Sungai Raya Kepulauan District is located on the coast separately and away from the Bengkayang Capital. The majority of the population including the coastal communities who work as fishermen. The coastal area has great potential but has not been used optimally. As a result, various problems arose, for example, the low level of health in the village, lack of public education because of limited school and lack of community economy further aggravate the situation. Therefore, we need a new concept for the development of coastal areas, namely the "Blue Economy". As for the measures to be implemented in the framework of the completion of the above problems through Community Empowerment Through Driven Development "SKP2" (Health, Fisheries, and Economic) Integrated In Realize "Blue Economy" Coastal Community and Islands Tough and Welfare (TARA), among others: (a) Enhanced Behavior clean and healthy Lifestyle (PHBs), the method which is used to overcome the problems, namely: workshop, health promotion include counseling on health behavior, socialization healthy latrines, clean water supply, sanitation, training of cadres teen idle and cadres posyandu, family formation standby and idle teenagers, socialization of ground use for medicinal plant families, provision of CPTS (Hand washing), and simple clean water filtration; (b) Increasing the entrepreneurial economy of agriculture and fisheries, methods which are used to overcome the problems, namely: the establishment and development of women farmers, making training Aquaponics pool tarp and net cages step, training cultivation and increasing fish production, training of fisheries product processing, training nursery plantation processing, processing of tourist management training, socialization packaging fishery products and plantations. (c) Improving education in an effort to support the government's compulsory education (12 years old), the method that used to overcome the problems, namely: the establishment of "Smart House B2" smart house B2 cadre training, training on making collages, mosaics and montage of simple materials, training methods Morance, cadre training education, and training management "Smart House B2”. Dengue fever si major concern in Pontianak because of the high number of cases. In 2012 to 2014, dengue Ever incidents in Pontianak showed fluctuating trend where in 2012 (IR 23.1), 2013 (IR 17:06), and increased dramatically in 2014 to 57.07 per 100,000 population. Mortality rate (CFR) for dengue fever in 2014 was 2.03% and exceeded national rate. Various efforts have been made by the community to eradicate the mosquito-borne dengue disease. The use of mosquito repellant plant is a cheap and environmentally friendly alternative that allows people to avoid mosquito bites because it does not leave pungent odor and can cause poisoning such as anti-mosquito drugs. Mosquito repellent plants sosialization activities was held in the meeting hall PKK Siantan Tengah Kelurahan, Pontianak on Tuesday, Sept. 8, 2015. The results of questionnaires showed that socialization repellant mosquito plant cultivation wass very interesting and useful knowledge to prevent dengue fever. It was expected to target in particular the PKK cadres can disseminate to the entire community related knowledge, cultivation and application of mosquito repellent plants that has been socialized, the relevant agencies such as health centers and villages in order to always support and promote programs cultivation of plant mosquito is by providing assistance in the form of growing media and soil for the development of medicinal plant seeds center.Key words: socialization, mosquito repelllant plants, dengue fever

Sosialisasi Dan Pelatihan Kader PKK Dalam Peningkatan Ekonomi Masyarakat Melalui Produk Olahan Pisang Iskandar Arfan; Sumiati Sumiati

Untuk membantu peningkatan ekonomi masyarakat dan proses transfer ilmu kepada masyarakat maka dilakukan kegiatan pengabdian dengan pemberian sosialisasi dan pelatihan produk olahan pisang. Adapun tujuan kegiatan adalah pengkaderan kelompok ibu PKK sehingga memiliki ilmu dan keterampilan dalam membuat produk dari olahan pisang. Penerapan pengabdian ini dibagi beberapa kegiatan yakni sosialisasi berbagai jenis produk olahan dari pisang, sosialisasi cara pendaftaran produk ke dinas kesehatan, serta pelatihan pembuatan kripik pisang. Pengambilan data hasil kegiatan meliputi wawancara, observasi, kuesioner, dan dokumentasi. Hasil kegiatan ditemukan bahwa ilmu dan keterampilan masyarakat dalam kelompok kader PKK meningkat setelah diberikan penyuluhan dan pelatihan. Selanjutnya dihasilkan kader ibu PKK yang dapat menciptakan sebuah produk untuk peningkatan ekonomi serta identitas produk kelurahan siantan tengah kecamatan pontianak utara kalimantan barat.
