Abstract

Abstract Breastfeeding is the process of giving breast milk which is very beneficial for the growth and development of babies, especially the first yellowish breast milk (colostrum). Colostrum is the first milk that comes out and is yellowish, usually coming out on the first day to the seventh day. Colostrum contains immune substances to protect babies from infectious diseases, such as upper respiratory tract infections, diarrhea, and other infectious diseases. To determine the relationship between knowledge of breastfeeding mothers and the provision of colostrum in the work area of Pasundan Health Center Samarinda. This type of research is a type of quantitative descriptive research that uses a cross sectional design. The population is all breastfeeding mothers 0-3 months in the work area of Pasundan Health Center Samarinda. The sample is 38 respondents based on total sampling. Data collection uses primary and secondary data. Analysis technique with Sperman rank. The results of statistical research using the Spearman Rank test showed that p = 0.000 (p < 0.05). The Correlation Coefficient value obtained is 0.893 so that it can be said that the close relationship between the two variables is very strong and has a positive correlation direction. There is a relationship between knowledge of breastfeeding mothers on colostrum administration in the work area of Pasundan Health Center Samarinda. Abstrak Menyusui adalah proses pemberian Air Susu Ibu yang sangat bermanfaat bagi pertumbuhan dan perkembangan bayi khususnya pemberian ASI pertama yang berwarna kekuningan (kolostrum). Kolostrum merupakan ASI yang pertama kali keluar dan berwarna kekuningan, biasanya keluar pada hari pertama sampai hari ketujuh. Kolostrum mengandung zat kekebalan tubuh untuk melindungi bayi dari penyakit infeksi, seperti infeksi saluran pernafasan atas, diare, dan penyakit infeksi lainnya. Mengetahui hubungan pengetahuan ibu menyusui terhadap pemberian kolostrum di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Pasundan Samarinda. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif yang menggunakan rancangan Cross Sectional. Populasi yaitu seluruh ibu menyusui 0-3 bulan di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Pasundan Samarinda. Sampel berjumlah 38 responden berdasarkan total sampling. Pengumpulan data menggunakan data primer dan sekunder. Tekhnik analisis dengan Sperman rank. Hasil penelitian statistik menggunakan uji Spearman Rank didapatkan bahwa p = 0.000 (p< 0,05). Diperoleh nilai Correlation Coefficient sebesar 0,893 sehingga dapat dikatakan keeratan hubungan antara kedua variabel tersebut ialah sangat kuat dan memiliki arah korelasi bernilai positif . Terdapat hubungan pengetahuan ibu menyusui terhadap pemberian kolostrum di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Pasundan Samarinda Kata kunci : Pengetahuan, Ibu Menyusui, Kolostrum

Abstract

Moringa is a type of food that is very useful and contains many nutrients, both macronutrients and micronutrients that have been widely used in dealing with malnutrition especially in pregnant women and can improve the immune system. In developing countries Ice cream is the most popular food and is very popular with all circles of society because it tastes very good and, soft texture and contains substances nutrition and can be one of the media in improving nutrition. To determine the acceptability and analysis of the Fe content of ice cream with the addition of Moringa leaves. This type of research is experimental with pre test and post test group designs, which are given adding Moringa leaves to the manufacture of ice cream with some concentration. Research on texture, as well as aspects of taste and value weighting results, the best formulation of ice cream with the addition of Moringa leaves is F1 compared to F2, F3, and F4, namely with a value of F1 60, F2 46.06, F3 42.01, F4 33.29, although when compared to F0 (ice cream krontrol) the value is lower at 54.65. Results of Iron (fe) analysis Ice cream with the addition of Moringa leaves increased from 3.3% to 4.1% This happened after the addition of 30 grams of Moringa leaves. From the results of the acceptability research on aspects of color, aroma, texture, and taste, the best formulation of ice cream with the addition of 30 gr Moringa leaves is F1 compared to F2, F3, and F4, namely with a value of F1 52.86, F2 42.86, F3 42.01, F4 33.29, although when compared to F0 (ice cream control) the value is lower at 54.65. There is an increase in Iron (Fe) content in ice cream with the addition of 30 g Moringa leaves which is 0.0888 g, compared to without the addition of Moringa leaves or 0 g which is 0.0686 g.

Abstract

It is known that the Samboja Community Health Center has exclusive breastfeeding coverage in 2020 of (62.44%), in 2021 it has decreased to (46.24%), even though the exclusive breastfeeding coverage target at the Samboja Community Health Center is 50%. Low breast milk coverage is due to the mother's failure in the breastfeeding process due to the quantity of breast milk. Increasing the quantity of breast milk can be done by providing lactogenic foods with lactogagum effect such as Coleus Amboinicus Lour (cumin leaves). The aim is to find out the effect of steamed Coleus Amboinicus Lour (Cumin Leaves) sponge cake on the quantity of breast milk in postpartum mothers. This type of research is quasi-experimental, with a design using a pre and post test non-aquavalent control group. The quantity of breast milk before giving steamed Coleus Amboinicus Lour (Cumin Leaves) sponge cake to postpartum mothers in the intervention group and control group was 6.50. There is an effect of steamed Coleus Amboinicus Lour (Cumin Leaves) sponge cake on the quantity of breast milk in postpartum mothers.

Abstract

Cervical cancer is the fourth most common type of cancer experienced by women. The IVA test is an easy, simple and capable screening method for cervical cancer lesion. Analyzing the relationship between the knowledge and attitude factors of WUS in Loa Pari. This study used a quantitative approach, analytic observational with a cross sectional design. The research sample totaled 105 WUS. Data collections was carried out by filling out questionnaires, with univariate, bivariete, and multivariate analysis. Based on the results of the study, statistical analysis using the Somer's D test showed that there was a relationship between knowledge (p-value = 0.000) and attitude (p-value = 0.001) with WUS interest in carrying out the IVA test. The Puskesmas is expected to increase the target, coverage and education about the IVA test for WUS in their working area. In this research, it can be concluded that there is a relationship between knowledge and attitudes with the interest of women of childbearing age (WUS) to carry out an IVA test.Suggestions in this study are that it is hoped that further research will be carried out regarding the relationship between knowledge and attitudes with the interest of women of childbearing age (WUS) to carry out an IVA test.

Abstract

Latar Belakang: Tuberkulosis (TB)  menjadi penyebab utama kematian di seluruh dunia.  Kesulitan dalam penemuan kasus adalah pelacakan di antara kontak serumah dan kontak erat. Pengembangan teknologi informasi kesehatan berupa mobile health (mHealth) sangat membantu dalam melakukan deteksi dini  suspek tuberkulosis menjadi lebih komprehensif, lebih cepat, lebih efisien, dan lebih murah.Tujuan: Mensintesis bukti tentang implementasi aplikasi deteksi dini tuberkulosis berbasis mHealth di antara kontak serumah.Metode: Penulis menggunakan model PRISMA sebagai metode pencarian artikel jurnal pada database Google Scholar, ProQuest, EBSCO, dan ScienceDirect,  serta sumber lainnya. Hasil: Penulis menemukan sebanyak 533 artikel, dan 21 artikel diantaranya memenuhi kriteria untuk dibahas lebih lanjut. Sebagian besar penelitian berorientasi pada identifikasi kasus, kontrol pengobatan dan pelaporan, dengan desain penelitian descriptive qualitative, mathematical model, cross-sectional, experimental,    retrospective cohort, case study, prospective randomized controlled, exploratory, research and development.  Kesimpulan: Implementasi mHealth sangat efektif diterapkan pada masyarakat yang berisiko tertular TB, dapat mempercepat identifikasi kasus TB, pengobatan dan mengontrol kepatuhan pengobatan. Diperlukan pengembangan aplikasi secara mandiri sehingga mampu mendeteksi dini oleh kelompok risiko.

Abstract

A perineal wound is one of the predisposing factors for puerperal infection. This form of infection varies and is localized, resulting in sepsis and death during the puerperium. One of the risk factors for perineal infection is prolonged perineal wound healing. Channa Striata is one of the fish that contains more nutrients and protein than other types of fish, so consumption of Channa Striata can be used as a type of nutrition to accelerate wound healing. Then in Ananas comosus, you can find a phytochemical content in the form of bromelain, which functions as an anti-inflammatory so that it can prevent wound infection. To determine the effectiveness of Channa Striata and Ananas Comosus shredded on perineal wound healing in postpartum mothers. This research is included in quasi-experimental research with a one-group pretest-posttest design approach. The population is postpartum mothers who experience perineal rupture from either natural injuries or episiotomy wounds at Aji Batara Agung Dewa Sakti Hospital Samboja. The sampling technique uses purposive sampling of as many as 17 people. As a result of the study, this influence exists between Channa Striata and Ananas Comosus Floss in healing perineal wounds (p value = 0.025) with value α = 0.05.Research results show that Channa Striata and Ananas Comosus Floss can help speed up the healing process of perineal wounds. From the research results, Channa Striata and Ananas Comosus shredded can be used as an alternative for perineal wound healing

Abstract

Introduction: Stretch marks are one of the inconveniences during pregnancy and the puerperium. Stretch marks, also known as striae gravidarum, are anatomical and physiological changes during pregnancy that can occur in the abdomen, breasts and thighs. It is often also found in the areola or vaginal areas that experience hyperpigmentation. Objective: The aim is to find out the effect of Cantella Asiatica Powder (Gotu Kola) on Stretch Marks in Postpartum Mothers at Gerbang Sehat Mahulu Hospital in 2023. Method: the type of research is quasi-experimental research, with a non-equivalent control group design approach. Sampling technique with purposive sampling. Data analysis Using Paired Sample T Test. Results and Discussion: Based on the results of the study the intervention group and the control group had the appearance of real stretch marks, namely 10 (100%). After administration of Centella Asiatica (gotu kola) powder, most of the respondents had faint stretch marks, 9 (90.0%). Whereas in the control group, after health education about stretch marks, there were 7 (70.0%) respondents who had visible stretch marks and 3 (30.0%) respondents who had faint stretch marks. Conclusion: There is an effect of centella asiatica powder (gotu kola) on stretch marks in postpartum women

Abstract

Introduction: Mother's milk is the best food given to babies. Exclusive breastfeeding coverage at the Panjang Hubung Health Center is still below the target, this is due to insufficient milk production. Attempt by giving food to increase breast milk with steeping leaves of Little Bungur (Lagerstroemia Indica) which is an ingredient containing Lactagogum which can increase milk production. Objective: To find out the effect of giving little crepe leaves on the smoothness of breastfeeding in nursing mothers in the working area of the Long Hubung Health Center. Method: The type of research used in this research is experimental research. The research design is a quasi-experimental pre-test and post-test design with control using a comparison group. Result and Discussion: The average difference in the group intervention between the quality of breast milk before administration of little crepe leaf tea and after administration of little crepe leaf tea in the first week was 18.25 and the p-value was 0.017 <0.05, and in the first two weeks the mean difference was 4 .25 with a p-value of 0.034 <0.05. Meanwhile, in the measurements before and in the first week of the control group, a p-value of 0.039 <0.05 was obtained. While in the first week until the second week, the p-value is 0.131> 0.05, Conclusion: There is an effect of giving little crepe leaf tea on the smoothness of breast milk in nursing mothers

Abstract

Moringa leaves (Moringa oleifera) is one of the natural ingredients that has the potential to be used as an additive in food products, including ice cream. The purpose of this study is to determine the use of Moringa leaf extract from various aspects. This study used the literature review method. Data in this study was collected from various literature sources, such as scientific journals, articles, books, and related research reports. The data that has been collected is then analyzed in three stages, namely data reduction, data presentation and conclusions. The results showed that Moringa leaves can be used in various aspects including reducing cholesterol levels, increasing breast milk production, increasing the weight of toddlers and pregnant women, as lactogum and supplements, as antioxidants, preventing malnutrition or stunting, increasing body immunity, alternative food products, affecting the physical stability of pH-related creams, adhesion, dispersion, and viscosity.

Abstract

Background: Handwashing refers to the practice of using soap and water to clean one's hands, both externally and between the fingers. Avoiding the spread of diarrhea, an infectious disease, requires regular handwashing. The goal of this research is to examine how SDN 009 Loa Janan Ilir students' handwashing knowledge and skills changed after receiving health education in the form of puzzles. Methods: A non-random control group design was used in this quasi-experimental study. The treatment group was SDN 009 Loa Janan Ilir, and the comparison group was SDN 007 Loa Janan Ilir. Each school used a sample size of 53 students. Media with a puzzle theme was provided to the treatment group, while media with a PowerPoint theme was provided to the comparison group. The data was analyzed using Wilcoxon and Mann-Whitney tests.   Results: A bivariate analysis demonstrated that both participants' knowledge and skills improved after being exposed to health education content presented in puzzle form. After receiving health education, there was a statistically significant difference in both the knowledge and competence levels of handwashing between the treatment and comparison groups (ρ-values of knowledge ρ=0.032 and ρ-values of skill ρ=0.000). Conclusion: Students at SDN 009 Loa Janan Ilir learned new information and improved their handwashing skills after obtaining health education via puzzle media, according to the results of this study.
