Abstract

This article describes the structure of the gastropod community in the Bahowo Mangrove Ecotourism Area, Manado. From 30 sample units (squared) analyzed, obtained 185 individual gastropods belonging to 27 species with an average density of 6.17 individuals/m2. The Shannon index value (H') is quite high at 3.038, the evenness index (E) is also high at 0.922, and the dominance index (D) is low at 0.078. This variation in gastropod community structure occurs between transects. In Transect 1 there are 15 species with an average density of 7.6 individuals/m2. The most dominant species in this transect was Tectus fenestratus with a density of 1.6 individuals/m2 and a relative abundance of 21.05%. In Transect 2 there are 7 species with an average density of 2.6 individuals/m2. The most dominant species in this transect was Angaria delphinus with a density of 0.6 individuals/m2 and a relative abundance of 23.08%. On Transect 3 there are 9 species with an average density of 8.3 individuals/m2. The most dominant species in this transect was Terebralia sulcata with a density of 2.7 individuals/m2 and a relative abundance of 32.53%. Compared to the other two transects, Transect 2 had lower individual abundance and density, but also the poorest species richness. In terms of biodiversity, Transect 1 is the highest. With a composition of 15 species, Transect 1 has a higher H' index value than in Transect 2 and Transect 3. Between Transect 2 and Transect 3 there is no significant difference in the Shannon index value. The three transects showed a low dominance index value and a relatively high evenness index value.Keywords: Gastropod; Community; Mangrove; Bahowo AbstrakArtikel ini menggambarkan struktur komunitas Gastropoda di Kawasan Ekowisata Mangrove Bahowo, Manado. Dari 30 unit sampel (kuadrat) yang dianalisis, diperoleh 185 individu gastropoda yang termasuk dalam 27 spesies dengan rata-rata kepadatan 6,17 individu/m2. Diperoleh nilai indeks Shannon (H’) cukup tinggi yakni 3,038, indeks kemerataan (E) juga tinggi yakni 0,922, dan indeks dominansi (D) yang rendah yakni 0,078. Variasi stuktur komunitas Gastropoda ini terjadi antar transek. Pada Transek 1 terdapat 15 spesies dengan kepadatan rata-rata 7,6 individu/m2. Spesies paling dominan di transek ini  adalah Tectus fenestratus dengan kepadatan 1,6 individu/m2 dan kelimpahan relatif 21,05%. Pada Transek 2 terdapat 7 spesies dengan kepadatan rata-rata 2,6 individu/m2. Dari segi keanekaagaman hayati, Transek 1 adalah yang tertinggi. dengan komposisi 15 spesies, Transek 1 memiliki nilai indeks H’ lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan di Transek 2 dan di Transek 3. Antara Transek 2 dan Transek 3 tidak menunjukkan perbedaan yang nyata nilai indeks Shannonnya. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the types of gastropods in the seagrass ecosystem in the waters of Gangga I Village, North Minahasa Regency through Species Density, Relative Density, Diversity and Dominance in the waters of Gangga I Village, North Minahasa Regency. The results of the study obtained 126 individuals consisting of 13 species (7 genera) from 7 families (3 orders). The results of the analysis of the gastropod community structure showed that the highest species density value was at point 1 of 1.67 ind/m², followed by point 2 of 1.43 ind/m² and the lowest was at point 3 of 1.20 ind/m². The low density of gastropods at the 3 points is assumed to be caused by the environmental conditions in which they live, food sources, and fishing activities carried out by the local community. The relative density value of species with the highest percentage is at point 3, namely, the species Nassarius albescens 0.167% and the species with the lowest percentage is at point 1, namely the species Xenoturris millepunctata 0.020%. The diversity index value which includes the high criteria is at point 1 of 3.25, while the diversity value which includes the medium criteria is at point 2 of 2.87 and point 3 of 2.42. The dominance value obtained from the analysis ranges from C = 0.09 to 0.12 which is classified as low. while the value of diversity which includes the medium criteria is at point 2 of 2.87 and point 3 of 2.42. The dominance value obtained from the analysis ranges from C = 0.09 to 0.12 which is classified as low.Keywords; Density; Diversity; Dominance; Environmental. AbstrakTujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui jenis-jenis Gastropda di Ekosistem lamun perairan desa Gangga I, Kabupaten Minahasa Utara melalui: Kepadatan Spesies, Kepadatan Relatif, Keanekaragaman dan Dominansi di perairan Desa Gangga I Kabupaten Minahasa Utara. Dari hasil penelitian, diperoleh 126 individu yang terdiri atas 13 spesies (7 genera) dari 7 famili (3 ordo). Nilai indeks keanekaragaman yang termasuk kriteria tinggi terdapat pada titik 1 sebesar 3,25, sedangkan nilai keanekaragaman yang termasuk kriteria sedang terdapat pada titik 2 sebesar 2,87 dan titik 3 sebesar 2,42. Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to determine the relationship between length and weight and condition factors of Siganus lineatus around Kareko waters, Lembeh Strait. Sampling was carried out in March 2021 from fishermen's catch using net fishing gear. There were 31 individuals collected with a length range of 169.95-345.69 mm and a weight range of 94-939 grams. The relationship between length and weight of male (b= 0.3018), female (b= 0.3631) and total (b= 0.3287) showed a negative allometric growth pattern. Mean condition factors of the male, female and total were 0.106, 0.075, and 0.091, indicating that rabbitfish are in poor condition.Keywords: rabbitfish; allometric; fishermen.AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan panjang berat dan faktor kondisi Siganus lineatus di perairan sekitar Kelurahan Kareko, Selat Lembeh. Pengambilan sampel sepanjang bulan Maret 2021 dari  hasil tangkapan nelayan yang menggunakan alat tangkap jaring. Jumlah ikan yang terkumpul sebanyak 31 individu dengan kisaran panjang 169,95-345,69 mm dan berat 94-939 gram. Hubungan panjang berat ikan beronang jantan (b= 0,3018), betina (b= 0,3631) dan total (b= 0,3287) menunjukkan pola pertumbuhan alometrik negatif. Faktor kondisi rata-rata ikan beronang jantan, betina dan total yaitu 0,106, 0,075 dan 0,091, hal ini menunjukkan ikan beronang dalam kondisi kurang baik karena memiliki nilai kurang dari satu.Kata kunci : ikan beronang; alometrik; nelayan.

Abstract

This study was conducted to determine the type and composition of food contained in the stomach of the Spotchheek emperor Lethrinus rubrioperculatus in Napo Keluar Nain Likupang waters based on sex and body size. Samples were taken from the catch of fishermen and then the fish samples were then taken to the laboratory for data collection. The method used to determine the composition of fish food used the Index of preponderance (IP). The results showed that the food habits of Spotchheek emperor in Napo Luar Nain Likupang waters with the types of food contained in the stomach of Spotchheek emperor, namely fish, shrimp, gastropods, Polychaeta, crabs (megalopa), and octopus where the main food of Spotchheek emperor is IP fish (94,16%). While the main food based on sex and length of body size is fish, with male IP 96.98% and female 91.15% respectively, while based on body length of Spotchheek emperor where small IP 91.06%, medium IP 98.45% and large IP 82.22%. Keywords: Food, Likupang, preponderance Abstrak Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui jenis dan komposisi makanan yang terdapat dalam lambung ikan lencam Lethrinus rubrioperculatus di Napo Keluar Nain Perairan Likupang berdasarkan jenis kelamin dan ukuran tubuh. Sampel diambil dari hasil tangkapan nelayan kemudian sampel ikan selanjutnya dibawah ke Labolatorium untuk pengambilan data. Metode yang digunakan untuk mengetahui  komposisi makanan ikan digunakan indeks bagian terbesar (IBT). Metode ini  digunakan untuk menilai bermacam-macam jenis makanan ikan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa kebiasaan makanan ikan lencam di Napo Keluar Nain Perairan Likupang dengan jenis makanan yang terdapat dalam lambung ikan lencam yaitu ikan, udang, gastropoda, polychaeta, kepiting (megalopa) dan octopus di mana makanan utama dari ikan lencam adalah ikan IBT (94,16%). Sedangkan makanan utama berdasarkan jenis kelamin dan panjang ukuran tubuh yaitu ikan, dengan masing-masing IBT  jantan 96,07% dan betina 91,15% sedangkan berdasarkan panjang ukuran tubuh ikan lencam IBT kecil 91,98%, sedang 98,45% dan besar 82,22%. Abstract

This research is to know community structure and gastropod distribution include species density (individual/m2), relative density (%), diversity indices (H’), Evenness indices (E), Richness indices (R), Dominance indices (D) and Dispersion indices (Id).This inestigation was carried out February 2020 in intertidal area, Waleo beach in Minahasa Northern. Quadrat transect placed via area sampling based on substrate difference. Placing quadrat transect was centr on three points that different with distance with point 100 m and distance between quadran 10 m with size quadrat 50 cm2. Based on this research was find 22 species include Cypraea tigris, Terebra areolata, Cymbiola nivosa oblita, Euplica borealis, Turbo argyrostomus, Cypraea moneta, Conus cumingii, Cypraea errones, Tectus fenestrats, Nerita ascensionis, Nerita exuvi, Nerita albicilla, Nerita polita, Nerita Picea, Vasum turbinellus, Lunella cinerea, Nassarius globosus, Nassarius pullus, Vexillum acupictum, Clypeomorus pellucida, Vexillum ebenus, Terebralia sulcata. Five order include Neogastropoda, Littorinimorpha, Cycloneritida, Caenogastropoda, Trochida. Analysis result to species density is the highest 0,40 (individual/m2),relative density, Nerita polita 12,63 %, index of diversity,H’= 3,…, index of evenness, E = 0,97, index of richness, R = 0,22 and index of dominance, range D =0,13-0,18 concluded that no species dominantly. Gastropoda distribution pattern in intertidal area based 3 stations that showed all pattern of clumed distribution. Keywords: Gastropoda, Intertidal, density, spread pattern Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui struktur komunitas dan pola penyebaran gastropoda meliputi Kepadatan spesies (Ind/m2), Kepadatan Relatif (%),Indeks Keanekaragaman (H’), Indeks Keseragaman (E), Indeks Kekayaan spesies (R), Indeks Dominansi (D), dan indeks Sebaran. Penelitian ini di lakukan pada bulan februari 2020 yang berlokasi di daerah intertidal pantai Waleo Kabupaten Minahasa Utara. Penempatan transek kuadran di tentukan melalui teknik area sampling berdasarkan perbedaan substrat, penempatan transek dan kuadran di pusatkan di tiga titik yang berbeda-beda dengan jarak antara titik 100m dan jarak antara kuadran 10m dengan ukuran kuadran 50x50cm. Dari hasil penelitiaan di temukan 22 spesis meliputi Cypraea tigris, Terebra areolata, Cymbiola nivosa oblita, Euplica borealis, Turbo argyrostomus, Cypraea moneta, Conus cumingii, Cypraea errones, Tectus fenestrats, Nerita ascensionis, Nerita exuvi, Nerita albicilla, Nerita polita, Nerita Picea, Vasum turbinellus, Lunella cinerea, Nassarius globosus, Nassarius pullus, Vexillum acupictum, Clypeomorus pellucida, Vexillum ebenus, Terebralia sulcata. Dan 5 ordo Neogastropoda, Littorinimorpha, Cycloneritida, Caenogastropoda, Trochida. Hasil analisis terhadap kepadatan spesis nilai tertinggi terdapat pada spesis N.polita sebesar 0,40 Ind/m² dan kepadatan realtif tertinggi juga terdapat pada spesis N.polita sebesar 12,63 %, nilai indeka keanekaragaman H’= 9,49 yang merupakan kategori tinggi, nilai dari indeks keseragaman secara keseluruhan (E)=0,97 dalam kondisi , dan nilai indeks kekayaan spesis yaitu 0,22, indeks Dominansi (D) = 0,13 – 0,18 disimpulkan tidak ada yang mendominasi, Pola sebaran gastropoda di daerah intertidal dari ketiga stasiun menunjukan pola sebaran secara mengelompok. Wilayah pantai Waleo Kabupaten Minahasa Utara memiliki suhu 31,3ºC. Derajat keasaman pH yang di peroleh yaitu 7 Salinitas yang di peroleh sebesar 34‰ yang masih dalam kisaran baik untuk gastropoda. Abstract

The village of Bahoi has a vast expanse of seagrass meadows of approximately 16.50 Ha, located between mangrove and coral reef ecosystems. This study aims to inventory the gastropod species in the seagrass meadow of Bahoi village waters and to determine the gastropod community structure through analysis of species density, relative density, species diversity index, and dominance index. The method used was a transect line method along 50 meters and a 1x1m quadrat pulled towards the sea, repeated three times during low tide. A total of 117 individuals were found, belonging to 26 species (11 families and 17 genera) of gastropods in the seagrass meadow of Bahoi village coastal waters. Based on the results, the highest density value was 1.10 ind/m2 with a relative density of 28.20%. Based on the analysis, the dominance index (D) of gastropods in the seagrass meadow of Bahoi village coastal waters was low, with values of D = 0.019 to 0.041, indicating that there was no specific species dominance in the seagrass meadow of Bahoi village coastal waters. This has an effect on the diversity index with a value of H' = 2.51, which is categorized as moderate. These results show that the diversity of gastropod species in the seagrass meadow of Bahoi village waters is quite diverse due to the absence of specific gastropod species dominance. Abstrak Desa Bahoi memiliki luas hamparan padang lamun ± 16.50 Ha yang berada di antara ekosistem mangrove dan ekosistem terumbu karang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan inventarisasi jenis-jenis gastropoda di hamparan lamun perairan Desa Bahoi, dan mengetahui struktur komunitas gastropoda melalui analisis kepadatan spesies, kepadatan relatif, indeks keanekaragaman spesies, dan indeks dominasi. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode transek garis sepanjang 50 meter dan kuadrat berukuran 1×1m yang ditarik ke arah laut, dan dilakukan ulangan sebanyak 3 kali pada saat air surut.Ditemukan 117 individu yang termasuk ke dalam 26 spesies (11 famili dan 17 genera) gastropoda di hamparan padang lamun perairan pantai desa Bahoi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, nilai kepadatan tertinggi sebesar 1,10 ind/m2 dengan kepadatan relatif 28,20%. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, Indeks Dominansi (D) gastropoda di hamparan lamun perairan pantai desa Bahoi tergolong rendah, dengan nilai D=0,019 sampai dengan 0,041 menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat dominasi spesies tertentu di hamparan padang lamun perairan pantai desa Bahoi. Hal ini berpengaruh terhadap Indeks Keanekaragaman dengan nilai H’=2,51 sehingga berada pada kategori sedang. Hasil tersebut menunjukkan bahwa keanekaragaman jenis gastropoda di hamparan lamun perairan pantai desa Bahoi cukup beragam dikarenakan tidak adanya dominasi spesies gastropoda tertentu. Abstract

Bunaken National Park is known for its beautiful underwater scenery, with potential for coral reefs and tourism activities, such as diving and snorkeling. The waters of Popareng village is located in the southern part of Bunaken National Park. This study aims to determine the coral reef components and conditions based on the percent coral cover in Popareng waters, Tatapaan district, South Minahasa regency. A descriptive method was used in this study. Data collection was conducted at the depth of 7 meters with 4 replications using an Underwater Photo Transect (UPT) method. Data were analysed using the Coral Point Count with Excel Extension (CPCe) application. Results revealed that the coral reef components included 24 biotic categories and 3 abiotic categories, with the lowest percent coral cover found in the Acropora Digitate (ACD) category at 0.03%. The coral reef conditions this area is moderate with percent cover of 33.92%. Abstrak Taman Nasional Bunaken dikenal dengan keindahan bawah lautnya, memiliki potensi terumbu karang, dan potensi parawisata dengan kegiatan utama yang dapat dilakukan adalah diving dan snorkeling (Handoyo dan Johanis, 2021). Perairan Desa Popareng merupakan bagian selatan dari Kawasan Taman Nasional Bunaken. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui komponen bentik penyusun terumbu karang dan kondisi terumbu karang, berdasarkan persentase tutupan karang di perairan Desa Popareng Kecamatan Tatapaan Kabupaten Minahasa Selatan. Metode deskriptif digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Pengambilan data dilakukan pada kedalaman 7 meter dengan 4 ulangan, menggunakan metode Underwater Photo Transect (UPT). Data lapangan yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan aplikasi Coral Point Count with excel extension (CPCe). Hasil penelitian ini ditemukan komponen bentik penyusun terumbu karang meliputi 24 kategori biotik dan 3 kategori abiotik, dan persentase tutupan tertinggi ditemukan kategori yaitu Rubble (R) sebesar 21,13%, sedangkan persentase tutupan terendah berada pada kategori Acropora Digitate (ACD) sebesar 0,03%. Diperoleh hasil kondisi terumbu karang tergolong dalam kategori cukup dengan persentase tutupan karang sebesar 33,92

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to determine the fish species composition, relative abundance, and community structure, including ecological indices. The methods used in this study were general field survey methods and fish capture methods using the “swept area” method (Sparre & Venema, 1998). Data were collected based on the time of collection using beach seine gear. The research was conducted in several stages, including fish catching in the field, data analysis, and discussion. The results of this study showed that there were 13 species from 11 families of fish in the Sario River Estuary. The total population obtained in June and July was 292 individuals. 215 individuals were caught in June and 77 individuals were caught in July. The highest composition in both months was the species Ambassis urotaenia, while the lowest number was several species, namely Caranx ignobilis, Osteomugil cunnesius, and Zenarchopterus buffonis. The highest relative abundance in both months was the species Ambassis urotaenia (73.49% and 66.23%). The lowest relative abundance was Caranx ignobilis, Tylosurus crocodilus, and Zenarchopterus buffonis with values of (1.30%). Sillago sihama, Chelonodontops patoca (0.93%). The results of the study showed the community structure in Sario River Estuary in June and July (H' = 0.91 – 0,97, J' = 0.44 – 0.54, D = 0.49 -0.57). Keywords: Fish, Sario River Estuary, Relative Abundance, Community Structure Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui komposisi jenis ikan, kelimpahan relatif dan struktur komunitas yang meliputi indeks ekologi.Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu metode umum survei lapangan dan metode penangkapan ikan menggunakan metode “swept area” (Sparre & Venema, 1998). Pengambilan data dilakukan berdasarkan waktu pengambilan menggunakan alat tangkap pukat pantai (beach seine). Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan beberapa tahapan yaitu penangkapan ikan di lapangan yang akan menjadi data, analisis data serta pembahasan.Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan terdapat 13 spesies dari 11 famili ikan di Muara Sungai Sario. Dengan total populasi yang didapat pada bulan Juni dan sbulan Juli 292 individu. 215 individu tertangkap pada bulan Juni dan 77 individu tertangkap pada bulan Juli. Komposisi tertinggi pada kedua bulan adalah jenis Ambassis urotaenia, sedangkan jumlah terendah ada beberapa jenis yaitu Caranx ignobilis, Osteomugil cunnesius, Zenarchopterus buffonis. Kelimpahan relatif tertinggi pada kedua bulan adalah jenis Ambassis urotaenia (73,49% dan 66,23%). Sedangkan kelimpahan relatif terendah yaitu Caranx ignobilis, Tylosurus crocodilus dan Zenarchopterus buffonis dengan nilai (1,30%). Sillago sihama, Chelonodontops patoca (0,93%). Hasil penelitian menujukkan struktur komunitas di Muara Sungai Sario pada bulan Juni dan bulan Juli (H' = 0,91 – 0,97, J' = 0,44 – 0,54, D = 0,49 -0,57). Abstract

Community structure is an ecological term to indicate what organisms are present in a given environment, in what numbers, and how they are interconnected, through ecological indices that reflect dominance, evenness, and richness traits. The estuary is the most downstream part of the river and is connected to the sea. The Bahu River estuary is a habitat for a variety of aquatic life, especially fish, where water quality conditions greatly affect the abundance, diversity, and dominance. The methods used in this study were general field survey methods and fishing methods using the "swept area" method (Sparre & Venema, 1998). Data collection was carried out based on the time of collection using beach seine gear. This research was conducted with several stages, namely fishing in the field which will become data, data analysis and discussion. The results of this study indicate the composition of fish species in the Bahu River Estuary there are 11 families, 11 genus, and 14 species with a total of 86 individuals. The results of data analysis of the highest relative abundance in the Bahu River Estuary were in June, namely the Ambassis urotaenia species with a value of 45.90%. The results showed the community structure in the Bahu River Estuary in June and July (H' = 1.53 - 1.64, J' = 0.64 - 0.79, D = 0.31 - 0.26). Keywords: Diversity; Evenness; Dominance; River Estuary.

Abstract

Sulawesi waters are directly affected by the dynamics that occur in the Pacific Ocean. The ENSO phenomenon that occurs in the Pacific Ocean can also be felt in the waters of the Sulawesi Sea. The dynamics of oceanographic parameters can cause climate change. The extreme impact of climate change is mainly the occurrence of rising temperatures and seasonal shifts. The purpose of this study is to analyze the variability of spatial and temporal anomalous distribution of sea surface temperature and chlorophyll-a. This study used monthly AQUA Modis image data, conducted by analyzing the spatial and temporal distribution of sea surface temperatures during the two decades of the period 2003 - 2022. This analysis is based on abnormal values obtained from subtracting parameter values from historical values (the average value of all data). The results of spatial variability analysis of sea surface temperature and chlorophyll –show anomalous variations occur in the western and transitional season periods I, while in the eastern season and transition II positive anomalous values dominate the eastern waters negative anomalies dominate the western waters opposite to chlorophyll – a. This study showed that there was an increase in sea surface temperature slope by 0.000840C / year while in chlorophyll - a there was a decrease in slope by 0.00072mg / m3 / year. Keywords: Spatial, Temporal, SPL, Chlorophyll – a, Climate Change. Abstrak Perairan Sulawesi mendapatkan pengaruh secara langsung dari dinamika yang terjadi di Samudera Pasifik. Fenomena ENSO yang terjadi di Samudera Pasifik juga dapat dirasakan dampaknya di perairan Laut Sulawesi. Dinamika parameter oseanografi dapat menyebabkan terjadinya perubahan iklim. Dampak ekstrem dari perubahan iklim terutama adalah terjadinya kenaikan temperatur serta pergeseran musim. Tujuan penelitian ini Menganalisis Variabilitas distribusi anomali spasial dan temporal dari suhu permukaan laut dan klorofil – a, Penelitian ini menggunakan data citra AQUA Modis bulanan, dilakukan dengan menganalisis sebaran spasial dan temporal suhu permukaan laut selama dua dekade periode 2003 - 2022. Analisa ini didasarkan pada nilai anomali yang didapat dari pengurangan nilai parameter dengan nilai historis (rerata nilai seluruh data). Hasil analisis variabilitas spasial suhu permukaan laut dan klorofil – a menunjukan variasi anomali terjadi pada periode musim barat dan peralihan I , sedangkan pada musim timur dan peralihan II nilai anomali positif mendominasi perairan sebelah timur anomali negatif mendominasi perairan sebelah barat sebaliknya dengan klorofil – a. Penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa terjadi peningkatan slope suhu permukaan laut sebesar 0,000840C/ tahun sedangkan pada klorofil - a terjadi penurunan slope sebesar 0,00072mg/m3/tahun.
