Abstract

Kecamatan Baula, Kabupaten Kolaka, merupakan salah satu wilayah dengan risiko tinggi terhadap bencana gempa bumi dan tsunami. Dalam dua tahun terakhir, yakni tahun 2023 dan 2024, wilayah ini mengalami beberapa kejadian gempa bumi.  Kejadian ini menunjukkan pentingnya upaya peningkatan kesadaran dan kesiapsiagaan masyarakat, khususnya anak-anak usia sekolah dasar, yang termasuk kelompok rentan dalam menghadapi bencana. Anak-anak usia sekolah dasar memerlukan perhatian khusus dalam meningkatkan kesiapsiagaan mereka menghadapi bencana. Oleh karena itu, dilakukan kegiatan sosialisasi sebagai bentuk edukasi bencana. Kegiatan sosialisasi dan simulasi mitigasi bencana gempa bumi ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pengetahuan dan keterampilan praktis kepada siswa kelas 5 dan 6 SD Negeri 1 Pewutaa, yang berjumlah 55 orang. Kegiatan dilaksanakan selama dua hari dengan menggunakan metode interaktif, seperti presentasi multimedia, diskusi kelompok, dan simulasi praktik. Tahapan pelaksanaan meliputi persiapan, pemaparan materi, simulasi, dan evaluasi akhir. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa 85% siswa mampu memahami dan mempraktikkan langkah-langkah mitigasi dengan baik. Namun, masih terdapat beberapa siswa yang memerlukan bimbingan tambahan. Program ini dinilai efektif dalam meningkatkan kesiapsiagaan siswa terhadap bencana, meskipun diperlukan pelaksanaan rutin untuk hasil yang lebih optimal. Kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat menjadi model edukasi bencana yang berkelanjutan dan mampu menciptakan generasi muda yang tangguh serta masyarakat sekolah yang lebih siap menghadapi risiko bencana di masa mendatang.

Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to investigate vulnerability assessments along the coastal area and small island of Kolaka Regency, Southeast Sulawesi, Indonesia. This paper used spatial analysis to estimate the Coastal Vulnerability Index (CVI). An assessment of CVI was carried out using eight parameters to build into five categories, with very low to very high category vulnerability. Coastal vulnerability in the Kolaka coastal area varies from a very low to a very high category. Hence, this study suggests that policymakers need to make a long-term plan for local coastal zones, and they should prioritize a precision disaster-based analysis to minimize the damage caused by the disaster in the future.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh ukuran perusahaan dan struktur modal terhadap kinerja keuangan perusahaan manufaktur sub sektor industri barang konsumsi yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) periode 2017 sampai dengan 2021. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kuantitatif dengan menggunakan hubungan kausal. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan studi pustaka dan dokumentasi. Sumber data berasal dari data sekunder yang diperoleh dari laporan keuangan perusahaan manufaktur sub sektor barang konsumsi yang telah dipublikasikan. Jenis data yang digunakan adalah data kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian adalah seluruh perusahaan manufaktur sub sektor barang konsumsi. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan purposive sampling sehingga diperoleh sampel penelitian sebanyak 13 (tiga belas) perusahaan manufaktur sub sektor industri barang konsumsi dengan tahun penelitian selama 5 (lima) tahun sehingga total sampel yang digunakan sebanyak  65 (enam puluh lima) sampel. Metode analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah analisis regresi linier berganda dengan menggunakan alat analisis SPSS untuk mengolah data sekunder dari publikasi laporan keuangan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan ukuran perusahaan secara parsial berpengaruh negatif signifikan terhadap kinerja keuangan dan ukuran perusahaan secara parsial berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap kinerja keuangan perusahaan manufaktur sub sektor industri barang dan konsumsi yang terdaftar di BEI periode 2017 sampai dengan 2021.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the implementation of character education in Arabic language learning at MIM Al-Qomariyah Klego. Character education focuses on strengthening moral and ethical values relevant to daily life. In the context of religious education, character development is an integral part of learning, including Arabic language instruction, which teaches Islamic values. This qualitative case study employs observation, interviews, and documentation to explore character education implementation. The results show that character education integration, active-participatory learning methods, and supportive media characterize Arabic language learning at MIM Al-Qomariyah Klego. Supporting factors include teacher commitment and conducive classroom management, while challenges include limited resources and time constraints. This study informs strategies to enhance character education quality in madrasahs.

Abstract

Sulawesi is an area prone to earthquakes. This is because the Sulawesi region is flanked by three main plates, namely the Pacific Ocean plate moving westward, the Australian Continental Plate moving northward, and the Eurasian Plate moving south-southeast. This situation causes a high level of seismicity in the Sulawesi region. The Sulawesi region has a fairly complex tectonic setting so that the activity of earthquakes in the Sulawesi region is also interesting to study. The level of seismicity depends on the degree of fragility of the rock (b-value) and the distribution of earthquakes in the region. This research was conducted to determine the b-value of earthquakes in the North Sulawesi region. The method used for this research is the Gutenberg-Richter method based on the Maximum Likelihood estimation. Maximum Likelihood Estimation is a method used to statistically calculate earthquake activity parameters. The software used are ArcGIS and Microsoft Excel. The research was conducted in North Sulawesi with coordinates 118° East - 125° East 1° North Latitude - 6° South Latitude. The data used is earthquake catalog data obtained from BMKG with earthquake data for a period of 10 years (2012-2021). Based on the results of the analysis of the distribution of seismicity based on magnitude, it is more towards the Sulawesi Sea and the distribution of seismicity based on depth is shallow. The result of calculating the b-value is 0.3537 and the a-value is 3.0932. It can be concluded that the North Sulawesi region has a fairly large chance of an earthquake occurring

Abstract

The coastal area of Ternate Island has a high potential for tsunami disasters and complex tectonics. The tsunami on Ternate Island was triggered by an earthquake in the Maluku Sea and the eruption of Mount Gamalama under the sea. The rapid development of Ternate, especially in the tourism sector, such as Loto Agrotourism Village, West Ternate, demands attention to the safety of visitors and residents. The main problem in Loto Village is the lack of evacuation routes, so an effective evacuation strategy is needed to minimize losses during a tsunami disaster. This study aims to determine evacuation routes using UAV data and participatory mapping in Loto Village, Ternate City. UAV aerial photos were processed using photogrammetry techniques with Agisoft Metashape Professional software, producing Ortho-Mosaic Maps and Digital Elevation Model (DEM), which were analyzed in QGIS software. The ortho-mosaic map was overlaid with a tsunami hazard map to create temporary evacuation routes and points (TES), which were confirmed through participatory mapping. The Final Map shows four TESs, which are accessible via footpaths, side roads, and main roads. In the event of a tsunami, tourists and residents in the Lota Agrotourism area can use this map for evacuation. The map can also be an important reference for the government in forming disaster mitigation policies to ensure the safety of tourist destinations that are vulnerable to tsunamis.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the financial ratio analysis of liquidity, profitability, and solvency at PT. Aneka Gas Industri Tbk. on 2018-2021 period. In this study using comparative causal research. Based on the type of data studied, this research is included in the type of archival research. Archival research is research on written facts (documents) or in the form of data archives. The data used are annual financial reports and annual reports of  PT. Aneka Gas Industri in 2018-2021. Based on the research results prove that the current ratio, debt to equity ratio, debt to asset ratio at PT. Aneka Gas Industri on 2018-2021 period is good, while the quick ratio, return on assets, return on equity at PT. Aneka Gas Industri on 2018-2021period are not good.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze various Arabic language teaching methods used in educational institutions in Indonesia and to identify the strengths and weaknesses of each method. The research employs a descriptive qualitative approach using a literature review method. The findings indicate that there is no single ideal method suitable for all contexts, and a combination of grammar-translation, communicative, and reading-writing (qira’ah-kitabah) methods is considered the most realistic to implement at the elementary and secondary levels. The study also emphasizes the importance of integrating technology into Arabic language learning, such as the use of digital media and Learning Management Systems (LMS), to enhance students’ motivation and learning quality. The results of this research are expected to serve as a reference for developing more effective and adaptive Arabic language curricula and teaching methods in Indonesia that meet the needs of students in the digital era.

Abstract

Sebagai kondisi kronis yang prevalensinya tinggi, hipertensi tercatat sebagai penyebab utama kesakitan dan kematian terkait penyakit kardiovaskular. Pengelolaan tekanan darah yang optimal tidak hanya ditentukan oleh terapi medis, melainkan juga sangat bergantung pada kedisiplinan pasien dan peran pendukung dari tenaga keperawatan. Dalam konteks ini, pendekatan caring yang berlandaskan teori Swanson memiliki peran krusial dalam memperkuat hubungan terapeutik serta meningkatkan motivasi kepatuhan berobat pasien. Tujuan: Kajian literatur ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji secara mendalam peran pendekatan caring berdasarkan teori Swanson dalam upaya meningkatkan kepatuhan serta capaian klinis pada pasien hipertensi.: Pencarian literatur dilakukan dengan menggunakan database Google Scholar dan model PICOT. Dari 75 artikel yang teridentifikasi, sebanyak 11 artikel memenuhi syarat kelayakan untuk kemudian dianalisis secara komprehensif, dengan fokus pada variabel intervensi caring, tingkat kepatuhan, dan hasil pengukuran tekanan darah.Hasil: Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa intervensi caring oleh perawat—yang diwujudkan dalam bentuk edukasi kesehatan, dukungan interpersonal, dan pendekatan multifaset—efektif dalam meningkatkan kepatuhan farmakologis dan stabilitas tekanan darah..Kesimpulan: Dapat disimpulkan bahwa integrasi pendekatan caring menurut teori Swanson memberikan kontribusi yang signifikan terhadap perbaikan kepatuhan dan hasil terapi pasien hipertensi. Untuk itu, penelitian lanjutan berupa uji coba terkontrol dengan periode follow-up yang panjang sangat diperlukan guna mengevaluasi efektivitas intervensi ini secara lebih menyeluruh.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Pembelajaran fisika seringkali dihadapkan pada berbagai tantangan, yakni konsep yang abstrak, metode pengajaran yang kurang interaktif dan tidak berorientasi student centered, serta keterbatasan fasilitas laboratorium yang berdampak pada rendahnya hasil belajar dan kurangnya pengembangan keterampilan abad 21 yang krusial di era Society 5.0. Menjawab permasalahan ini, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalsis pengaruh penggunaan simulasi PhET terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar fisika siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Watubangga. Metode penelitian menggunakan desain kuasi-eksperimental dengan pendekatan Nonequivalent Control Group Designs. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari dua kelas yang dipilih secara cluster random sampling, satu sebagai kelompok eksperimen yang menerima pembelajaran fisika menggunakan simulasi PhET, dan satu sebagai kelompok kontrol yang menerima pembelajaran konvensional. Instrumen tes hasil belajar fisika divalidasi secara komprehensif, termasuk validitas isi menggunakan koefisien Aiken's V dan validitas empiris menggunakan model Rasch, serta reliabilitas diukur dengan Cronbach's Alpha. Analisis data menggunakan deskriptif statistic dan analisis inferensial dengan uji-t independen pada skor N-Gain. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan hasil belajar fisika yang signifikan pada kelompok eksperimen dibandingkan dengan kelompok kontrol, yakni hasil deskriptif statistik rerata skor N-Gain kelompok eksperimen 0.38 (kategori sedang) dan uji inferensial diperoleh nilai p < 0.001 dari uji-t independen. Temuan ini menyimpulkan bahwa simulasi PhET merupakan alat yang efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman konsep siswa yang berdampak pada peningkatan hasil belajar fisika, sekaligus menjadi strategi inovatif untuk menjawab tantangan transformasi pembelajaran fisika di era Society 5.0, yakni mempersiapkan siswa dengan keterampilan abad ke-21 yang relevan.   Kata kunci : PhET Simulasi, Hasil Belajar Fisika, Transformasi Pembelajaran, Society 5.0   ABSTRACT Physics learning faces various challenges, including abstract concepts, teaching methods that are insufficiently interactive and not student-centered, and limited laboratory facilities. These issues contribute to low learning outcomes and insufficient development of 21st-century skills that are crucial in the Society 5.0 era. To address these problems, this study aims to analyze the effect of using PhET simulations on improving the physics learning outcomes of 10th-grade students at SMA Negeri 1 Watubangga. This research is quasi-experimental with Nonequivalent Control Group Design approach. The sample consisted of two classes selected through cluster random sampling: one as the experimental group, which received physics instruction using PhET simulations, and one as the control group, which received conventional instruction. The learning outcome test instrument underwent comprehensive validation, including content validity using Aiken’s V and empirical validity through the Rasch model. Reliability was assessed using Cronbach’s Alpha. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and inferential statistics with an independent t-test on normalized gain (N-Gain) scores. The results revealed a statistically significant improvement in the learning outcomes of the experimental group compared to the control group, with an average N-Gain score of 0.38 (categorized as moderate). The inferential analysis yielded a p-value < 0.001 in the independent t-test. These findings suggest that PhET simulations are effective tools for enhancing students’ conceptual understanding that positively impacting physics learning outcomes. Moreover, PhET simulations offer an innovative instructional strategy for transforming physics education in the Society 5.0 era, particularly in preparing students with relevant 21st-century competencies.   Keywords: PhET Simulations, Physics Learning Outcomes, Instructional Transformation, Society 5.0
