Abstract

This study examines the multifaceted challenges faced by Micro and Small Enterprises (MSEs) in implementing halal certification in Selebar District, Bengkulu City, Indonesia. Despite the mandatory halal certification requirement established by Law Number 33 of 2014, many MSEs have yet to comply with this regulation. Through qualitative field research involving in-depth interviews with 11 MSE owners, this study identifies three critical barriers to halal certification implementation. First, there is a significant knowledge gap among MSE actors regarding halal certification requirements and available support programs, particularly the government's free certification initiative (SEHATI). Second, MSEs face substantial documentation challenges, with none of the studied businesses possessing the required Business Identification Number (NIB), compounded by limited technological literacy that hinders the application process. Third, there is low awareness among MSE actors about the strategic importance of halal certification for business sustainability. The findings suggest that successful implementation of halal certification requires a comprehensive approach that addresses knowledge barriers, simplifies documentation requirements, and builds awareness through targeted education programs. This research contributes to understanding the practical challenges of implementing halal regulations at the micro-enterprise level and offers policy recommendations for improving certification adoption rates.

Abstract

Sewa menyewa merupakan salah satu bentuk kerja sama yang dibolehkan dalam Islam karena mengandung unsur tolong menolong. Sewa menyewa dapat di artikan sebagai akad yang menjual belikan antara manfaat barang dengan sejumlah imbalan sewa. Dalam penelitian ini, yang akan diteliti yaitu mengenai pelaksanaan kegiatan sewa menyewa tanah sawah yang terjadi di Desa Tanjung Ganti II Kecamatan Kelam Tengah Kabupaten Kaur. Sewa menyewa tanah ladang yang dilakukan di Desa Tanjung Ganti II kurang sesuai dengan syarat sewa menyewa (ijarah) karena dalam hal pemanfaatan tanah dan penentuan batas waktu tidak dijelaskan secara pasti pada saat akad dilakukan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam artikel ini adalah penelitian kualitatif yang cara pengumpulan data melalui sumber data primer yaitu sumber data yang diperoleh secara langsung dari pemilik dan penyewa tanah sawah. Dari hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa praktik sewa menyewa tanah sawah di Desa Tanjung Ganti II Kecamatan Kelam Tengah Kabupaten Kaur telah sesuai dengan hukum Islam karena sudah sesuai dengan rukun Ijarah. Hanya terdapat kekurangan pada syarat ijarah yaitu tidak ada kejelasan manfaat dan penentuan batas waktu pada awal akad dan pembayaran upah sewa yang tidak dibayarkan pada saat akad, namun hal tersebut karena alasan-alasan yang dibolehkan dalam Islam yang mengandung unsur tolong menolong selain itu kedua belah pihak telah bersepakat dan tidak ada pihak yang merasa dirugikan

Abstract

Keberadaan laboratorium bank mini syariah di sebuah institusi pendidikan tinggi dapat memberikan dampak terhadap upaya pengenalan dan edukasi mengenai gambaran produk - produk serta layanan –layanan yang ada pada industri perbankan syariah. Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis Islam (FEBI) Institut Agama Islam Negeri (IAIN) Bengkulu sebagai salah satu penyedia program pendidikan terkait perbankan syariah menyediakan laboratorium ini sebagai sarana praktik dan literasi bagi mahasiswa FEBI secara khusus dan masyarakat secara umum, akan tetapi dari waktu ke waktu tentunya unit ini menghadapi berbagai tantangan dalam menjalankan aktifitasnya. Melihat hal tersebut, penelitian ini dilakukan untuk memperoleh gambaran tentang eksistensi laboratorium bank mini syariah di lingkungan FEBI IAIN Bengkulu dan strategi-strategi yang dapat digunakan agar lebih dikenal dan diketahui oleh para pengguna dan mitra internal maupun eksternal. Metode penelitian yang dilakukan bersifat deskriptif kualitatif. Metode pengambilan data melalui observasi lapangan, wawancara terhadap 3 orang narasumber yang merepresentasikan pengelola dan pengguna, serta dokumntasi objek penelitian yang kemudian divalidasi menggunakan triangulasi data. Adapun metode analisis menggunakan content analysis terhadap hasil wawancara serta hal hal yang ditemukan di lapangan dan analisis SWOT untuk mencari strategi eksistensi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlu ada peningkatan terkait fasilitas-fasilitas untuk praktik pembelajaran, menambah anggota pengelola, melakukan promosi serta kegiatan yang juga tidak hanya menargetkan internal kampus tapi juga kegiatan yang lebih bersifat publik

Abstract

Kegiatan Ekonomi yang kita ketahui ada yang mengutungkan, tetapi selain itu ada pula kegiatan ekonomi yang justru merugikan salah satu pihak, yaitu penimbunan barang. Penimbunan barang merupakan suatu kegiatan dimana seseorang membeli barang dengan jumlah yang banyak kemudian disimpan lalu menjualkannya dengan harga yang melambung tinggi ketika barang tersebut telah sedikit ditemukan dipasaran. Dalam perspektif Islam sendiri Ikhtikar atau penimbunan barang merupakan taktik perdagangan yang dilakukan penjual untuk meraup keuntungan yang lebih besar, hal ini tentu saja mengandung banyak mudharat nya dalam kehidupan sesama manusia sebaagai makhluk sosial. Kata lain Ikhtikar dalam perspektif Islam adalah monopoli, maka dari itu ikhtikar sangat dilarang dalam agama Islam, tentunya dalam menjalankan bisnis ataupun dalam mencari rezeki, karena hanya menguntungkan satu pihak saja. Ikhtikar merupakan sesuatu yang harus dicegah dalam sistem pasar. Oleh karena itu sebaiknya pemerintah harus menjaga sistem pasar yang didalamnya termasuk melarang ikhtikar bagi pelaku pasar. Tujuan dari dilakukannya penilitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui pengaruh penimbunan barang bagi sistem ekonomi itu seperti apa, dan juga untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor apa saja yang menyebabkan seserorang tersebut atau terjadinya penimbunan barang atau ikhtikar, dan seperti apa konsep dasar penimbunan barang/ ihktikar secara umum. Serta bagaimana implikasi dari penimbunan barang itu pada perekonomian.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of the bazaar as a strategic means in increasing the credibility of Leny Bumpak Batik Weaving as a leading local product. In the face of increasingly fierce market competition, MSMEs need to build consumer trust through effective promotional media. The bazaar was chosen as the main medium because it provides opportunities for direct interaction with consumers, introducing products widely, and building a positive brand image. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method with data collection techniques through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The results show that active participation in the bazaar significantly increases public trust in product quality, expands customer networks, and strengthens brand positioning in the local market. This research recommends that MSMEs make the bazaar an integral part of their long-term marketing strategy.

Abstract

Leny Bumpak Weaving is one of the unique cultural heritages of Bengkulu Province which has historical, aesthetic, and economic value. Unfortunately, its popularity and use as a cultural attraction can still be considered low. This study aims to analyze the role of education and promotion of Leny Bumpak Weaving as a cultural attraction in Bengkulu Province. The methods used are participatory, educational, and collaborative approaches involving craftsmen, collaboration centers, the younger generation, and the wider community. The findings of this study indicate that Leny Bumpak Weaving has an important role in preserving local culture and developing cultural tourism in Bengkulu Province. Recommendations provided include improving digital-based promotional strategies and collaboration with tourism industry players. This study is expected to be a foundation for the development of Leny Bumpak Weaving as a cultural symbol and leading tourist attraction in Bengkulu.

Abstract

Leny Bumpak Weaving Craft is a local cultural heritage from Seluma Regency, Bengkulu, which has high historical and aesthetic value. However, limitations in digital promotion and marketing strategies have caused this woven product to be less widely known, especially in today's digital era. This activity aims to increase sales and distribution of Leny Bumpak weaving through Digital Marketing based on the strategies carried out. The approach taken is educational and participatory which actively involves participants in the process of activities starting from identifying problems to implementing predetermined programs. The results of the study showed that the digital marketing strategy carried out had a very positive effect on sales and distribution of Leny Bumpak weaving.

Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play an important role in the Indonesian economy, including in empowering rural communities. Leny Bumpak Tenun, as one of the MSMEs, has challenges in expanding its market reach due to limited digital marketing strategies and product innovation. This community service activity aims to support the development of Leny Bumpak Tenun through marketing strategies, namely creating a website as a digital promotional media, implementing a bazaar to introduce and sell products directly, and knitting craft training to increase product variety and empower local communities. The implementation method includes creating a website that displays a product catalog and ordering system, technical training in website management, and knitting training that produces creative products such as key chains and accessories. The results of the activity showed an increase in brand awareness, community skills, and wider market potential, making this approach effective in supporting the sustainability of locally-based MSMEs.

Abstract

Leny Bumpak woven crafts are a local cultural heritage from Seluma Regency, Bengkulu, known for their high historical and aesthetic value. However, limitations in promotional strategies and marketing have resulted in low public awareness of these traditional products, especially in today's digital era. This community service project aims to design digital content and provide training for weavers in utilizing marketplaces and social media as tools for promotion and market expansion.The methods used include observation, interviews, hands-on training, and assistance in operating platforms such as Shopee and TikTok. The results show that artisans successfully improved their skills in creating engaging visual content, managing online stores, and actively promoting their products through social media. Digital content utilization proved effective in increasing audience engagement and enhancing product competitiveness in the national market.Through this training, it is expected that the artisans will be able to preserve local cultural values while adapting to technological advancements, thus supporting the sustainability of traditional weaving businesses.
