Abstract

One of the popular entertainments carried out by young people in today's era is video games, which is video gamehas an educational nature or is just entertainment, usually a video game only focuses on the storyline andmechanics of the game. Many times we find video games that come from foreign products where they incorporateelements of behavior and culture from their country into the game storyline that can result in players in Indonesiagetting to know foreign cultures better than their own cultures. The game that I want to create is a role playingfirst person game that is very interactive and has a tense storyline, accompanied by having a simple educationthat makes the players understand the knowledge of the history of Indonesian Heroes, such as remembering theyear on an event that can continue the storyline, and develop the player's instincts about what kind of strategy canwin this game. Basically, the animation processing in this game uses various programs including: Unity 3D, orUnreal Engine, assisted by supporting applications such as Blender for making 3D models and using the C#programming language. The result of the game created is in the form of a .exe file which will later be compatiblewith a Personal Computer (PC) device. Based on the results of tests that have been carried out, this educationalmedia is enough to help the introduction of the history of Indonesian Heroes, and also creates a tense atmospherein the process of playing

Abstract

Universitas Harapan Medan adalah satu perguruan tinggi swasta di kota Medan yang mempunyai beberapa fakultas diantaranya Fakultas Ekonomi Bisnis (FEB), Fakultas Teknik dan Komputer (FTK), Fakultas Bahasa dan Komunikasi (FBK), dam Fakultas Hukum. Terdapat beberapa program studi yang berada di bawah naungan Fakultas Teknik dan Komputer, yaitu meliputi : Teknik Industri, Teknik Mesin, Teknik Sipil, Teknik Elektro, Teknik Informatika dan Sistem Informasi.Program Studi Teknik Informatika memiliki jumlah dosen aktif sebanyak 38 orang. Dimana bidang peminatannya adalah jaringan, multimedia dan robotika. Dosen merupakan tenaga pendidik professional yang memberi pengajaran dan mengembangkan ilmu di perguruan tinggi. Sebagai bentuk apresiasi Perguruan Tinggi terhadap dosen dalam kinerja tridarma, maka akan dilakukan pemilihan dosen terbaik untuk meningkatkan kualitas kinerja dengan menggunakan metode sistem pendukung keputusan. Ada 2 metode analisa yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu metode WASPAS (Weighted Aggregated Sum Product Assesment) dan TOPSIS (Technique For Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution). Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah Menganalisis metode sistem pendukung keputusan WASPAS dan TOPSIS dalam menentukan dosen terbaik berdasarkan variabel bidang keahlian di Prodi Teknik Informatika dengan kriteria yang telah ditentukan dan Mengetahui tingkat akurasi dalam pengambilan keputusan dengan sistem pendukung keputusan WASPAS dan TOPSIS dalam menentukan dosen terbaik berdasarkan kriteria yang telah ditentukan.

Abstract

The development of technology is now growing rapidly so that it has a varied impact. Including a positive impact, where now there are many effective and interesting learning media that can be accessed only through smartphones. Educational games are a tool used in introducing national compulsory songs to elementary school children. There are many national compulsory songs and each song contains different meanings, both in the form of celebrating the services of heroes and in fostering the spirit and love of the motherland. In this study, the game was designed based on Android, because it can be accessed and used anytime and anywhere. The method used in designing this application is the Computer based Instruction (CBI) method where this method aims to increase children's interest in learning and can be a substitute medium for books in learning. Because the Computer Based Instruction (CBI) method is a learning method that is instructed by computers as a whole. The results of this study show that the compulsory song recognition educational game for elementary school students using the Android-based Computer Based Instrument method is worthy as an interesting and influential introduction and learning medium for elementary school students.

Abstract

Fashion has an important role in judging a person based on their appearance and daily style. Fashion, such as clothing and accessories, is growing rapidly in Indonesia with models changing every year. Therefore, the current fashion design process is done digitally using information technology, with the aim of producing good quality and satisfying customers in choosing and making their choices.The application used to design this fashion is Unity, a software that allows the creation of a fashion metaverse in 3D using the Marker Based Method. This method utilizes images as markers to bring up fashion in 3D in existing data. The purpose of this research is to create an Android-based metaverse fashion design application with AR technology that can facilitate a person in determining the desired fashion model by using a smartphone as a search tool. The results showed that most respondents, around 90%, strongly agreed with this application, indicating that this application is very useful in making it easier to select the desired fashion model.

Abstract

Universitas Harapan Medan adalah salah satu Perguruan Tinggi di Sumatera Utara yang memiliki beberapa fakultas, salah satu diantaranya yaitu Fakultas Teknik dan Komputer. Dimana pada fakultas tersebut terdapat 7 program studi yaitu Teknik Elektro, Teknik Sipil, Teknik Mesin, Teknik Informatika Teknik Industri, Sistem Informasi dan Manajemen Informatika. Program studi Teknik Infrmatika merupakan program studi dengan akreditasi B dengan jumlah mahasiswa aktif sampai tahun 2022 yaitu 1.366 orang. Berdasarkan data tersebut dapat dilihat bahwa program studi informatika memiliki jumlah peminat yang sangat banyak bagi mahasiswa. Dalam proses penerimaan mahasiswa baru seringkali membuat susunan berkas yang sangat banyak, sehingga menyulitkan pihak akademik dalam mengelola dan menentukan mahasiswa yang dapat masuk dalam program studi teknik informatika. Oleh sebab itu, diperlukan suatu pola yang dapat menentukan mahasiswa yang lulus dan tidak lulus menggunakan metode klasisfikasi data mining CHAID (Chi Squared Automatic Interaction Detection). Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah Merancang model pola karakteristik berdasarkan kriteria dalam seleksi penerimaan mahasiswa baru pada program studi teknik informatikaMenganalisis metode data mining decision tree dengan algoritma CHAID (Chi Squared Automatic Interaction Detection) dalam menentukan siapa yang lulus berdasarkan kriteria-kriteria yang telah ditentukan. Hasil pohon keputusan dalam perancangan pola karakteristik penerimanan calon mahasiswa baru terdapat 43 rule dimana , faktor tertinggi dari ke- 3 faktor yang mempengaruhi pada 75 data testing adalah kriteria Nilai Rapor. Faktor kedua yang juga mempengaruhi hasil keputusan adalah kriteria Ujian CAT (Computer Assisted Test). Dan faktor Nilai Wawancara terakhir yang juga mempengaruhi hasil keputusan adalah kriteria.

Abstract

University of Harapan Medan is one of the private tertiary institutions in North Sumatra which has an informatics engineering study program. The informatics engineering study program is a study program that has many enthusiasts. Every year this study program graduates more than 200 students. To produce graduates who have potential, reliability and competence in the field of technology and information, it is necessary to make a selection at the beginning, namely at the time of admission of new students. There are 5 criteria used in the selection process, including the average report card score, basic ability test, computer ability test, psychological test, and interview. Each criterion has 5 weights of values, namely very high, high, medium, low and very low.  The selection process for admission of new informatics engineering students with a decision support system for the EDAS (Evaluation Based On Distance From Average Solution) method.  Where the stages in this method are by normalizing the decision matrix and looking for the average from alternatives, then from these results calculate the average positive distance (PDA) and negative distance (NDA) as well as the assessment of the weighted attribute weights of SPi and SNi, after that the normalization of positive and negative distance weights is carried out for determining the ranking score. From the results of the analysis carried out using the EDAS method, with a sample of 10 prospective students it was concluded that the 6th order student candidate had the highest score with a score of 0.519 and the lowest score in the 7th order student with a score of 0.14. Therefore, the level of accuracy of the EDAS method in selecting new student admissions is around 20%. Of course, this accuracy value will change with large data samples.

Abstract

 Abstract: The aim of this research is to determine a mathematical model and predict the amount of rice production in Padang Lawas district in 2023-2028 using the Least Square method. The Least Square Method is a prediction method used to see trends in a time series by minimizing the sum of the squared differences. The end result of this research produces an equation model Y = 72.069,11 + (-993,82435)(X).. From the equation model shows the prediction results of rice using the least squares method in Padang Lawas Regency in 2023 estimation 63.115,69 tons, in 2024 as many as 61,128.04 tons, in 2025 as many as 59,140.39 tons, in 2026 as many as 57,152.74 tons in 2027 as many as 55,165.10 tons and in 2028 as many as 53,177.45 tons an from the results of data processing, the error value calculation using MAPE is equal to 4,23357%Abstrak: Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menentukan model matematika dan  memprediksikan jumlah produksi padi di Kabupaten Padang Lawas tahun 2023-2028 dengan menggunakan metode Least Square. Metode Least Square merupakan suatu metode prediksi yang digunakan untuk melihat trend dari time series dengan meminimumkan jumlah selisih kuadratnya. Hasil akhir penelitian ini menghasilkan model persamaan Y = 72.069,11 + (-993,82435)(X). Dari model persamaan menunjukan hasil prediksi padi menggunakan metode least square di Kabupaten Padang Lawas pada tahun 2023 diperkirakan sebanyak 63.115,69 ton, pada tahun 2024 sebanyak 61.128,04 ton, pada tahun 2025 sebanyak  59.140,39 ton, pada tahun 2026 sebanyak 57.152,74 ton pada tahun 2027 sebanyak 55.165,10 ton dan pada tahun 2028 sebanyak 53.177,45 ton dan dari hasil pengolahan data, perhitungan  nilai error menggunakan MAPE adalah sebesar 4,23357%

Abstract

The mahram used by the people is taken from Arabic. Mahram is a woman or a man who is still a close relative so it is not permissible to marry between the two. Mahram relationships can occur for three reasons, namely heredity, breastfeeding, and marital relations. Mahram can be sourced from the verses of the Qur'an and Al-Hadith. However, nowadays there are still many people who do not know which is mahram or not. The purpose of this study is to build an application system that will be a medium for users, especially Muslims to know the mahram and make it easier for us to know the mahram of the family. This application is designed using Adobe Flash CS6 which has a pretty good performance. The system development method used is the literature study method, which collects supporting data related to research such as from social media, websites or other sources. Based on the test results, the genealogy application is running successfully on the Windows 10 operating system. This research produces an application with the main function as a medium that requires information about mahram in Islam and provides the desired convenience and speed.

Abstract

The world of martial arts is very well known in various national and international regions. There are several that show martial arts, one of which is Karate. Karate is a martial art that is applied in a national level sports branch in Indonesia. Karate has 3 training branches, namely Shoto-Kai, Inkanas and Lemkari. A martial art will always select the schedule for each event held by the committee, one of which is Shoto-Kai karate. The aim of this research is to build a selection system for various categories using the Welch Powell method which previously was still done manually, therefore the selection can be automatically inputted by participant data into an application. This application uses Microsoft Visual Basic, making it easier for the committee to determine participants in selecting the karate competition schedule. Based on the test results, the application obtained can run successfully so that it can use a laptop/computer. This research can be a medium of information regarding karate selection and can provide smoothness to achieve success.
