Abstract

The formulation of the problem in this study is whether there is an influence of training and human resource development on employee performance, both partially and simultaneously. The purpose of this study is to determine the influence of training and human resource development on employee performance, both partially and simultaneously. The population of this study was 34 people and the sample in this study was 34 people using saturated sampling. The data source for this study uses primary data, namely sources recorded directly by researchers through questionnaires and interviews regarding problems related to training and human resource development on employee performance. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression. The results of the study indicate that training has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, human resource development has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Training and human resource development has a positive and significant effect on employee performance.

Abstract

Ekonomi kreatif berbasis potensi lokal memiliki peluang besar untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat desa. Di Desa Bandar Labuhan, Kecamatan Tanjung Morawa, Kabupaten Deli Serdang, masyarakat mengembangkan produk eco print daun kelor dan rajutan sebagai usaha ekonomi kreatif. Namun, permasalahan utama yang dihadapi adalah penetapan harga jual yang tidak berbasis pada Harga Pokok Produksi (HPP). Kondisi ini menyebabkan produk sering kali dijual di bawah nilai sebenarnya (undervalue) sehingga keuntungan yang diperoleh sangat terbatas. Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilaksanakan melalui pelatihan dan pendampingan kepada masyarakat. Metode yang digunakan meliputi analisis HPP dengan pendekatan full costing dan variable costing untuk mengidentifikasi seluruh komponen biaya produksi, serta simulasi penetapan harga jual menggunakan strategi cost plus pricing dan value based pricing. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman peserta dalam menghitung HPP secara sistematis, mulai dari biaya bahan baku, tenaga kerja, hingga overhead. Masyarakat juga mampu menentukan harga jual yang lebih wajar dan kompetitif, misalnya produk eco print yang semula dijual terlalu rendah kini ditetapkan sesuai dengan biaya dan nilai tambah produk. Dengan demikian, produk yang dihasilkan tidak hanya lebih bernilai ekonomis, tetapi juga memiliki daya saing yang lebih kuat di pasar. Kesimpulannya, kegiatan ini berhasil mencapai tujuan pemberdayaan, ditandai dengan peningkatan pengetahuan, keterampilan, dan pendapatan masyarakat. Integrasi analisis HPP dan strategi harga jual terbukti efektif dalam memperkuat kapasitas masyarakat desa untuk mengembangkan usaha ekonomi kreatif secara berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh digital marketing terhadap strategi pemasaran serta dampaknya terhadap penerimaan peserta didik baru (PPDB) pada Yayasan Pendidikan Islam Haji Masri Darul Ilmi Murni. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan teknik analisis Partial Least Square (PLS). Populasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu orang tua peserta didik baru pada tahun ajaran yang saat ini dijalani yaitu tahun ajaran 2023-2024 sebanyak 200 orang. Dalam penelitian ini, teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan rumus Slovin dengan metode Purposive Sampling. Jadi, jumlah sampel yang diperlukan adalah 133 responden. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa digital marketing berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap strategi pemasaran, dan strategi pemasaran juga berpengaruh positif serta signifikan terhadap peningkatan jumlah peserta didik baru. Selain itu, digital marketing juga berpengaruh secara tidak langsung terhadap penerimaan peserta didik baru melalui strategi pemasaran sebagai variabel intervening.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of compensation, job satisfaction and work ability partially and simultaneously on the performance of employees work in the Kantor Pelayanan Pajak Pratama Medan Timur. Population of 95 people, and a study sample of 93 people. The data analysis technique used is multiple regression analysis using the IMB Statistics computer program for Product and Service Solution (SPSS) version 24. Based on the analysis results obtained compensation have a positive and significant effect on the performance of employees work of the Kantor Pelayanan Pajak Pratama Medan Timur, this is supported by the results of t count analysis > t-table (2,938 > 1,987) at n = 93 at 95% significance level. Job satisfaction has a not effect on the performance of employees work of the Primary Tax Service Office of Medan Timur, this is supported by an analysis of t count > t-table (2,128 > 1,987) at n = 93 at 95% significance level. Work ability has a effect on the performance of employees work of the Kantor Pelayanan Pajak Pratama Medan Timur, this is supported by an analysis of t count >-table (3,335 > 1,987) at n = 93 with a significant level of 95%.Value of F-count > F table (16,396 > 2,71) This states that together (multiple) there are positive and significant effects of compensation, job satisfaction and work ability on the performance of employees work of employees of the Kantor Pelayanan Pajak Pratama Medan Timur.

Abstract

This community service program aimed to enhance the entrepreneurial capacity of women with disabilities through local product–based ecotourism innovation in North Sumatra, Indonesia. The initiative originated from the limited ability of disabled entrepreneurs to utilize digital marketing strategies, manage simple financial records, and create innovative products that meet tourism market demands. The partners comprised twenty female participants from the Indonesian Women with Disabilities Association (HDWI), representing diverse regions such as Medan, Binjai, Parapat, and Sidikalang, and various business types including rattan crafts, batik, coffee processing, and traditional food production. The implementation methods included needs assessment, interactive training, participatory mentoring, and evaluation through surveys and observations. The results indicated substantial improvements in participants’ knowledge and skills, particularly in packaging innovation, product differentiation, and the use of social media for business promotion. Participants also began to apply basic financial recording and established interregional business networks to expand their market reach. This activity contributed positively to economic independence and social participation among women with disabilities in the ecotourism sector. Nevertheless, the short mentoring duration and limited access to digital technology remained major challenges. The program recommends ongoing mentoring and digital empowerment to ensure broader and sustainable impacts.

Abstract

This research is limited to work motivation and work compensation system, especially about the work targets applied and so is the compensation given by PT. Rajawali Nusindo Medan Branch has not been able to improve work discipline. The formulation of the problem in this study is . Does work motivation and compensation affect the work discipline of employees at PT. Rajawali Nusindo Medan Branch. The purpose of this study is to determine the influence of employee work discipline at PT. Rajawali Nusindo Medan Branch. The population in this study amounted to 57 employees. To determine the sample size that can be representative of the population, this research approach is a quantitative approach. The test method uses SPSS. Based on the results of testing and analysis, it shows that there is a positive and significant influence of work motivation variables on employee performance discipline variables. There is a positive and significant influence of compensation system variables on employee performance discipline variables.

Abstract

Purpose – This study uses the stimulus organism response (SOR) as the theory framework to analyze the sequential mediating roles of brand experience (BE), brand trust (BT), and brand love (BLV) to show the connection between Social Media Marketing (SMM) activities and brand loyalty (BL). Design/methodology/approach – The study approach was empirically evaluated using 310 SM users as data who follow bottled water brands on any platform and have made a purchase. Furthermore, a sequential multiple mediation model was tested using PLS-SEM. Findings – The results indicate that SMM significantly impacts BE, and BE significantly affects BT and BLV. Subsequently, this influence of BT and BLV contributes to an increase in BL. Additionally, it was revealed that BE, BT, and BLV sequentially and significantly mediate the relationship between SMM and BL. Research limitations/implications – Its cross-sectional design, sample bias towards younger, educated respondents, a narrow focus on BL from SMM activities, and a lack of consideration for sustainability and broader product types suggest a need for more diverse and longitudinal future research. Practical implications – The result emphasizes the need for brands to leverage SM as a critical channel for consumer engagement, suggesting the adoption of personalized, entertaining, and interactive digital campaigns to increase through memorable BE. Originality/value – This study pioneers using SOR theory to explore the SMM impact on BL within the bottled water industry, providing novel insights through empirically validating a model that links SMM activities with loyalty via BE, BT, and BLV.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh strategi rekrutmen dan seleksi terhadap kualitas sumber daya manusia (SDM) di PT Wahana Noer Abadi Medan Strategi rekrutmen yang efektif dan proses seleksi yang komprehensif menjadi faktor penting dalam meningkatkan kualitas SDM, terutama bagi pegawai yang bekerja di lingkungan yang dinamis. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan metode wawancara dan observasi untuk menguji hubungan antara variabel independen (strategi rekrutmen dan seleksi) dengan variabel dependen (kualitas SDM). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi rekrutmen berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kualitas SDM pegawai. Sementara itu, proses seleksi juga menunjukkan pengaruh yang signifikan, meskipun perlu dilakukan secara objektif untuk memastikan kesesuaian kandidat dengan kebutuhan perusahaan. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa untuk meningkatkan kualitas SDM, diperlukan strategi rekrutmen yang lebih optimal serta proses seleksi yang transparan dan adil. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi acuan bagi pengambil kebijakan dalam merancang strategi rekrutmen dan seleksi yang lebih efektif guna meningkatkan kualitas dan kinerja pegawai. Saran untuk penelitian selanjutnya juga disampaikan untuk menggali faktor-faktor lain yang mungkin berpengaruh terhadap kualitas SDM secara lebih mendalam.
