descriptive qualitative, namely describing the data obtained. The data sources in this research are teachers and students of class X MAN Batu City. The data analysis technique used in this research describes the results of observations, interviews, student product results and student responses to the learning process. The findings of this research are that the project-based learning process for class X students' speaking skills at MAN Batu City can stimulate motivation and enthusiasm for learning. In conclusion, project-based learning aims to solve problems and teach students to think critically in the product completion process. The steps that teachers can use in the project-based learning process are: 1) determine the basic problem, 2) create a project plan, 3) work on the project, 4) present the product results, 5) assess, and 6) evaluate. The product results are used as a student portfolio to determine their learning progress. This learning strategy can be practiced by teachers in the process of learning Arabic or other foreign languages.

Abstract

The urgent need for Arabic grammar (nahwu) teaching materials that stimulate Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) motivates this study. Previous studies have focused on fundamental cognitive aspects without systematically integrating HOTS into student worksheets (LKS), creating a significant gap, especially for Islamic boarding schools. This research and development (R&D) study used the ADDIE model. Data were collected through classroom observations, interviews, and questionnaires at Al-Umm Malang Islamic Boarding School. Qualitative and quantitative data analysis were employed, and product validation involved subject matter and media experts. The developed HOTS-based student worksheet for "al-Nahwu al-Wadih" received excellent validation scores: 93.3% from content/language experts and 83% from media experts. A paired t-test showed a significant improvement in student learning outcomes (Sig. 0.000 < 0.05), confirming the product's effectiveness. The HOTS-based worksheet is valid, practical, and effective in improving students' understanding of Arabic grammar and critical thinking skills, offering an innovative solution to enhance nahwu learning. الدافع لهذه الدراسة هو الحاجة الملحة لمواد تعليم النحو العربي القادرة على تحفيز مهارات التفكير العليا. ركزت الدراسات السابقة على الجوانب المعرفية الأساسية دون دمج منهجية مهارات التفكير العليا في أوراق عمل الطلاب، مما خلق فجوة بحثية، خاصة في بيئة المعاهد الداخلية. استخدم هذا البحث منهج البحث والتطوير بنموذج ADDIE. تم جمع البيانات من خلال الملاحظات الصفية والمقابلات والاستبيانات في معهد الأم مالانج. استخدم تحليل البيانات النوعي والكمي، وشارك في التحقق من المنتج خبراء في المادة ووسائل الإعلام.  حصلت كراسة التدريبات المطورة القائمة على مهارات التفكير العليا لكتاب "النحو الواضح" على تقييم ممتاز: 93.3% من خبراء المحتوى واللغة و83% من خبراء التصميم. أظهر اختبار ت الزوجي تحسنا ذا دلالة إحصائية في نتائج تعلم الطالبات (0.000 < 0.05 Sig.)، مما يؤكد فعالية المنتج. كراسة التدريبات القائمة على مهارات التفكير العليا صالحة وعملية وفعالة في تحسين فهم قواعد اللغة العربية ومهارات التفكير النقدي لدى الطالبات، مما تقدم حلاً مبتكرًا لتعزيز تعلم النحو.

Abstract

Perundungan saat ini menjadi masalah serius karena dapat berdampak buruk pada kesejahteraan psikologis dan fisik korban, terutama yang masih duduk di bangku sekolah. Dalam era digital dan konektivitas yang tinggi, media massa online memiliki peran yang signifikan dalam membentuk opini publik dan persepsi terhadap perundungan siswa. Akan tetapi, ada kekhawatiran bahwa pemberitaan media online mungkin tidak netral dan dapat menciptakan bias atau stereotip. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkapkan bagaimana fenomena perundungan siswa di sekolah direpresentasikan dalam headline berita yang ditemukan dalam media massa online di Indonesia. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan jenis penelitian Analisis Wacana Kritis. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa analisis konten yang berasal judul-judul berita perundungan siswa dari berbagai sumber media online. Klasifikasi data diambil berdasarkan tema dan isu berita, sedangkan analisis data menggunakan teori Analisis Wacana Kritis (AWK) model Roger Fowler. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Analisis wacana kritis Model Roger Fowler terhadap headline berita perundungan siswa di media massa online Indonesia menemukan bahwa pemilihan kosakata, tata bahasa, transformasi fokus, dan representasi secara kolektif membentuk narasi yang memengaruhi pandangan dan respons masyarakat terhadap isu perundungan.

Abstract

_______Abstract: This analysis is a form of research activity that aims to re-examine a data or actual situation in the hope of increasing understanding and encouraging educators' decision making to understand several areas of psychological foundation before carrying out the learning process. The focus this time is the relationship between the psychological foundation as well as its principles in learning and the relationship between the four Arabic language skills. This research seeks to understand and present from the most specific points to the most specific in the existing theme. The approach used this time is a descriptive-qualitative-based approach using the Document studies and content analysis methods. The results of this study will later provide an overview of the material and content related to how the relationship between the principles of a theory and the psychological foundation of each person with four Arabic language skills in the present and the future.

Abstract

Pandemi covid 19 masuk ke Indonesia dan menjadi perhatian khusus pada Maret 2019. Berita tentang pademi covid 19 menjadi ramai diperbincangkan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gaya bahasa sindiran pada media online mengenai pandemi Covid-19 yang ditulis penulis beritanya. Media online merupakan salah satu media untuk memenuhi kebutuhan informasi khalayak yang dapat diakses kapanpun dan dimanapun. Penelitian ini berupaya untuk menemukan ujaran-ujaran kebencian masyarakat dari kasus pandemik Covid 19 saat ini. Sejauh mana masyarakat melihat atau memandang kasus ini melalui ujaran-ujarannya pada kolom komentar akun instagram detik.com dan kompas.com. Metode penelitian yang digunakan peneliti adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan metode ini dapat digunakan sebagai acuan analisa ujaran-ujaran kebencian di media online. Sumber data dari penelitian ini yaitu berupa komentar artikel dari pemberitaan di media online  akun instagram detik.com dan kompas.com yang diperoleh selama 2 bulan. Data dianalisis secara komparatif dengan pendekatan struktural bersifat deskriptif khususnya dalam hal proses-proses klasifikasi data. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah analisis dokumen, simak dan catat. Dari hasil penelitian yang dilakukan kolom komentar pada akun instagram detik.com dan kompas.com, komentar yang diberikan termasuk ke dalam gaya bahasa sindiran dan halu. Komentar yang dituliskan tidak berupa komentar positif yang berisikan tentang diskusi suatu masalah untuk mencapai suatu pemecahan.Kata Kunci: gaya Bahasa, Bahasa sindiran, Media online

Abstract

The millennial era and the times have made language change. Not only language but even ethics, manners, and habits change. Indonesians are more interested in films, YouTube, and social media. The existence of Si Bolang shows that highlighting children's activities in the area can be a way to preserve the language. These shows often use regional languages during the dialogue between the character Si Bolang and the local children. In this study, he wanted to know about the revitalization of extinct languages in the 2019 Si Bolang program for language preservation. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. In the research, watching Si Bolang shows in 2019 by selecting 3 shows, then looking for the revitalization of the extinct languages contained in these shows. The results showed that the Si Bolang version shows "Serdadu Kecil Kampung Nelayan Cipanon", "Riang Akur Bocah Selur", and "Penjaga Alam Tanah Jawa". In these shows, language revitalization is becoming extinct or displaced due to the times and the millennial era. The first broadcast used the Sundanese regional language in as much as 40% of all shows due to the dominant language, namely Standard Indonesian. The second and third shows used the Javanese regional language, as much as 60% of all impressions. Because the dialogue used mainly uses the Javanese regional language. The language of instruction or explanation of Si Bolang's activities uses standard Indonesian. This revitalization is essential to be collected and then preserved. The results of this study are helpful for the whole community so that they are more familiar with the diversity of regional languages that are starting to be forgotten or not applied to everyday life. This film contains education and cultural preservation elements, so it needs to be a suggestion for other films to elevate Indonesian culture. With shows or films, it is easier for the audience to understand and more accessible to get the film's meaning. So that it will grow in the community to preserve the existing culture in Indonesia, researchers suggest that various parties can create media to provide impressions that can preserve local languages and introduce culture to the audience.
