Abstract

Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji kontroversi kebijakan pendidikan yang diberlakukan oleh Gubernur Jawa Barat, Dedi Mulyadi, sejak pelantikannya pada Februari 2025. Beberapa kebijakan seperti larangan study tour, penghapusan tugas rumah (PR), pemberlakuan jam masuk sekolah lebih awal, hingga pelatihan militer bagi siswa bermasalah, menuai pro dan kontra dari masyarakat. Melalui metode studi pustaka, tulisan ini menganalisis kebijakan tersebut menggunakan teori kebijakan publik dan prinsip-prinsip dasar pendidikan. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan top-down yang diterapkan kurang melibatkan partisipasi pemangku kepentingan secara memadai, meski dalam beberapa aspek mendapatkan dukungan dari masyarakat. Tulisan ini merekomendasikan perlunya evaluasi partisipatif dan pelibatan semua pihak dalam penyusunan kebijakan pendidikan.

Abstract

In this modern day, the number of different ways of learning in addition to being in the classroom, one of them is learning through Google Classroom. This type of research was a qualitative research in the form of field research. Arabic lectures were conducted by using Google Classroom media and administrated by six different classes in non-language study program environments. This study showed that this application can help and facilitate the lecturers and students in carrying out the learning process in depth. This was because both students and lecturers can collect the assignments, distribute the assignments, and assess the assignments at home or anywhere without being bound by time limits or hours of study.

Abstract

This research is aimed at revealing the existence of new alternatives in translation teaching media. Translation teaching media is still strongly suspected to be dominated by the use of dictionaries, both in print such as Munawir, Munjid, Mahmud Yunus, and digital dictionaries like al-Maany, Google Translate, and other applications. The alternative media offered is social media such as Twitter (X). Social media usually used in public communication can be utilized as an alternative for translation learning. How to utilize social media such as Twitter in translation learning? How accurate is social media in teaching Arabic-Indonesian or Indonesian-Arabic translation? This research falls under the category of qualitative research when viewed from the source of text data used. The method used in the research is descriptive qualitative method. The researcher will systematically present examples of using social media (Twitter) in translation learning. The data source in this study is tweets in Arabic language on Twitter. The results of this study indicate that Twitter can be an alternative translation teaching media. The auto-translate system available on Twitter provides several advantages in translation teaching, such as access to authentic and contemporary materials, development of translation speed and accuracy, exercise in finding equivalent words that are currently trending in the Arab world. However, the translations displayed by the auto-translate system on Twitter still need to be considered because there are various contexts that machine translators cannot read.

Abstract

Kurikulum merupakan elemen krusial dalam sistem pendidikan yang mempengaruhi kualitas pembelajaran. MIN 14 Al-Azhar Asy-Syarif Indonesia, sebagai salah satu institusi pendidikan yang terhubung dengan Al-Azhar Mesir, memiliki tanggung jawab untuk mengadaptasi kurikulum yang sesuai dengan standar pendidikan Islam. Penelitian ini berfokus pada bagaimana prinsip-prinsip pengembangan kurikulum diimplementasikan untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan di MIN 14 Al-Azhar Asy-Syarif Indonesia. Menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus, data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan analisis dokumen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa prinsip orientasi pada tujuan, relevansi, efisiensi, fleksibilitas, kontinuitas, keseimbangan, keterpaduan, dan mutu telah diterapkan dengan baik, meskipun masih ada tantangan terkait sumber daya dan pelatihan guru.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic to date has caused learning to be carried out remotely to prevent further transmission of the virus. The use of Google Classroom is a solution for learning fiqh lughah online at this critical time. So far, there are still few studies that examine student perceptions of online learning of fiqh lughah. Therefore, this study aims to investigate student perceptions of online learning of fiqh lughah using Google Classroom. This research is exploratory, investigative research with 33 students as the subject. All exploratory data were analyzed using descriptive statistical techniques by adopting several steps: tabulating the Microsoft Excel application data, adding a percentage score to the data, and presenting the analyzed data in a summary table. These findings reveal that distance learning using Google Classroom gets a positive response from students even though they have to adapt more intensely to be comfortable with the learning process. Therefore, learning fiqh lughah through Google Classroom should be considered as an alternative media for online learning.

Abstract

Pendidikan Islam yang bersumber kepada Alquran dan as-sunnah adalah menjadi pendidikan yang sangat jelas bagi seluruh manusia melalui syariat Islam, karena akal manusia dengan kelebihannya mampu menggapai kebenaran, tetapi akal tetaplah sebagai alat yang kadang-kadang berada pada kebenaran dan pada kesalahan, hal itu terjadi karena pengaruh pengalaman, lingkungan, dan berbagai informasi yang diterima. Nabi Muhammad SAW, pernah memberikan sabda tentang pendidikan yang artinya “Didiklah anak-anakmu sekalian karena mereka diciptakan untuk pada masa mereka bukan untuk masa kamu” (Al-Hadis).

Abstract

Tulisan ini berupaya mendeskripsikan tentang profil guru ideal menurut Islam dan bagaimana upaya yang dapat dilakukan untuk menghasilkan guru yang berkualitas sehingga mampu mendidik umat ini agar menjadi umat terbaik. Guru ideal menurut Islam adalah guru yang mewarisi akhlaq Nabi Muhammad SAW, yang memiliki cirriciri jujur, sabar, adil, amanah, dermawan, istiqomah, pemberani, zuhud, rendah hati, pemaaf, penuh kasih sayang, visioner, ulil albab, komitmen, dan kompeten. Untuk menghasilkan guru yang ideal perlu ada terobosan baru, yaitu menjaring calon-calon yang berkualitas, kemudian didik dengan system dan kurikulum yang mengacu pada pembentukan guru ideal.

Abstract

Inclusive education is a fundamental right of every individual and has become a global and national agenda. In Indonesia, although a legal framework has been established, the implementation of inclusive education still faces significant challenges, particularly in relation to regulations, infrastructure, and human resources. This study aims to analyze the readiness of the education system in Indonesia in implementing inclusive education through a qualitative literature review approach. Data were collected from various scientific literature, government policies, and related reports. Data analysis was conducted through three main stages, namely information extraction from selected sources, data classification into key themes, and critical synthesis to formulate comprehensive conclusions. The results of the study indicate that the main obstacles include the misalignment of central and regional regulations, lack of infrastructure accessibility, limited teacher competence, and social stigma. Synergy between policy, infrastructure investment, human resource capacity building, and school culture change is needed to achieve optimal inclusive education. Research recommendations include regulatory harmonization, adequate budget allocation, ongoing teacher training, and public awareness campaigns

Abstract

This study examines the influence of generative artificial intelligence (AI) on student engagement and academic outcomes in Arabic language learning through a quantitative descriptive survey design that captures learners’ perceptions of AI-assisted instruction. Participants were students engaged in Arabic language learning contexts who had used generative AI tools to support their studies. The findings show that learners perceived AI as most effective in facilitating access to learning materials and enhancing vocabulary acquisition, while its role in sustaining focus and supporting writing skill development received the lowest ratings. Qualitative findings further indicate that students valued AI for its immediacy, flexibility, and personalized feedback, alongside concerns about overreliance and reduced depth of engagement. Overall, the results suggest that while generative artificial intelligence provides meaningful pedagogical support in Arabic language learning—particularly for vocabulary development and resource accessibility—intentional instructional guidance remains necessary to address its limitations, contributing novel mixed-methods evidence to the underexplored field of AI-assisted Arabic as a second language learning.   Penelitian ini mengkaji pengaruh kecerdasan buatan generatif (AI) terhadap keterlibatan siswa dan hasil akademik dalam pembelajaran bahasa Arab melalui desain survei deskriptif kuantitatif yang menangkap persepsi siswa terhadap instruksi yang didukung AI. Peserta penelitian adalah siswa yang terlibat dalam konteks pembelajaran bahasa Arab dan telah menggunakan alat kecerdasan buatan generatif untuk mendukung studi mereka. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peserta didik menganggap AI paling efektif dalam memfasilitasi akses ke bahan pembelajaran dan meningkatkan penguasaan kosakata, sementara perannya dalam mempertahankan fokus dan mendukung pengembangan keterampilan menulis mendapatkan penilaian terendah. Temuan kualitatif lebih lanjut menunjukkan bahwa siswa menghargai kecerdasan buatan (AI) karena kecepatan, fleksibilitas, dan umpan balik yang dipersonalisasi, meskipun ada kekhawatiran tentang ketergantungan berlebihan dan berkurangnya kedalaman keterlibatan. Secara keseluruhan, hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa meskipun kecerdasan buatan generatif memberikan dukungan pedagogis yang berarti dalam pembelajaran bahasa Arab—terutama dalam pengembangan kosakata dan aksesibilitas sumber daya—panduan instruksional yang terencana tetap diperlukan untuk mengatasi keterbatasannya, sehingga memberikan bukti baru berbasis metode campuran dalam bidang yang belum banyak dieksplorasi mengenai pembelajaran bahasa Arab sebagai bahasa kedua dengan bantuan kecerdasan buatan.
