Abstract

This study aims to analyze the differences in psychological responses between victims and perpetrators of sexual violence using Carl Gustav Jung's analytical psychology theory approach. The research method used is the word association method, this study explores aspects of personality, such as Persona, Shadow, Archetype, and Complex, to identify the psychological dynamics that influence the behavior and perception of these two groups. The results showed that victims tend to display a stable Persona, supported by elements of family and nature archetypes as a mechanism for healing and emotional recovery. Meanwhile, perpetrators show the use of a manipulative Persona to control the surrounding environment and tend to dominate, which is reinforced by the hero and superiority archetypes. The victim's Shadow mostly contains anxiety and fear related to trauma, while the perpetrator's Shadow is more filled with aggressive traits and lack of empathy. The complexes that appear in victims are related to inferiority and social support, while perpetrators show a superiority complex that emphasizes dominance and manipulation. These fundamental differences provide insight into how victims and perpetrators respond to their life experiences and how psychotherapy approaches can be tailored based on their respective needs. This study offers a new perspective in understanding the psychological dynamics of victims and perpetrators of sexual violence and has the potential to contribute to more effective therapeutic interventions.

Abstract

AbstractAnatomy is the basic foundation of medical sciences so it is important to study anatomy to support clinical practice in the future, both in the examination and diagnosis of patients, as well as in communication between fellow health professionals. Anatomy can be studied with two-dimensional modalities and mainly with three-dimensional modalities. Cadaver became a three-dimensional modality that has been used for centuries. Cadavers can present a good and deep spatial understanding of the structure of the human body, as well as provide tactile sensations that other learning modalities cannot get. With the increase in medical education institutions and problems related to health, religion, ethics, medicolegal, time, and cost, cadavers are increasingly rare to obtain. This requires students to increase their understanding of other modalities that are mostly two dimensions. The two-dimensional modalities also have a weakness that can only be obtained from the two-dimensional modalities so other two-dimensional modalities besides cadavers are still needed. Virtual Reality is here to be an effective alternative complementary modality in helping understanding in studying anatomy. This article is compiled by searching digital literature on the online database available in the form of research articles and literature reviews. A literature search resulted in a series of discussions on anatomical learning, the role of cadavers in anatomical learning, and virtual reality as an alternative to three-dimensional modalities. The conclusion of this article is that virtual reality with its advantages and disadvantages can be a complement to the learning of anatomy, although it cannot replace the role of cadavers completely. AbstractAnatomy is the basic foundation of medical sciences so it is important to study anatomy to support clinical practice in the future, both in the examination and diagnosis of patients, as well as in communication between fellow health professionals. Abstract

Sexual violence in Indonesia has increased significantly, both in terms of quantity and quality. Through a report from the Ministry of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection (KemenPPPA), more than 9,600 cases of violence against children were recorded in the period from January to May 2023. This increasing trend is largely due to the increasing courage of victims to report the incident. The main focus of this case is sexual violence, which includes rape, molestation, and sexual exploitation. West Nusa Tenggara (NTB), as an example, recorded 188 cases of sexual violence against children in 2021-2022, with types of incidents including rape and molestation. Involving various impacts, sexual violence damages the physical, emotional, and psychological aspects of the victim. Serious handling and in-depth understanding from various sectors are key to overcoming this problem. The involvement of Posyandu as a public health institution is a proactive solution to provide support and assistance to victims of sexual violence. Through training of Posyandu cadres in Banjar Village, Ampenan District, it is hoped that a responsive support network can be formed to address the issue of sexual violence at the community level. Collaboration with health, child protection, and mental health institutions is an integrated step that supports victim recovery. This service contributes to the understanding of the importance of the role of Posyandu in dealing with sexual violence and details the impacts and concrete solutions to improve prevention and recovery. The conclusions of this study provide a deeper understanding of the complexity of the issue of sexual violence and provide a basis for policy recommendations to improve the community approach in addressing this problem.

Abstract

The Aljamiado, Xiaojing, and Jawi scripts are a manifestation of the acculturation of Arabic Islamic culture with the culture of various community groups spread across various parts of the world.  Acculturation is created through social interactions involving the carriers and disseminators of Islam.  The script adopted from Arabic grew along with the development of Islamic civilization, and weakened as Islamic civilization declined.  There have not been many studies on historical analysis and social construction by making comparisons between languages ??that adopt the Arabic script.  Most studies only focus on one character through various approaches.  This article aims to discuss the degradation of Arabic script absorption in Chinese, Spanish and Malay and reveal the essence behind its connection to the weakening influence of Islam.  This research uses a qualitative approach with the library research method.  Primary data sources include books and journals of previous research and other relevant sources.  The results of this research show that the degradation of the absorption of Arabic script in the form of Aljamiado, Xiaojing, and Jawi is directly proportional to the weakening of Islamic influence.  Meanwhile, its emergence was initiated by immigrant Muslims, driven by different conditions.  Aljamiado and Xiaojing were born as a result of weakening Islamic hegemony, while Jawi was born because Islamic influence was getting stronger

Abstract

The transformation of twenty-first-century medical education demands the systematic integration of clinical competence, moral integrity, and social sensitivity; however, the implementation of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) in many universities remains predominantly normative–doctrinal and insufficiently aligned with the professional needs of medical students. This study aims to develop an interdisciplinary model of PAI teaching materials with a focus on religious moderation, based on a comprehensive needs analysis in medical education. Adopting a research and development (R&D) approach, the study was conducted in the Medical Education Program, Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, University of Mataram. The needs analysis was implemented in multiple stages through document review of existing teaching materials, classroom observations, interviews with policymakers and lecturers, and questionnaires administered to 32 students. Qualitative data were analyzed thematically, while quantitative data were processed using descriptive statistics. The findings reveal structural and substantive gaps in the previous teaching materials, particularly in professional relevance, integration of religious moderation values, and alignment between learning outcomes and learning strategies. Students also indicated a need for reinforcement at the levels of conceptual understanding, practical application, and value internalization in the affective domain. In response, a teaching material model was developed by reformulating learning outcomes into eight core competencies and systematically integrating nine religious moderation values in each chapter. The content is contextualized with contemporary medical issues such as assisted reproductive technology, vaccination, and emerging and reemerging infectious diseases, and is supported by active learning strategies based on small group discussions and reflective projects. Validation results show that the developed model is perceived as more systematic, contextual, and professionally relevant for medical students. This research contributes to strengthening value integration frameworks in professional education by demonstrating that religious moderation can be operationalized through teaching material design grounded in constructive alignment and interdisciplinary approaches. The model has the potential to be replicated in other health study programs within pluralistic societies to foster competent, reflective, and inclusive health professionals.

Abstract

Islam regulates all aspects of human life, including the order of life on earth in order to lead to happiness in the world and the hereafter. One of the supports for this happiness is having a healthy body, making it possible for us to worship better to God. Islam strongly emphasizes health, physically and mentally and it is the second pleasure after the Faith. Health is a human right and something that is in accordance with human nature, so all the paths that can lead to health are worth taking, as long as it does not conflict with Islamic teachings. This paper aims to show how Allah SWT has given a middle way between an obligation and a need, in order to achieve harmony between something that he forbids and then permits through clarification of science. To make it easier, in this paper I raise one of the latest health topics which is a debate over the pros and cons, namely the use of the Measles Rubella (MR) vaccine because it contains an unclean / haram element. The research method that I used was qualitative research with literature technique as one of the forms of approach to religious research, while the book I studied was the Holy Qur'an al-Baqarah verse 173, the Technical Manual and Vaccine Campaign of the MR Directorate General of P2P Ministry of Health RI, 2017 and MUI Fatwa Number: 33 of 2018 Concerning the Use of Mr (Measles Rubella) Vaccine Products From SII (Serum Institute Of India) For Immunization.

Abstract

Spiritual education in Indonesia, including in Lombok, occurs not only within formal settings such as schools but also becomes internalised within local cultural traditions. One such tradition is Bejeleng within the Sasak Muslim community in Lombok. Bejeleng is a sacred tradition of coconut oil production imbued with spiritual, social, and moral values, which have been passed down through generations. This study adopts a descriptive ethnographic method over a period of two years (2023–2024) with a participatory observation approach, in-depth interviews with 10 key informants consisting of religious leaders, organisers of the tradition’s events, and participants, as well as visual and audio documentation at Pondok Pesantren Thohir Yasin, East Lombok. The research identifies seven main dimensions of spiritual education: worship and purity within ritual processes, reinforcement of collective belief, cross-generational involvement in spiritual activities, the social and medical function of oil as a medium of learning, discipline and perseverance in ritual practice, belief in spiritual power, and the transmission of spiritual values across generations. These seven dimensions form three conceptual pillars of spiritual education: religious transcendence, collective socialisation, and the transfer of knowledge and character. The Bejeleng tradition serves as an effective social learning space for internalising spiritual values and organically building community solidarity. This finding enriches the understanding of non-formal Islamic education rooted in local culture by emphasising social interaction and collective practice as the primary media for spiritual learning. The study also suggests the development of an adaptive, inclusive Islamic education model that is rooted in local socio-cultural contexts. The limitations of this research include its focus on a local community and context-specific qualitative data; therefore, further studies with a comparative approach and quantitative methods are recommended to expand the validity of the findings and geographical coverage.

Abstract

Genetically modified food (GMO food) or in English genetically modified food which in Indonesian is popular as genetically modified food (GM food), is a biologically engineered food produced from organisms that have undergone changes that are inserted into their DNA using the method genetical manipulation. GE food is unavoidable, due to the narrowing of land and the increasingly dense population of people. Currently Worldometers notes that the world's population in 2019 reached 7.7 billion people, where the world food and agriculture organization (FAO) stated that the world must increase food production by 70% by 2050 to meet the food needs of the world community which is estimated to number 9 .1 billion at the time, meaning that fertile and very large land would be needed for agriculture to achieve this. So that GE foods, which have been initiated since 1994, must continue to be developed. This paper will focus on discussions related to legal products in the country, health and the view of Islamic law as the majority religion in Indonesia.
