Abstract

TPACK-based learning (Technology Pedagogical Content Knowledge) is an alternative strategy in the online-based learning process. This has an impact on the selection of learning activities, media as well as improving the quality of teaching pedagogy, so it is necessary to map the TPACK learning process based on the students’ perceptions who have participated in the TPACK-based learning Arabic. This study aims to identify student responses to the TPACK-based learning process with several categories. This study uses an exploratory research design by adopting questionnaire consisting of 27 statement items covering the 7 TPACK sub-domains. The questions were distributed via google form to 129 students, the analysis applied descriptive statistical techniques. The research findings show that the implementation of Arabic learning based on TPACK framework utilise indicators such as the use of online media, the application of online-based classroom administration, the availability of online learning resources, and the improvement of teaching pedagogy based on teaching technology. Through the integration of technology, pedagogy, content knowledge, it can accelerate the process of acquiring and increasing student Arabic productivity. This study recommends further research to identify the application and effectiveness of using technology, content and pedagogy separately.

Abstract

Hubungan sosial merupakan interaksi antara individu atau kelompok yang terjadi dalam konteks sosial. Ini mencakup cara individu saling berkomunikasi, bertindak, dan mempengaruhi satu sama lain dalam berbagai situasi sosial. Panti sosial merupakan lembaga yang berperan penting dalam memberikan perlindungan, perawatan, dan pendidikan bagi anak-anak yang kehilangan pengasuhan orang tua. Dalam penelitian ini kami ingin mengetahui lebih lanjut tentang dinamika interaksi sosial yang terjadi antara Warga Binaan Sosial dan Staf dalam lingkungan Panti Sosial Asuhan Anak Putra Utama 3. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk memperoleh wawasan yang komprehensif akan interaksi sosial yang terjadi di dalam panti, serta untuk memahami persepsi serta pengalaman penghuni dan staf terkait dengan dinamika ini. Dan dapat mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi interaksi sosial, tantangan yang dihadapi, dan peluang untuk meningkatkan hubungan sosial yang positif antara penghuni dan staf. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Creswell mengatakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif adalah pendekatan penelitian yang bertujuan untuk menggambarkan atau menjelaskan fenomena secara rinci dan mendalam. Pendekatan ini berfokus pada pemahaman mendalam terhadap konteks, perspektif, dan pengalaman individu atau kelompok yang terlibat dalam penelitian. Lokasi penelitian yang dijadikan objek kajian ini adalah Panti Sosial Asuhan Anak Putra Utama 3 Duren Sawit yang berlokasi Jl. Swadaya Raya No.100, RT.3/RW.5, Duren Sawit, Kec. Duren Sawit, Kota Jakarta Timur, DKI Jakarta. Terdapat hubungan sosial yang positif antara warga binaan sosial dan staf di Panti Sosial Anak Asuhan Putra Utama 3. Warga binaan sosial merasakan keakraban, perasaan nyaman, dan dukungan emosional yang penting yang diberikan oleh staf.

Abstract

TikTok as a short video-based social media platform has become a global trend that affects various aspects of life, including student behavior. This research aims to analyze how the TikTok application contributes to changes in student behavior, both from the positive and negative sides. This research uses a qualitative approach with in-depth interview methods and content analysis to understand TikTok usage patterns. Research results reveal that TikTok plays a role in encouraging creativity, changing communication patterns, and influencing student lifestyles. However, this application also has a negative impact, such as the emergence of dependence, decreased productivity, and exposure to inappropriate content. This study emphasizes the importance of digital literacy to maximize the positive impact of using TikTok and reduce its negative impact. This finding is expected to be a guide for educational institutions and the community in responding to the development of social media wisely.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of digital marketing strategies through endorsement content on Instagram on increasing the Golden Black Coffee business, owned by Tasya Farasya. This study adopts the approach of media economic theory, social influence theory, and integrated marketing communications (IMC) to understand how promotional strategies can influence consumer behavior, especially among the younger generation. Research data was obtained through direct observation, interviews with the Golden Black Coffee marketing team, and collection of relevant documentation. KPI 5D students were selected as the target audience to understand the response to this marketing strategy. The results of the study show that Instagram as a social media platform makes a significant contribution to building brand awareness, increasing product appeal, and expanding market reach. Endorsement by Tasya Farasya has proven effective in creating emotional connections with consumers through an attractive visual approach and storytelling that is relevant to the lifestyle of the younger generation. The findings also show that the credibility and appeal of influencers play an important role in increasing trust in products and driving purchasing decisions. In addition, content diversification strategies, such as the use of Instagram Reels and Stories features, have helped strengthen the relationship between brands and consumers. This study recommends optimizing marketing strategies through platform diversification, collaboration with micro-influencers, and creating more interactive and personalized visual content. By strategically utilizing the power of social media and understanding consumer needs and preferences, Golden Black Coffee can maintain its competitive position in the market while increasing customer loyalty.

Abstract

The development of digital technology has had a major impact on the way humans interact and consume information. One of the media that has a strong influence in disseminating information and global trends is YouTube. YouTube not only functions as an entertainment platform, but also as a space for users to learn, express and participate in social phenomena. Among teenagers, YouTube has become one of the main platforms for consuming popular content, with trends often being adopted and imitated en masse. Challenge video content is a form of trend that often spreads widely among users, especially through the influence of well-known content creators. In this research, researchers used an interpretive paradigm. The interpretive paradigm is a methodological approach in social research that emphasizes the subjective understanding of individuals and how they give meaning to their experiences in a particular social context. Based on the results of research conducted and the results of our interviews, it shows that the challenge phenomenon is viral among KPI 5C students, which was inspired by content on the YouTube channel Mr. Beast, is a clear example of Social Imitation Theory (Social Learning Theory). In this context, students not only imitate the pattern of challenges that provide entertainment and great prizes but also adopt creativity and innovation in their own content creation.

Abstract

Putusan Mahkamah Konstitusi (MK) terkait Perselisihan Hasil Pemilihan Umum (PHPU) Pilpres 2024 menarik perhatian publik karena menolak gugatan dari paslon 01 (Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar) dan paslon 03 (Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud MD). Dalam sidang pleno yang dipimpin oleh Ketua MK Suhartoyo pada Senin, 22 April 2024, lima dari delapan hakim konstitusi memutuskan untuk menolak gugatan tersebut, sementara tiga hakim menyampaikan dissenting opinion. Keputusan ini mengesahkan paslon 02, Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka, sebagai pemenang resmi Pilpres 2024. Respons dari paslon yang kalah menunjukkan kekecewaan, tetapi mereka menyatakan kesiapan untuk menerima putusan dan melanjutkan langkah politik mereka. Wapres terpilih, Gibran Rakabuming Raka, mengindikasikan kesiapannya untuk mengikuti arahan dari Presiden terpilih, Prabowo Subianto. Meskipun terdapat perbedaan pendapat di antara hakim konstitusi, keputusan MK diharapkan dapat diterima oleh semua pihak, menandai akhir dari proses sengketa pemilu dan membuka babak baru bagi pemerintahan yang akan datang di Indonesia.

Abstract

The digital era has presented social media as a new space for delivering da'wah messages. Ustazah Oki Setiana Dewi is one of the da'wah figures who utilizes Instagram and YouTube as the main platforms to build relationships with audiences. This research aims to answer two problem formulations: (1) How is Ustazah Oki Setiana Dewi's da'wah communication strategy on social media, especially Instagram and YouTube, in building a connection with the audience? (2) What are the forms of da'wah communication strategies applied by Ustazah Oki Setiana Dewi on the two platforms? This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with a case study method. The paradigm used is interpretivism, which focuses on a deep understanding of the meaning behind the da'wah message and the audience's response to it. The theoretical foundation used is Al-Bayayuni's da'wah communication theory, which includes three main dimensions: informative, persuasive, and expressive. The data findings show that Ustazah Oki's da'wah communication strategy on Instagram and YouTube has significant differences. On YouTube, the da'wah content is educative and in-depth, utilizing a longer duration to discuss religious topics in a structured manner. This approach fulfills the informative dimension of Al-Bayayuni's theory. Meanwhile, on Instagram, Ustazah Oki uses a more concise, emotional, and interactive approach through reels, stories, and live features, which emphasize the persuasive and expressive dimensions. In-depth discussion reveals that Ustazah Oki's strategies on both platforms reflect adaptations to the characteristics of social media and their audiences. On YouTube, the audience is more focused on in-depth religious learning, while on Instagram, they are more interested in concise and inspirational dakwah content. This shows the importance of flexibility in da'wah communication strategies to reach diverse audiences in the digital era.

Abstract

The development of digital technology has brought great changes in the world of education, especially in developing countries such as Indonesia. One solution that overcomes limited access to education is an online learning platform such as Ruangguru. This study aims to analyze the behavior of students of the Islamic Community Development Study Program (PMI) 3A towards the Clash of Champions (COC) show organized by Ruangguru on the YouTube platform, focusing on its impact on adolescent behavior patterns and learning styles. The method used is a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through interviews, observations, and documentation. The results show that there is a variation in student involvement, which is influenced by their learning interests and preferences. Some students are actively engaged, developing critical thinking and collaboration skills, while others watch the show passively. This study provides recommendations to maximize the use of COC impressions in education by involving the role of teachers and utilizing social media to expand the reach of educational content.

Abstract

This study explores the influence of media ownership by MNC Group on press freedom in Indonesia. In the context of democracy, press freedom serves as an important pillar that guarantees the public's right to obtain accurate and objective information. However, the phenomenon of media conglomerates that occurred after the 1998 reform showed that there was a concentration of ownership that could limit the diversity of information and affect the independence of journalists. Through a qualitative approach, this study analyzes how MNC Group, as one of the largest media conglomerates in Indonesia, influences news content and public opinion. The methods used include in-depth interviews, documentation studies, and observations on journalistic practices. The results of the study show that concentrated media ownership has the potential to create bias in reporting, where the media tends to side with the interests of its owners, especially when the owners have political affiliations. The study also identifies the challenges that press freedom faces in the face of media conglomerates and provides recommendations to maintain a balance between press freedom and fair media ownership regulation. This finding is expected to provide insight for policymakers and media practitioners in an effort to strengthen democracy and information disclosure in Indonesia.

Abstract

Social media has become a platform that facilitates global interaction instantly. However, with this ease of access, the phenomenon of hate speech has emerged that affects political and social dynamics. The study analyzed the trail of "Fufufafa" cases on Facebook, focusing on the impact of hate speech in political discourse on social media. The study aims to understand how hate speech is spread and received by Facebook users, as well as its impact on social polarization. Using a content analysis approach, this study identifies communication patterns related to hate speech in the case, as well as how social media reinforces those narratives. The findings suggest that hate speech is often used as a political tool to mobilize support, incite hatred, and exacerbate social polarization. The study also highlights the role of social media algorithms in accelerating the spread of negative content and increasing exposure to certain groups. Thus, the results of this study are expected to provide insight for policymakers in dealing with the problem of hate speech in the digital space, especially in the political context on social media.
