Abstract

The aim of this study is to evaluate the influence of hedonistic lifestyles on consumer behavior among university students while analyzing the Islamic perspective regarding this behavior. Hedonism, as a lifestyle choice, captivates the interest of young individuals by offering a luxurious, comfortable, and abundant way of life without requiring substantial effort. Employing a quantitative method and applying Probability Sampling among 200 students, the research extracted a sample size of 115 individuals. The research findings illustrate a positive correlation between hedonistic lifestyles and consumer behavior, evidenced by the positive coefficients within the analysis. The more prevalent the hedonistic lifestyle, the more pronounced the consumer behavior becomes. A significant portion of the student community tends to be influenced by hedonistic tendencies, emphasizing pleasure over essential needs, consequently leading to consumer behavior. The activities, interests, and perspectives of the majority of students do not entirely align with the principles of Islamic economics, which emphasize the necessity for rational needs aligned with the Islamic sharia, as stated in the Quran (Al-A'raf verse 31). This signifies that the orientation of needs driven by hedonistic lifestyles contradicts the principles of Islamic economics that emphasize needs in line with positive values within Islamic teachings.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to find out how the global recession will affect stock price movements in Indonesia in 2023. The research method used is quantitative with secondary data collection techniques in the form of inflation, exchange rate and interest rate data. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression using the SPSS version 25 program. The results of the research show that the variables inflation, interest rates and exchange rates influence stock price movements by 17.9%. First, there is no significant influence of inflation (X1) on JII share price movements, second, there is a negative influence of interest rates (X2) on JII share price movements, third, there is no influence of the exchange rate on JII share price movements. while the rest is influenced by other variables not studied.

Abstract

Zakat adalah kewajiban bagi umat Muslim yang berkaitan dengan harta dan sangat penting untuk kesejahteraan umat. BAZNAS adalah lembaga resmi pemerintah yang mengelola zakat, infak, dan sedekah, sementara LAZ dibentuk oleh masyarakat. Contoh LAZ nasional adalah NU CARE LAZISNU dan LAZISMU. BAZNAS memiliki 11 anggota dan dapat membentuk Unit Pengumpul Zakat (UPZ) untuk membantu pengumpulan dan distribusi dana. Pendampingan untuk mendirikan UPZ penting agar mendapatkan izin resmi dan memastikan operasional yang legal dan transparan. Jurnal ini menjelaskan masalah dalam pendampingan perizinan unit Pengumpulan Zakat di masjid Al-Muhajirin menggunakan metode ABCD. Setelah menerapkan metode ABCD, banyak masyarakat di sekitar masjid Al-Muhajirin yang membentuk badan unit Pengumpulan Zakat. Pendampingan ini fokus pada tujuan komunitas dan meningkatkan kemandirian dengan memanfaatkan aset yang ada. Pelaksanaan program Pendampingan Unit Pengumpul Zakat di masjid Al-Muhajirin disesuaikan dengan Peraturan BAZNAS Nomor 2 Tahun 2016. Program ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman masyarakat tentang zakat, termasuk syarat nisab dan besaran zakat. Hasilnya, terjadi peningkatan pemahaman dan antusiasme masyarakat untuk mendukung pembentukan Unit Pengumpul Zakat. Sosialisasi berhasil membangun kebersamaan, rasa ketaqwaan, dan hubungan sosial yang kuat, meskipun ada tantangan awal karena keraguan masyarakat. Pada akhirnya, jamaah setuju untuk melegalkan UPZ di masjid.

Abstract

Waqf, as a form of Islamic philanthropy, has strong potential in Indonesia. Indonesia's predominantly Muslim population and the generous character of the Muslim community offer great opportunities for the development of waqf. One of the latest developments in waqf is stock waqf, which operates in the Islamic capital market as a product of Islamic philanthropy. Among university students, stock waqf literacy is still low, although the current generation is very familiar with digital technology. Therefore, the development of a stock waqf application as an educational tool can be a solution to improve students' understanding of stock waqf. The purpose of this research is to develop a stock waqf simulation application through fintech technology to improve literacy among students. The results of the development of the stock waqf simulation application have gone through various stages, including needs analysis, design, implementation, and testing. The test results show that this software fulfills the needs well, with the validity of the test reaching 100%. This indicates that the stock waqf simulation application has been successfully created and can be used to provide an understanding of stock waqf simulation.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of financial literacy, financial inclusion, and sharia financial technology on the financial behavior of generation Z in Bengkulu City. In this study, used quantitative associative research methodology, 397 respondents were selected from a sample size of 40,401 people using purposive sampling techniques calculated using the slovin formula and a margin of error of 5%. The data source uses primary data collected through questionnaires and analyzed using SPSS software version 22. Partially, the results of the study indicate that the financial behavior of Generation Z is significantly influenced by the variables of financial literacy and sharia financial technology, while the variable of financial inclusion does not influence the financial behavior of Generation Z. Together, the three independent variables have a significant effect on the dependent variable, with a coefficient of determination (R2) of 25,9%, which explains that in addition to variables of financial literacy, financial inclusion, and sharia financial technology, there are many other factors that influence variables of financial behavior.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine how much influence the influence of promotions on social media, fear of missing out (FOMO), and self-control on impulsive buying behavior in generation Z in the perspective of Islamic economics. This study uses a quantitative method with primary data collection techniques in the form of questionnaires distributed to 140 respondents. The sample in this study was gen z aged 17-29 years, domiciled in Tengah Padang village and shopee users. The data analysis technique used is Partial Least Square analysis with the help of the Smartpls application. The results of the study show that partially promotions on social media, fear of missing out (FOMO) have a positive and significant effect on impulsive buying, and self-control has a negative and significant effect on impulsive buying. Simultaneously, promotions on social media, FoMO, and self-control have a significant effect on impulsive buying with an R-Square value of 0.585.
