Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas tentang manajemen pembentukan karakter peserta didik di MTs Negeri Palopo. Dalam hal ini ingin mengetahui bagaimana perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi yang dilakukan di MTs Negeri Palopo. Demikian halnya juga faktor pendukung dan faktor penghambat dalam pembentukan karakter peserta didik. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian lapangan (field research) yang bersifat kualitatif. Yang menjadi subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah kepala madrasah, wakil kepala madrasah bidang kurikulum, wakil kepala madrasah bidang kesiswaan, guru mata pelajaran, serta peserta didik. Teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan dengan cara obseravasi, wawancara, angket dan dokumentasi. Adapun teknik pengolahan dan analisis data dengan menggunakan triangulasi data. Hasil penelitian mendeskripsikan bahwa proses pembentukan karakter peserta didik di MTs Negeri Palopo dilakukan sesuai dengan fungsi manajemen yang ada serta strategi-strategi pembentukan karakter. Diantaranya (1) dalam hal perencanaan, madrasah membuat sebuah renstra dan renop yaitu perencanaan jangka pendek dan jangka panjang. Menentukan visi, misi dan tujuan madrasah untuk menciptakan sebuah program-program dalam pengembangan karakter peserta didik; (2) dalam hal pengorganisasian sebuah lembaga dengan membentuk susunan kepengurusan madrasah; (3) dalam hal pelaksanaan program-program yang telah direncanakan baik dalam kegiatan intra dan ekstrakurikuler. Dalam pelaksanaan program intra maupun ekstrakurikuler strategi-strategi pembentukan karakter telah dilaksanakan yaitu dengan cara pembiasaan, memberikan keteladanan, memberikan arahan terkait karakter baik dan buruk serta dampaknya, memberikan pengetahuan yang dapat menumbuhkan minat dan bakat serta kreatifitas peserta didik, dan menciptakan lingkungan yang baik dan kondusif serta memberikan sarana dan prasarana yang menunjang pembentukan karakter peserta didik; (4) dalam hal evaluasi, kegiatan intra dan ekstrakurikuler dilakukan dengan cara penilaian kelas berupa sejumlah pernyataan sikap yang jawabannya dinyatakan secara berskala dan penilaian kelas yang dilakukan oleh guru mata pelajaran dengan cara mengamati perilaku peserta didik. Adapun indicator keberhasilannya adalah seorang peserta didik mampu melaksanakan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari dan dapat tertanam nilai karakter dalam dirinya; (5) Adapun factor pendukung dalam pembentukan karakter peserta didik adalah selain dari keluarga, guru, juga sarana dan prasarana yang dimiliki madrasah. Begitu pula dengan factor penghambat dalam pembentukan karakter diantaranya adalah orang tua, guru dan peserta didik tersebut. Dengan demikian manajemen pembentukan karakter peserta didik dapat berhasil secara optimal jika semua unsur yang ada bekerjasama dan saling mendukung sehingga karakter peserta didik dapat diarahkan.

Abstract

This study explores the impact of organizational justice and emotional intelligence on counterproductive work behaviour at SMPIT Insan Madani, aiming to identify their individual and collective influences. Utilizing a quantitative ex-post facto approach, the research encompasses all 33 educators at SMPIT Insan Madani, employing probability sampling for equitable participant selection. Data collection relied on questionnaires and documentation, analyzed using SPSS version 20 for descriptive and inferential statistics. Findings revealed a significant relationship between organizational justice and counterproductive work behaviour, highlighted by a t-value of 35.023 and a significance level below 0.025. Emotional intelligence also significantly affected counterproductive behaviours, as evidenced by a t-value of 1.896 with a significance below 0.025. Furthermore, the combined effect of organizational justice and emotional intelligence on such behaviours was statistically significant, indicated by an F-value of 125.640, exceeding the F-table value of 2.922, and a significance level above 0.05. A high coefficient of determination (94.5%) suggests these factors are pivotal in influencing counterproductive work behaviour at SMPIT Insan Madani, underscoring the importance of fostering a just organizational environment and enhancing emotional intelligence to mitigate negative workplace behaviours.

Abstract

This research aims to produce an animated video product of basic soccer technique material. This type of research is research and development with the Plomp development model. This development model has 3 research phases, namely preliminary research phase, development or prototyping phase, and assessment phase. Then the product validation stage was carried out with 2 experts. The results of this product validation stage, animated video media get an overall average score from both experts of 95.14% with a very valid category. At the product validation stage, a practicality test was then carried out with teachers and students to determine the level of practicality of the animated video products developed. As for the assessment results at the practicality test stage with the teacher, the animated video product received an average score of 95.2% with a very practical category. While the results of the practicality test assessment of students, animated video products get an average score of 92.46% with a very practical category. The conclusion that the animated video product developed has met the criteria of validity and practicality. Thus, this animated video product of basic soccer technique material can already be used as media in learning basic soccer techniques for students.

Abstract

This research develops a make-a-match-based puzzle learning media for Islamic Religious Education subjects with the material of five Asma'ul Husna in grade IV of SDN 25 Sabbamparu. The research aims to analyze student needs, design, development, practicality, and effectiveness of this learning media. The research uses the R&D method with the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) model, involving 21 students and two teachers. The study results showed that the make-a-match-based puzzle media was feasible with the assessment of 69.2% media experts, 97.9% material experts, and 75% linguists. The practicality of the media was considered very high by teachers (96.6%) and students (82.9%). The interpretation of the results shows that this media increases students' interest and enthusiasm for learning and helps them apply Asma'ul Husna. The recommendation is to expand the use of this media in various schools and conduct further research to measure the long-term impact on the character and morale of students.

Abstract

The objectives of this community service activity were conducted through socialization and training, including (1) enhancing the utilization of agricultural waste such as rice husks into biochar and (2) training on biochar production and its application on land. These activities used the Service Learning (SL) method and involved the community, especially students, as the primary target. The activities were conducted in the Greenhouse by all of the Agroecotechnology Study Program students in the class of 2022 at Universitas Sulawesi Barat. In this community service, students who had studied biochar production explained the process and benefits of biochar based on the materials they learned during lectures. The participants were very enthusiastic about these activities, proved by their statements that they understood the material presented by the speakers.

Abstract

Artikel ini membahas tentang gaya kepemimpinan transformasional kepala madrasah dalam membangun kedisiplinan guru di MIN 4 Tana Toraja. Penelitian ini bertujuan: untuk mengetahui kedisiplinan guru di Min 4 Tana Toraja, untuk mengetahui gaya kepemimpinan transformasional kepala madrasah dalam membangun kedisiplinan guru di MIN 4 Tana Toraja, dan untuk mengetahui faktor pendukung dan penghambat kepala madrasah dalam mendisiplinkan guru di MIN 4 Tana Toraja. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Adapun informan dalam penelitian ini yaitu kepala madrasah, dan guru. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah teknik observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Adapun teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian dan pembahasan ini menunjukkan bahwa guru di MIN 4 Tana Toraja telah menunjukkan sikap disiplin, namun masih ada guru yang tidak tepat waktu dalam menghadiri sekolah ditemukan juga faktor pendukung dan penghambat kepala madrasah dalam mendisiplinkan guru di MIN 4 Tana Toraja yaitu: (1) Faktor pendukung meliputi; kepemimpinan yang efektif dan komunikasi yang baik antara kepala madrasah dan guru. (2) faktor penghambat yaitu masih adanya guru yang tidak hadir dengan alasan seperti acara keluarga dan masalah kendaraan serta berbagai alasan lainnya.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of a point-based violation system in fostering students' character development at SMAN 7 Luwu Timur. The primary purpose is to examine how structured disciplinary measures shape student behavior, enhance responsibility, and promote ethical values within the school environment. A qualitative research method was employed, utilizing observations, structured interviews with teachers and students, and document analysis. The data were collected over an academic year to assess changes in student behavior and disciplinary trends. Findings reveal that the point-based system positively influences student discipline and moral growth. Teachers report a significant decline in behavioral infractions and an improvement in students’ awareness of ethical conduct. The system fosters accountability and self-regulation, encouraging students to take responsibility for their actions. However, challenges persist, particularly in ensuring consistent enforcement and securing parental involvement. Variations in disciplinary application sometimes undermine effectiveness, highlighting the need for comprehensive teacher training and structured implementation guidelines. The study implies that a well-structured point-based violation system can be an effective character education tool when integrated with a supportive and fair disciplinary framework. Future research should explore long-term behavioral impacts and adaptations across diverse educational settings for better sustainability and effectiveness. Policymakers and educators must collaborate to refine disciplinary approaches to balance strict enforcement with character-building strategies.

Abstract

Abstract[English]: This paper describes the mediation of religion as seen in the important role of the As'adiyah pesantren. This paper used descriptive research method (descriptive research) obtained from the results of qualitative data processing through library data collection (library research), with an interdisciplinary approach method. The analysis was using a critical analytical method with descriptive aspects, namely content analysis using deductive, inductive and comparative analysis techniques on a number of theories, especially in producing scholarship and cadre of scholars in Southeast Asia in the 20th century in Bugis cultural and contextual setting. -Makassar South Sulawesi. This papere explains that in the 20th century there has been an intellectual dynamic that culminated in the formation of the Bugis ulama network of the 20th century. This intellectual network of scholars has a link with the source of scientific authority in Makkah-Medinah which was formed at the beginning of the 20th century. The scientific link between Bugis scholars, especially Gurutta HM As'ad (1907) with K.H. Hasyim Asyari (1871), Anwar Musaddad (Garut, 1903), Zain Mun'im (Probolinggo, 1906), Zainuddin Abdul Madjid (Sumbawa, 1908), Ali Maksum (Rembang, 1915). This proves that Gurutta H.M. As'ad was one of the links of the archipelago scientific network which contributed to the birth of 20th century Muslim intellectuals in the Bugis-Makassar Land of South Sulawesi.Abstrak[Indonesia]: Paper ini menjelaskan tentang mediatisasi agama sebagaimana tampak dalam peran penting pesantren As’adiyah. Paper ini menggunakan metode descriptive research (penelitian deskriptif) yang diperoleh dari hasil pengolahan data secara kualitatif melalui pengumpulan data secara kepustakaan (library research), dengan metode pendekatan antar disipliner. Sedang analisis dilakukan menggunakan metode analitis kritis dengan aspek deskripsi, yakni analisis isi (content analysis) dengan menggunakan tehnik analisis deduktif, induktif dan komparatif terhadap sejumlah teori, Khususnya dalam memproduksi keilmuan dan pengkaderan ulama di Asia Tenggara abad ke 20 dalam latar budaya dan konteks Bugis-Makassar Sulawesi Selatan. Artikel ini menjelaskan bahwa pada abad 20 telah terjadi dinamika intelektual yang mengerucut pada terbentuk jaringan ulama Bugis abad ke 20. Jaringan intelektual ulama tersebut mempunyai mata rantai dengan sumber otoritas keilmuan di Makkah-Medinah yang terbentuk pada awal abad ke 20. Network keilmuan inilah yang mempertemukan mata rantai keilmuan antara ulama Bugis, khususnya Gurutta H.M. As’ad (1907) dengan K.H. Hasyim Asyari (1871), Anwar Musaddad (Garut, 1903), Zain Mun’im (Probolinggo, 1906), Zainuddin Abdul Madjid (Sumbawa, 1908), Ali Maksum (Rembang, 1915). Hal tersebut membuktikan bahwa Gurutta H.M. As’ad merupakan salah satu link jaringan keilmuan Nusantara yang turut melahirkan intelektual muslim abad ke 20 di Tanah Bugis-Makassar Sulawesi Selatan.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the form of managerial competence of school principals in following up curriculum changes at SMP Negeri 4 Palopo; To find out the managerial steps of school principals in following up curriculum changes at SMP Negeri 4 Palopo. The type of research used is qualitative research. The subjects of this research were principals and teachers. The research data were obtained through interviews, documentation, and observation with data analysis using processing/organizing raw materials, sorting data based on the results of rewriting, coding data according to the characteristics of the information, analytically extracting data coherence, identifying meaningful relationships between data with one another, transposing data in the form of charts, describing meaning and rewriting about the explanation of meaning. The results of this study explain that the form of managerial competence of principals at SMP Negeri 4 Palopo in following up curriculum changes is reflected in the application of data-based planning, collaboration through learning communities, and the use of technology such as e-performance systems and ARKAS applications to support transparency and data-based evaluation. Managerial steps that include planning, organizing, directing, and supervising are carried out with reflective, collaborative, and transformational approaches to empower teachers and ensure readiness for the Merdeka Curriculum.

Abstract

This study evaluates the reinforcement of religious culture in schools, focusing on the alignment between school vision and mission, the methods used to instill religious values, and the impact on student character development. A qualitative case study approach involved observations, semi-structured interviews, and document analysis. Data were collected from 15 participants, including school administrators, teachers, and students, selected through purposive sampling. Thematic analysis was used to identify patterns and insights regarding religious culture reinforcement. The results indicate that the school’s vision and mission strongly emphasize religious character-building, which is reflected in structured religious activities such as Quran recitations, congregational prayers, and religious discussions. Teachers played a crucial role in modeling religious behavior, reinforcing values through daily interactions. However, student engagement varied; some actively participated while others followed religious programs passively. Additionally, while religious reinforcement positively influenced student discipline, honesty, and respect, some students struggled to maintain these values outside the school environment, highlighting the need for more intrinsic motivation and real-world applications of religious teachings. The study suggests that enhancing interactive religious learning methods, strengthening teacher training programs, and collaborating with families and communities can improve religious culture reinforcement. Future research should explore the long-term sustainability of religious education beyond school settings. This study provides empirical insights into the effectiveness and challenges of religious culture reinforcement in schools, offering practical recommendations for educators, policymakers, and researchers.
