Abstract

The purpose of this study were (1) To analyze financial health conditions of retail companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) from 2013 to 2017, (2) To analyze the relationship between financial health conditions with companies’ status based on an integral process of financial distress using Pearson correlation and (3) To analyze what factors (financial ratios and macroeconomics) which affected to financial distress using panel data regression. Fourteen retail companies were selected as samples based on purposive sampling. The results showed that retail companies in telecommunication devices, building materials, convenience store models and minimarkets had more potential to experience financial distress. The results of the Pearson correlation showed that there was a weak and negative correlation between DSCR as a proxy of financial distress with deterioration performance and cash flow problem. The financial ratio variables such as, the current ratio and return on equity, had a positive and significant effect on DSCR. Whereas, the debt to equity ratio had a negative and significant effect on DSCR. Meanwhile, significant macroeconomic variables were gross domestic product and interest rate. Gross domestic product had a positive effect on DSCR, while interest rates had a negative effect on DSCR. Keywords: financial distress (debt service coverage ratio), financial ratios, macroeconomic, panel data regression, retail companies Abstrak: Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah (1) Menganalisis kondisi kesehatan keuangan perusahaan subsektor ritel yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia dari tahun 2013 sampai 2017, (2) Menganalisis hubungan kondisi kesehatan keuangan dengan status perusahaan berdasarkan proses integral financial distress menggunakan analisis korelasi pearson dan (3) Menganalisis faktor-faktor keuangan dan makroekonomi yang berpengaruh terhadap financial distress menggunakan analisis regresi data panel. Sebanyak 14 perusahaan ritel dipilih sebagai sampel menggunakan purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa perusahaan ritel yang bergerak dalam bidang usaha perangkat telekomunikasi, bahan bangunan, model conveience store dan minimarket lebih berpotensi mengalami financial distress. Hasil analisis korelasi pearson menunjukan terdapat korelasi negatif yang lemah antara DSCR sebagai proxy financial distress dengan deterioration performance dan cash flow problem. Variabel rasio keuangan seperti current ratio dan return on equity berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap DSCR, sedangkan debt to equity ratio memiliki pengaruh negatif dan signifkan terhadap DSCR. Sementara itu, variabel makroekonomi yang signifikan adalah gross domestic product dan interest rate. Gross domestic product berpengaruh positif terhadap DSCR sedangkan interest rate memiliki pengaruh negatif terhadap DSCR. Abstract

Penelitian ini didasarkan adanya turn over karyawan di PT XYZ yang diduga dipengaruhi oleh kepuasan kerja karyawan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor pengaruh yaitu lingkungan kerja (X1) dan hubungan pekerjaan (X2) terhadap kepuasan kerja karyawan (Y) menggunakan metode analisis regresi linear berganda. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan lingkungan kerja berpengaruh secara positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja karyawan secara parsial dan hubungan kerja tidak berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja karyawan secara parsial.

Abstract

Length of work is one of the assessments or determinants that can show that the company has engaged employees. PT Sinkona Indonesia Lestari (PT SIL) has employees who have worked for more than 16 years as much as 62,25 percent, this shows that many employees at PT SIL feel engaged with the company. Based on this background, this research was conducted at PT SIL which aimed to find out and analyze what factors influence employee engagement on performance or employee performance at PT SIL. The sample for this study includes 100 of his employees with a stratified random sample. The variables used to describe employee engagement factors are leadership, compensation, and organizational culture. Other potential variables are employee engagement and employee performance. Organizational culture (organizational culture) has been shown to have a significant positive impact on both employee engagement and employee performance (employee performance).

Abstract

The study is aimed at trend analysis, adoption, and effects of remote work, flexible schedules, and a four-day work week on performance and employee well-being; it engages in a systematic literature review methodology for data collection on several industries concerning the pros and cons of different flexible employment paradigigms. Remote working has been embraced best in knowledge-intensive industries, where it increases productivity significantly but at the same time enhances the risk of feeling isolated, and flexitime gives a good work-life balance but needs clear demarcations in the use of this flexibility to prevent over-commitment. Though the four-day work week is hardly ever adopted, experimentation has demonstrated its potential for increasing happiness and well-being in workplaces without compromising productivity. Appropriating hybrid models, deploying outcome-based performance measurement, and making training available are recommendations organizations could take on to make the most of flexible working arrangements. Hence, the study argues for personalized approaches to flexibility regarding the work at hand and the demands of the organization to ensure optimum performance and employee satisfaction

Abstract

Bogor Regency is among the top three regions with the highest unemployment rate in West Java Province after Bogor City and Cimahi City (Open Unemployment Rate / TPT data released by BPS West Java Province as of August 2022). Therefore, efforts are needed to reduce the unemployment rate. The importance of job preparation for trainees requires an appropriate approach in the recruitment and selection process to ensure the suitability of participants with the programs offered. The purpose of implementing this community service is to increase participants' knowledge and skills in making job application letters and ATS CVs, improve skills in taking psychological tests and interview techniques, improve skills in building leaderless group discussions and equip soft skills to support job preparation. The method of implementation is through training which includes lecture, simulation, discussion and practice methods so that participants really understand and are able to apply well. The participants of the community service program consisted of 41 participants from the Bogor Regency Job Training Center (BLK). The results obtained from community service activities are an increase in the participants' understanding and skills in making CVs, application letters, taking psychological tests, conducting interviews, FGDs and soft skills. This is reinforced by the positive response and satisfaction level of the participants as well as the increase in post test scores. Keywords: Recruitment, Training, Skills, Job Selection

Abstract

Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk membekali peserta dengan soft skill penunjang persiapan kerja, meningkatkan pengetahuan dan ketrampilan peserta dalam membuat curriculum vitae berbasis ATS dan surat lamaran kerja serta meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan peserta dalam mengerjakan psikotest dan menjawab wawancara kerja. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan dalam bentuk pelatihan yang meliputi pelatihan yang dipimpin instruktur (Instructor-Led Training) dan pelatihan interaktif melalui simulasi, game, dan diskusi sehingga peserta benar-benar memahami dan mampu menerapkan dengan baik. Program ini diikuti sebanyak 25 peserta dari Badan Komunikasi Pemuda Remaja Masjid Indonesia (BKPRMI) Kab. Cianjur. Kegiatan ini telah memberikan peningkatan pemahaman dan keterampilan para peserta dalam membuat CV ATS, surat lamaran kerja, mengerjakan psikotes, melakukan wawancara kerja, dan kemampuan softskill. Dan tentunya membantu para pemuda di Cianjur agar lebih mudah dalam mencari pekerjaan, dengan memberikan mereka bekal keterampilan dan pengetahuan yang relevan untuk menghadapi tantangan dunia kerja. Melihat respon positif dan kepuasan peserta dalam mengikuti kegiatan, maka diharapkan ke depan ada keberlanjutan dari program pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini.

Abstract

Internships prepare students to enter the industry, business world, and world of work (IDUKA). Internships encourage improved job prospects, higher wages, and reduced skill mismatches. The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of internship quality on students' career adaptability and students' job search success also to formulate strategic recommendations for improving the quality of apprenticeship programs. The population of this study is all alumni of Politeknik Ketenagakerjaan, Politeknik APP Jakarta and Politeknik STMI Jakarta who are recorded as already working. A total of 99 respondents were selected by purposive sampling then analyzed using SEM-PLS and the Analytic Hierarchical Process (AHP). The results of the study found that there is a positive and significant influence between internship quality on career adaptability, career adaptability on job search success, internship quality on job search success and internship quality on job search success through career adaptability. The most important alternative strategy for improving internship quality is setting up an internship mentoring program. Universities and companies must develop an internship curriculum for each internship position before setting up an internship mentoring programme.

Abstract

Mahasiswa generasi pertama didefinisikan sebagai mahasiswa yang orang tuanya tidak kuliah atau tidak pernah meraih gelar sarjana. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menganalisis pengaruh persepsi hambatan karier dan kemampuan beradaptasi karier terhadap keputusan karier mahasiswa generasi pertama. Responden dari penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa generasi pertama angkatan 2020, 2021 dan 2022 Politeknik Ketenagakerjaan dan Politeknik APP Jakarta. Sebanyak 99 responden terkumpul dengan metode purposive sampling dan dianalisis dengan menggunakan SEM-PLS. Hasil dari penelitian diperoleh bahwa persepsi hambatan karier memiliki pengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap keputusan karier mahasiswa. Kemampuan beradaptasi karier mahasiswa sangat menentukan dalam membuat keputusan kariernya dan kemampuan beradaptasi karier berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap persepsi hambatan karier. Penyelenggara perguruan tinggi memiliki peran krusial dalam meningkatkan kemampuan beradaptasi karier khususnya pada mahasiswa generasi pertama di antaranya : mengembangkan kurikulum yang relevan dan kolaborasi dengan industri, menyediakan layanan bimbingan karier dan konseling, mengoptimalkan praktik kerja dan magang, mendorong pelatihan keterampilan soft skill dan menginisiasi program pengembangan kewirausahaan.

Abstract

The success of a university can be seen from students’ satisfaction with the services provided. Students’ satisfaction is also the key to students’ loyalty to university. This research aims to measure the level of students’ satisfaction on the service quality of Politeknik Ketenagakerjaan (Polteknaker), to identify service quality attributes that need to be improved and maintained at the Polteknaker, to analyze the effect of Polteknaker service quality on student satisfaction, and to analyze the effect of satisfaction on the loyalty of Polteknaker students. There are 100 students of Polteknaker were involved in this research. The data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using the Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI), Importance Performance Analysis (IPA), and Structural Equational Modeling-Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS). Based on the student satisfaction index (CSI) result, the quality of Polteknaker services as a whole is 64.39% which shows students feel quite satisfied with the provided services. The results of the IPA shows that the most important indicators that should be improved are reliability, responsiveness, and assurance. Based on the results of SEM-PLS, the responsiveness and empathy have a positive and significant impact on students’ satisfaction, consequently resulting in students’ loyalty.
