Abstract

The assessment of student learning outcomes is a mandatory process in educational institutions, whether they are formal or non-formal, with the aim of monitoring and evaluating student progress during the learning process. With the advancement of technology, there are many processes that can be integrated with information technology to simplify existing procedures. The purpose of this research is to facilitate schools in making decisions regarding the results of the learning assessment process by using predefined attributes. The attributes used as reference for consideration are assignments, mid-term exams (UTS), and final exams (UAS). Therefore, this study is built using the SAW method and the PHP programming language supported by the Laravel framework. The output of this research is an information system that supports decision-making in assessing student learning outcomes in the form of subject rankings and provides transparency and convenience for students to access their grades or the final results of the student learning assessment process.

Abstract

In general, education in Indonesia is one of the most important aspects in the development of society and the state. As educators in elementary schools, they will carry out their duties well if they understand the concept of education in elementary schools. By understanding the factors that influence student achievement, it can improve the quality of education and provide a better understanding of the factors that influence student achievement. These factors include report card grades, attendance, family support, interest in learning, and motivation to learn. These factors ensure that students achieve their goals and provide a better opportunity to improve their academic performance in primary school. For Dhamma Sasana Elementary School In predicting student achievement, there are many obstacles or problems that must be faced by schools in predicting student achievement, many comparisons of variables and factors to be tested and decision making on the achievement of elementary school students. This research applies the C4.5 algorithm method used to predict student achievement at Dhamma Sasana Elementary School. The C4.5 algorithm is one of the data analysis tools that is able to identify the variables that have the most influence on student achievement. Conclusions include manual calculations, a decision tree, and testing conducted with data mining techniques and classification results that were 99.0% correct, including the C4.5 algorithm and testing conducted with the WEKA software application version 3.9.6.

Abstract

The term customer satisfaction refers to a situation when customers realize their needs and desires are met or are not met as expected.. Customers are generally satisfied with their experiences. Customer satisfaction determines whether they continue to use the service, while customer dissatisfaction leads to them stopping using it. The result will be the loss of customers for business actors. Developing strategies to improve the satisfaction of customers is one of the most important tasks for business actors. Essentially, C4.5 is a decision tree algorithm that functions in the form of a structured data collection program coded in such a way that it can be used to collect data that has changed and to turn it into a decision tree that consists of a decision rule so that the results of the data can be used to help make a decision. Based on the findings of the research, it appears the factors that are influencing Edukits Batam Center customer satisfaction the most are price, the accessibility of the location, and the quality of the products.

Abstract

Facing the dynamics of a competitive and rapidly changing business environment, PT Prima Niaga Indomas, a snack food distribution company, encounters challenges in optimizing its product sales. Accurate sales forecasting is crucial to maintaining inventory efficiency, avoiding overstock, and meeting customer demand. This research aims to implement the C4.5 algorithm to predict the sales of snack food products at PT Prima Niaga Indomas. The location of PT Prima Niaga Indomas is at Puri Industrial Park 2000 Block D No. 5, Batam Centre, Batam City, Riau Islands. By leveraging historical sales data, product information, marketing factors, and external variables, this study seeks to develop a predictive model to assist the company in forecasting snack food product sales more accurately. The data generated from this research is expected to make a significant contribution to improving the operational efficiency of PT Prima Niaga Indomas. Data analysis is conducted by applying the C4.5 algorithm using WEKA software version 3.8.5, with manual calculations for comparison using Microsoft Excel. The research findings indicate the accuracy of data in the rules of delivery, durability, price, size, and quality. The researchers utilized two decision variables, namely, whether a product is sold or not. This study provides valuable insights into optimal inventory management, identification of sales trends, and faster responsiveness to market changes. The implication is that PT Prima Niaga Indomas can leverage this predictive model to enhance operational efficiency and productivity. Keywords: Algorithm C4.5, Data Mining, Sales Prediction

Abstract

This research, titled “Decision Support System for Employee Salary Increase Using the TOPSIS Method Based on Web” addresse the issues of non-transparency and subjectivity in determining employee salary increases at Bintang Moro. Fair and objective salary adjustmentsare crucial for retaining and motivating employees, as well as ensuring the company’s sustainability and growth. Decicion support system (DSS) designed in this study uses the TOPSIS method, implemented as a web based application. TOPSIS method was selected for its ability to rank alternatives based ontheir proximity to an ideal solution, ensuring objective decision making.the research involved collecting data on employee performance and salary increases over thepast three months at Bintang Moro. This data was processed using the TOPSIS method and intergrated into a web-based system developed with PHP and Mysql. Finding indicate that the TOPSIS-based DSS provides more objective and transparent recommendations for salary increases. Web-based system also facilitates management in monitoring and evaluating employee performancemore efficiently. The system implementation leads to more equtable salary decisions, fostering a positive work environment. The research contributes to the field by offering a practical solution for decision support in employee salary management. It can serve as a refrence for developing similar system in other organizarional contexrs

Abstract

Keberadaan teknologi informasi sangat berperan dalam pengelolaan proses bisnis pada sebuah organisasi atau perusahaa. Untuk sebuah organisasi yang bergerak di bidang pendidikan proses bisnis dimulai dari pendaftaran, pembayaran, pengajaran, dan lulusan. Khusus dalam lulusan, beban dan tanggung jawab perguruan tinggi tidak hanya sampai kepada proses wisuda saja, ada beban moral yang akan menggambarkan tolak ukur keberhasilan melaksanakan aktifitas pengajaran dalam bentuk output lulusan yang berguna dan dipakai oleh pihak masyarakat sebagai pengguna lulusan. Tracer study merupakan proses penelusuran keberadaan lulusan yang dapat membantu perguruan tinggi untuk mengetahui lulusan perguruan tinggi diterima oleh pengguna lulusan.dalam penelitian ini di kembangkan model tracer study dari sistem informasi alumni yang ada, melalui metode water fall, terjadi pengembangan system yang baru , dengan adanya pengembangan ini akan dihasilkan output laporan keberadaan alumni/lulusan yang terdokumentasi dan terkontrol sehingga membantu perguruan tinggi dalam berintegrasi dengan lulusan nya serta membantu memberikan arahan mendapatkan pekerjaan sesuai dengan kepotensi dan latar belakang program studi yang telah diselesaikan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kualitas layanan sebuah website untuk mengetahui perbedaan antara harapan dan persepsi ideal pengguna website. Masalah yang harus dipecahkan adalah bagaimana memulai mengevaluasi sebuah situs web. Pendekatan terukur WebQual dipilih karena merupakan teknik langsung ke pengguna di mana pengukuran kualitas situs web didasarkan pada persepsi. WebQual yang digunakan adalah WebQual versi 4.0 yang telah dimodifikasi dengan menambahkan dimensi User Interface Quality dengan tiga dimensi utama yaitu Quality of Usability, Quality of Information, dan Quality of Service Interaction. Analisis statistik menggunakan analisis perbedaan (differences t-test) dan Importance Performance Analysis (IPA). Hasil penelitian membuktikan bahwa terdapat perbedaan persepsi dan harapan terhadap layanan website, hal ini menunjukkan bahwa tingkat kualitas layanan website belum memenuhi harapan konsumen. Hasil pemetaan pada diagram kartesius tersebut memuat 7 indikator penting yang diharapkan dapat menjadi masukan bagi manajemen pengelola website dalam merumuskan strategi peningkatan kualitas website.

Abstract

Pengambilan keputusan pasti akan dialami setiap orang kapan saja dan dimana saja, persoalan akan muncul jika keputusan yang diambil memerlukan beberapa pertimbangan karena jika tidak diperhitungkan dan dipertimbangkan secara baik maka akan berimbas kepada kepada hasil akhir yang buruk dan beresiko. Pembahasan dalam penelitian ini berhubungan dengan proses pengambilan keputusan yaitu keputusan untuk pembelian sebuah laptop menggunakan fungsi Borda. Fungsi Borda dikenal sebagai suatu pembobotan (mirip dengan AHP) dengan menggunakan data preferensi atau peringkat kepentingan dari atribut (variabel) yang akan dibobotkan. Adapun atribut yang diambil adalah menyangkut masalah komponen utama, ukuran, harga, touchpad, baterai, merek dan sistem operasi dari sebuah laptop. Dari 7 atribut penting sebuah laptop tersebut akan dihasilkan masing-masingnya 6 preferensi, jadi secara total akan dihasilkan 42 preferensi yang mungkin muncul dan dilanjutkan dengan membuat daftar hasil dalam bentuk susunan preferensi dan terakhir adalah dibuat matriks berpasangan dalam bentuk rekapitulasi sebelum dilakukan penarikan kesimpulan. Proses penarikan kesimpulan sendiri akan dilakukan dengan menghitung jumlah baris dan bobot yang telah didapat. Jumlah yang paling tinggi (prosentase paling tinggi) merupakan keputusan yang terbaik untuk diambil sebagai solusi. Solusi inilah yang nantinya digunakan untuk membantu para mahasiswa dalam membeli laptop

Abstract

Sistem pakar adalah program komputer dimana program tersebut memiliki pengetahuan seperti layaknya seorang pakar atau ahli. Pada saat ini banyak implementasi sistem pakar di berbagai bidang dan disiplin keilmuan, dimana bidang psikologi menjadi salah satunya. Sistem pakar dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode Forward Chaining yang berdasarkan pada tes MBTI dalam menentukan kepribadian seseorang, dalam metode MBTI tipe kepribadian seseorang dibagi menjadi 16 tipe kepribadian yang berbeda. Perangkat lunak dalam sistem pakar ini memakai framework CodeIgniter dalam bentuk framework PHP dan model MVC (Model, View, Control) dan menggunakan MySQL sebagai basis penyimpanan pengetahuan. Aplikasi ini dirancang menggunakan Extreme Programming, yang memiliki empat tahapan, yaitu perencanaan, perancangan, pengkodean, dan pengujian. Pengujian aplikasi ini melibatkan pengujian langsung terhadap individu yang menjawab beberapa pertanyaan pilihan ganda untuk mengetahui tipe kepribadiannya. Sistem pakar ini mengumpulkan informasi tentang tipe kepribadian individu tersebut, serta kelebihan dan kelemahan individu tersebut.

Abstract

The implementation of community service activities that will be carried out in the form of correspondence training and document reporting using applications in Microsoft Word is very useful for PAUD teachers in the city of Batam, because this capability will make it easier for PAUD teachers in the city of Batam in terms of correspondence. and reporting as well as increasing creativity in collaborating and abilities in the administration of the workplace. community service activities by applying the method of making activity reports, correspondence and correspondence as well as making information technology-based reporting formats by utilizing existing applications in Microsoft Word with the hope that this activity will be able to provide creativity, optimize existing IT facilities and increase human capabilities and resources especially for individual PAUD teachers in the city of Batam.
