Abstract

This study aims to explore the dissemination of Islamic teachings to female converts through an innovative approach focusing on the revitalization of faith, economic empowerment, and mental health improvement. Utilizing a qualitative case study method, data were collected through in-depth interviews with the management of Rumah Quran Assiradj, female convert congregants, and community leaders, complemented by observation and documentation. The findings highlight the success of Islamic preaching in strengthening faith (tauhid), religious understanding, and worship practices among female converts, contributing to the development of noble character. Togetherness in study sessions fosters economic independence, while religious guidance helps reduce mental dependence. The implications of this study emphasize a collaborative preaching model between female converts and Rumah Quran as an effective approach to fortify faith, promote economic self-reliance, and enhance the mental well-being of female converts.

Abstract

Effective and efficient Hajj services require a structured performance management system. This study aims to identify and analyze the stages of performance management, including planning, management, evaluation, and appreciation, in the Hajj services at the Office of the Ministry of Religious Affairs of Kubu Raya Regency. A qualitative approach with a descriptive method was employed. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, and analyzed using data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing techniques. Data validity was ensured through triangulation. The findings indicate that Hajj services have been implemented systematically in accordance with performance management stages, beginning with the preparation of a Performance Agreement (PERKIN) as the planning stage, routine management by the head of the organizer supported by the Integrated Hajj Computerization Information System (SISKOHAT), and structured evaluations for continuous improvement. Employee performance is appreciated through awards in the form of certificates or plaques. These findings imply that a comprehensive performance management implementation can enhance the quality of public services, particularly in the administration of Hajj and Umrah. The novelty of this study lies in the integration of digital information systems throughout all stages of Hajj service performance management at the regency level.

Abstract

This study explores a sustainable human resource development management model for Generation Z by integrating Islamic pedagogy and vocational skills within the context of pesantren (Islamic boarding schools). The increasing demand for balancing spiritual and professional competencies in Islamic educational institutions necessitates structured management strategies. This research employs a qualitative approach using case studies and in-depth interviews with pesantren administrators and students. The findings reveal that structured curriculum design, digital-based training, and direct involvement in various professional sectors significantly enhance students' employability while maintaining their religious commitment. The integration of vocational training with Islamic education fosters holistic personal development, equipping students with the necessary competencies to navigate the modern workforce. This study contributes to the discourse on transformative Islamic education by demonstrating how structured management can effectively prepare Generation Z for both spiritual and professional success.

Abstract

Abstract

The stigma against female inmates presents a significant challenge to their social and economic reintegration post-incarceration. This study explores the empowerment of female inmates at the Pontianak Correctional Facility through e-business training as a means of enhancing their economic independence. The research employs a Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach, involving direct engagement with inmates to assess their needs, develop training modules, and evaluate the program’s effectiveness. The training covers fundamental e-business concepts, digital marketing strategies, financial management, and online store operations. Findings indicate that the program successfully improved participants’ digital literacy, entrepreneurial skills, and confidence in starting online businesses. Furthermore, the training contributed to reducing recidivism risks by equipping inmates with sustainable income-generating skills. Challenges such as limited access to technology and post-release business continuity were identified, emphasizing the need for continued mentorship and institutional support. This study highlights the potential of digital entrepreneurship as a reintegration strategy, advocating for broader implementation in correctional facilities.
