Abstract

Guru dan orang tua memiliki peranan yang sangat penting dalam pembentukan karakter, khusunya kedisiplinan pada anak usia dini. Sederhananya, kedisiplinan anak usia dini perlu dibentuk serta ditanamkan, berupa sikap taat dan patuh pada setiap aturan yang berlaku, khusunya dilingkungan sekolah dan rumah. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengatahui peran guru serta orang tua dalam pembentukan karakter dan kedisiplinan peserta didik pada anak usia dini. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif, dengan desain penelitian observasi awal, Pastisipan yang terlibat dalam penelitian ini yaitu anak usia dini/siswa Taman Kanak-kanak, Kepala Sekolah, guru, serta orang tua siswa. Data diperoleh melalui Observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Data hasil temuan di lapangan kemudian di analisi dengan langkah-langkah reduksi data, penyajian data, kemudia menarik kesimpulan/verifikasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan guru dan orang tua sangat berperan penting dalam menanamkan kedisiplinan pada anak usia dini. Peran Guru yang dilaksanakan oleh para guru mencakup beberapa indikator pembiasaan, yaitu (1) Peran guru sebagai model, (2) Peran guru sebagai pemimpin, dan (3) Peran guru sebagai penunjuk arah. Tidak hanya guru, orang tua juga memiliki peranan yang sangat penting dalam menanamkan kedisplinan pada anak usia dini, salah satunya melalui pola asuh orang tua terhadap anak. Abstract

Upaya peningkatan kemampuan motorik halus anak melalui media Maze dilakukan agar anak mampu melibatkan seluruh motorik halusnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan motorik halus anak melalui media Maze berbasis bahan bekas pada peserta didik Taman TK Tunas Harapan Kaliba Mamase. Jenis Penelitian ini yaitu Penelitian Tindakan Kelas, dengan desain penelitian perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan dan refleksi. Partisipan yang terlibat dalam penelitian ini yaitu peserta di TK Tunas Harapan Kaliba Mamase. Data diperoleh melalui observasi dan dokumentasi. Instrumen pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar observasi kemampuan motorik halus peserta didik. Data yang diperoleh di analisis menggunakan teknik deskriptif kuantitatif dengan tahapan analisis data primer dan sekunder yaitu reduksi data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan media maze berbasis bahan bekas dapat meningkatkan kemampuan motorik halus peserta didik TK Tunas Harapan. Pada siklus I kemampuan motorik halus anak mencapai persentase 46,5% kategori mulai berkembang (MB) dan pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 77% kategori berkembang sangat baik (BSB).

Abstract

This study aims to determine religious moderation education and the existence of cultural hybridization among university students. The subjects of this study were 50 students who were taking ma'had al-jami'a, in semester 2. The data were obtained from the Al-Islam Kemuhammadiyahan course with interviews. This study uses a qualitative approach and utilizes the nVivo 12 plus for data analysis. The results showed that religious moderation education was carried out with the content of national commitment, anti-violence, accommodative to local culture, standard tolerance in the curriculum, and hidden curricula in various learning activities. Moderation and hybridization are traits that will give birth to a moderate character in responding to differences. A moderate approach also produces hybridization through meetings and cultural crosses among participants with diverse backgrounds. The value of moderation in the Al-Islam Kemuhammadiyahan curriculum has designed a hybrid of cultures from diverse ethnicities, religions, and environments. The interdisciplinary implications of the study of religion, education, and sociology are confirmed in this article.

Abstract

The background of this study is the importance of dribbling techniques in futsal, but the basic dribbling skills of futsal extracurricular students at SMAN 3 Palopo are still not optimal. This study aims to determine the effect of agility training and speed training on improving dribbling skills, as well as comparing the effectiveness of the two training methods. The method used was a quantitative experiment with a two group pretest-posttest design. The sample consisted of 20 students divided into two groups: group A was given agility training (zig-zag run) and group B was given speed training (shuttle run), each for 16 sessions. The research instrument used a dribbling test. The data were analyzed using normality, homogeneity, paired sample t-test, and independent sample t-test. The results showed that both agility and speed training had a significant effect on improving dribbling (p < 0.05). However, the independent sample t-test proved that agility training was significantly more effective than speed training. The conclusion of this study is that although both exercises are effective, agility training has a greater impact on improving students' futsal dribbling skills. These findings recommend that coaches prioritize agility training in dribbling technique development programs.

Abstract

This descriptive, quantitative, and qualitative research aims to describe early childhood learning methods during the COVID-19 pandemic in Palopo City. This study is motivated by several problems; the lack of parental involvement in accompanying children to study at home, economic factors, the internet network, and a lack of interest in children participating in learning so that early childhoodcannot develop optimally. Data was gathered through interviews and questionnaires administered via the media google form to 69 teachers and principals in Palopo City.Data analysis uses source triangulation with the stages of data collection, data reduction, data display, and conclusion. This study's results indicate that teachers still use children's worksheets (LKA) assignments for learning during the COVID-19 pandemic. This study's novelty is that teachers use a new approach, namely, the visit-home method. Even though there are still a few, who use the home visit method, the home visit method is considered beneficial because the learning carried out is more effective compared to online. Students understand learning material more quickly and are interested in participating in learning at home. Researchers hope this home visit method will not only be applied during a pandemic.

Abstract

The issue of low agility among fifth-grade students at SDN 1 Lalebbata in Palopo City served as the background for this study. Based on initial observations, only 38.46% of students fell into the agile and very agile categories, while the majority struggled with changes in direction, body balance, and responding to commands. This study aims to improve students’ agility through the implementation of shuttle runs in physical education lessons. The method used was the Classroom Action Research (CAR) model by Kemmis and McTaggart, conducted in two cycles, each consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection. The study subjects consisted of 26 students. The instrument used was an agility observation sheet with five indicators: speed, change of direction, balance, response to cues, and completion of the game. Data were analyzed using quantitative descriptive analysis of percentages. The results showed a significant improvement, from 38.46% at the initial stage to 53.84% in Cycle I, and reaching 80.77% in Cycle II, exceeding the success indicator of 75%. In conclusion, the implementation of the back-and-forth running game was effective in improving the agility of Grade 5A students.
