Abstract

The community service activity titled "Sports Massage Training as a Technique for Relaxation and Muscle Recovery for the Community in Belitar Village" aims to provide education and practical skills to the community in maintaining muscle health through proper massage techniques. Meanwhile, the practice session focused on mastering basic massage techniques that could be applied independently. The results of the activity showed very positive responses from the participants. Most participants stated that the training was relevant to their needs and offered tangible benefits for daily life. However, several challenges were encountered, such as the limited availability of teaching aids and the need to simplify theoretical materials to facilitate understanding. Recommendations for future activities include improving facilities, extending the duration of training, and developing more specific training themes. Overall, this activity successfully achieved its stated objectives and is expected to have a sustainable impact on the community of Belitar Village. It also strengthens the role of Universitas Dehasen Bengkulu in supporting community empowerment through relevant and practical service programs.

Abstract

The socialization of traditional games plays a crucial role in children's development. These games not only provide a means of entertainment, but also play an integral role in the development of various aspects of a child's well-being. Through direct interaction, traditional games help children develop social skills such as communication, cooperation and understanding of shared rules. In addition, these games also support the development of gross and fine motor skills through the physical movements involved. Aspects of creativity and imagination are also enhanced, while cultural values and traditional heritage are applied and valued. Traditional games provide a platform for cognitive learning, involving problem solving and improved concentration. The child's social and emotional experience is enriched through the acceptance of victory and failure with sportsmanship. In addition, these games have a positive impact on children's mental and physical health by providing enjoyable physical activity and reducing stress. In the context of globalization and modern lifestyle changes, the preservation and promotion of traditional games is becoming increasingly important as an effort to ensure children remain connected to their cultural heritage. Therefore, initiatives to introduce children to traditional games not only provide entertainment, but also form a solid foundation for their holistic growth and development.

The post-test results showed the highest score of 18, the lowest score of 12, and an average of 14.95. The initial test average of 9.81 increased to 14.95 in the final test. The t-test results indicate a significant difference between the pre-test and post-test scores, where the tvalue (28.90) is greater than the ttable value (2.195), confirming that the research hypothesis is accepted. This is further supported by a correlation value of 0.729, indicating a fairly strong and positive relationship between pre-test and post-test results. Abstract

Instilling disciplined character in students is a fundamental step in forming responsible individuals, obeying rules, and being able to manage time effectively. Physical education, especially through futsal learning, is one of the strategic means in internalizing disciplined values in a fun and contextual way. The Student Creativity Program (PKM) aims to design and implement a futsal learning strategy that is integrated with the instillation of disciplined values for MI Al Jhaq students. The activity methods include basic futsal technique training sessions, character value guidance, and evaluation of student attitudes during the process. The observation results showed a significant increase in four indicators of discipline, namely punctual attendance (from 56% to 90%), use of training equipment (63% to 93%), compliance with game rules (61% to 88%), and ability to follow instructions (59% to 91%). These findings strengthen that futsal learning can act as an effective medium in forming student character, especially discipline. With the support of a constructivist and participatory approach, this activity not only improves motor skills, but also forms positive attitudes and behaviors in students in a sustainable manner.

Abstract

The tactical approach in sports education has enhanced comprehension of game strategies and technical abilities. Nonetheless, its efficacy regarding volleyball teaching in higher education, particularly at Dehasen University, has not been extensively examined. This study seeks to evaluate the effectiveness of the tactical method in enhancing the comprehension of tactics and volleyball abilities among Physical Education students. The research employed an experimental design utilizing a quasi-experimental methodology, comprising 40 students allocated into experimental and control groups—the research tools comprised skill assessments and observations of tactical comprehension. The findings indicated a substantial enhancement in the experimental group relative to the control group, with an average rise of 25% in playing ability scores (p < 0.05) and a 30% increase in tactical comprehension (p < 0.05). In conclusion, the tactical approach improves students' volleyball skills and understanding. The researcher advocates for incorporating a tactical approach into the volleyball curriculum in higher education, supplemented by training for instructors to enhance the execution of this method.
