Abstract

Amid rapid technological advancement and the persistent global challenge of tuberculosis prevention, adolescents remain a vulnerable group often overlooked in promotive and preventive health efforts. Based on this phenomenon, this study aims to evaluate the effect of health education using SOBAT TB (Solusi Online Berbagi Informasi TBC) media on tuberculosis knowledge among Grade X students at SMK Bina Bangsa Sedong, Cirebon Regency, in 2025. This research employed a pre-experimental design with a one-group pretest-posttest approach, involving 68 respondents selected through total sampling. A questionnaire was administered before and after the educational intervention, and data were analyzed using the Paired T-Test. The results showed a significant increase in the average knowledge score from 40.74 to 73.46, with a p-value of 0.000 (p < 0.05), indicating the effectiveness of the SOBAT TB media intervention. The study concludes that SOBAT TB is effective in significantly improving adolescents' knowledge about tuberculosis. This study contributes to the growing evidence that contextual and youth-friendly digital health education media can serve as innovative, effective, and sustainable strategies in tuberculosis control efforts, particularly within educational settings.

Abstract

There are still many incidents of infection phlebitis during the home care process. Sick to patients and staff p This describes quality service. House less pain. Incident phlebitis is caused by one of the reasons for not using PPE by the standard. Research purposes: To analyze the level of compliance with the use of PPE in nurses who have had incidents of phlebitis in the Hospital. Types of research This analytic design uses a cross-sectional method. Population in the study: There were 108 nurses in the Hospital and 52 samples. The sampling technique uses simple random sampling. Data collection methods are interviews and observations. The cross-tabulation results showed that respondents who complied with the use of PPE were 20 (38.5%), and respondents who did not adhere to the use of PPE were 8 (15.4%). Obtained P value = 0.001, there is a connection between compliance with the use of PPE in nurses and incident Phlebitis in the Hospital. Expected Hospitals carry out socialization about the routine use of PPE and monitor evaluations once a month regarding the implementation of compliance with the use of PPE; health workers should be obedient in using PPE and carry out work per existing standard operational procedures.

Abstract

Abstract

Rheumatoid Arthritis is an autoimmune disease that causes inflammation of the joints, resulting in pain, stiffness, and swelling. In October 2023, there were 50 cases at the UPTD Krangkeng Health Center, Indramayu. This study aims to determine the effect of warm compresses of boiled lemongrass and moringa leaves on reducing pain in rheumatoid arthritis patients at the UPTD Krangkeng Health Center, Indramayu. This study used a quantitative method with a quasi-experimental design and involved 50 patients using a total sampling technique. Data analysis included univariate analysis, normality test, and bivariate test with Wilcoxon. The results showed that the average pain intensity of the lemongrass group before the intervention was 6.80, and the average after the intervention was 1.20. The average pain intensity of the moringa group before administration was 6.72, and the average after administration was 1.32. The Wilcoxon signed ranks test results were obtained with a p-value of lemongrass = 0.000 and a p-value of moringa = 0.000. This shows a significant decrease in pain after being given a warm compress of boiled lemongrass and a warm compress of boiled moringa leaves. This can be continued as an intervention carried out independently in rheumatoid arthritis patients or by the UPTD Krangkeng Health Center as a non-pharmacological therapy to reduce pain intensity in rheumatoid arthritis patients.
