Abstract

Latar Belakang: Kecemasan mahasiswa dapat mempengaruhi ke hal yang negatif dan strategi mekanisme koping dibutuhkan mahasiswa untuk memotivasi diri sendiri selama masa pandemi Covid-19. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan bagaimana gambaran kecemasan dan strategi mekanisme koping mahasiswa selama masa pandemi Covid-19. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian deskriftif dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Sampel penelitan diambil dengan metode proportional stratified random sampling sebanyak 73 responden. Data diambil dengan kuesioner via google form dan dianalisis melalui distribusi frekuensi dan persentase. Hasil: Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kecemasan mahasiswa selama masa pandemi Covid-19 mayoritas berada pada tingkat berat yaitu sebanyak 44 (60.2%) responden dan strategi mekanisme koping mahasiswa selama masa pandemi Covid-19 mayoritas berada pada koping adaptif yaitu sebanyak 37 (50.5%) responden. Saran: Peneliti selanjutnya dapat melakukan penelitian terkait hubungan kecemasan dan strategi mekanisme koping mahasiswa selama masa pandemi covid-19.

Abstract

Introduction: Non-Communicable Diseases (NCD) is the highest cause of death in Indonesia. The increase in non-communicable diseases prevalence is related to unhealthy lifestyles, including smoking, consumption of alcoholic beverages, lack of physical activity, and consumption of fruits and vegetables. CERDIK is a form of Indonesia government activity program to improve the prevention and management of non-communicable diseases. CERDIK consists of a series of health check activities, building non-smoking or smoking cessation behavior, diligent physical activity, a balanced diet, adequate rest, and being able to manage stress. This review literature aims to provide an overview of the effectiveness of CERDIK in efforts to improve non-communicable diseases control in Indonesia. Methods: The method used in this systematic review began with the selection of topics, then the keyword was determined to search for journals using English through several databases, including Science direct, Ebscho, Pro-Quest, and Google Scholar. Results: 6 articles mentioned that CERDIK was effective in increasing non-communicable diseases prevention and control behavior both in terms of cognitive, attitude and skills. While 2 other articles mention the successful implementation of the government program "CERDIK" in the field in controlling non-communicable diseases. Conclusion: The CERDIK program is effective in increasing non-communicable diseases control. Keywords: CERDIK; effectivity; non-communicable diseases ABSTRAK Pendahuluan: Penyakit Tidak Menular (PTM) menjadi penyebab kematian tertinggi di Indonesia. Kenaikan prevalensi PTM ini berhubungan dengan pola hidup yang tidak sehat, antara lain merokok, konsumsi minuman beralkohol, aktivitas fisik yang kurang, serta konsumsi buah dan sayur yang kurang. CERDIK adalah salah satu bentuk program kegiatan pemerintah untuk meningkatkan pencegahan dan penatalaksanaan penyakit tidak menular. CERDIK terdiri dari rangkaian kegiatan cek kesehatan, membangun perilaku tidak merokok atau berhenti merokok, rajin aktivitas fisik, diet seimbang, istirahat yang cukup, dan mampu mengelola stre. Tujun literatur review ini untuk memberikan gambaran mengenai efektivitas CERDIK dalam upaya meningkatkan pengendalian PTM di Indonesia. Metode: Metode yang digunakan dalam systematic review ini diawali dengan pemilihan topik, kemudian ditentukan keyword untuk pencarian jurnal menggunakan Bahasa Inggris melalui beberapa database antara lain Science direct, Ebscho, Pro Quest dan google scholar. Hasil: 6 artikel menyebutkan CERDIK efektif dalam peningkatan perilaku pencegahan dan pengendalian PTM baik dari segi kognitf, sikap, maupun keterampilan. Sedangkan 2 artikel lainnya menyebutkan keberhasilan pelaksanaan program pemerintah “CERDIK” di lapangan dalam pengendalian PTM. Kesimpulan: program CERDIK efektif dalam meningkatkan pengendalian PTM. Kata kunci: CERDIK; efektivitas; penyakit tidak menular

Abstract

Landslides as a natural disaster often occur due to the movement of landmasses. Lack of community preparedness in facing disasters is one of the significant risk factors for catastrophe. This study aimed to determine the effectiveness of education using WhatsApp on community preparedness to face landslides. This research is a quasi-experimental study with a pre-post test design with a control group. The number of samples was 30 people taken by simple random and divided into treatment and control groups. The treatment group was given educational intervention with WAG media (WhatsApp Group), while the control group was assigned a P2P (Picture to Picture) intervention. Preparedness data in the form of knowledge and attitudes were analyzed using the Mann-Whitney test. The results showed that statistically, there was no difference in preparedness to face landslides through WAG or P2P. However, there was an increase in readiness through knowledge and attitudes in both groups. Education about landslide preparedness through WAG or P2P has the same effect in increasing public knowledge and perspectives. The information received through WAG or P2P will ultimately influence a person's experience and attitudes regarding landslide disaster preparedness.

Abstract

Minta banyu termasuk dalam salah satu pengobatan tradional dengan menggunakan air yang sudah dibacakan ayat suci Al-quran sebagai media. Efikasi diri berperan dalam pencarian pengobatan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran efikasi diri masyarakat tentang minta banyu untuk pengobatan di Martapura. Desain penelitian dalam penelitian ini menggunakan design penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Sampel pada penelitian ini diambil dengan metode simple random sampling sebanyak 100 responden di wilayah kerja puskesmas Martapura 1, Puskesmas Martapura 2, dan Puskesmas Martapura Timur. Data dianalisis melalui distribusi frekuensi dan prosentase. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan efikasi diri masyarakat tentang minta banyu untuk pengobatan di Martapura berada pada kategori sedang yaitu 57 responden (57%). Penelitian selanjutnya diharapkan dapat  meneliti lebih jauh dan dalam lagi terkait faktor-faktor yang berhubungan.

Abstract

The drowning emergency is associated with respiratory and cardiovascular problems. Increasing public knowledge to provide first aid needs to be implemented. This study aimed to improve the ability of coastal communities to provide essential life support through participant modeling. The research design used was a quasi-experiment with a one-group pre-post test design approach. The number of samples in this study was 34 respondents. The research was conducted by determining the five models given. Then the model provides education and basic life support training to the respondents. The variables of this study were participant modeling and the ability to provide essential life support. The instrument used was the standard operating procedure for basic life support and observation sheets, and the research analysis used was the paired t-test.This study's results indicate that giving the participant modeling action has an effect and increases the average value of the respondents' knowledge and skills after being given these actions. Participant modeling can improve cognitive, self-confidence, and skills to form new behaviors, such as providing essential life support.

Abstract

Nursing education is one of the educations whose learning process through E-Learning during the covid-19 pandemic. The Canva application is an Android-based website that can be used as an online interactive learning medium. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effectiveness of the Canva application as an interactive learning medium for knowledge and practice of the anatomy and physiology of the respiratory and cardiovascular systems. This study is quasi-experimental with a pre-posttest approach with a control group. The sample in this study was 88 first-semester students of the Department of Nursing who were divided into two groups by simple random sampling. The research instruments used were questionnaires and observation sheets, and the results of this study were analyzed by the Mann-Whitney test, independent t-test, and N-Gain test. This study showed an increase in the average knowledge (p = 0.04) and practice (p = 0.012) in the group that was given the Canva Application media. However, in this study, the Canva application was ineffective as an interactive medium for learning anatomy and physiology (N-Gain = 30%). It is because learning with Canva can be affected by internet access, the ability of smartphone users, network availability, and internet quota.

Abstract

The online learning process for nursing students during the Covid-19 pandemic provides a lot of room for educational actors to innovate. This online learning innovation is still considered good being implemented by educational actors even though the pandemic has been declared over. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors that influence the learning achievement of nursing students. This research was a descriptive analysis research with a cross sectional approach. Respondents in this study were 88 nursing students from the Maluku Health Polytechnic. The independent variables are the characteristics of the respondents which consist of gender, age, residential area, and last type of education. While the dependent variable is student learning outcomes. The results of this study show that gender, age, and the last type of education do not affect the results of online learning outcomes. Only residential area had an influence on online learning outcomes (p <0.05). The educational background in remote, border and island areas was usually known for various complex problems, one of which is the lack of facilities and infrastructure. The ability of nursing students to operate online learning media through devices is also inseparable from the learning outcomes.

Abstract

Banyak inovasi di bidang Pendidikan kesehatan yang lahir sebagai dampak positif pandemic yang diterapkan saat ini. Salah satunya adalah modul elektronik. Modul elektornik merupakan media pembelajaran yang dapat digunakan dalam pembelajaran daring (dalam jaringan) di bidang kesehatan. Modul elektronik juga sebagai bentuk adaptasi terhadap kemajuan teknologi saat ini. Sehingga diperlukan peningkatan keterampilan pendidik seperti guru dalam membuat modul elektronik. Peningkatan kemampuan dan keterampilan membuata modul elektronik dapat dilakukan melalui kegiatan pelatihan dengan memanfaatkan platform Canva. Kegiatan pelatihan terdiri dari beberapa metode seperti metode ceramah, diskusi dan demonstrasi atau praktik langsung. Sehingga kegiatan pelatihan tidak hanya meningkatkan aspek pengetahuan saja, tetapi juga aspek afektif dan psikomotor. Sehingga capaian pelatihan tidak hanya meningkatkan pengetahuan peserta saja, tetapi juga berupa kemampuan peserta dalam menyusun atau membuat bahan ajar seperti modul elektronik dengan memanfaatkan platform Canva. Tidak hanya itu, melalui pelatihan juga peserta dapat mengeksplorasi manfaat canva lainnya dalam membuat bahan ajar bidang kesehatan.

Abstract

Abstract : Triage is an important thing to do in emergency unit installation. It is used to determine priority of emergency management to allow medical team handling patients whom need quick management accurately and being capable of improving life opportunity of the patient. Triage begins since a patient enters emergency unit where its nurses assess based on subjective and objective reviews quickly and accurately. However, this process requires supportive knowledge, experience, education, and working environment in determining priority of the patients. This research aims to identify factors correlating to triage decision making of the nurses in Lombok Nusa Tenggara Barat emergency unit. It is an analytic observational research with cross sectional approach by taking 135 respondents. The findings showed correlation among knowledge, experience, education, and working environment to triage decision making with each p score is 0.000. The most influential variable is knowledge with coefficient B 5.204. Knowledge, experience, education, and working environment influenced triage decision making. It is also expected to have standard requirement for nurses working in triage room so triage may run maximally.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic also has an impact on the transition from conventional education to digital education. Digital learning requires software as a medium during the learning process. Currently, the most widely used media in teaching nursing practice is social media in the form of WhatsApp and Telegram. The effectiveness of the implementation of cooperative learning, one of which is the STAD model in improving the quality of learning. The purpose of conducting research on improving the ability of nursing students in answering various Competency Test questions through the STAD model approach by utilizing social media WhatsApp. This study was a quasi-experimental study (quasi-experimental) with a research design in the form of a pre-posttest design with a control group (pretest-posttest control design) involving two groups, namely the treatment group and the control group. Both were given a pretest, and a posttest about learning the STAD method with WhatsApp media and was given an intervention. The study was conducted on July 14 to September 27, 2021 as many as 60 people. The results of the study stated that there was a significant difference in the ability to answer questions about the research subjects of the intervention and control groups in learning through WhatsApp online media (p <0.05). The increase in the average delta ability to answer competency test questions with the STAD method is better than without going through the STAD method, with d value of 56.95.
