Abstract

AbstractThis research purpose is to know the influence of applying role playing methode assisted by comics in learning Citizenship Education to the learning result of third grade students of Bawamai Primary School Pontianak. The research method is experimental as Pre-Experimental Design of non equivalent control group design. The population of all students from two classes is 64 people, the sample of this research is IIIB students with 33 people as experimental classes and IIIC as a control class with 31 people. The Used Data collection techniques are measurement techniques and data collector tools are written tests of multiple choice. The average post-test results of experimental class is 79.06 and the control post-test average is 71.89. The result of hypothesis test using t-test (T-test) obtained t count = 36,10 whereas for dk (33 + 31-2 = 62) with significance level ? = 5% obtained t table = 1,676, which means t count> t tabel, , this proves that there is an effect of applying role playing role-playing asisted by comics in learning civic education. Based on result of calculation of effect size (ES) obtained ES = 0.67 which included medium criteria, about 0,67 <0,8. Thus it can be said that the application of role playing role playing comic in study of Citizenship Education gives positive influence to student learning result of third class Bawamai Primary School Pontianak. Keywords: Influence, Role Playing Method, Comics, Citizenship Education, Learning                  Result.

Abstract

AbstrakKegiatan ini meningkatkan pemahaman pada mahasiswa tentang pentingnya soft skills dalam profesi guru, memberikan bekal praktis dalam mengembangkan soft skills yang relevan dengan konteks pembelajaran di sekolah dasar, dan meningkatkan kompetensi calon guru sekolah dasar dalam menerapkan soft skills dalam interaksi dengan siswa dan rekan sejawat. Metode penyampaian berupa bimbingan langsung, dilaksanakan selama sehari dengan fokus pada konsep dan praktik penerapan soft skills yang relevan dengan konteks pembelajaran di sekolah dasar. Kegiatan dilaksanakan di Kampus PGSD FKIP Untan, diikuti oleh 33 mahasiswa yang tergabung dalam kepengurusan HIMA PGSD Tahun 2023/2024. Hasil akhir memberikan dampak positif dalam menambah bekal menjadi calon guru yang profesional dalam hal keterampilan nonteknis atau interpersonal yang kelak dapat diaplikasi dalam mengemban tugas sebagai guru. Kata kunci: Penguatan Soft Skills, Calon Guru Sekolah Dasar. AbstractThis activity increases students' understanding of the importance  of soft skills in the teaching profession, provides practical provisions in developing soft skills that are relevant to the learning context in elementary schools, and improves the competence of prospective elementary school teachers in applying soft skills in interactions with students and peers. The delivery method is in the form of direct guidance, carried out for a day with a focus on the concept and practice of applying soft skills that are relevant to the learning context in elementary school. The activity was held at the PGSD FKIP Untan Campus, attended by 33 students who are members of the management of HIMA PGSD in 2023/2024. The final result has a positive impact in adding to the provision of becoming a professional teacher candidate in terms of non-technical or interpersonal skills that can later be applied in carrying out duties as a teacher. Keywords: Strengthening Soft Skills, Elementary School Teacher Candidates.

Abstract

Assessment in mathematics learning is often limited to worksheets completed individually by students under the supervision of the teacher. The use of less varied assessment methods results in low student engagement, interest, and motivation in learning. Providing engaging assessment tools is one effort to create an enjoyable learning atmosphere. The KIT Matching Card is a medium that can be used as an assessment tool in learning. The KIT Matching Card is a learning medium in which students match cards consisting of two parts: question cards and answer cards, which are paired by the students to match the question with the correct answer. This study uses the Research and Development (R&D) method by applying the 4D development model. The validity results of the developed media meet the criteria for being highly valid, with an average percentage of 96.82% for the material aspect and 98.99% for the media aspect. The limited trial development using the KIT Matching Card meets the criteria for being highly effective as a learning medium, with an average percentage of 94.44% in teacher responses and 86.45% in student responses. Therefore, the KIT Matching Card is not only considered theoretically and technically valid but is also deemed practically beneficial by users in the classroom.

Abstract

This research aims to develop a book aimed at elementary school students as education about the dangers related to bullying. This book contains educational content about bullying in the school environment. The research method used is development research. The data needed in research on the development of the book "Bujang Dare Anti-Bullying" for elementary school students in the city of Pontianak as education on the dangers of bullying consists of two types of data, namely qualitative data and quantitative data. The research data collection instruments used include; (1) checklist or instrument validation questionnaire sheet at the product validation stage, (2) questionnaire sheet at the product trial stage, and (3) questionnaire sheet at the usage trial stage. The material validation results obtained a score of 86.76 with a very valid category; The language validation results obtained a score of 85 with a very valid category; The design validation results obtained a score of 88.17 with a very valid category. Meanwhile, the results of student responses regarding the practicality of using the book product "Bujang Dare Anti-Bullying" for elementary school students in the Pontianak obtained a practicality score of 96.55 with very practical criteria. Meanwhile, the results of the teacher's response obtained a practicality score of 94.60 with very practical criteria. In conclusion, the Bujang Dare Anti-Bullying book not only educates students about the dangers of bullying, but also strengthens local values and morals, so it is suitable to be used as open material to create a safer and child-friendly school environment.

Abstract

Ideally, mathematics education is expected to equip students with creative thinking skills, which involve innovative problem-solving, and the ability to see a problem from various perspectives and provide multiple alternative solutions. One effort that can be made is to provide social justice value interventions in mathematics learning in elementary schools. The application of social justice values ??in learning can have a positive impact on the development of student's creativity in solving problems. Therefore, this study aims to determine the contribution of social justice value interventions in mathematics learning to improving students' creative thinking skills. This study is a quantitative descriptive study. Participants were students at Pontianak Elementary School in grade V with 45 participants. This study selected participants using a purposive sample with the consideration that participants were selected based on availability and representation in heterogeneous groups that reflect socio-economic diversity. Students' creative thinking skills were measured twice, namely before and after the social justice value intervention by focusing on four indicators: fluency, flexibility, originality, and elaboration. The results showed that the intervention of social justice values ??in mathematics learning improved students' creative thinking skills. In the fluency indicator, the average score increased from 76.00 to 89.33. Then flexibility indicator, the average score increased from 61.33 to 83.11. In the originality indicator, the average score increased from 65.78 to 85.78. The last indicator, elaboration, the average score increased from 67.56 to 85.78 ABSTRAKIdealnya, pendidikan matematika diharapkan dapat membekali siswa dengan kemampuan berpikir kreatif, yang melibatkan pemecahan masalah secara inovatif, serta kemampuan agar dapat melihat suatu persoalan dari berbagai sudut pandang dan memberikan berbagai alternatif solusi. Salah satu upaya yang dapat dilakukan adalah memberikan intervensi nilai berkeadilan sosial pada pembelajaran matematika di sekolah dasar. penerapan nilai berkeadilan sosial dalam pembelajaran dapat memberikan dampak positif pada perkembangan kreativitas siswa dalam memecahkan masalah. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui  kontribusi intervensi nilai berkeadilan sosial dalam pembelajaran matematika terhadap peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Partisipan merupakan siswa di Sekolah Dasar Pontianak di kelas V dengan 45 partisipan. Penelitian ini memilih partisipan menggunakan purposive sample dengan pertimbangan bahwa partisipan dipilih berdasarkan ketersediaan dan representasi dalam kelompok heterogen yang mencerminkan keberagaman sosial-ekonomi. Kemampuan berpikir kreatif peserta didik diukur sebanyak dua kali yaitu pada sebelum intervensi dan sesudah intervensi nilai berkeadilan sosial dengan berfokus pada empat indikator yakni kelancaran, keluwesan, keaslian, dan pendetailan. Hasilnya didapatkan bahwa intervensi nilai berkeadilan sosial pada pembelajaran matematika mampu meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif peserta didik. Pada indikator kelancaran, skor rata-ratanya meningkat dari 76,00 menjadi 89,33. Kemudian pada indikator keluwesan, skor rata-ratanya meningkat dari 61,33 menjadi 83,11. Pada indikator keaslian, skor rata-ratanya meningkat dari 65,78 menjadi 85,78. Dan indikator yang terakhir yaitu kerincian, skor rata-ratanya meningkat dari 67,56 menjadi 85,78
