Abstract

Stunting is a condition of failure to grow in children under five years old as a result of chronic malnutrition so that the child is too short for his age. Malnutrition occurs from the time the baby is in the womb and in the early days after the baby is born. Stunting in toddlers needs special attention because it can hinder children's physical and mental development. Activities. This community service aims to increase the knowledge, awareness and concern of the people of Cibeureum village about stunting. Method The method in this activity is service learning. The technique of this activity is to start with the distribution of pre-test questionnaires and continue with the provision of materials related to stunting. Furthermore, as an evaluation, a post-test is given. There is an increase in public knowledge about the results of this community service activity show an increase in the knowledge of activity participants about stunting and stunting prevention.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to provide sexual education and prevent early marriage to teenagers using a holistic psychological counseling and parenting approach, from a legal, social, and midwifery perspective. The method of implementing this service used counseling and mentoring on sexual and reproductive health education using a question-and-answer design. The targets of this activity were teenagers from Batu Mekar Village, West Lombok Regency who were still of school age using a questionnaire instrument which was then statistically analyzed using the t test. The results of this service showed that teenagers were aware of the impact of early marriage and understood anemia, and sexual reproductive health about the incidence of early marriage and stunting. By implementing this community service program, a youth posyandu/youth class was successfully established at the Bumi Sehat Clinic. This is useful in providing a forum for teenagers to discuss and consult regarding sexual, physical, and mental reproductive health issues as well as positive activities to prevent early marriage.

Abstract

Stunting masih menjadi permasalahan kesehatan masyarakat di Indonesia yang berimplikasi pada kualitas generasi mendatang. Salah satu faktor penyebabnya adalah anemia pada remaja putri yang dapat berlanjut hingga masa kehamilan. Program pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan meningkatkan pengetahuan gizi remaja serta kepatuhan konsumsi tablet tambah darah (TTD) sebagai upaya pencegahan stunting. Kegiatan dilaksanakan di Desa Mandala Haji pada 162 remaja melalui diskusi interaktif, games, diskusi kelompok, pembagian leaflet, dan pendampingan konsumsi TTD. Hasil pengukuran keberhasilan kegiatan diukur dengan kuesioner pre test dan post test yang kemudian dianalisis dengan uji t yang menunjukkan peningkatan pengetahuan gizi sebesar 45% dan kepatuhan konsumsi TTD sebesar 75%. Program ini efektif meningkatkan kesadaran gizi remaja dan mendukung upaya pencegahan stunting berbasis teman sebaya. Upaya ini memberikan gambaran bahwa kader remaja efektif dalam promosi kesehatan pada remaja. Stunting Prevention Strategy through Nutrition Education and Iron Supplementation for Adolescents Mandala Haji Village Abstract Stunting remains a public health problem in Indonesia, impacting the quality of future generations. One contributing factor is anemia in adolescent girls, which can persist into pregnancy. This community service program aims to improve adolescent nutritional knowledge and adherence to iron supplementation (IBT) consumption as a stunting prevention measure. The program was conducted in Mandala Haji Village with 162 adolescents through interactive discussions, games, group discussions, leaflet distribution, and iron supplementation support. The success of the program was measured using pre- and post-test questionnaires, which were then analyzed using a t-test, showing a 45% increase in nutritional knowledge and a 75% increase in iron supplementation compliance. This program effectively increases adolescent nutritional awareness and supports peer-based stunting prevention efforts. These efforts demonstrate the effectiveness of youth cadres in promoting health among adolescents

Abstract

Abstrak Masa kehamilan merupakan masa terjadinya perubahan fisik, fisiologis dan psikologis yang signifikan pada wanita. Beberapa keluhan umum selama kehamilan meliputi mual dan muntah (morning sickness), kelelahan, nyeri punggung, pembengkakan kaki, sakit kepala, perubahan suasana hati, kesulitan tidur, dan sembelit. Dalam kesehariannya, ibu hamil lebih memilih mengatasi keluhan-keluhan ringan tersebut dengan terapi holistik komplementer karena dinilai lebih efektif dan minim efek samping. Dalam mengoptimalkan pelayanan sinergis kebidanan, Klinik Bumi Sehat Lombok telah menerapkan pelayanan holistik komplementer untuk mendukung persalinan humanis. Tim pelaksana bekerja sama dengan tim Klinik Bumi Sehat dalam kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pelatihan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan mitra dari kalangan ibu hamil, kader dan bidan di sekitar lingkungan klinik sekaligus memberikan pengkayaan materi kelas ibu dan perawatan holistik komplementer pada ibu hamil secara mandiri untuk mengurangi keluhan-keluhan saat masa kehamilan. Metode pengabdian yaitu dengan penyuluhan dan pelatihan praktek pembuatan dan contoh pengaplikasian ke ibu hamil. Tahap pelaksanaan kegiatan meliputi: 1. survei lapangan; 2. perizinan; 3. pengenalan konsep kegiatan kepada mitra; 4. praktek lapangan; 5. diskusi & interaksi aktif, 6. promosi keselamatan, 7. evaluasi. Setelah melakuan edukasi dan praktek pengolahan dan terapi herbal pada ibu hamil dan dilakukan evaluasi mengenai ketidaknyamanan yang dialami oleh ibu, diketahui ibu hamil sudah bisa mengurangi ketidaknyaman yang dialami. Terjadi peningkatan pengetahuan tentang terapi komplementer tersebut yang awalnya umumnya pada kategori kurang (80.94%) menjadi kategori baik (100%). Kata kunci: hamil, herbal; kelas ibu hamil; pengabdian masyarakat; sasak. Abstract Pregnancy is a time of significant physical, physiological and psychological changes in women. Some common complaints during pregnancy include nausea and vomiting (morning sickness), fatigue, back pain, leg swelling, headaches, mood swings, difficulty sleeping, and constipation. In their daily lives, pregnant women prefer to treat these minor complaints with complementary holistic therapy because it is considered more effective and has minimal side effects. In optimizing synergistic midwifery services, Bumi Sehat Lombok Clinic has implemented complementary holistic services to support humanistic childbirth. The implementing team collaborates with the Bumi Sehat Clinic team in this activity which aims to provide training to increase the knowledge of partners from pregnant women, cadres and midwives around the clinic environment while providing enrichment material for maternal classes and complementary holistic care to pregnant women independently to reduce complaints. -complaints during pregnancy. The service method is through counseling and training on manufacturing practices and examples of application to pregnant women. The activity implementation stage includes: 1. field survey; 2. licensing; 3. introduction of the activity concept to partners; 4. field practice; 5. active discussion & interaction, 6. safety promotion, 7. evaluation. After conducting education and practicing herbal processing and therapy for pregnant women and evaluating the discomfort experienced by the mother, it is known that pregnant women can reduce the discomfort they experience. There was an increase in knowledge regarding complementary therapies, which initially were generally in the poor category (80.94%) to the good category (100%). Key words: pregnancy; herbal; pregnant women's class; community service; sasak.

Abstract

In West Nusa Tenggara Province, the leading cause of maternal death was bleeding, with 27 cases. Perineal rupture or laceration is an obstetric tear that occurs in the perineal area, caused by the inability of the pelvic muscles and soft tissue to accommodate the birth of the baby. Prenatal gentle yoga can help in many ways, one of which is preventing long-term damage to the body and helping the birthing process. The aim of this study was to prove the effect of prenatal gentle yoga in third trimester pregnant women on the incidence of perineal rupture during normal delivery. Another study conducted to identify perineal rupture during childbirth showed that the group who did yoga during pregnancy did not experience perineal rupture. The research method that will be used is One Shot Case Study. The product that will be produced from this research is a Prenatal Gentle Yoga Module which contains prenatal gentle yoga movements for pregnant women in the third trimester to prevent perineal rupture during normal childbirth. 1 as many as 5 people (16.66%) and experienced 2nd degree perineal rupture as many as 2 people (6.66%) while respondents who did yoga 4 times during the third trimester of pregnancy did not experience perineal rupture as many as 18 people (60%) and experienced There were 5 people (16.66%) with grade 1 perineal rupture, but there were no respondents who experienced grade 2 perineal rupture. It can be concluded that there is a significant influence between prenatal gentle yoga and the incidence of perineal rupture in normal delivery with a p value of 0.000.
