Abstract

User Experience (UX) has been increasing linearly with the systems and digital media. UX concept describes a human factor as an experience with the life cycle of digital technology. UX increases the usability of the product in the industry more than functionality. Interest in UX has produced a huge amount of product and research articles. Moreover, this interdisciplinary topic becomes increased significantly because of the wider applications. However, this benefit become a problem due to the number of publications. The information overload problem is the result of the increasing UX topic. Several researchers solved this problem with qualitative analysis, but it cannot solve the overload problem. In this paper, we purposed bibliometric analysis and research profiling to interpret UX information on the map, with the publications from 1998-2022, a dataset compiled in RIS format to provide article metadata. As a result, the UX information map from the topic with the five clusters. Therefore, to provide information on the topic's coherence, we propose a coupling network. A related topic is shown as a link; a direct link means high coherence between topics. The analysis was carried out using the 5W1H approach (what, where, who, when, why, and how). The results show that UX is indeed an interdisciplinary field, especially with a design approach and user experience. In addition, to determine novice researchers, determining the focus of research can be done by taking into account previous research goals and maps.

Abstract

Lately, many of the educational circles use LMS to conduct electronic learning. This is because the COVID-19 pandemic has an impact on the teaching and learning process. Therefore, the government took a policy to reduce the spread of the COVID-19 virus by carrying out social restrictions. This requires that teaching and learning activities, which were initially carried out in person and face-to-face, must be done online or remotely, which of course creates new problems for teachers and students. Some of the problems that exist include students' ignorance when the lecturer gives assignments, or even the internet problems faced by some students. In previous studies, several researchers used a usability scale to obtain data from multiple users. However, in this case, the authors collected data through interviews with several users regarding what they needed regarding LMS. From the data obtained, the researcher thinks that the LMS is less effective for online learning due to the lack of features contained therein. One of the features needed by some users is the notification feature to find out the latest information that has been shared.

Abstract

Belakangan ini, pembelajaran tatap muka digantikan dengan pembelajaran jarak jauh dengan menggunakan Learning Management System. Hal ini dikarenakan pemerintah merumuskan kebijakan untuk mengurangi penyebaran virus Covid-19 dengan memberlakukan pembatasan sosial. Oleh karena itu, kebijakan tersebut menimbulkan masalah baru bagi pengajar dan peserta didik. Beberapa masalah yang muncul adalah mahasiswa kesulitan dalam mencari tugas yang belum dikumpulkan dan terkendalanya koneksi internet. Pada penelitian sebelumnya, beberapa peneliti menggunakan usability scale untuk memperoleh data dari beberapa pengguna. Namun dalam penelitian ini, penulis melakukan pengumpulan data melalui wawancara kepada beberapa pengguna terkait apa yang mereka butuhkan pada Learning Management System. Dari data yang didapat, peneliti beranggapan bahwa Learning Management System belum efektif digunakan pada pembelajaran jarak jauh dikarenakan masih ada beberapa fitur yang perlu ditambahkan didalamnya. Fitur yang dibutuhkan oleh beberapa pengguna salah satunya adalah fitur pemisah tugas guna mengetahui informasi perihal tugas yang sudah dikumpulkan dan yang belum dikumpulkan.

Abstract

Beradaptasi dengan pandemi Covid-19 membuat dunia pendidikan di Indonesia pun harus memutar otak untuk tetap bertahan dan menjaga kualitas pendidikan. Dengan memanfaatkan teknologi, terciptalah sistem pembelajaran e-learning untuk mempermudah proses pembelajaran secara daring. Untuk mendapatkan kualitas dan pengalaman belajar yang baik dan efektif, diperlukan pula sistem yang baik. Oleh karena itu pentingnya dalam mengembangkan suatu sistem, developer harus memahami user yang akan menggunakannya. User Persona merupakan salah satu metode elisitasi yang penting untuk proses penggalian kebutuhan. Hasil dari penelitian adalah ternyata User Persona membantu meningkatkan elisitasi kebutuhan dari permasalahan sistem lms yang digunakan Universitas Muhammadiyah Malang yang ada dengan lebih spesifik. Selanjutnya ini bisa menjadi perbaikan untuk kedepannya dalam meningkatkan fungsionalitas dari sistem sesuai dengan kebutuhan user.

Abstract

Requirements elicitation is the most important activity in the software development process, because it has a direct impact on the success of the development process. The success of a software is determined from the involvement of a user persona at the design stage. The involvement of user personas in software design is critical in the requirements engineering process, because if the process is done incorrectly, the resulting software will also have poor quality. This study focuses on using the approach of the user persona in collecting information related to the needs of the informatics engineering infotech website at the University of Muhammadiyah Malang, so that the results obtained can be in accordance with the needs of the user. The final result that is expected in this research is a design of the plagiarism check feature for the practitioner's program automatically on the infotech website which is implemented in the form of use cases and prototypes. This feature will later make it easier for assistants in assessing program results collected by practitioners, so that the time needed to correct the program can be done faster.
