Abstract

Pengabdian masyarakat ini dilakukan dengan latar belakang adanya permasalahan semakin meningkatnya kecelakaan kerja dikarenakan resiko bahaya yang cukup besar di tempat kerja. Tujuan dari pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah meningkatkan kesadaran penggunaan APD dengan benar sehingga meningkat pula kesadaran akan pentingnya K3.Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah sosialisasi. Sasaran sosialisasi ini adalah taruna dewasa program studi Teknologi Mekanika Perkeretaapian. Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan bahwa masih terdapat beberapa peserta sosialisasi yang mempunyai kesadaran penggunaan APD yang kurang. Kegiatan yang dilakukan dimulai dari memperkenalkan kembali APD beserta penggunaan dan fungsinya. Selanjutnya dilanjutkan dengan gambaran resiko yang terjadi saat penggunaan APD tidak sesuai dengan ketentuan. Tahap akhir dilakukan adalah manfaat dalam K3 yang diperolah saat penggunaan APD tepat sesuai ketentuan.

Abstract

The train is one of the modes of transportation that has advantages compared to other modes of transportation, such as saving space, an elevated level of security, free from congestion, high carrying capacity, and environmentally friendly. One of the modes of rail transportation available at Daop 9 Jember is the Ranggajati Train which has two classes, namely executive and business. Because there are class differences, everyone has several factors in choosing the train class. Therefore, a search for the effect of variables with the selection of the Ranggajati train class will be carried. This in the future can be used as an evaluation material for PT. KAI to improve services and facilities according to the characteristics of each class. In this study, primary data collection was conducted using a Google form for passengers of the Ranggajati train in executive class and business class. The data processing and analysis method uses descriptive statistics to get an overview of the characteristics of the Ranggajati train passengers. Subsequently, calculations were done using binary logistic regression of selecting the train class. The result of the research obtained passenggers characteristics are dominated by men, 21-25 years old, work as student, travel neccesities for education, income less than 1.000.000, expenses for transportation 100.000 until 300.000, private vehicle owned motorcycle and car.

Abstract

Public service is an activity conducted to fulfill service needs in accordance with applicable regulations. Public services are intended for every user of the available service. The enhancement of public services is directed towards individuals with disabilities. A wheelchair lift is an assistive device used to facilitate individuals with disabilities who use wheelchairs to board and disembark from trains at low or moderate platforms. This device operates by lifting wheelchair users with disabilities without requiring manual assistance from human personnel. The design and construction of this device are developed by considering both mechanical and electrical aspects, ensuring it can be operated easily, reliably, efficiently, and capable of lifting a load of up to 117 kg. The utilization of this device can help reduce the risk of injuries for wheelchair-using individuals with disabilities when boarding and disembarking from trains. ABSTRAK Pelayanan publik merupakan kegiatan yang dilakukan dalam rangka pemenuhan kebutuhan pelayanan sesuai dengan peraturan yang berlaku. Pelayanan publik diperuntukan bagi setiap pengguna jasa pelayanan yang ada. Peningkatan pelayanan publik ditujukan untuk penyandang disabilitas. Wheelchair lift merupakan suatu alat bantu yang digunakan untuk memudahkan penyandang disabilitas pengguna kursi roda untuk naik turun kereta pada peron rendah maupun sedang. Alat ini bekerja dengan mengangkat penyandang disabilitas pengguna kursi roda tanpa harus diangkat manual oleh tenaga manusia. Rancang bangun alat ini dibuat dengan mempertimbangkan desain secara mekanikal maupun elektrikal sehingga dapat dioperasikan secara mudah, handal dan efisien serta mampu mengangkat beban 117 kg. Penggunaan alat ini dapat membantu mengurangi risiko cidera bagi penyandang disabilitas pengguna kursi roda pada saat naik turun kereta.

Abstract

Perkembangan perkeretaapian di Indonesia yang sangat cepat harus didukung dengan Sumber Daya Manusia yang memadai. Selain adanya alih teknologi terhadap teknologi baru yang ada maka juga penting menyiapkan SDM yang unggul agar generasi mendatang tidak hanya menerima teknologi tetapi juga dapat mengembangkan teknologi-teknologi baru. Kegiatan pengenalan prasarana jalur dan bangunan perkeretaapian kepada siswa-siswi MAN 2 kota Madiun ini dilakukan dengan tujuan agar siswa-siswi tersebut mengetahui dan memahami beberapa teknologi perkeretaapian khususnya prasarana bangunan dan jalur perkeretaapian yang dapat menjadi bekal dalam menghadapi perkembangan teknologi. Penyampaian materi dilakukan dengan metode ceramah. Materi yang disampaikan adalah prasarana perkeretaapian yaitu prasarana jalur dan bangunan perkeretaapian. Evaluasi ketercapaian tujuan pelatihan dilakukan dengan mengukur feedback peserta sosialisasi terhadap pelaksanaan pelatihan. Beberapa pertanyaan yang diberikan meliputi beberapa aspek di antaranya peningkatan pengetahuan terkait prasarana perkeretaapian, tingkat manfaat kegiatan dan penyampaian materi.

Abstract

Early childhood education is the main education towards higher education. Early childhood education must pay attention to the maturity of children in all aspects of life. Knowledge and understanding of something can be instilled into early childhood by various methods. In instilling understanding in children through direct recognition so that children will be stimulated through hearing (auditory) and sight (visual). The introduction of means of transportation is usually an attraction in itself for early childhood. Transportation tools become easy to understand because they are often seen even using these means of transportation. The introduction of means of transportation is carried out through auditory, visual and psychomotor. Improved auditory and visual abilities are obtained by the method of telling stories about trains. Videos are also shown to facilitate the child's understanding. Increasing children's knowledge and psychomotor using field trips directly by train to gain experience

Abstract

The maintenance of air springs on ND-748 and ND 748-T type bogies in Jakarta MRT facilities requires a complex and time-consuming process. This community service research project aims to design, develop, and socialize the use of a crane trolly jig air spring tool to improve the efficiency of the maintenance process. The methodology employed includes data collection, chain block calculations, design using Solidworks 2023, and a manufacturing process encompassing tool and material preparation, material cutting, welding, component assembly, and finishing. Testing results indicate that the developed tool is safe to use and functions properly. This tool can reduce the time required for air spring removal and maintenance from 4-5 minutes to a more efficient duration, while facilitating installation at a rate of 5 minutes per air spring. As part of the community service aspect, this auxiliary tool has been handed over to PT. MRT Jakarta, accompanied by socialization of its usage to facilitate maintenance of their facilities. This research is expected to contribute to improving efficiency and safety in the maintenance of public transportation systems in Jakarta.

Abstract

The importance of railway knowledge in the growing world of work, as well as the need to address the lack of understanding encountered among vocational students. The change from supply-oriented to demand-oriented curriculum is the main focus in improving vocational education. The Introduction of Railway Operation Facilities to Increase the Knowledge of Vocational Students in the Railway Field aims not only as a means of approach and promotion to the community about the existence of the Indonesian Railway Polytechnic Madiun campus, but also as a medium to escalate students' skills and knowledge in the field of railway operation facilities. This activity explains the legal basis related to railway operating facilities, including legal products that regulate operational aspects, safety, and optimization of all resources in the railway industry. In addition, it also explains about railroad operating facilities and their functions.

Abstract

Blends of biodiesel, like B35, are becoming more and more popular as the demand for cleaner energy sources grows. There are a number of difficulties with using biodiesel, particularly with respect to diesel engine fuel filtration systems. The purpose of this study is to determine the fuel filter's level of contamination at particular mileage intervals, assess how well the filter works with biodiesel blends, and calculate the fuel filter's lifespan when using B35 biodiesel. The authors have conducted an experimental study involving a testing apparatus to measure the flow rate at the filter. Real-time data on fuel flow rate and filter cloggi ng rate will be collected and analyzed to determine the impact of filter efficiency on fuel changes. The experimental data will be compared and contrasted to draw meaningful conclusions about the correlation between filter clogging and fuel flow rate. The data shows that the CC201 filter experiences less contamination compared to the CC203 filter. These results suggest that the CC201 maintains better performance at the distances tested. Filter quality was estimated based on the remaining flow rate capacity, showing a direct correlation between mileage and filter deterioration. Firstly, it was found that the level of contamination experienced by the CC201 fuel filter was superior to that of the CC203 filter. Secondly, the relationship between fuel filter life and locomotive mileage is illustrated by a scatter plot graph showing a decreasing trend line. Thirdly, from the use of B35 fuel, the performance of the fuel filter decreased at a percentage of 10% and 13% on each locomotive.

Abstract

This bogie design is used on trains. The purpose of simulation testing is necessary to ensure the strength and safety of the bogie frame design. Tests carried out to determine the durability of a construction are fatigue testing simulations. Fatigue failure is caused by fluctuating loads and it is necessary to simulate fatigue testing on the bogie. The method used in this research is the finite element method. The static test simulation results show that the maximum von Mises stress of 135.47 occurs at element 1675 with a safety factor of 2.4. The test simulation results on 9 loading combinations have a maximum average value of 110.16 MPa.
