Abstract

The water meter is a tool used to calculate the volume of water distributed by PDAM (Regional Water Supply Company) to customers, so that the amount to be paid can be determined. Measuring the level of accuracy of the customer's water meter aims to analyze the level of deviation of water volume measurements by water meters that occur in the field. This study is intended to analyze the effect of water meter calibration on the level of non-physical water loss. The research was conducted on 88 house connections in the Tozai Indah Lama area, Pematangsiantar City by comparing the readings of the customer's water meter with a 20 liter volume vessel. This study covers the relationship between the level of accuracy of the water meter and water loss. From the research results, the level of water loss has decreased from the beginning5.87 %become5.32 %. to the total water loss rate.

The factors that affect the occurrence of rheumatoid arthritis (RA) in the elderly in the UPTD Puskesmas Tanah Jawa, Simalungun regency in 2020 are prone to occur at the age of 44 years to 59 years and the age of 60 years up to 70 year. Patients with rheumatoid arthritis (RA) in the elderly mostly occurred in women with a total of 79 respondents (79.8%). According to (Lukman and Ningsih 2014),the occurrence of rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is due to hormonal disturbances (Estrogen) in the body of 99 elderly people, namely work activity factors which reached 61 people (61.8 %) and genetic factors amounted to 39 people (39.4%)

Abstract

Blood glucose examination in the laboratory is used to determine blood glucose levels in the body. Delay in examination time can cause a decrease in blood glucose levels, so the results obtained do not match the actual body condition. This study aims to determine the difference between blood glucose levels in EDTA plasma samples and serum which were examined immediately and delayed for two hours. This research was conducted using an experimental observation method, namely clinical laboratory observations by measuring blood glucose levels using blood chemistry. The results of examining serum and plasma glucose levels in this study showed that the average value of glucose levels with plasma EDTA which was checked immediately was 99 mg/dl delayed 67.9 mg/dl and serum which was checked immediately was 100.8 mg/dl delayed 100.4 mg /dl.
