Abstract

Katakana is one of the traditional Japanese letters used to absorption words from other languanges. In the inttroduction of an object a learning process is needed, which is obtained through the characteristics and experience of observing similar objects after being acquired. But manually it is quite difficult to distinguish between 5 hiragana vowels starting from the image data acquisition process, image processing, feature extraction using Gray Level Co-occurance Matrix (GLCM) while classifiers use the euclidean distance method. The results of the tests carried out showed an accuracy rate of around 78% using the euclidean method.

Abstract

Learning modern interior design, as an effort to develop students' creativity, requires innovation in the interaction media between students and learning materials. Currently, the use of Augmented Reality (AR) in design education is becoming increasingly relevant and gaining attention as an interactive learning medium. However, several challenges remain, including hardware limitations, a lack of realistic visualization, and the need for a more immersive learning experience. The proposed solution is the utilization of Google Lens as an AR-based platform to access 3D interior design models directly via mobile devices. This approach employs a simple marker-based tracking method, where visual markers or specific objects trigger the visualization of 3D in the real environment. Students can point their smartphone cameras at the marker to access the designs, interact with spatial elements, and better understand the structural and aesthetic concepts of interior spaces. This creates a more immersive, creative, and dynamic learning experience. The results of this study show that the implementation of Google Lens-based AR enhances students' spatial understanding, learning motivation, and engagement in the interior design process. Moreover, it provides an accessible and effective learning tool, opening new opportunities for the development of immersive technology-based learning methods.

Abstract

Kehamilan merupakan salah satu bagian dari 1000 hari pertama kehidupan yang perlu diperhatikan. Pemberikan edukasi perlu dilakukan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman ibu hamil. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan ibu hamil tentang pentingnya gizi seimbang selama kehamilan di Dusun Jeruk Gulung, Kendal, Ngawi. Kegiatan edukasi ini dilakukan dengan pendekatan partisipatif yang melibatkan penyuluhan, diskusi kelompok, dan sesi praktik pengolahan makanan sehat. Partisipan terdiri dari 35 ibu hamil yang aktif berpartisipasi dalam setiap sesi. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa ibu hamil mengalami peningkatan pemahaman mengenai kebutuhan gizi selama kehamilan, seperti asupan protein, zat besi, kalsium, dan asam folat. Diskusi kelompok memberikan kesempatan bagi ibu hamil untuk berbagi pengalaman dan mengatasi tantangan terkait aksesibilitas bahan makanan sehat. Sesi praktik pengolahan makanan sehat juga berhasil meningkatkan keterampilan ibu hamil dalam menyiapkan makanan bergizi dengan bahan lokal yang mudah didapatkan. Meskipun tidak dilakukan pre-test dan post-test, observasi langsung dan umpan balik peserta menunjukkan adanya perubahan positif dalam pengetahuan dan penerapan gizi seimbang. Kegiatan ini juga menyoroti tantangan terkait dengan keterbatasan akses terhadap bahan makanan sehat dan pentingnya melibatkan ahli gizi dalam proses edukasi. Kesimpulannya, kegiatan edukasi gizi seimbang ini berhasil meningkatkan pengetahuan ibu hamil mengenai pola makan sehat dan dapat dijadikan model untuk program pengabdian masyarakat di daerah terpencil.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dilaksanakan di MAN 3 Pekanbaru dengan tujuan meningkatkan pengetahuan siswa mengenai bentuk sediaan obat yang tidak membatalkan puasa. Isu yang melatarbelakangi kegiatan ini adalah masih rendahnya pemahaman masyarakat, khususnya remaja, terhadap jenis obat yang aman digunakan selama Ramadan sehingga berpotensi menurunkan kepatuhan pengobatan. Metode yang digunakan adalah penyuluhan kesehatan melalui media brosur dan presentasi serta pemberian kuesioner pre-test dan post-test untuk mengukur tingkat pemahaman siswa. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pengetahuan yang signifikan, ditandai dengan kenaikan kategori pengetahuan baik dari 47,06% pada pre-test menjadi 94,12% pada post-test dengan uji Wilcoxon menunjukkan nilai p=0,000 (p<0,05). Hal ini membuktikan bahwa edukasi kesehatan melalui media cetak dan presentasi efektif dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan siswa mengenai sediaan obat yang diperbolehkan saat berpuasa.

Abstract

Salah satu kewenangan penyidik dalam Pasal 7 ayat (1) huruf f KUHAP yaitu mengambil sidik jari. Penggunaan teknik ini membantu penyidik dalam mengidentifikasi sidik jari sebagai petunjuk dalam menetapkan pelaku tindak pidana, terutama dalam kasus pembunuhan. Hal ini ditemukan pada laporan polisi nomor: LP/26/V/2019/SPKT/Sek Lubeg, dimana terdapat peristiwa korban meninggal dunia dengan bekas luka. Dari hasil olah tempat kejadian perkara, penyidik memberikan kesimpulan bahwa korban telah dibunuh. Sehingga penyidik menggunakan teknik dastilokopi guna menemukan identitas tersangka.

Abstract

Preschool teachers expect to enhance students' intellectual abilities by implementing brain-based learning stimulation in children. However, numerous preschool teachers remain uninformed about the brain's functioning in children. This study aims to establish a neuroscience-based learning model inside early childhood education institution. The study is applied to the 4D development paradigm, which comprises four stages: defining, designing, developing, and disseminating. The study involved 30 kindergarten/RA instructors in Parepare City, selected by purposive sampling, ensuring that the participants had not previously received training related to neuroscience. The data collection procedures employed included observation, interviews, needs analysis, questionnaires, and both pretests and posttests. Qualitative data analysis techniques are descriptive methodologies, whereas quantitative data analysis encompasses expert validation, teacher response surveys, and effectiveness assessments. This project develops a neuroscience-based learning model presented in a guide package as a validated teaching module. After providing content derived from the developed modules, the results indicated an enhancement in participants' scores. The neuroscience learning approach effectively enhances the knowledge of Islamic kindergarten educators. The findings of this study can serve as suggestions for educators and policymakers to improve and elevate the quality of learning in early childhood education.

Abstract

Obesity among children and adolescents has become a serious global health problem. This is demonstrated by WHO data with child and adolescent obesity rates in Southeast Asia increasing with the prevalence of obesity ranging from 31% in Southeast Asia. This study aims to explore current scientific evidence that can inform the formulation of more effective adolescent obesity prevention and intervention strategies in the region. Between 2020-2024, searches were sourced from Google Scholar and Pubmed, using Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-analyses (PRISMA) with exclusion criteria, and 8 relevant articles were obtained for analysis. The results showed that the increasing prevalence of adolescent obesity in Southeast Asia is evidenced by several contributing factors including, lack of physical activity due to gadgets, parental roles, poor diet, and family and socioeconomic environments that limit access to health. It was concluded that the lack of physical activity due to gadgets, the role of parents, poor diet, family’s role and socio-economic environment that limits access to health are factors that cause adolescent obesity. Integrated efforts need to be made through nutrition and physical activity education since school age, empowering the role of parents in shaping healthy eating patterns at home, and providing facilities that encourage active lifestyles.
