Abstract

This study aims to describe the management of learning for children with special needs in EFATA PAUD (Early Childhood Education), Semarang. In addition, this study also aims to determine the supporting and inhibiting factors in learning in the EFATA PAUD, Semarang. The method in this research is descriptive qualitative research method with a case study design based on the theory of Ley Kekeh Marthan. Data collection is carried out through interviews, observation and documentation techniques. Observations are made to find out the phenomena associated with the management of learning in the classroom starting from the preliminary activities to the final activities. The observations are followed up by interviewing educators in the EFATA PAUD. The documents collected function as supporting data. Then the validity of the data is seen using triangulation. The results of the analysis of the data that the management of learning for children with special needs in PAUD EFATA Semarang City is related to learning planning, organizing, managing, and evaluating learning that refers to Ley Kekeh Martan's theory in the book on Inclusive Education Management and PAUD standards in Permendikbud No. 137 of 2014. Learning planning includes the application of the 2013 PAUD curriculum, area learning models, practice-based learning methods, visual learning media, and classroom settings based on safety and comfort aspects of play. Organizing includes carrying out the duties and responsibilities of teaching staff and education staff. The management is in the form of supervision and management of school and community relations. The evaluation includes the results of the process and learning outcomes, structured follow-up in the annual program. The management of this learning is also influenced by supporting factors in the form of guidance, and the provision of information from the HIMPAUDI (Association of Early Childhood Education in Indonesia) of Semarang City, the commitment of teachers and parents to support the achievement of institutional goals. Inhibiting factors are the unavailability of adequate facilities including the place of implementation of activities, not having private land, and institutional permits.   Keywords: Learning Management, Children with Special Needs, PAUD EFATA.

Abstract

Learning during the COVID19 pandemic through online and home learning presents several challenges and risks of learning loss that have long-term impact. The potential for learning loss can occur during online learning due to several factors due to educational stimuli not working optimally, reduced direct experience gain, differences in skills teaching of teachers in education, etc. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study design. The participants are two preschool principals and teachers who have been conducting e-learning activities since March 2020 until July 2021. Data collection was carried out through face-to-face interviews and voice notes. Data analysis using thematic analytic. The results of the study revealed that the decline in the quality of online learning faced the risk of potential learning loss in the future. The failure of online learning during this pandemic has created real barriers to some aspects of child development, namely the achievement of aspects of children's cognitive, social and emotional development. Other aspects of development are somewhat difficult for teachers to assess, but it is suspected that there has been a decline due to the limited time spent implementing e-learning. The participation rate of children and parents in online education decreased by 50% from the first semester to the second semester and the number of learning hours was very short. Efforts by schools to prevent the risk of potential learning losses include: blended learning, literacy and numeracy also visiting teacher programs.

Abstract

Pembelajaran di masa pandemi COVID19 melalui pembelajaran online dan belajar dari rumah menghadirkan beberapa tantangan dan risiko learning loss yang berdampak jangka panjang.  Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui strategi Kepala TK dalam upaya mitigasi learning loss pada siswanya. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus terhadap tiga partisipan penelitian, yaitu kepala sekolah dengan latar belakang kondisi geografis yang berbeda-beda. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik wawancara. Data yang diperoleh, dianalisa menggunakan analisis tematik. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan berbagai upaya mtigasi yang dilakukan kepala sekolah dalam mengatasi learning loss yaitu mendaftarkan sebagai sekolah penggerak, home visit dan dan menjalin sinergi aktif warga sekolah. Sekolah melaksanakan pembelajaran intrakulikuler yang beragam, serta memberikan waktu pembelajaran yang cukup guna menguatkan konsep dan capaian perkembangan tiap anak. Home visit dilakukan untuk  memberikan pembelajaran tambahan pada anak serta mengadakan rapat bulanan. Pertemuan antar warga sekolah dimaksudkan untuk menjalin sinergitas pembelajaran dan mengkomunikasikan setiap permasalahan anak

Abstract

This research aims to explore the perspectives of ECE-TEP students regarding the deepening of tenses through the MBKM English Credential Camp program at UPI Serang. The challenges of education in the modern 21st century push ECE-TEP students to possess English communication skills. This is important because English is an international language. The use of English tenses by ECE-TEP students often requires appropriate understanding and training. The ECC program is an integrated and holistic solution to enhance the use of tenses by ECE-TEP students. This research employs a qualitative descriptive approach with a case study. The primary data sources are direct questionnaires, audio recorders, and secondary data in the form of MBKM ECC program documents. Data analysis was conducted through four stages: data collection, data transcription, data categorization, and drawing conclusions. The research subjects consist of three individuals who are students of the ECC program. Participants are selected based on their academic performance in the program. The research findings indicate that the ECC program significantly contributes to improving the understanding of tenses among ECE-TEP students. This program is effective in preparing students to face the challenges of the 21st century through deepening  improving their English language skills.

Abstract

Abstrak Tingkat pengangguran di Indonesia yang cukup tinggi sangat mempengaruhi tingkat kesejahteraan masyarakat kita. Anak-anak di jalanan yang harusnya masih bisa meraih jenjang pendidikan yang tinggi justru harus harus kandas karena ekonomi keluarga yang tidak mendukung. Adapun permasalahan umur yang menjadi batasan untuk mecari kerja sehingga harus menunggu umur yang tepat agar bisa melamar pekerjaan. Dengan adanya ilmu tentang kewirausahaan disini yaitu untuk memberikan ilmu pengetahuan bagi mereka baik pengangguran lulusan sekolah maupun mahasiswa yang masih mengalami kendala dalam bekerja. Dengan memanfaatkan kreativitas yang ada sehingga hal itu setidaknya bisa membuat pengangguran, lulusan sekolah dan mahasiswa bisa mendapatkan penghasilan. Dengan menggunakan metode pelaksanaan berupa penyampaian materi mengenai business model canvas, analisis sumber daya manusia yang dimiliki, analisis ide produk dengan google trends lalu diungkapkan melalui value propotion sehingga mendapatkan hasil serta arah yang jelas mengenai usaha yang dijalankan. Setelah itu dilakukanlah kegiatan praktikum untuk membuat produk dengan satu contoh yaitu cold pressed juice yang dimana mahasiswa/i bisa memanfaatkan buah-buahan serta sayuran yang ada sehingga menghasilkan produk minuman sari buah murni tanpa campuran air atau pemanis buatan lainnya. Melalui kegiatan pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini, mahasiswa memperoleh pemahaman mendalam baik itu mengenai bisnis, pemasaran, sustainable melalui konsep bisnis cold pressed juice. Dalam kegiatan ini diharapkan bisa membekali mahasiswa dengan keterampilan seta pengetahuan yang baik untuk terjun ke dunia bisnis, menciptakan lapangan pekerjaan serta memberikan kontribusi positif untuk kemajuan ekonomi Indonesia. Kata kunci: pengabdian kepada masyarakat; value propotion canvas; google trends; bussiness idea. Abstract The relatively high unemployment rate in Indonesia greatly affects the level of welfare of our society. Children on the streets who should still be able to achieve a high level of education have to fail because the family economy is not supportive. The problem with age is that it limits them when looking for work, so they have to wait for the right age to be able to apply for a job. The existence of knowledge about entrepreneurship is here to provide knowledge for those who still experience problems in working. Utilizing existing creativity can at least enable them to earn income. By using an implementation method in the form of delivering material regarding the business model canvas, analyzing the human resources they have, analyzing product ideas using Google Trends, and then expressing them through value proportions so that they get clear results and direction regarding their business. After that, practical activities were carried out to make products with one example, namely cold pressed juice, where they could use existing fruits and vegetables to produce pure fruit juice drink products without a mixture of water or other artificial sweeteners. Through this community service activity, students gain a deep understanding of business, marketing, and sustainability through the cold-pressed juice business concept. It is hoped that this activity can equip students with good skills and knowledge to enter the business world, create jobs, and make a positive contribution to Indonesia's economic progress. Keywords: community service; value proportion canvas; google trends; business idea.

Abstract

Receptive language ability needs to be considered in early childhood, so that listening to understand the language that children hear. This study aims to describe the application of the read-aloud method in TK Islam El-Fash, South Tangerang City, its role in children's receptive language development of children aged 4-5 years. This research uses qualitative, with descriptive research methods, with 5 research participants. The data collection techniques used observation, interviews, and documentation. The result indicates the application of the read-aloud method with the teacher's consideration in choosing picture storybooks based on picture storybooks that are chosen to have fewer words, more pictures, and story content adapted to the conditions and the child's immediate environment, child involvement choosing story ideas. There are supporting factors, training that teachers have received, the availability of library space, and children's reading books. The inhibiting factors are if at the beginning of the school year, conditioning motivation is needed so that children are orderly when the teacher applies the read-aloud method and the need for a quality reading book collection. The impact of applying the read-aloud method can develop children's receptive language skills.

Abstract

Kemampuan membaca permulaan merupakan salah satu kemampuan dasar berbahasa anak usia dini yang diajarkan di lingkup sekolah. Pada usia ini mayoritas anak-anak sudah memiliki pemahaman yang cukup baik tentang jenis dan makna kata, namun mereka seringkali masih kesulitan untuk mengeja atau menyusun huruf dari kata tersebut. Untuk itu perlu dikembangkan media pembelajaran berbasis digital yang dapat dipelajari dimanapun dan kapanpun. Media ini juga diciptakan untuk menarik minat membaca dan belajar anak. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengkaji sejauh mana tingkat fungsionalitas dan kelayakan game edukasi sebagai alternatif pengenalan keaksaraan anak usia dini. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Design and Development (D&D) dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif.  “Game Development Life Cycle” (GDLC) digunakan sebagai pedoman prosedur pengembangan game edukasi pada penelitian. Penelitian ini melibatkan validator, yaitu ahli media dan ahli materi yang melakukan pengujian game untuk memastikan kualitas dan keefektifan game. Hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa pengembangan “SUKA GAME” melalui aplikasi Construct 2 sebagai media pembelajaran berbasis digital merupakan alat media yang layak untuk digunakan dalam kegiatan pembelajaran pengenalan dan melatih kemampuan aksara anak usia dini.

Abstract

Kurikulum Merdeka adalah suatu pendekatan pembelajaran inovatif yang bertujuan untuk merevolusi sistem pendidikan dengan menekankan otonomi siswa, berpikir kritis, dan kreativitas. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis kesiapan guru PAUD dalam mengimplementasikan Kurikulum Merdeka. Pendekatan Mixed Methods dengan strategi Concurrent Triangulation digunakan. Data dalam penelitian ini dianalisis dengan side-by-side comparison, menyajikan hasil statistik kuantitatif terlebih dahulu, diikuti dengan pembahasan data kualitatif untuk menentukan keselarasan atau ketidaksesuaian dengan hasil kuantitatif. Hasil analisis  menunjukkan bahwa sebanyak 94% dari total 25 guru dan kepala sekolah di KB-TK Permata Safira, TK Bona dan TK Aisyiah Bustanul Athfal Athfal 3 Serang siap menerapkan Kurikulum Merdeka. Beberapa tantangan ditemui, seperti perubahan paradigma dalam proses pengajaran dan keterbatasan dalam penggunaan teknologi pendidikan. Dukungan sekolah, pemerintah, tambahan pelatihan, dan alokasi sumber daya memadai dibutuhkan. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi pedoman praktis bagi para pendidik.

Abstract

Kemampuan pemecahan masalah penting untuk di stimulasi sejak dini agar anak dapat menyelesaikan masalah secara mandiri. Berdasarkan pra observasi kurangnya pemanfaatan media digital dalam pembelajaran, sehingga Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan aplikasi untuk menstimulasi kemampuan pemecahan masalah pada anak usia 5-6 tahun. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah design and development (D&D) dengan model pengembangan Allesi & Trollip, terdapat tiga tahapan yaitu perencanaan, desain dan pengembangan. Sumber data berupa angket, observasi, dan wawancara. Partisipan penelitian ini diantaranya validator media, materi dan guru. Teknik analisis data menggunakan deskriptif kualitatif dan deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian ini berupa aplikasi edukasi. Hasil validasi media 1&2 memperoleh sebesar 96% dan 98%, validasi materi 1&2 sebesar 100% dan 97,6% dan uji usability dari kelima aspek mendapat interpretasi sangat layak. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi MENERNAK (Mengenal Hewan Ternak) sangat layak digunakan oleh anak 5 untuk menstimulasi kemampuan pemecahan. Guru dapat menggunakan aplikasi ini untuk media pembelajaran yang menyenangkan.
