Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of this reasearch is to investigate whether or not the use of “Manipulative Media” effective toward the students’ achievement in learning mathematic on the third grade students of state elementary schools 37 Southeast Pontianak. This research applied a quasi-experimental design. The population of this research was III B as the experimental group and III A as the control group which tottaly consist of 62 students. The research findings showed that the score of III B was 82.69, while III A got 72.27. Based on the measurement parametric  statistic, the result of t-test (2.871) > t-table (1.671). Thus, the alternative hypothesis (Ha) was accepted. Based on the analyse, there is a difference mean score of students’ achievement between using pictures and using manipulative media. The effectiveness of manipulative media towards the students’ achievement in mathematic  on third grade was 0,73 which categorized as high. Keywords: Effect, Manipulative Media, Students’ Achievment in Mathematic

Abstract

SMK Bhakti adalah sekolah Pusat Keunggulan serta banyak mendapat prestasi dari tingkat kabupaten sampai dengan nasional bahkan ada juga yang sampai magang ke Jepang, banyaknya Perjanjian Kerja (PK) yang menawarkan diri serta menjalin kerja sama dengan dunia usaha serta dunia industri baik di tingkat provinsi sampai dengan tingkat internasional, hal ini guna mempersiapkan siswa-siswi agar terserap dalam dunia kerja nantinya sehingga ahli dibidangnnya masing-masing serta memaksimal potensi peserta didik sesuai dengan minat bakat, serta jurusan yang dipilih. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah, 1) Untuk mengetahui jenis-jenis inovasi kurikulum yang diterapkan di SMK Bhakti Loa Janan, 2) Untuk mengetahui strategi inovasi kurikulum yang diterapkan di SMK Bhakti Loa Janan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa dalam inovasi kurikulum yang di terapkan di SMK Bhakti sendiri terdapat dua unsur utama yaitu 1) jenis-jenis inovasi kurikulum terdiri atas 4 jenis yakni inovasi kurikulum berbasis kompotensi siswa, inovasi kurikulum berbasis masyarakat, inovasi kurikulum berbasis terpadu dan inovasi kurikulum berbasis sikap. 2) Strategi inovasi kurikulum yang diterapkan terdapat 5 strategi yakni strategi persamaan persepsi, strategi fasilitas, strategi pendidikan, strategi bujukan dan strategi pelaksanaan. SMK Bhakti Loa Janan sesuai hasil penelitian merupakan sekolah yang memaksimal inovasi serta kreatifitas dalam mengembangkan potensi peserta didik secara maksimal sesuai dengan jurusan yang dipilih, menjamin tersedianya fasilitas serta guru yang profesional dalam memberikan pengajaran serta praktek terhadap siswa-siswinya.

Abstract

From the results of the research, it was found that many factors affect the professional competence of a teacher. Two of the most dominant factors influencing professional competence are "work habits and discipline." This study aims to examine the influence of these two variables on the professional competence of teaching teachers after participating in PPG DALJAB. Data-based correlational method obtained from the distribution of questionnaires and observations. Data was collected from the population of secondary school teachers in South Sumatra which amounted to 29,950, while a random sample was taken from 150 teachers who had completed the PPG DALJAB. The results of the study succeeded in proving that the work habits and discipline of secondary school teachers after participating in PPG DALJAB had a positive and significant effect on teaching professional competence, both partially and simultaneously. However, there was no significant difference in the professional competence of teaching teachers after attending PPG DALJAB with the previous one.

Abstract

Community Service activities carried out by four lecturers of the Prasetiya Mandiri Polytechnic play a crucial role in the preservation of Palembang City culture and tourism, especially the Telok Abang Ship tradition related to the commemoration of Independence Day on August 17. This program prioritizes collaboration between the academic world and the community in preserving and promoting Palembang's rich cultural heritage. The Telok Abang ship is not only a cultural symbol, but also an important part of the identity and pride of the people of Palembang. The involvement of the younger generation in this preservation shows a strategic effort to instill awareness about the importance of preserving local culture and strengthening the spirit of nationalism. In addition, this activity shows the significant contribution of universities in supporting the preservation of local culture and tourism through community service programs. Thus, this program is not only successful in preserving cultural traditions, but also in developing local tourism and strengthening national identity.

Abstract

Bisnis Islami memiliki peran penting dalam pengembangan ekonomi kreatif, khususnya di komunitas Muslim. Penelitian ini mengangkat isu krusial berupa bagaimana prinsip-prinsip syariah seperti larangan riba, etika perdagangan, dan keberlanjutan ekonomi diterapkan dalam bisnis kreatif, serta dampaknya terhadap pemberdayaan ekonomi lokal. Masalah utama yang dihadapi adalah minimnya inovasi, keterbatasan akses ke teknologi, dan tantangan dalam membangun daya saing di pasar global. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi kontribusi bisnis Islami terhadap ekonomi kreatif serta mengidentifikasi tantangan dan peluangnya. Dengan pendekatan studi observasi natural, data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara semi-terstruktur, dan dokumentasi pelaku usaha kreatif berbasis Islami. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bisnis Islami berkontribusi pada pertumbuhan ekonomi lokal melalui praktik yang etis dan inklusif, meskipun terkendala akses ke pasar global. Kesimpulan menunjukkan perlunya sinergi antara inovasi dan dukungan kebijakan untuk meningkatkan kontribusi sektor ini.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of Sharia education in improving Sharia banking literacy among students and students through a descriptive qualitative approach. Data was collected through in-depth interviews, observation of learning activities, and analysis of learning documents, such as modules and activity reports. The study results show that Sharia education strategically strengthens students' understanding of the main concepts of Islamic banking, such as mudharabah, murabahah, and ijarah. Practice-based teaching methods, digital media integration, and banking simulation programs have effectively increased Islamic banking literacy. However, the main challenges are limited learning resources and access to Islamic financial institutions. This study provides academic contributions in mapping effective strategies in Sharia education and recommends collaboration between educational institutions and Sharia finance practitioners to overcome these obstacles

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi peran festival kuliner lokal di Palembang dalam meningkatkan daya tarik wisatawan melalui pengembangan ekonomi kreatif. Masalah utama yang dihadapi adalah kurangnya dokumentasi terkait dampak festival terhadap pemberdayaan pelaku UMKM, pelestarian budaya lokal, dan promosi wisata kuliner. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi kontribusi festival dalam mendukung ekonomi kreatif sekaligus memperkuat identitas budaya Palembang. Menggunakan metode etnografi, data dikumpulkan melalui observasi langsung, wawancara mendalam dengan pelaku UMKM, penyelenggara, dan wisatawan, serta analisis dokumen terkait. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa festival kuliner lokal berkontribusi signifikan terhadap inovasi produk, perluasan jaringan bisnis, dan promosi pariwisata. Selain itu, festival ini menjadi medium efektif dalam memperkenalkan kekayaan budaya kuliner Palembang kepada audiens yang lebih luas. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa integrasi antara budaya lokal dan ekonomi kreatif dalam festival kuliner dapat menjadi strategi berkelanjutan untuk menarik wisatawan sekaligus mendukung perkembangan ekonomi daerah.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dampak gadget terhadap minat menbaca Al-Qur’an pada anak di Desa Kawuwu. Penelitian ini berangkat dari sebuah permasalah yang dilihat oleh peneliti terkait denga berkurangnya minat anak dala membaca Al-Qur’an yang dikarenakan oleh gadget. Hadirnya teknologi seperti gadget sebenarnya adalah sebagai sebuah media untuk memudahkan manusia dalam berkomunikasi, interaksi, berbisnis dan lain-lain, namun banyak dari kita terutama anak-anak menyalahgunakanya sehingga menganggu aktivitas mereka dalam belajar termasuk mengaji. Hasil penelitian ini menemukan bahwa Dampak gadget terhadap minat membaca Al-Qur’an di desa Kawuwu sangat berpengaruh. hal ini bisa kita lihat dari perubahan minat ana-anak di Desa Kawuwu saat sekarang yang jauh berbeda dengan yang terdahulu. sebab gadget sudah banyak dimiliki oleh anak-anak di desa Kawuwu juga disertai dengan tersedianya jaringan internet,wifi dan sebagainya. Untuk menghadapi problem tersebut, guru memiliki cara yang beragam dalam menyikapinya. adapuun cara yang dilakukan oleh ngaji di desa Kawuwu sendiri ialah berkomunikasih dengan guru sekolah, orang tua murid utuk bagaimana sama-sama mecari solusi bekerjasama untuk mendidi anak-naknya dibalik permasalah tersebut.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the interference of the Indonesian language with the use of English by hotel and restaurant staff in the tourist area of Jakabaring Sport Center, Palembang. The focus of the study includes grammatical and phonological interference patterns influenced by the use of regional languages, especially the Palembang dialect, in professional communication. The results showed that interference occurred significantly, with four main points of word selection inference, phonological interference, grammatical inference, and cause of inference. The discussion identified that the leading causes of interference were the lack of formal training, the dominance of regional languages, and the lack of a work environment that supports English language practice. These findings highlight the importance of locally-based English training design to improve staff communication competencies. The study concluded that language interference can be minimized through continuous training and the integration of learning technologies, ultimately improving the service quality of the hospitality and restaurant sectors.

Abstract

This study generally aims to determine the leadership style of school principals in increasing the professionalism of teacher performance at SMK PGRI 1, Semarang City. The approach used in this study is a qualitative approach, with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation studies. The research subjects were school principals, teachers, school committees, and students at SMK PGRI 1 in Semarang City. The results of the study can be explained as follows: (1) the principal's leadership style is inferred from eight aspects that the researcher has determined, namely: (a) the daily behaviour of the principal shows an attitude of concern, openness, cheerfulness, firmness, wisdom, discipline and commitment and has emotions stable; (b) the delegation of tasks is carried out in a fair manner and the provision of direction; (c) decision making is carried out jointly/consensus; (d) supervision carried out by directly monitoring progress; (e) school development includes the development of school facilities and infrastructure, extracurriculars, learning and teachers and education staff; (f) open and two-way communication using clear and easy-to-understand language; (g) motivation by giving encouragement/enthusiasm and meeting the needs of all school personnel and (h) rewards in the form of praise and thanks. in leading the principal using a group leadership style. So that it can be understood that in an effort to improve the performance of teachers and education staff, the principal empowers them, develops their competence, and provides motivation and awards; (2) the factors that influence group leadership style are: (a) the leader himself has personality, past experience, and high expectations for all school personnel to develop the school; (b) the characteristics of superiors who prioritize the task implementation process; (c) the characteristics of subordinates who show enthusiasm and willingness to change; (d) task requirements by providing guidance regarding task clarity; (e) organizational climate and policies can help improve the quality of human resources in the school environment
