Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the form and structure of the Ponorogo Reog dance performance. The method used in this research is a descriptive qualitative method, with data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation. The result of theanalysis of research data on Ponorogo is a dance that grows and develops in the village of Tri Mulya Agung this dance is usually danced by seven people. Reog Ponorogo dance is usually performed at weddings, circumcisions, etc, this dance uses the dadak peacock property made of bamboo and rattan, and artificial horses made of woven bamboo, while the costumes use clothes, udengan, cute, sempyok, katok panji, stagen, sampur, jarik binggel sikel, and boroboro. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine how the vocal learning process using the demonstration method. In this study, the researcher used a qualitative descriptive approach. The object to be studied is the process of learning art and culture which is in terms of vocal learning with the demonstration method at SMA Negeri 2 Toboali. Teachers and students at SMA Negeri 2 Toboali who will be informants for this research. Data collection techniques are observation, interviews, documentation. Based on the results of the analysis of research data and the discussion contained in the previous chapter about vocal learning with the demonstration method in class X at SMA N 2 Toboali, South Bangka Regency. It can be concluded that vocal learning with the demonstration method in learning arts and culture is very helpful, especially vocal learning in class X SMA N 2 Toboali, because students more easily understand the material presented by the teacher so that learning takes place more efficiently. Based on the results of research data analysis and discussion contained in the previous chapter on vocal learning with the demonstration method in class X at SMA N 2 Toboali, South Bangka Regency. It can be concluded that vocal learning with the demonstration method in learning arts and culture is very helpful, especially vocal learning in class X SMA N 2 Toboali, because students understand the material presented by the teacher more easily so that learning takes place more efficiently.

Abstract

This International Community Service program aims to implement strategic cross-cultural partnerships within the framework of community empowerment through education, with a focus on strengthening community capacity in Thailand. The activity was carried out by a team of lecturers and students from Universitas PGRI Palembang in collaboration with LSM SHARING at Lukmanulhakeem School, Yala, Thailand in May 2024. The implementation method used a hybrid approach (online and offline) encompassing training, workshops, interactive discussions, and academic visits. The service materials covered eight main themes: harmonization of Indonesian-Thai education policies, cultural integration, healthy food product development, economic and entrepreneurial skills, automotive engineering skills, fishery product processing, creativity development through arts and culture, and joyful learning innovation. The results showed that this international community service program successfully established effective strategic partnerships between Indonesian universities and partners in Thailand, enhanced participant capacity through the transfer of knowledge and applicable skills and strengthened cross-country academic cooperation networks. Active participation of students from various faculties enriched cross-cultural learning experiences. This activity makes a real contribution to realizing the Three Pillars of Higher Education, particularly in the aspect of international-scale community service oriented towards sustainable development and equitable welfare.
