Abstract

This research is a survey of studies using research type description (explanatory research). The sample used was 100 people respondents from user in library of the State University of Malang. The sample in this study is taken by using the propational method of stratified random sampling in order to balance the sample from each stratum was adequate. The samples were taken on the basis of the proportion of student visits to library of the State University of Malang during the past year i.e., 2014.The results showed that: (1) there is a significant influence in partial dimensions between the quality of service (direct evidence, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy) towards the satisfaction of user is quite good although there is still some respondents who provide answer “less well”. (2) There are significant effects simultaneously between the dimensions of service quality (direct evidence, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy) against user satisfaction. (3) the fact that the direct evidence of the variables (X 1) do not have the greatest influence towards the satisfaction of user (Y) contribute the largest or dominant service quality dimensions (X) which has the greatest influence user satisfaction (Y) is the variable dimensions of empathy (X 5). Followed by the dimension of responsiveness (X 3) and followed by the dimension of the guarantee (X 4) as well as the dimension of reliability (X 2).

Abstract

This article examined the strengthening of Aswaja An-Nahdliyah’s understanding as an effort to anticipate radicalism for Islamic education teacher candidates at the Faculty of Tarbiyah, Sunan Ampel State Islamic University Surabaya. The type of this article was qualitative with a Participatory Action Research approach and the method of extracting initial condition data and coaching related to Aswaja An-Nahdliyah material as an effort to anticipate radicalism for Islamic education teacher candidates in the fifth semester of the Academic Year 2021-2022. The results demonstrated that strengthening Aswaja An-Nahdliyah provides an understanding of the map of radical groups and movements; Aswaja An-Nahdliyah teachings and attitudes teach religious moderation as a basis for anticipating and avoiding radicalism teachings and attitudes; Aswaja An-Nahdliyah’s teachings are full of religious tolerance, which helps to block radicalism. This issue is very important considering that even though Sunan Ampel State Islamic University Surabaya, as an Islamic university, is not free from radical infiltration, strengthening Aswaja is necessary to anticipate this, especially for Islamic education teacher candidates.

Abstract

Islamic education has an important role in forming individuals who are not only intellectually competent but also have good morals and a deep understanding of religion and apply it in their lives. There are several charismatic scholars who have recently gained popularity with their phenomenal thoughts on the concept of Islamic education, and one of them is Ahmad Bahauddin Nursalim. This research aims to describe the concept of Islamic education from Bahauddin Nursalim's perspective and its relevance to modernization. The research method used is descriptive-qualitative, with a library research type. Data was obtained through documentary techniques through online searches and using content analysis and hermeneutics. Ahmad Bahauddin Nursalim emphasized the concept of Islamic education, which is appropriate to the situation of this modern era, in several of his thoughts, which were grouped into three aspects of education, namely: aqidah, worship, and morals. According to him, the modernization of Islamic religious education must have the principle of integrating the treasures of classical knowledge with the development of modern technology, the center of which is love for Allah Swt.

Abstract

Abstract Technological developments in the 21st century present various changes in library management, including information organization activities in libraries. The organization of library information is closely related to the information retrieval process in the library. Limited human resources available, technological developments, the increasing number of collections that must be processed every year are certainly problems that must be faced by the UM Library UPT. In this research, a library study approach was used, which is a type of research that utilizes various library sources related to information organization activities carried out at the UM Library UPT. The problems and challenges of information organization at the UM Library UPT consist of (1) the presence of tools for digital era library materials, (2) determining the subject headings of library materials and their role in the information retrieval process, (3) processing digital collections, (4) the urgency of developing UM Integrated Information System (SIPADU UM), and (5) competency development and additional human resources processing library materials. Keywords: library; library, information organization, SIPADU  AbstrakPerkembangan teknologi di abad 21 menyajikan berbagai perubahan dalam tata kelola perpustakaan, tak terkecuali kegiatan organisasi informasi di perpustakaan. Organisasi informasi perpustakaan sangat erat kaitannya dengan proses temu kembali informasi di perpustakaan. Terbatasnya sumber daya manusia yang tersedia, perkembangan teknologi, bertambah banyaknya koleksi yang harus diolah setiap tahunnya tentu menjadi problematika yang harus dihadapi oleh UPT Perpustakaan UM. Dalam riset ini, digunakan pendekatan studi kepustakaan, yang merupakan jenis penelitian yang memanfaatkan berbagai sumber kepustakaan dikaitkan dengan kegiatan organisasi informasi yang dilaksanakan di UPT Perpustakaan UM. Problematika dan tantangan organisasi informasi pada UPT Perpustakaan UM terdiri atas (1) kehadiran alat bantu bahan pustaka era digital, (2) penentuan tajuk subjek bahan pustaka dan perannya dalam proses temu kembali informasi, (3) pengolahan koleksi digital, (4) urgensi Pengembangan Sistem Informasi Terpadu UM (SIPADU UM), dan (5) pengembangan kompetensi dan penambahan SDM pengolah bahan pustaka. Kata Kunci: perpustakaan, organisasi informasi, SIPADU

Abstract

The rapid development of today's digital world is both a challenge and an opportunity in the world of education, especially in Islamic Religious Education (PAI). New breakthroughs from educators are really needed in strengthening students' learning motivation so that they are always enthusiastic in the learning process. This research aims to examine the application of digital religious literacy as an effort to strengthen PAI and BP learning motivation in class XI students at SMA Negeri 1 Gedangan Sidoarjo. This research is a type of field research using a descriptive qualitative approach. The data collected is the result of observation, interviews and documentation through purposive sampling techniques. The technique used in data analysis goes through three stages, namely data condensation, data presentation and drawing conclusions. This research shows the results that the application of digital religious literacy has significantly strengthened the motivation to learn PAI and BP in class XI students at SMA Negeri 1 Gedangan Sidoarjo. This can be a guide for Islamic religious educators in designing relevant learning according to current developments and preparing students to face future challenges

Abstract

This study discusses the implementation of productive waqf in an effort to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the education system in Madrasah Diniyah. The purpose of the study is to identify and evaluate the implementation of productive waqf in supporting the improvement of education in madrasahs. This research approach implements qualitative with a case study design. Data were obtained through in-depth interviews, observations, and document analysis. The results of the study indicate that productive waqf plays an important role in improving the financial independence of madrasahs, thus contributing to a more optimal allocation of resources for operations, teacher welfare, and improving educational facilities. In addition, the strategic use of waqf funds for technology development and infrastructure improvements has been shown to have a positive impact on improving student academic achievement and increasing teacher professional capacity. This evaluation highlights the importance of efficient resource management and the integration of modern educational technology in improving the overall quality of the education system.

Abstract

Pendidikan memiliki peran yang sangat penting dalam upaya mempersiapkan generasi bangsa dan agama. Pendidikan yang bermutu saat ini merupakan kebutuhan yang sangat penting dalam kehidupan manusia. Maju mundurnya suatu bangsa atau negara sangat tergantung pada pendidikan suatu bangsa tersebut. Madrasah sebagai lembaga pendidikan di Indonesia, merupakan lembaga pendidikan yang berada di bawah naungan Kementerian Agama Indonesia. Saat ini madrasah mampu menunjukan sebagai lembaga pendidikan Islam yang modern bisa dilihat dari tampilan fisik dan akademiknya, madrasah telah memiliki sarana prasarana yang lengkap sebagai pendukung pengembangan keilmuan (proses pembelajaran), tenaga pendidik yang mumpuni sesuai dengan keilmuannya (mapelnya), tenaga kependidikan yang baik serta pendukung lainnya. Madrasah memiliki peran strategis dalam upaya pengembangan dan kemajuan pendidikan di Indonesia, lebih -lebih madrasah merupakan pendidikan Islam sangat dibutuhkan dan menjadi pilihan oleh masyarakat Indonesia.

Abstract

This article examines an-nisa’iyah as a critical epistemological paradigm within Islamic education, offering a framework that advances gender justice, spiritual empowerment, and women’s autonomy. Rooted in a response to persistent patriarchal narratives in some Islamic educational settings, an-nisa’iyah rearticulates the role of women as active moral, intellectual, and social agents. Utilizing literature review and critical discourse analysis, this study investigates how an-nisa’iyah can inform educational reform across curriculum, pedagogy, and praxis—particularly in both formal and non-formal learning environments. The concept encourages an Islamic pedagogy that fosters awareness of rights, capabilities, and ethical responsibilities among female learners. By situating spirituality as integral to liberation, an-nisa’iyah envisions education as a space for nurturing independent, critically conscious Muslim women. The article argues that integrating this paradigm within Islamic educational systems may contribute to more inclusive, justice-oriented, and spiritually grounded learning models—thus reshaping Islamic education into a transformative vehicle for gender equity and social renewal.
