Abstract

Abstract. Digital financial literacy is an important factor in a person's economic behavior. A person who has a high level of digital literacy will use financial services to obtain the maximum benefit from the financial services used. In payment behavior, a person with a high level of literacy will use the payment system that provides the most financial benefits. However, there are various literatures that provide varying results regarding the impact of digital financial literacy on payment system usage. Therefore, in this study, we empirically examine the impact of digital financial literacy on the use of payment systems, especially cashless at the provincial level in Indonesia. We use 136 observations per province year for the period 2019 - 2022 to test our empirical model covering 34 provinces. We find that overall, digital financial literacy has no effect on the use of non-cash payment systems.  Keywords: Financial literacy, digital, cashless, payment, financial literacy

Abstract

Research Originality: This research is original in its examination of the spatial influence of financial development on poverty in Indonesia.Research Objectives: This study investigates the impact of financial development on poverty reduction in Indonesia.Research Methods: This study employs a spatial econometric approach, analyzing data from 2016 to 2021. Key variables include credit-to-GDP ratio, third-party funding-to-GDP ratio, government spending, the human development index, and deposits-to-GDP ratio.Empirical Results: The findings reveal significant spatial dependence in poverty across Indonesian regions. The credit-to-GDP ratio did not significantly reduce poverty, whereas the third-party funding-to-GDP ratio showed a positive and significant effect on poverty reduction. Government spending, the human development index, and the deposits-to-GDP ratio contributed to poverty alleviation.Implications: These results suggest that Indonesia's financial sector development has not effectively reduced poverty. Policymakers should focus on targeted financial reforms, regional coordination, and improving socio-economic factors to enhance poverty reduction efforts.JEL Classification: C31, G21, I32, O18

Abstract

This study aims to analyze in depth the role of ex officio judges in the process of finding the law through their knowledge, especially as part of the consideration of evidence in civil procedural law. The problems studied include the position of judges' knowledge in the civil evidence system and the extent to which its use can be legally justified. The background of this study is based on the still widespread practice of using judges' personal knowledge in deciding cases, although normatively the evidence in civil procedural law has been determined in a limited manner in article 164 HIR. Judges' knowledge is often used unwritten as a basis for consideration, which has the potential to cause legal uncertainty. The method used is a juridical-normative approach with data collection techniques through literature studies of legal literature and court decisions. The results of the study show that although it is no longer explicitly regulated in positive law, judges' knowledge is still used as a basis for assessing legal facts. This shows the need for an update to civil procedural law in order to provide clear limitations on the use of judges' victories in the ex officio context.

Abstract

The study's objectives are to assess other important factors that influence export promotion and explore the impact of exchange rates on export performance. To accomplish the research goals, the study uses both the theories of foreign exchange and international trade. Data from the CBN Bulletin from 2010 to 2021 were used in the analysis. Multiple regression analysis was used to analyze the study. The results show that the link between the exchange rate, FDI, and export value in Nigeria is both positive and insignificant. The outcome further demonstrates that FDI and export value in Nigeria have a favorable and significant relationship. This suggests that export encouragement increases with FDI levels. The findings indicate that Nigeria's export performance is negatively and insignificantly correlated with inflation. More specific policies should be implemented by the government to support export promotion in Nigeria.

Abstract

The dimension of e-commerce in ITE Law Number 19 of 2016 and ITE Law Number 19 of 2016, which requires everyone to provide complete information and prohibits everyone from spreading fake news. In everyday life, what often occurs is default on consumers who like to play online games, especially Mobile legend. In reality, many defaults occurred but consumers did not have access to sue Top Up Store accounts because consumers had been blocked. Therefore, Mobile Legends players who feel aggrieved due to Top-Up diamonds and Top Up Store not repairing or refusing compensation can file a lawsuit to receive compensation. A clear dispute resolution process must exist in the event of a default. The research methods used are normative legal research or library legal research. The type of research used is analytical descriptive research. The research approach carried out by the researcher is the conceptual approach and the legislative approach (Statue Approach). Legal materials include primary legal materials, secondary legal materials, and tertiary legal materials. The results of the research conducted by the researcher concluded that, based on the Civil Code, the force of binding diamond purchase and sale agreements by sellers other than official providers, it is clearly explained that between buyers and unofficial providers, it is absolutely binding. This is because there is an element of agreement between the two parties. In addition, the ITE Law in Article 9 also guarantees binding force between non-official providers and consumers. This can be seen as evidence of communication related to diamond buying and selling transactions on Mobile Online Games. The form of responsibility in this case for the seller for the default of buying and selling Mobile Legends Diamonds through the Top Up Store can be resolved through the Consumer Dispute Resolution Agency (BPSK).

Abstract

This paper investigates the complex relationship between inflation, business cycles, and economic growth, focusing on both theoretical and empirical perspectives. The primary aim is to under-stand how inflation impacts key economic variables such as investment, consumption, employ-ment, and productivity and to identify effective policy responses. Specifically, the study’s objec-tives are to examine the mechanisms through which inflation affects the business cycle, quantify its impact on long-term economic growth, and evaluate policy strategies for managing inflation’s adverse effects. Methodologically, we employ panel data analysis using econometric models across a sample of countries from 1990 to 2021. This approach allows for cross-country compari-sons and controls for country-specific factors, providing robust estimates of inflation’s impact on GDP growth, unemployment, and investment. The findings indicate a statistically significant negative relationship between high inflation and GDP growth, especially when inflation rates exceed 10%. Additionally, inflation is shown to reduce investment levels and increase unemployment, aligning with Phillips curve implications in the short term and supporting inflation neutrality in the long run as expectations adjust. Theoretically, this study contributes to existing literature by confirming the threshold effect of inflation on growth, where moderate inflation may coexist with growth but high inflation disrupts economic stability. Methodologically, the use of panel regression models highlights the efficacy of country-level fixed effects in capturing infla-tion’s diverse impacts across different economic contexts. Practically, the research underscores the importance of inflation-targeting frameworks, counter-cyclical fiscal policies, and structural reforms to enhance resilience and support sustained economic growth. These insights offer val-uable guidance for policymakers seeking to balance inflation control with economic stability.

Abstract

The development of gluten-free brownies with purple yam paste and mocaf is an alternative for individuals who avoid consuming gluten. This study aims to determine the effect of the ratio of purple yam paste and mocaf on the characteristics of brownies. A Randomized Block Design was used with six treatment levels of purple yam paste to mocaf ratios: 0:100, 15:85, 30:70, 45:55, 60:40, and 75:25. Each treatment was replicated three times. The data obtained were analyzed using Analysis of Variance. If a significant effect was found, the analysis was continued using Duncan new Multiple Range Test (DnMRT) at the 5% level. The results showed that the ratio of purple yam paste to mocaf significantly affected the texture, color, and the hedonic organoleptic qualities of texture and color. The best treatment was the 75:25 ratio which resulted in a texture force of 105.5 N, water content of 20.16%, and color values of L* 37.1 a* 7.8 b* -2.9. Organoleptic scores for this treatment were: texture 3.48 (rather soft), color 4.40 (purple), taste 4.00 (like), overall acceptance 4.04 (like). However, texture and overall acceptance were lower than commercial brownies. The nutritional composition of this treatment included an ash content of 1.42%, protein content of 4.82%, fat content of 29.12%, and carbohydrate of 44.49%.

Abstract

Digital-based financial innovation has grown rapidly in recent times along with internet and smartphone penetration. The emergence of fintech and the existence of digital-based innovations carried out by incumbents in the financial services sector, in this case banking, are expected to increase financial inclusion. Furthermore, financial inclusion will encourage the growth of the real sector through increasing new entrepreneurs and also increasing the scale of existing micro and small businesses so that it will ultimately drive economic output growth. However, to achieve this goal, joint efforts are needed to increase the digital financial literacy of the community, especially the younger generation so that digital financial presence can be used for productive activities. This article discusses community service programs within the framework of developing digital financial literacy to encourage the growth of new entrepreneurs and increase the scale of existing micro and small businesses, especially by utilizing technology..

Abstract

The rule of law in the current era of democratization is one of the demands that must be implemented in the context of transparency in the handling of legal cases in social, national and state life. Impeachment is the process of dismissing the President and/or Vice President during their term of office which involves three state institutions, namely the DPR, the Court. The Constitution, and the MPR where the results of impeachment carried out by one of these three institutions have a legal relationship and influence each other. The Constitutional Court's decision provides a juridical interpretation of the DPR's accusations regarding violations of the law and disgraceful acts committed by the president and/or vice president and/or it is proven that the president and/or vice president no longer fulfills the requirements to be president and/or vice president.
