Abstract

Teknologi pendidikan merupakan keilmuan yang penting dalam dunia pendidikan. Hal ini didasarkan pada asumsi teoritis maupun fakta empiris, rumusan pendidikan berusaha untuk memberdayakan sumber daya manusia yang berkualitas. Hal ini dikarenakan tidak terlepas dari tinjauan definisi teknologi pendidikan yang menitikberatkan pada “memfasilitasi belajar” dan “meningkatkan kinerja” yang digunakan sebesar-besarnya untuk memecahkan masalah pendidikan. Namun yang menjadi suatu problematika adalah pengakuan profesi ini dengan mendasarkan pada kebutuhan instansi. Walaupun semenjak tahun 2009 telah ada pengakuan Pengembang Teknologi Pembelajaran (PTP) secara hukum, namun bukan berarti pengakuan tersebut berarti sudah dapat dikatakan cukup memenuhi kebutuhan dari profil lulusan teknologi pendidikan. Hal ini didasarkan pada edaran yang dikeluarkan Direktorat Jenderal Guru dan Tenaga Kependidikan (Dirjen GTK) dari Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan. Dalam edaran tersebut memuat beberapa kualifikasi profesi teknologi pendidikan yang cenderung kurang memiliki relevansi dengan bidang keilmuan teknologi pendidikan yang sebenarnya. Berdasarkan fakta ini, penulis tertarik untuk menelaah problematika arahan kualifikasi profesi teknologi pendidikan berdasarkan pada surat-surat keputusan yang dikeluarkan oleh berbagai instansi yang membutuhkan keilmuan ini. Analisis yang menjadi pijakan penulis adalah arahan dari profesi teknologi pendidikan yang cenderung ada yang berada di luar bidang itu sendiri. Metode yang digunakan adalah literature review dengan teknik analisis konten yang berarti menjabarkan Surat Edaran yang dikeluarkan oleh Dirjen GTK dan menganalisisnya berdasarkan pada tingkat relevansi. Melalui kajian analisis ini penulis dapat memberikan pandangan tentang penempatan profesi teknologi pendidikan yang ideal di sekolah.Educational technology is an important science in the world of education. This is based on theoretical assumptions as well as empirical facts, the formulation of education seeks to empower quality human resources. This is because it cannot be separated from the review of the definition of educational technology which focuses on "facilitating learning" and "enhancing performance" which is used as much as possible to solve educational problems. However, what becomes problematic is the recognition of this profession based on the needs of the agency. Although since 2009 there has been legal recognition of Learning Technology Developers (PTP), it does not mean that this recognition means that it can be said to be sufficient to meet the needs of the profile of education technology graduates. This is based on a circular issued by the Directorate General of Teachers and Education Personnel (Dirjen GTK) from the Ministry of Education and Culture. The circular contains several qualifications of the educational technology profession which tend to be less relevant to the actual scientific field of educational technology. Based on this fact, the author is interested in examining the problematic direction of the qualification of the educational technology profession based on decrees issued by various agencies that require this knowledge. The analysis on which the author is based is the direction of the educational technology profession which tends to exist outside the field itself. The method used is a literature review with content analysis techniques, which means describing Circulars issued by the Director General of GTK and analyzing them based on the level of relevance. Through this analytical study, the author can provide views on the ideal placement of educational technology professions in schools.

Abstract

Teknologi pendidikan merupakan rumpun keilmuan dalam memfasilitasi belajar dan meningkatkan kinerja untuk memecahkan masalah pendidikan. Keilmuan ini secara tertulis berbicara mengenai sumber belajar sebagai upaya dalam pemecahan tersebut. Sumber belajar diklasifikasikan menjadi enam, yakni (1) pesan, (2) bahan, (3) orang/manusia, (4) alat, (5) teknik/metode, dan (6) latar/lingkungan. Unsur-unsur alami dalam biologi juga mampu didayagunakan sebagai sumber belajar yang dapat digunakan untuk pembelajaran. Mulai dari struktur, fungsi, pertumbuhan, evolusi, persebaran hingga taksonominya berperan sebagai sumber belajar yang tidak hanya terpaku dalam bidang biologi saja namun bidang lainnya juga yang saling berkaitan. Maka dari itu, penulis tertarik mengkaji kajian unsur-unsur biologi yang dapat digunakan sebagai sumber belajar dengan mengedepankan analisis karakteristik teknologi pendidikan. Karakteristiknya terdiri dari (1) pendekatan sistem, (2) pendayagunaan sumber belajar, dan (3) orientasi pada pebelajar. Harapannya dari tulisan ini dapat menjadi suatu alternatif bacaan dalam memilih serta menggunakan unsur-unsur biologi dan dikembangkan dengan landasan karakteristik teknologi pendidikan.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has led to a digital-based learning shift, creating a significant learning gap in the Merdeka Curriculum era as face-to-face education resumes. SMP Wahid Hasyim Malang, like many others, faces challenges such as limited teacher-student interaction, reliance on traditional lectures, outdated resources, and underutilized internet facilities. To address this, we propose an Internet of Educational Things (IoET) empowerment program. Its goal is to establish a digital-based learning environment post-pandemic using hypercontent-based modules and Learning Management Systems (LMS) with IoET applications. Instructors will provide foundational training, and facilitators will offer ongoing mentoring. This program equips teachers with theoretical knowledge and practical skills, enhancing their ability to implement IoET-based learning models and media, improving their overall performance. Additionally, it will serve as a valuable reference for future educational services and research, becoming an alternative point of reference for various future educational endeavors and research initiatives.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to design an application that can help students in learning. So, the authors are interested in designing game-based mobile learning applications that have mathematical content on integer material integrated with hijaiyah numbers, so that the game media has its own uniqueness. This design is based on the obligation to develop numeracy skills for all citizens according to Law number 20 of 2003 concerning the national education system. In addition, there is also an obligation to understand the number of hijaiyah for Muslim citizens. The research method used uses research development. The development model used is Lee Owens. The concept in this game is like a game in general that uses this type of adventure. In the game there is a mission to solve the problem. The challenge is through hijaiyah figures provided. So this game combines mathematics with hijaiyah numbers in a portable way.

Abstract

One of the most important steps in having educational process with the media. The media itself represents the component of Language Leaning. In researchers’ context, which is Math, the subject matter represents the content itself. Most of the times, our students face difficulty in learning the content—Math subject. Therefore, the objective of this study is to produce an instructional media that might ease the students in learning Mathematics easier and meaningful. Our interest is developing an instructional media that help students to also learn culture as its additional material. We develop ETHIC GAME (Ethnomathematics Game) as an integrated and augmented reality-based (AR) instructional media that combine mathematics and culture. Based on Edgar Dale’s theory on learning, the students can undergo the meaningful learning experience when they learn, observe, and listen to the media by themselves. We decide then to make an instructional media that also use such kind of principle that is TRINGO (Ngerti, Ngrasa, Nglakoni – or Understanding, Experiencing, Doing) by Ki Hadjar Dewantara. The development method used in this study refers to Lee Owen model of development. In the end, by having ETHIC GAME as instructional media, students learn more insightful and meaningful Mathmatics and culture—not only to make the learning process more authentic, but also to make the learners preserve the national culture.

Abstract

This study examines the effect of learning motivation of high achieving students at Universitas Negeri Malang. Learning motivation has an important role in the lecture process. Learning motivation is an impetus in a conscious effort to make changes in cognitive, affective and psychomotor aspects. So it takes students who are able to increase their motivation for achievement in order to be an example for other students. Therefore researchers are interested in studying research related to learning motivation and ways of learning from outstanding students. The object of research studied was outstanding students at Universitas Negeri Malang. The research method used is quantitative data obtained through the distribution of questionnaires in the Google form. The results of this study reveal the motivation to learn and how to learn from each respondent who is an outstanding student at Universitas Negeri Malang. The results of the research are expected to be a reference in increasing learning motivation for other students.

Abstract

Abad 21 telah menyebabkan banyaknya transisi, utamanya terkait paradigma pembelajaran dari teacher-centered menjadi student-centered. Paradigma ini meminta untuk pembelajaran yang menekankan pada aktivitas belajar secara bermakna dan mampu membangun motivasi belajarnya dengan baik. Hal ini memiliki relevansi dengan pemikiran dari Ki Hadjar Dewantara terkait konsep pendidikannya yang memfokuskan pada pertanyaan terkait bagaimana menjadi manusia yang utuh. Oleh karena itu, kajian literatur secara naratif ini bertujuan untuk memberikan penjelasan secara deskriptif terkait pemikiran dari Ki Hadjar Dewantara yang dikaitkan dengan sudut pandang pembelajaran abad 21 dengan mendasarkan pada literatur-literatur yang ada. Artikel ini mengungkapkan bahwa pemikiran-pemikiran yang diwariskan oleh Ki Hadjar Dewantara memiliki relevansi yang kuat dengan konstruksi pembelajaran abad 21. Pembahasan terkait relevansi tersebut akan dijelaskan dalam artikel ini sebagai renungan bersama bagi banyak kalangan, terutama pelaku-pelaku pendidikan.

Abstract

Abstract: This study presents a theoretical framework for instructional management in Indonesia, taking into account the historical context of curriculum development and aligning it with the principles of sustainable development goals. Instructional management plays a crucial role in optimizing resources to achieve instructional objectives, and its significance is closely tied to the historical evolution of the curriculum in Indonesia. We examine the instructional management practices employed throughout the history of the curriculum in Indonesia, starting from the Rentjana Pelajaran in 1947 to the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum since February 2022. By adopting a historical approach, we provide a narrative exploration of instructional management. This article uncovers insights into the theoretical shifts in learning approaches based on the established policies. Furthermore, the curriculum journey in Indonesia has been predominantly influenced by behavioristic learning theory. However, recent curriculum developments have embraced the principles of sustainable development goals. As a result, this article can serve as a valuable reference for teachers seeking guidance on effective instructional management in the classroom.Abstrak: Studi ini menyajikan kerangka teori untuk manajemen pembelajaran di Indonesia, dengan mempertimbangkan konteks historis pengembangan kurikulum dan menyelaraskannya dengan prinsip-prinsip tujuan pembangunan berkelanjutan. Manajemen pembelajaran memainkan peran penting dalam mengoptimalkan sumber daya untuk mencapai tujuan pembelajaran, dan signifikansinya terkait erat dengan evolusi historis kurikulum di Indonesia. Kami meneliti praktik manajemen pembelajaran yang digunakan sepanjang sejarah kurikulum di Indonesia, mulai dari Rentjana Pelajaran pada tahun 1947 hingga implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka sejak Februari 2022. Dengan mengadopsi pendekatan historis, kami memberikan eksplorasi naratif tentang manajemen pembelajaran. Artikel ini mengungkap wawasan tentang pergeseran teoritis dalam pendekatan pembelajaran berdasarkan kebijakan yang ditetapkan. Lebih jauh lagi, perjalanan kurikulum di Indonesia sebagian besar dipengaruhi oleh teori pembelajaran behavioristik. Namun, perkembangan kurikulum baru-baru ini telah merangkul prinsip-prinsip tujuan pembangunan berkelanjutan. Oleh karena itu, artikel ini dapat menjadi referensi yang berharga bagi para guru yang mencari panduan mengenai manajemen pembelajaran yang efektif di kelas.

Abstract

The development of an era that has always been mediated by technology has influenced the generational differences that adapt in each time. The context of learning that is carried out tends to transform according to the differences in generations. This study seeks to review the characteristics of learners based on existing generational differences. The approach used is in the form of a traditional literature review where the author reveals a discussion that is in accordance with the literature that the author finds. The literature sought focuses on generational differences that will then be attributed to the characteristics of learners. The result of this review is in the form of differences in the characteristics of learners based on the generation of birth. The greatest generation (GI) focuses on initiatives in learning. The veteran (silent) generation focuses on standardizing learning. Baby boomers are focusing on learning independence. Generation X focuses on learning balance. Generation Y (millennials) focus on controlling learning independently. Generation Z focuses on abstract learning constructions. The alpha generation focuses on creativity. The last (likely) beta generation focuses on complex learning processes with the help of surrounding artificial intelligence. This review is expected to contribute through exposure that can be an alternative reference for the world of education.

Abstract

The internet has caused a paradigm shift in education towards digitalization, so that students who experience it are now referred to as digital natives. This technology has changed the orientation of learning and teaching from teacher-centered to student-centered. Specific discussion is needed regarding the use of the internet modified in such a way in learning. Internet of Educational Things (IoET) becomes an interesting discussion in this article to support the paradigm shift. This article discusses using a narrative review approach. This means that this preparation tends to be reflective and in accordance with the author's understanding. The discussion includes (1) the paradigm shift from conventional to internet-assisted digital, (2) IoET as a digital-based instructional system approach and (3) related findings. Future recommendations will be presented, especially regarding the use of IoET in the education system.
