Abstract

Setiap individu dalam menjalani kehidupan baik di organisasi maupun di lingkungan masyarakat memiliki motif dalam dirinya.  Motif seseorang harus dibangkitkan agar dapat dimanfaatkan untuk kepentingan individu itu sendiri, orang lain, maupun kepentingan organisasi.  Memotivasi pegawai merupakan tugas pemimpin, dimana pemimpin sebagai penggerak yang erat kaitannya dengan budaya dan nilai-nilai dalam organisasi.  Salah satu tantangan terberat yang dihadapi pemimpin adalah bagaimana menggerakkan anggotanya agar mau dan bersedia mengerahkan kemampuan terbaiknya untuk kepentingan organisasi.  Untuk dapat melaksanakan tugas tersebut, perlu teknik motivasi.

Abstract

Purpose – This research aims to explore the integration of entrepreneurship education within the curriculum of the Pondok Pesantren Hidayatul Mubtadi-ien in Indramayu, Indonesia, and its impact on the character development and self-reliance of the students (santri). Design/methods/approach – This research was conducted through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and document analysis using a qualitative case study method. A thematic analysis approach was applied to identify key themes from the data collected over a six-month research period. Findings – The results indicate that Pondok Pesantren Hidayatul Mubtadi-ien has successfully integrated entrepreneurship education with Islamic values. This is reflected in the curriculum, daily activities, and projects involving the students. Government involvement in project funding demonstrates an essential synergy between educational institutions and the government. The practical approach to entrepreneurship education in the pesantren has proven effective, creating a dynamic and interactive learning environment. Research implications – These findings provide theoretical and practical contributions to developing entrepreneurship education management in Pondok Pesantren and education in Indonesia more broadly. This research opens up opportunities for further studies on the implementation of entrepreneurship education in other educational institutions and expands the scope of research on the role of entrepreneurship education in the character development and self-reliance of students. The limitations of this research, such as the specific context of the pesantren and available resources, offer opportunities for broader and more in-depth research in the future.

Abstract

Purpose – This study investigates the role of public relations management in building a positive image of educational institutions, focusing on Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri 3 Cirebon. It aims to fill gaps in the literature regarding the empirical evidence of effective public relations strategies in madrasahs, providing both theoretical and practical contributions to the field of education. Design/methods/approach – The research employs a qualitative descriptive approach to deeply understand the public relations strategies at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri 3 Cirebon. Nine participants, including the head of the madrasah, public relations staff, teachers, and parents, were purposively selected. Data were collected through observations, in-depth interviews, and document analysis. Systematic data analysis involved narrative presentation, data reduction, and conclusion drawing/verification to identify patterns and causal relationships. Findings – The study found that integrated planning involving all stakeholders, active involvement of public relations staff, and adequate resource allocation were key to building a positive institutional image. Activities such as religious services, social services, and regular community engagement strengthened internal and external relations. Regular evaluations through scheduled meetings and feedback from the community helped identify shortcomings and improve public relations strategies. Research implications – The findings highlight the importance of collaborative and systematic public relations management in educational institutions. The study suggests that other educational institutions adopt similar approaches to enhance their public image, thereby increasing community trust and support.

Abstract

Sosialisasi gerakan literasi menjadi kunci untuk meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat akan pentingnya literasi dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Sosialisasi gerakan literasi dapat membantu masyarakat dalam menumbuhkan budaya membaca, menulis, dan berpikir kritis di kalangan masyarakat. Kegiatan pengabdian dilaksanakan di Kampung Bungur Desa Jalatrang Kecamatan Cipaku Kabupaten Ciamis. Berdasarkan pada observasi lapangan ditemui permasalahan mitra, seperti: kurangnya minat baca masyarakat, kurangnya infrastruktur penunjang literasi, dan belum optimalnya program-program literasi yang ada. Untuk itu, tujuan pengabdian ini adalah membantu pengelola TBM agar memiliki kemampuan mengajak para Masyarakat untuk meningkatkan minat baca sehingga dapat membuka informasi dan kemampuan yang lebih baik untuk masyarakat. Sedangkan target pengabdian ini adalah Pengelola TBM, Pemerintah Desa, dan Masyarakat Desa Jalatrang. Hasil analisis faktor-faktor penghambat dan pendukung dalam gerakan literasi di Desa Jalatrang Kecamatan Cipaku Kabupaten Ciamis, maka solusi dan tindak lanjut dari tim pengabdian, adalah: meningkatkan koordinasi dan kerjasama antar pemangku kepentingan, mengembangkan kegiatan literasi yang menarik dan kreatif, meningkatkan kapasitas tenaga literasi melalui berbagai pelatihan dan workshop.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi dengan belum maksimalnya inovasi pelayanan publik di Dinas Komunikasi dan Informatika Kabupaten Ciamis. Di era yang semua sudah menggunakan teknologi informasi, Dinas Komunikasi dan Informatika melakukan inovasi untuk mengikuti perkembangan era ini yaitu dengan meluncurkan sebuah inovasi berupa aplikasi yang bernama Helo Ciamis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui inovasi berupa aplikasi Helo Ciamis yang menjadi pusat berbagai macam informasi yang dibutuhkan masyarakat, pusat integrasi aplikasi e-government seluruh Organisasi Perangkat Daerah (OPD) Kabupaten Ciamis. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu metode kualitatif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa inovasi pelayanan publik berupa aplikasi Helo Ciamis di Dinas Komunikasi dan Informatika Kabupaten Ciamis yang diukur dengan lima dimensi, hasilnya belum berjalan optimal. Hal tersebut terjadi karena masih terdapat hambatan dalam proses penggunaannya seperti adanya pelayanan yang masih belum tergabung dalam aplikasi Helo Ciamis, fitur yang belum dapat diakses, dan masyarakat yang belum mengetahui adanya aplikasi Helo Ciamis serta penggunaannya secara penuh. Kata Kunci : Inovasi, Pelayanan, Aplikasi.

Abstract

This study aimed to examine how the head of MI Ma'arif Kedawung, uses his leadership style to improve the effectiveness of teacher performance. The achievement of quality education goals is highly dependent on teacher performance. Field studies with other qualitative methods were used to compile this research. In-depth interviews, participant observation, and document analysis were used to collect this data. This study's subjects were the madrasah's head and two educators of MI Ma'arif Kedawung. Our purpose in conducting this research is to gain insight into how the leadership style of madrasah heads builds a conducive environment that supports the formation of quality human resources in the world. The research results on the leadership style of the head of the madrasah influence the performance of teachers in MI Ma'arif Kedawung. The results of this study show democratic leadership styles have a positive impact on encouraging teacher performance in MI Ma'arif Kedawung. Support in effective communication, coaching and professional development, motivation, and problem-solving also play a vital role in improving human resources, namely teachers and staff.

Abstract

This article aims to examine how schools build social care characters in early childhood through storytelling and market day. This is a preventive effort against the decline in social skills and empathy in early childhood, along with the challenges of technological development. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with the type of field research (field research) in the context of a case study. The subjects of this study were teachers of classes A and B. The methods used were observation, interviews (to principals and teachers) and documentation at Taud Saqu Al Binaa Kota Cirebon. The results showed that Taud Saqu Al Binaa conducted social care character education at early childhood by compiling programs in the form of storytelling of the Palestinian people's conflict and market day in the context of fundraising (philanthropy) to help Palestinians who are experiencing conflict with Israel. One of the attempts to build social care to children is by integrating this kind of behavior in their daily lives so as to make them get accustomed to the attitudes and actions. The process of inculcating social care characters in students, there are two stages: first is the example of the teacher; second is habituation that must be done continuously. Meanwhile, in strengthening the two stages, several programs, namely: philanthropy, takjil on the road, donations for victims of natural disasters, social services, distribution of qurban meat and qurban food security

Abstract

Paradigma administrasi negara/publik telah mengalami evolusi dari paradigma klasik, Old Public Administration (OPA) ke New Public Management (NPM), New Public Service (NPS), Good Governance (GG) sampai dengan Sound Governance (SG).  Namun demikian paradigma old public administration masih banyak di terapkan dalam praktek pemerintahan saat ini. Kajian ini bertujuan sebagai kerangka berpikir untuk memahami peran pemerintah, hubungannya dengan masyarakat, dan cara terbaik dalam mengelola sumber daya publik. Adapun metode yang digunakan dalam kajian ini adalah deskriptif analitis, dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui studi literatur. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa pemerintah saat ini sedang berupaya menerapkan berbagai prinsip dari paradigma administrasi publik, terlihat dari reformasi birokrasi, penggunaan sistem elektronik untuk pelayanan publik, dan peningkatan partisipasi masyarakat dalam perumusan kebijakan serta pengawasan kinerja. Meskipun demikian, penerapan ini masih dihadapkan pada sejumlah tantangan, seperti perubahan budaya kerja, keterbatasan sumber daya dan teknologi, serta koordinasi antarorganisasi.

Abstract

The background of this research is the problem of children's ability to recognize number symbols, namely during observations it was found that Group A children of Amanah Islamic Kindergarten did not know number symbols. This study aims to describe the differences in the level of ability to recognize number symbols in Group A children of Amanah Islamic Kindergarten before and after applying domino media. This study used a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental design. The research design using one group pretest-posttest is a type of experimental research in which one group of subjects is measured at two different times. The goal is to estimate the effect of size on the variable being measured. The design of this study examines the effectiveness of the application of domino media on the ability to recognize number symbols in Group A children in Islamic Kindergarten Amanah, Losari District, Cirebon Regency. The data collected is the result of tests to recognize numbers before and after using domino media. This can be seen from the increase in the average score before and after using domino media. the symbol number has increased more significantly than before using the domino media. In conclusion, domino media can be an effective alternative to improve the ability of Group A children in Amanah Islamic Kindergarten to recognize number symbols. This study also proposes to carry out further research that integrates domino media with other number learning and considers other factors that can affect early learning abilities.

Abstract

Students who are bullied are often shunned and isolated, so that victims of sexual harassment tend to adopt negative coping strategies, such as skipping class, violating school rules, being individual, then falling into promiscuity to avoid sexual harassment. Sexual harassment that is considered normal will unconsciously cause negative views on child victims, including depression, lazy learning, frequent truancy, neglect and rejection by the surrounding environment. In addition, victims did not respond or take a firm stance against sexual harassment. This type of research is qualitative research using case study research methods. According to Nawawi, case study data can be obtained from all parties concerned. In other words, the data in this study was collected from various sources. Based on an analysis of the results of research conducted by researchers at SMP Negeri 1 Karangsembung regarding the implementation of individual counseling services to deal with victims of verbal sexual harassment, students at SMP Negeri 1 Karangsembung Cirebon, there are forms of verbal sexual harassment that are mild, moderate, even severe. The mild form of harassment is often teased by friends, while the moderate form of harassment is whistling and the heavy form is mocking animals. Occurred for 4 consecutive months experienced by victims of ZAB, CA and PAR. So that they experience mild harassment, namely being insecure with their peers, and moderate harassment becomes negative thinking and lack of confidence, while severe harassment is experiencing mental trauma and then the solution for the counseling teacher is to carry out individual counseling with reality techniques. Conclusion, The changes seen after individual counseling with reality techniques for victims of verbal sexual harassment at Karangsembung State Middle School,. Although individual counseling services with reality techniques carried out by researchers are good services for students. It is proven that there are changes that occur for students in class. Although these changes have not been significant for victims of verbal sexual harassment, dynamic changes have occurred. Previously, ZAB, CA and PAR were students who were traumatized by acts of verbal sexual harassment against them. ZAB, CA and PAR are now able to recover from their trauma and are willing to hang out with their friends. Even in a learning class, they have started to be active and can follow the lesson well.
