Abstract

This study aims to improve students' assessment and inference skills through the application of the scientific approach. The research was conducted with a pre-experimental design using the single group pretest-posttest method. The study population involved 85 students of class XI of SMAN 1 Blangpegayon, and 22 students of class XI science 2 were selected as samples using purposive sampling. Essay tests on sound waves were used to assess students' critical thinking skills through pretest and posttest. Data were analyzed using N-Gain test and paired sample t test. The results showed that students' evaluation ability had an N-Gain value of 0.97, while the ability to conclude reached 0.99, both of which were classified as high. Hypothesis testing showed a significant difference between pretest and posttest scores with a value of 0.001 <0.05, based on the paired sample t test. Thus, it can be said that employing a scientific approach to the learning process can enchance the capacity to evaluate and conclude students

Abstract

Keripik pisang merupakan makanan ringan atau cemilan yang cukup diminati oleh masyarakat Indonesia. Olahan Keripik pisang dengan berbagai macam aneka rasa mempunyai peluang bisnis yang cukup tinggi jika di olah dengan benar dan dipasarkan secara tepat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui berapa besar tingkat pendapatan Masa pandemic Covid 19 usaha keripik pisang pada Industri “Cahaya Indi” Desa Tanah Mea Kecamatan Banawa Selatan Kabupaten Donggala. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis pendapatan Jenis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data primer dan data sekunder. Penelitian dilaksanakan selama 3 bulan yakni pada bulan Juni sampai Agustus 2021 Lokasi penelitian ditentukan secara sengaja (purposive) dengan pertimbangan bahwa Industri keripik pisang “Cahaya Indi” merupakan Industri yang memproduksi kripik pisang di Kabupaten Donggala dan sudah terdaftar di Dinas Perindustrian Perdagangan DiKota Palu. Responden yang diambil dalam penelitian terdiri dari 4 orang yaitu pimpinan, 2 orang karyawan bagian produksi, dan 1 orang bagian pemasaran. Hasil penelitin menunjukan bahwa hasil pendapatan yang diperoleh usaha keripik pisang pada industri cahaya indi mengalami penurunan pada tahun 2021. Dimana pendapatan sebelum masa pandemi covid-19 pada Industri Cahaya Indi pada tahun 2019 sebesar Rp. 20.288.478 sementara pendapatan Industri Cahaya Indi saat masa pandemi covid-19 tahun 2021 sebesar Rp. 7.924.005.

Abstract

The high unemployment rate among vocational school graduates, which reached 8.62%, reflects the gap between the purpose of establishing vocational schools as a creator of skilled labor and the real conditions in the field. This study aims to analyze the effect of using student worksheets (LKPD) based on the teaching factory model integrated with the science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) approach on the entrepreneurial readiness of vocational school students.Using a quantitative approach with a pretest-posttest design in a single group, this study involved eleventh-grade students majoring in electrical installation, focusing on solar power installation materials. The research instrument was an entrepreneurial readiness questionnaire covering six key indicators: self-confidence, task and result orientation, risk-taking, leadership, originality, and entrepreneurial readiness. The analysis results showed that the data were normally distributed based on the normality test with a value 0.05. Furthermore, the T-test results showed a significance value of 0.001, indicating a significant difference before and after the treatment. All indicators of entrepreneurial readiness significantly increased, with an average N-Gain score of 0.85, categorized as high. These findings confirm that the teaching factory-based learning model integrated with STEM is effective in improving students' practical skills, conceptual understanding, and readiness to face the workforce and build independent businesses. Therefore, this study recommends using teaching factory-based LKPD integrated with STEM as an innovative learning medium to enhance vocational students' entrepreneurial competencies

Abstract

Students' ability to think critically, particularly in terms of providing advanced clarification, is still relatively low. Therefore, innovative learning media is needed to encourage the development of these skills. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of STEM-based Student Worksheets (LKPD) assisted by liveworksheets in improving students' critical thinking skills in physics learning. These LKPD are designed by integrating the Engineering Design Process (EDP) stages of the STEM approach. The study was conducted using a quantitative approach with a one-group pretest-posttest pre-experimental design. The research subjects consisted of 33 students from class X 1 of SMA Negeri 5 Banda Aceh, selected through purposive sampling. The research instrument was an essay question to measure students' critical thinking skills, analyzed using the Shapiro-Wilk normality test, N-Gain test, and Wilcoxon Signed-Rank test. The analysis results showed a significant increase after the intervention, with an average N-Gain of 0.94, which falls into the high category, and a significance value of 0.000 (<0.05). These findings indicate that the use of STEM-based E-LKPD integrated with liveworksheet is an effective and contextual learning strategy in developing students' critical thinking skills.

Abstract

The aim of this study was to determine the effect of neem leaf extract (Azadirachta indica) on parasitemia of rats infected with Trypanosoma evansi (T. evansi) Aceh local isolate. A total of 24 male rats aged three months were used in this study and randomly divided into six treatment groups equally. The negative control group (K0) without T. evansi infection and neem leaf extract, the positive control group (K1) was infected with T. evansi but no neem leaf extract given, group K2, K3, K4, and K5 were infected with 5x104 T. evansi and were given neem leaf extract after patent infection with dose of 50, 100, 400, and 800 mg/kg BW respectively. The extract was given orally for three consecutive days. On the fourth day, rat blood was drawn for parasitemia examination. The results showed that no T. evansi detected in rats in negative control group (K0), while parasitemia in group K1; K2; K3; K4; and K5 was 12,295 x106/mL; 10,495 x106/mL; 9,360 x106/mL; 5,080x106/mL; and 2,398x106/mL of blood, respectively. Percentage of inhibition of parasitemia in K2, K3, K4, and K5 reached 14.64, 23.78, 58.68, and 80.50%, respectively. Based on the result of the study, neem leaf extract of 800 mg/kg BW gave the highest reduction of parasitemia in rats infected with T. evansi.

Abstract

This research explores and analyzes the problems that arose in connection with the problematic rule of law in Aceh, specifically when the Aceh Governor Circular Letter Number 451/11286 was issued with the Aceh Qanun Jinayat, especially in Article 12 Paragraph (1) regarding khalwat. Basically, the qanun limits the meaning of khalwat in the field of work or in public places, while the Aceh Governor's SE wants khalwat acts to continue to be enforced even if they are carried out in public places. This research aims to identify tensions or conflicts that may arise between the provisions of the Qanun and the Governor's SE and their impact on the implementation and understanding of the law later, because these two regulations provide opportunities in terms of legal interpretation and even practical implementation. This research uses normative juridical research methods because it only discusses issues of legal rules, specifically in Qanun Article 12 paragraph (1) Qanun Jinayat Aceh with Governor's Decree Number 451/11286. The results of the research show that there are fundamental differences regarding the criminalization of khalwat in the Aceh Qanun Jinayat and the Aceh Governor's SE, this could lead to legal conflicts in the future due to legal interpretation by certain parties. The legal dynamics in Aceh regarding khalwat must be addressed as soon as possible before a legal conflict occurs later, by revising the meaning of khalwat and it must be adapted to the social and religious conditions of the Acehnese people Keywords: Problematic, Legal Rules, Khalwat.  Abstrak: Sehubungan dengan problematika aturan hukum di Aceh, tepatnya ketika terbitnya Surat Edaran Gubernur Aceh Nomor 451/11286 dengan Qanun Jinayat Aceh khususnya dalam Pasal 12 Ayat (1) terkait khalwat. Pada dasarnya qanun membatasi makna khalwat dalam bidang pekerjaan atau di tempat umum, sedangkan SE Gubernur Aceh menginginkan perbuatan khalwat tetap diberlakukan walau dilakukan di tempat publik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi ketegangan atau konflik yang mungkin timbul antara ketentuan Qanun dan SE Gubernur serta dampaknya pada pelaksanaan dan pemahaman hukum nantinya, sebab kedua aturan tersebut memberi peluang dalam hal interpretasi hukum bahkan sampai dalam pelaksanaan praktis. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian yuridis normatif karena hanya membahas permasalahan aturan hukum semata, tepatnya dalam qanun Pasal 12 ayat (1) Qanun Jinayat Aceh dengan SE Gubernur Nomor 451/11286. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terjadinya perbedaan mendasar terkait pemidanaan khalwat yang ada dalam Qanun Jinayat Aceh dengan SE Gubernur Aceh, hal ini bisa menimbulkan konflik hukum ke depannya akibat terjadinya penafsiran hukum oleh pihak-pihak tertentu. Dinamika hukum  di Aceh terkait khalwat ini sesegera mungkin harus ditangani sebelum terjadi konflik hukum nantinya, dengan cara merevisi ulang terkait makna khalwat dan harus disesuaikan dengan kondisi sosial dan keagamaan masyarakat Aceh.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the needs and expectations for the development of digital student worksheets based on Problem-based Learning (PBL), Socio-scientific Issues (SSI), and Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM), which can enhance students' critical thinking skills. This study employed a descriptive method using mixed approachs involving 105 respondents consisting of 73.3% teachers and 26.7% students from 20 provinces in Indonesia. Data were collected through an online questionnaire, in-depth interviews, curriculum analysis, and literature review, then analyzed using triangulation to validate the findings.The results showed that the majority supported the development of flipbook-based digital worksheets, featuring keyword search, links to videos or animations, and interactive quizzes. The integration of PBL enables students to solve real-world problems, such as the impacts of smoking habits or air pollution, while the SSI approach fosters social awareness. The STEM approach provides opportunities for students to conduct experiments and generate creative solutions relevant to everyday life. This study concludes that the development of PBL-SSI-STEM-based worksheets is not only aligned with deep learning but also provides meaningful learning experiences. These worksheets are expected to help students understand abstract concepts, enhance critical thinking skills, and prepare them to face global challenges through innovative technological approaches.
