Abstract

This study aims to analyze the digital report card information system (RDM) in terms of user satisfaction using the End User Computing Satisfaction (EUCS) method at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri (MIN) 9 Banda Aceh. In the digital era, the digital report card information system has become a crucial tool in supporting administrative processes and assessments in the education sector, particularly in madrasahs. This study was conducted to understand to what extent the implementation of RDM can meet the needs and expectations of users, including teachers, students, and other stakeholders at MIN 9 Banda Aceh. The research method used is quantitative with a survey approach. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to users of the RDM system at MIN 9 Banda Aceh. User satisfaction was measured based on five EUCS dimensions: content, accuracy, format, ease of use, and timeliness. The results of the study indicate that, overall, users are satisfied with the RDM system in use. The ease of use and timeliness dimensions received the highest ratings, indicating that users find the system easy to use and that it provides timely information. However, there are several aspects within the content and accuracy dimensions that need improvement to enhance overall user satisfaction. This study provides important insights into the effectiveness of digital report card information systems in madrasah settings. The findings are expected to offer valuable input for system developers and madrasah administrators to improve the quality of services and functionality of RDM, thus better meeting the needs of users and supporting a more efficient educational process.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze user satisfaction with the Competence Development Center (CDC) application developed by LP3I using the End User Computing Satisfaction (EUSC) method. The EUSC method is applied to evaluate various aspects of user satisfaction, including usability, reliability, feature availability, and the overall user experience with the application. The approach used in this study is quantitative, with data collected through online questionnaires distributed to active users of the CDC LP3I application. Respondents were purposively selected based on specific criteria, such as the frequency of application use and the level of engagement with the available features. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistical techniques to identify the factors influencing user satisfaction. The results of the study indicate that most users are satisfied with the CDC LP3I application, particularly in terms of usability and feature availability. However, some areas require improvement, such as system reliability and support service responsiveness. These findings provide valuable insights for the developers of the CDC LP3I application to enhance quality and user satisfaction. This study also contributes to the literature on evaluating user satisfaction with mobile applications in the fields of education and professional development. Furthermore, the findings can serve as a foundation for further development of the CDC LP3I application and as a reference for other educational institutions planning to implement similar technology.

Abstract

This study examines payment behavior and user satisfaction among Indonesian short drama app users operating under aggressive freemium models with pay-per-episode mechanisms. Using a mixed-method approach with 240 active users across 12 applications (DramaBox, ReelShort, ShortMax, MoboReels, FlexTV, and others), the research investigates psychological factors influencing willingness to pay, actual spending patterns, and post-purchase regret. Results reveal that most users are Millennials and Gen Z (76.6% aged 18-34 years) exhibiting strong binge-watching patterns (averaging 10-11 episodes per session). TikTok serves as the primary drainage platform, accounting for 63.3% of user acquisition. The conversion rate reaches 41.2% with average monthly spending of Rp 116,003, yet exposes a paradox: Indonesia leads global downloads while demonstrating disproportionately low monetization. Regression analysis identifies Perceived Content Quality (β=0.324) and Perceived Enjoyment (β=0.245) as the strongest predictors of willingness to pay, whereas Perceived Cost Fairness shows a significant negative effect (β=-0.257). Impulse Buying emerges as the sole significant differentiator between paying and non-paying users. Path analysis reveals the SOR model's inadequacy, with direct effects dominating—particularly Customer Satisfaction on Intention to Continue (β=0.564). Although 80% of respondents recognize psychological manipulation tactics, awareness does not diminish their effectiveness. The study underscores the need for regulatory frameworks balancing innovation with consumer protection against aggressive monetization tactics that potentially exploit vulnerable users.

Abstract

The CKAN 2.7 platform provides basic functionality for open data portals; however, it requires customization to meet the specific needs of an organization. This study aims to address the research problem of how to design and implement a CKAN 2.7 extension to enhance the interface and functionality of the Open Data Portal at the Communications, Informatics, and Encryption Agency of Aceh Province. The research method applied is Research and Development (R&D) with a waterfall system development model. The extension was developed using Python, Jinja2, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and deployed in a virtual environment (VirtualBox 7.1 with Ubuntu 14.04 OS). The advantages of the successfully developed extension include: integration of local Aceh identity into the user interface, addition of a filtered search feature, improved directory structure, and a more dynamic dashboard display (showing dataset and active user counts). Therefore, this study provides a technical solution that not only meets functional requirements but also strengthens the local branding of the government’s open data portal.
