Abstract

The purpose of this research is to investigate how student learning results, teacher professional development, and the efficacy of school administration are affected by the shift in leadership in the digital age in technology-driven management of education governance. A qualitative research approach was used in the study's design, and semi-structured interviews with teachers, students, and school administrators were used to collect data. Triangulation method was used in the research to analyse school policy documents and practices pertaining to technology integration. At SD Muhammadiyah 14 Palembang, the results demonstrated a considerable improvement in students' academic performance through technology-based education management. Personalized learning materials are made available to students through the use of educational software and online resources, which also improves academic performance. Furthermore, the use of digital platforms for feedback and evaluation has made it easier for teachers to monitor students' progress in real time and effectively, enabling them to offer focused interventions. The present study underscores the noteworthy influence of technology-driven education governance on the academic achievements of students, the professional growth of educators, and the efficiency of school administration at SD Muhammadiyah 14 Palembang. The study points up a number of integration-related difficulties that school administrators must carefully analyse and handle. The study's recommendations are intended to address these issues and enhance the efficacy of SD Muhammadiyah 14 Palembang's technology-based education management in the digital age.

From the results of the research, it was found that many factors affect the professional competence of a teacher. Two of the most dominant factors influencing professional competence are "work habits and discipline." This study aims to examine the influence of these two variables on the professional competence of teaching teachers after participating in PPG DALJAB. Data-based correlational method obtained from the distribution of questionnaires and observations. Data was collected from the population of secondary school teachers in South Sumatra which amounted to 29,950, while a random sample was taken from 150 teachers who had completed the PPG DALJAB. The results of the study succeeded in proving that the work habits and discipline of secondary school teachers after participating in PPG DALJAB had a positive and significant effect on teaching professional competence, both partially and simultaneously. However, there was no significant difference in the professional competence of teaching teachers after attending PPG DALJAB with the previous one.

Abstract

The current study looked into the grammar learning techniques (GLS) employed by SMK Negeri 6 Palembang students. In particular, it looked at the mean variations in the GLS dependent on the students' competence levels. The data was gathered through a survey-based quantitative research design. Undergraduate grammar course students at SMK Negeri 6 Palembang were randomly given a set of surveys via Google Forms. Forty students answered the questionnaire, making them research participants. To evaluate the data, both descriptive and inferential analysis were performed. The results showed that the most frequently employed cognitive, metacognitive, affective, and social strategies were, in that order, taking notes while listening to their teacher's explanations, figuring out why they made mistakes, pushing themselves to practice grammar, and asking friends for assistance. It was discovered that students most frequently employed social strategy. The study also showed that more high proficient students than low proficient students employed all strategies. For future research, teachers might adapt their teaching strategy to align with students' grammar learning strategies by using the research findings. Less skilled students can also pick up the strategy employed by the more skilled students, allowing them to gain from using the strategies in their own learning grammar.

Abstract

This study identifies instances of technological advancement where AI was used in an intelligent classroom. A learner is more likely to learn concepts via a visual medium than from a literary one, such as smart classrooms and virtual reality programs. The inability to collaborate in education utilizing AI to create a smart classroom for increasing student learning and developing achievements was one of the new technologies' shortcomings. The idea behind that is to teach the learner through visual materials that are significantly easier for them to understand and retain than text-based lessons. The smart classroom makes decisions about how measurement data and classes of elegant class features can contribute to and lead to implementing training methods for manageable improvement in the act of authentic teaching forcefully. This study's methodology focuses on providing a review of the various types of smart classroom technologies that are now available. The outcome demonstrates the considerable influence and suggests improving additional technologies utilized in smart classrooms. The Smart level demonstrates how 3D symbolism and learning techniques are used to study and understand various concepts. This article offers a thorough analysis of the smart classroom and how it can significantly advance the utilization of technology development approaches

Abstract

This research examines the practice of entrepreneurship education in universities and offers insight into the future direction in this field. The study evaluated various approaches and methodologies applied in entrepreneurship education programs at universities worldwide through a comprehensive literature review. The main focus of this study is to identify the latest trends, challenges faced, and opportunities that can be utilized to improve the effectiveness of entrepreneurship education. The review results show that entrepreneurship education programs vary significantly in curriculum, teaching methods, and industry involvement. Some universities have adopted interdisciplinary and practical approaches, including business incubators, mentoring programs, and project-based learning. However, challenges such as lack of resources, teaching quality differences, and program impact assessment limitations still need to be addressed. The research suggests several future directions for entrepreneurship education in universities, including increased collaboration between academics and industry practitioners, integration of digital technologies for more flexible and interactive learning, and better evaluation frameworks to measure learning outcomes and the long-term impact of entrepreneurship programs. This research contributes to the literature by providing insight into how universities can develop and implement more effective entrepreneurship education programs that are relevant to market needs

Abstract

The low speaking skills of students in the context of learning English for specific purposes, such as tourism, encourage the need for a more effective teaching approach. This study aims to analyze the ARCS Model's effectiveness in improving students' speaking accuracy and fluency in the tourism study program at Politeknik Negeri Sriwijaya. This study used a quasi experimental design with a pretest and posttest approach, involving 60 EFL students (22 males and 38 females) aged 18–20 years who took the English for Hospitality course in the second semester of the 2025 academic year. The homogeneity of the participants' initial abilities was tested using the Oxford Placement Test (OPT). The participants were randomly divided into an experimental group (with the ARCS Model) and a control group (with conventional methods). The instrument used was the Cambridge PET speaking test, with two assessment indicators: Error-Free Clauses per T-unit (EFC/T) for accuracy and Words per Minute (W/M) for fluency. Data analysis was done using MANOVA with the help of IBM SPSS Statistics software version 24.0. The results showed a statistically significant improvement in the experimental group for both aspects of speaking skills, with a significance value of p < 0.001, and a Partial Eta Squared effect size of 0.522 (accurate) and 0.805 (fluent). These findings concluded that the ARCS Model effectively improves speaking skills, especially fluency, compared to conventional teaching methods. Therefore, integrating the ARCS Model in the foreign language curriculum at vocational institutions is recommended to strengthen students' communicative competence and competitiveness in the global tourism industry.
