Abstract

Hypertension can cause the risk of damage to the cardiovascular, brain and kidneys, causing complications from several diseases, such as stroke, myocardial infarction, kidney failure and heart failure. Family support and compliance in hypertensive patients have a very strong correlation and have a positive direction. Self-management is thought to have caused a large increase in cases of non-communicable diseases in Indonesia, including hypertension. The aim of the research is to determine the relationship between family support and self-management with medication adherence for hypertensive patients at the Imelda Workers Indonesia Hospital in 2022. This type of quantitative research uses a cross-sectional approach. The research was carried out at the Imelda Indonesian Workers Hospital in Medan in June-July 2022. The study population was 64 hypertensive patients. The research sample used total sampling so the total sample was 64 people. Bivariate analysis used the Chi Square Test assisted by SPSS 22 software. Research results: The majority of family support for hypertensive patients was in the moderate category (45-60) with 30 people (46.9%). Family support was in the moderate category (45-60) with non-compliance with taking medication (8-11) in 16 hypertensive patients with a P.Value of 0.762>0.05, meaning that there was no relationship between family support and compliance with taking medication in hypertensive patients. The majority of self-management in hypertensive patients is in the sufficient self-management category (45-60) as many as 37 people (57.8%). Self Management was sufficient (45-60) with non-compliance with taking medication (8-11) in 19 hypertensive patients with a P.Value of 0.107>0.05, meaning that there was no relationship between Self Management and compliance with taking medication in hypertensive patients.

Sleep quality is the sleep that a person gets which is useful for getting freshness and fitness when waking up from sleep and can be assessed by the number of hours of sleep. Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) is a chronic inflammation that leads to long-lasting narrowing of the airways caused by destruction of the alveolar walls. The aim of the research is to determine the description of the sleep quality of patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) at the Imelda Pekerja IndonesiaGeneral Hospital, Medan in 2021. This research uses a descriptive method, a cross sectional approach with a sampling technique using nonprobability sampling with a sampling method, namely consecutive sampling involving 31 respondents. The instrument used was the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI) sleep quality questionnaire. The results of this study were based on the sleep quality of 31 COPD patients in the orchid room at the Imelda Pekerja IndonesiaGeneral Hospital, Medan. The majority of respondents had poor sleep quality, 21 people (67.7%) and the minority had good quality, 10 people (32, 3%). It is hoped that it can be used for basic data and developed for subsequent research by adding respondents, conducting research on the description of patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) in improving sleep quality, and before conducting interviews so that researchers can better understand the material. 7%) and minorities have good qualities as many as 10 people (32.3%). This study used NonProbability sampling technique using purposive sampling method, so that the total research sample was 30 respondents. The instrument used in this study was a questionnaire. Data analysis using univariate and bivariate analysis with statistical tests (Chi Square Test) in the SPSS application. The results of the study showed the results of the Chi-Square statistical test with a significant value (p) value of 0.01 or p< 0.05. The conclusion in this study is that there is family support for the level of ability to carry out daily activities in stroke patients at Imelda Pekerja Indonesia General Hospital in 2023.

Abstract

Sexual deviant behavior is also called abnormal or unnatural sexual behavior and has a tendency to lead to sexual crimes (Suherman, 2013). Deviant sexual behavior in question includes homosexuality (gays and lesbians), transexualism, sadism, masochism, sodomy, exhibitionism, voyeurism, bestialism, fetishism, incest, necrophilia, transvestism, sexualism, pedophilia, saliromania, frottage, mysophilia, and telephone scatologia. This study aims to analyze the relationship between preventive efforts (sex education) in sexual deviance in adolescents and the risk of sexual deviance at Imelda High School, Medan. The type of research used is descriptive correlation with a cross sectional study design. The research was conducted in July 2020. The population in this study was all students in class XI and XII of SMA Imelda Medan totaling 175 people. The sampling technique in this study was a proportional stratified random sampling technique, so the number of samples in this study was 30 people. The results of the research show that there is a relationship between preventive efforts for sexual deviance in adolescents and the risk of sexual deviance at Imelda High School, Medan. This is proven by the results of the chi square statistical test which obtained a significant number or probability value (0.031) which is lower than the significant standard of 0.05. It is hoped that teenagers understand the risks of sexual deviance and can control themselves with prevention efforts that have been provided through schools, families and communities in the form of sex education so that they do not easily fall into sexual deviant behavior that will harm themselves.

Abstract

The Emergency Department (IGD) is a part of the hospital that provides initial services to sick and injured patients. Overcrowding in the ER can result from a shortage of nursing staff, the number of patients waiting to be seen, a shortage of beds, delays in treating or assessing patients who are already in the ER, or patients who have been discharged from the hospital but have not paid their bills and are being held in the ER. This study aims to determine the experience of nurses in anticipating patient fluctuations in the emergency room at the Imelda Workers Indonesia General Hospital, Medan. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative using a phenomenological approach. This research was conducted in the IGD RSU IPI Medan. The research process was carried out from March 2024 to August 2024. The sampling technique in this research was purposive sampling. In this research, there were 6 (six) participants who underwent in-depth interviews. This research uses the Colaizzi method to analyze data.
