Abstract

The development of the Trados application for tourists visiting the Bira Beach area in Bulukumba Regency aims to streamline the booking process for accommodations, food, and transportation services through an Android-based mobile platform. This research follows a Research and Development (R&D) methodology and utilizes the Waterfall model for systematic application development, encompassing stages such as requirement analysis, design, coding, testing, and maintenance. The study involved interviews and questionnaires with tourists and local service providers to gather data on user needs and preferences. The application was developed using Java programming in Visual Studio Code and tested for functionality, usability, performance efficiency, and portability. Results showed the app meets ISO 25010 standards, with excellent usability (90%), satisfactory performance efficiency, and portability across different Android devices. Despite its success, the study acknowledges limitations such as the small sample size and the lack of real-time booking updates or third-party service integrations. Future research should focus on enhancing the app's functionality and expanding its user base to improve service delivery and user experience in tourism-related applications.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to develop an Android-based Village information system in Loka Village, Jeneponto Regency and to determine the results of testing the Android-based Village information system in Loka Village, Jeneponto Regency based on the ISO 25010 software standard. This study uses the Research and Development (R&D) type of research and the waterfall development model. Data collection techniques using interviews, documentation and questionnaires. This system was tested using ISO 25010 software quality standards that focus on four aspects, namely functional suitability, portability, usability, and performance efficiency. Functional suitability testing was carried out by two expert lecturers by filling out a questionnaire containing 13 questions regarding the functions designed in the system being developed, it was found thatthis application was feasible to use and worthy of being accepted. Portability testing was carried out by observing the output results produced using Android smartphones in various versions, the results obtained showed that this village information system application ran well on several versions of Android. The results of the usability aspect test used a questionnaire given to 13 respondents with 15 questions and obtained a percentage value of 90.12% with a very feasible category. Performance efficiency testing was carried out using APPTIM by measuring real-time data for the CPU used, which was 137%, 233 Mb memory when the application was used. The results of the study show that the Android-based village information system application developed in Loka Village, Jeneponto Regency, has met the characteristics of ISO 25010 quality standards. This application canbe used by village officials and the Loka Village community to support the management of village information and services more efficiently andeffectively.

Abstract

This study aims to develop and evaluate an Arduino-based automatic ablution faucet designed to reduce water consumption through proximity sensing and real-time water-flow monitoring. Using an engineering research approach with a prototype development model, the system was constructed using an Arduino Uno microcontroller, a proximity sensor, and a water-flow sensor, followed by direct testing and usability evaluation involving 30 respondents. Functionality assessment was conducted by experts using the ISO 25010 framework, while usability testing employed a Likert-scale questionnaire. The results show that the automatic faucet successfully regulated water flow based on user presence and displayed real-time water usage on an LCD. Comparative testing between manual and automatic faucets demonstrated a 44.03% reduction in water consumption, with the prototype achieving 100% functionality and an 87.8% usability score, indicating that the system is operationally reliable, accurate, and user-friendly. Sensor calibration produced an average error rate of 1.2%, which falls within acceptable tolerance limits. The novelty of this research lies in its integration of dual-sensor technology, quantitative water-efficiency measurement, and ISO 25010-based quality evaluation within a single prototype framework an approach not commonly adopted in previous studies on ablution automation. The incorporation of real-time water monitoring also enhances the system’s practicality and contributes to technological advancements in water conservation and electrical engineering applications.
