Abstract

This research was conducted at SMAN 1 Mojosari Mojokerto, the type of research carried out was qualitative research methods. This research approach uses a descriptive approach. The subjects in this study were principals, teachers/employees, and students. In collecting data, researchers used observation, interview, and documentation methods, while data analysis was carried out by means of data reduction, data presentation, and triangulation. This study aims to find out how the planning, organizing, implementation, and supervision are carried out by school principals and to find out how the process of implementing and evaluating school principals in improving student achievement at SMAN 1 Mojosari. The results of the research carried out are: the management function carried out by the principal is to use planning, organizing, implementing, and supervising. Furthermore, the strategy carried out by the principal is to plan programs for students starting from the lesson plans and extracurricular activities, while for teachers to make guided activities and guidance. In the process of implementation, the principal determines school policies, motivates educators and staff performance personnel, allocates human resources, and develops a culture of local school wisdom. Then in the evaluation process the principal monitors all the results of activities that have been carried out from the predetermined plans, measures individual and school performance, takes corrective steps.

Abstract

This service is designed with the aim of providing training in managing Islamic boarding school organizations to the administrators of the Al Urwatul Wutsqo Jombang Islamic Boarding School. As an Islamic educational institution, Islamic boarding schools play a crucial role in shaping the character of students and providing holistic education. To ensure sustainability and sustainable development, effective and efficient management is needed. Through this training, it is hoped that administrators at the Al Urwatul Wutsqo Jombang Islamic Boarding School can develop their managerial skills, understand and implement best practices in managing Islamic boarding schools. Mastery of modern management concepts, strategic planning, human resource management and Islamic boarding school finances is the focus in improving organizational governance. In this way, it is hoped that Islamic boarding schools can provide the best service to students, achieve better educational and da'wah goals, and strengthen their organizational foundations to support long-term development. Overall, it is hoped that this training will make a positive contribution in advancing Islamic boarding schools as quality and competitive Islamic educational institutions.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the effectiveness of Madrasah-Based Management (MBM) in developing teacher competency at MIN 6 East Aceh. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with a case study method. Data sources were obtained through interviews, observation and documentation. The research results show that implementing MBM in MIN 6 East Aceh has generally gone well despite several obstacles. In the aspect of developing teacher competency, MIN 6 East Aceh has made efforts such as providing opportunities for teachers to improve their educational qualifications, developing educator management through internal Teacher Working Groups (KKG), and providing opportunities to attend seminars. Factors supporting the implementation of MBM in MIN 6 East Aceh include strong leadership of the madrasa head, availability of human resources, adequate facilities and infrastructure, and fairly high community participation. The inhibiting factors in implementing MBM at MIN 6 East Aceh include limited classroom space, lack of networks and community participation, still centralized administration, and limited budget to develop teacher competency. To overcome these obstacles, MIN 6 East Aceh needs to strengthen networks and partnerships with the community, seek to increase the budget to support training and professional development activities for teachers and increase the number of classrooms. Overall, the implementation of MBM at MIN 6 East Aceh has positively impacted the development of teacher competency and improved the quality of education in madrasas.

Abstract

This research aims to analyse the relationship between work motivation and discipline and teachers' work performance at SMK Sejahtera Jakarta. Specifically, this research identifies factors that influence teacher work motivation and work discipline, measures the level of work motivation, work discipline and teacher work performance, and analyses the relationship between these three variables. The research method used was a survey method with a population of 38 teachers and a sample of 35 teachers taken randomly. The research instrument uses a questionnaire with a Likert scale. Data were analysed using descriptive and inferential statistics and correlation and regression tests. The research results show a significant positive relationship between work motivation and teacher work performance, work discipline and teacher work performance, and work motivation and work discipline together with teacher work performance. Work motivation contributes 58% to teacher work performance, while work discipline contributes 42%. Work motivation and discipline contribute 66% to teacher work performance. This research contributes to the development of human resource management science in the educational context, as well as providing practical insight for education stakeholders in an effort to improve teacher work performance through increasing work motivation and work discipline.

Abstract

The important part of management is the role of an educator in applying management functions in the hope of reducing such complex problems. Therefore, it is natural that the educator (teacher) is a major component of the management function. If the teacher is of good quality, then education will be good. And vice versa. Discussions about educators are widely discussed by Muslim and western leaders from various generations. One Muslim figure who is quite famous in talking about education is Shaykh Az-Zarnuji. In choosing an educator according to Az- Zarnuji refers to primary data sources namely, Ta'alimul Muta'allimul is in terms of choosing teachers, let choose who is more pious, more waro 'and older. The goal is to get the ideal teacher criteria so that the actualization of knowledge and responsibility for the mandate to reach the pleasure of Allah SWT. In addition, the contextualization of teacher and student relationships intended by Zarnuji is to place the position of a teacher as a respectable figure in front of his students.

Abstract

Description of the subject's behavior processes according to the focus of the problem under study. The technique of collecting data uses observation, interviews, and documentation. The data used are primary and secondary data. To check the validity of the data using the triangulation method. The data analysis technique uses descriptive techniques with four steps, namely: (1) data collection or data collection (2) data reduction or data reduction (3) display data or data presentation (4) conclusion. The results showed that currently the MTs. Al-Hasanuddin of Pasuruan City, the concept of school development in improving competitiveness is in accordance with the concept of vision, mission, and objectives, quality of learning in accordance with the national curriculum, outstanding students both academically and non-academically An Nashr in understanding the Qur'an, improving facilities and infrastructure with stakeholder participation. The implementation of a curriculum administration strategy that is good for improving the quality of human resources (teachers and students), implementing discipline of teachers and students, establishing good relations with local communities, involving local communities in school activities, then improving quality with 14 steps according to Crosby, and Implications in this study in the form of customer satisfaction, a climate that is conducive, pleasant, orderly and quality in accordance with the expectations of the community so that it can attract market attention (community) to send their children to school at Al-Hasanuddin Junior High School, Pasuruan City.

Abstract

Madrasah Diniyah Takmiliyah is one of the Islamic religious education institutions outside of formal education which is organized in a structured and tiered manner as a complement to the implementation of religious education. Madrasah Diniyah Takmiliyah Awaliyah Education is flexible, accommodating, and integrated, therefore its development can be carried out by the Central Ministry of Religion, education relates to the problem of madrasa principals in forming opportunities to hold meetings effectively with teachers in a conducive situation. This research uses a qualitative research approach in this study and aims to reveal existing data in the field by describing and interpreting something like what is in the field and linking cause and effect to something that happened during the research, to obtain a realistic picture of the program development process training. The research was conducted at the Al Munawaroh Laranganan MDTA, Lohbener Indramayu District. The results of the research show that the principal at MDTA Al-Munawaroh in Larangan village is still conventional in the pattern of forming the competence of his students. The principal in forming the competence of his students emphasizes only cognitive aspects. In the classroom, the teacher can provide teaching to students that emphasizes the effective domain (feelings and attitudes), without abandoning the values contained in the cognitive (rational thinking) and psychomotor (skills) domains.

Abstract

Berlatar belakang pada realita permasalahan yang ada di SMAN 1 Tarik menuntut perlu adanya Peranan Kepala Sekolah Sebagai Suprvisor Dalam Meningkatkan profesionalisme guru, karena Peningkatan profesionalitas guru sudah sewajarnya dilakukan, tidak hanya oleh pemerintah, tapi dari diri guru itu sendiri juga harus punya kemauan keras untuk bisa lebih profesional sehingga tujuan pendidikan nasional dapat tercapai. Guru professional tidak hanya dituntut untuk menguasai bidang ilmu, bahan ajar, metode pembelajaran, motivasi peserta didik, memiliki keterampilan yang tinggi dan wawasan yang luas terhadap dunia pendidikanHal ini tidak terlepas dari bimbingan seorang supervisor. Supervisi dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk membentuk serta meningkatkan kemampuan dalam prses belajar mengajar. Supervisi dapat membantu meningkatkan kemampuan profesional para guru, agar guru mampu melaksanakan proses belajar megajar yang dilakukannya di kelas dengan baik, selain itu seorang guru juga mampu berperan sebagai pendidik yang profesional dalam mengerjakan tugas dan tanggung jawabnya dalam membimbing dan mengajar, menciptakan suasana belajar yang nyaman,komunikasi yang baik.

Abstract

The Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Al Ersyad City of Kediri is one of the madrasas that seeks to create future generations of Muslims who are good and worthy of pride for religion, nation and state, especially in the city of Kediri. MI Al Ersyad is under the auspices of an Islamic foundation with the characteristics of the Ahlussunnah waljamaah (Aswaja) ideology. And make a real contribution in society in the educational aspect by preparing a generation of students who are ready to face the challenges of the times. Against the background of the community's social environment, the foundation has succeeded in supporting the establishment of formal institutions starting at the PIAUD, Elementary and Secondary levels, therefore many strategies are carried out in the student acceptance process (PPDB) in each new school year. The formulation of the problems in this study are, 1) What are the student admission strategies in improving the quality of students at MI Al Ersyad, Kediri City?, 2) What are the supporting and inhibiting factors for student acceptance at MI Al Ersyad, Kediri City?. This study uses a qualitative approach to the type of case study research. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews, documentation, and triangulation. The results of this study are that the New Student Acceptance Strategy (PPDB) at MI Al Irsyad, Kediri City Islamic Boarding School District is a process that is carried out every new school year. This was done by managing the acceptance of new PPDB students at MI Al Ersyad, Kediri City in improving the quality of students, such as improving the strategic management of the formulation stage which was strengthened by the implementation stage through registration of two batches from 04 January to 31 March 2022, by selecting approximately 115 people. new students, up to the evaluation stages of New Student Admissions by measuring the quantity and quality of new students based on student test scores.

Abstract

Character education is a effort to instill positive values for student to become good humans in all. Character education is expected to be amoral-social crisis that is happening in Indonesia. Responding to this, SD Alam Islami eLKISI made character education main program in forming the character of students. The purpose of this reseach is 1) To describe a designated character education system in SD Alam Islami eLKISI. 2) To describe and analyze the values of character education in SD Alam Islami eLKISI perspective of the Ta’lim Muta’allim book. This type of reseach uses a qualitative approach The methods of observation, interviews and documentation. The result of this study are 1) the character education system in SD Alam Islami eLKISI which is determinated based on three things, namely school programs that can indirectly shape the positive character of students, binding rule and sanction applied and strategies of implementing character education using learning, exemplary habituation, the existence a liaison book as well briefing and evaluation. 2) the values set in the programs and activities include religious, honest, disciplined, fond of reading, caring, environmental, social care and responsibility in accordance with the view of the book Ta’lim Muta’allim.
