Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the adaptations made by librarians in dealing with advances in information technology at the Uthman Bin Affan library at the Muslim University of Indonesia and the obstacles faced by librarians in dealing with advances in information technology at the Uthman Bin Affan library at the Indonesian Muslim University. This study uses a descriptive type of research with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques used are through observation, interviews, and documentation. Sources of data used are primary data and secondary data. Data processing and analysis techniques are data reduction, data presentation, and verification. The results showed that the activities followed by librarians in adapting to advances in information technology at the Uthman Bin Affan library at the Muslim University of Indonesia were participating in seminars, workshops, conferences, and technical guidance related to the adaptation of librarians in the face of advances in information technology. The obstacles faced by librarians in dealing with advances in information technology are the lack of librarian initiative to participate in activities that support the adaptation of librarians in the face of advances in information technology, inadequate facilities such as internet networks, and the rapid development of information technology, making librarians overwhelmed in adapting to advances in information technology in the world. library.

Abstract

This research discusses the Utilization of Mobile Phones as a Supporting Tool for Learning in the Library of UPTD SMP Negeri 18 Sinjai. The main issues consist of two sub-problems, namely: the utilization of mobile phones as a supporting tool for learning in the library of SMP Negeri 18 Sinjai and the types of applications used in learning media in the library of SMP Negeri 18 Sinjai. This research is a qualitative study using a descriptive approach with primary data obtained through interviews, observations, documentation, and secondary data as a support for the research results as a data collection method. Data processing and analysis techniques are carried out through three stages: data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions, through tests of credibility, transferability, dependability, and confirmability. The results of this research indicate that the use of mobile phones as a learning media in the library of SMP Negeri 18 Sinjai, such as the benefits of using mobile phones in the library after the implementation of the mobile phone utilization program, has shown different results in terms of students' intelligence. Students find it easier to access school assignments, they are more active, and they read more using mobile phones because students can easily access anything through the internet. Second, the types of applications used in learning media in the library of SMP Negeri 18 Sinjai include the Indonesian National Library application (IPUSNAS), Play Book, digital novels/Wattpad, Wordpress, Macca Office 365 account, and WhatsApp, which can be accessed through mobile phones as learning materials in the library. Abstrak Penelitian ini membahas tentang Pemanfaatan Handphone sebagai Alat Pendukung Pembelajaran di Perpustakaan UPTD SMP Negeri 18 Sinjai. Pokok permasalahan terdiri dari dua sub masalah, yaitu: pemanfaatan handphone sebagai alat pendukung pembelajaran di perpustakaan SMP Negeri 18 Sinjai dan jenis aplikasi yang di gunakan dalam media pembelajaran di perpustakaan SMP Negeri 18 Sinjai Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan pendekatan dekriptif dengan data primer yang diperoleh melalui wawancara, observasi, dokumentasi dan data sekunder sebagai pendukung dari hasil penelitian sebagai metode pengumpulan data. tehnik pengolahan dan analisis data dilakukan dengan melalui tiga tahap, yaitu: reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan, melalui uji creadibility, uji transferability, uji denpandebality, uji confirmability. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Pemanfaatan handphone sebagai media pembelajaran di Perpustakaan SMP Negeri 18 Sinjai, seperti manfaat penggunaan handphone di perpustakaan setelah diterapkannya program pemanfaatan handphone terbukti hasil yang berbeda dalam hal kecerdasan siswa seperti siswa semakin mudah dalam mengakses tugas sekolah, siswa lebih aktif dan sering membaca menggunakan handphone karena di dalam handphone siswa mudah dalam mengakses apa saja melalui internet. Kedua, jenis aplikasi yang digunakan dalam media pembelajaran di Perpustakaan SMP Negeri 18 Sinjai, yaitu aplikasi Perpustakaan Nasional Repoblik Indonesia (IPUSNAS), Play Book, Novel digital/Wattpad, Wordpress, Akun Macca Office 365, dan Whatsapp yang dapat diakses melalui handphone sebagai bahan untuk pembelajaran di perpustakaan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji persepsi mahasiswa Fakultas Adab dan Humaniora UIN Alauddin Makassar terkait literasi informasi keislaman yang diperoleh melalui media sosial. Dengan menggunakan metode survei, data dikumpulkan dari 102 mahasiswa melalui kuesioner yang mencakup pertanyaan mengenai frekuensi akses, platform yang digunakan, kualitas konten, serta keterlibatan interaktif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas responden mengakses konten keislaman di media sosial dengan frekuensi yang cukup tinggi, terutama melalui platform Instagram dan TikTok. Sebagian besar mahasiswa menilai kualitas konten keislaman sebagai baik dan merasa bahwa informasi tersebut membantu dalam memperdalam pemahaman mereka tentang Islam. Meskipun mahasiswa kadang-kadang memverifikasi informasi yang diterima, mereka menganggap penting adanya pengawasan terhadap konten keislaman di media sosial. Penelitian ini juga mengungkapkan bahwa mahasiswa melihat media sosial sebagai sumber informasi keislaman yang menarik dan memiliki potensi untuk memperkuat literasi keagamaan. Temuan ini menekankan perlunya upaya lebih lanjut dalam meningkatkan keterampilan verifikasi dan literasi informasi keislaman di kalangan mahasiswa, guna memanfaatkan media sosial secara efektif dan bertanggung jawab.Kata kunci: Literasi informasi, Keislaman, Media Sosial

Abstract

Di tengah arus modernisasi dan globalisasi, praktik keagamaan di tingkat komunitas menghadapi berbagai tantangan, terutama dalam hal kesinambungan, kualitas, dan keteladanan. Kabupaten Bulukumba, sebagai daerah yang dikenal memiliki identitas religius yang kuat, memerlukan kehadiran aktor-aktor sosial keagamaan yang mampu memperkuat nilai-nilai Islam dalam kehidupan masyarakat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kontribusi santri tahfiz RTQ Imaman Arrasyid dalam kehidupan keagamaan masyarakat, menganalisis peran strategis mereka dalam membina umat, serta mengevaluasi dampak sosial dan spiritual dari keterlibatan mereka di ruang publik religius. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan strategi studi kasus, data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipatif, dan dokumentasi aktivitas santri di berbagai arena sosial-keagamaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa para santri aktif mengambil peran sebagai imam, khatib, qari, pembina tahfiz, peserta dan juara lomba MTQ, serta pelaksana kegiatan keagamaan di tingkat komunitas. Kehadiran mereka mendapat respons positif dari masyarakat karena dinilai mampu menguatkan atmosfer spiritual serta menghidupkan kembali peran sosial masjid dan aktivitas keagamaan lintas generasi. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa santri tahfiz memiliki potensi besar sebagai agen dakwah kultural sekaligus penguat praktik Islam berbasis komunitas. Kontribusi penelitian ini tidak hanya memperkaya kajian tentang peran santri dalam masyarakat, tetapi juga memberikan landasan konseptual dan praktis bagi pengembangan pendidikan tahfiz yang menyatu dengan dinamika sosial-keagamaan lokal

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the implementation of the Tahfiz Al-Qur'an Program in high school students in Bulukumba Regency, especially at SMAN 1 Bulukumba and MAN 2 Bulukumba, using the CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product) evaluation model. The main purpose of this study is to assess the effectiveness of the program in improving students' memorization skills, comprehension, and religious character formation, as well as identifying supporting and inhibiting factors in its implementation. This study uses a qualitative approach with a multi-location case study method. Data was collected through interviews with tahfiz teachers, students, and principals, observations of tahfiz activities, and program documentation. The results of the analysis showed that the program received support from schools, parents, and external institutions, despite differences in resources between the two schools. The implementation process runs routinely, but still faces obstacles in terms of time allocation and limited facilities. In general, the program has a positive impact on improving Qur'an memorization, student involvement in religious activities, and character building. This research shows the importance of optimizing facilities, teacher training, and integrating tahfiz programs in the curriculum in order to contribute more to the spiritual and moral development of students at the secondary level.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the stages of the application of the Law on Public Information Openness and the obstacles faced by the Library and Archives Office of East Luwu Regency. This research uses descriptive research using a qualitative approach. This research was conducted at the Department of Library and Archives of East Luwu Regency. Methods of data collection through interviews, observation and documentation. The results showed the stages of implementing the Public Information Openness Law at the East Luwu Regency Library and Archives Service, namely through three stages. The three stages are analyzing information based on Law Number 14 of 2008 concerning public information disclosure; information is analyzed again based on the rules of the National Archives of the Republic of Indonesia (ANRI); and publish on the official website of the East Luwu Regency Library and Archives Service. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian deskriptif menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Dinas Perpustakaan dan Kearsipan Kabupaten Luwu Timur. Metode pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tahapan penerapan Undang-Undang Keterbukaan Informasi Publik pada Dinas Perpustakaan dan Kearsipan Kabupaten Luwu Timur, yaitu melalui tiga tahap. Ketiga tahap tersebut adalah menganalisis informasi berdasarkan Undang-Undang Nomor 14 tahun 2008 tentang keterbukaan informasi publik; informasi dianalisis kembali berdasarkan aturan Arsip Nasional Republik Indonesia (ANRI); dan mempublikasikan pada website resmi Dinas Perpustakaan dan Kearsipan Kabupaten Luwu Timur. Adapun kendala yang dihadapi, yaitu kurangnya sumber daya manusia yang berkompeten, serta sarana prasarana yang kurang lengkap.

Abstract

This study investigates congregants’ perceptions of the presence and function of mosque libraries and examines the factors that influence their effectiveness as centers of Islamic literacy. A qualitative research design was employed in three major mosques in South Sulawesi: the 99 Domes Asmaul Husna Mosque in Makassar, the Syekh Yusuf Lakiung Mosque in Gowa, and the Grand Mosque of Maros. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews with eight purposively selected participants, and analysis of library management documentation. The findings reveal that although congregants generally demonstrate strong awareness of mosque libraries, their actual engagement with these facilities remains limited. Some view the library as an important source of religious knowledge, while others rely more heavily on oral learning through sermons. Several factors were identified as barriers to optimal use, including limited accessibility, lack of promotion, unattractive physical environments, and outdated collections. In addition, the absence of qualified librarians hinders effective management and the sustainability of literacy programs. The implications of this study suggest that mosque library management should focus on strengthening community outreach, improving facilities and services, regularly updating collections, and integrating digital resources to attract younger audiences. Overall, the findings highlight the untapped potential of mosque libraries as community-based centers of Islamic literacy that can foster lifelong religious learning, promote a culture of reading among Muslims, and enhance the mosque’s educational and social roles within society.
