Abstract

Abstrak. Tujuan Program Kemitraan Masyarakat (PKM) ini adalah untuk : (1). meningkatkan keterampilan Guru dan Siswa SMK Somba Opu Gowa tentang pembuatan Software Alat Penghemat Listrik Pada Bangunan/Gedung Berbasis IoT yang berfungsi untuk mengendalikan secara otomatis perangkat listrik yang terpasang Gedung/Sekolah dengan kendali Smartphone, (2). meningkatkan pengetahuan  Siswa SMK Somba Opu Gowa  tentang pembuatan  dan pemanfaatan  perangkat keras Alat Penghemat listrik Pada Bangunan Berbasis Internet Of Things, (3).meningkatkan pengetahuan  Siswa SMK Somba Opu Gowa tentang pembuatan interface dan aplikasi Alat Penghemat  Energi Pada Gedung Berbasis IoT, (4).menciptakan lahirnya technopreneurship yang kreatif sehingga bisa membuat Alat Penghemat listrik Pada Bangunan/Gedung Berbasis IoT yang dapat dipasarkan guna terciptanya masyarakat IT.Khalayak sasaran adalah kelompok Siswa SMK Somba Opu Gowa   (khalayak sasaran yang dilatih langsung). Metode yang digunakan dalam pemberian materi adalah metode ceramah, diskusi dan tanya jawab, sedangkan pada penerapan dilakukan metode demonstrasi.Hasil Program Kemitraan Masyarakat (PKM) ini menggambarkan bahwa kelompok  Siswa SMK Somba Opu Gowa (mitra), telah : (1) Memiliki pengetahuan  yang meningkat dalam  pembuatan  Software Alat Penghemat Listrik Pada Bangunan/Gedung Berbasis IoT   yang berfungsi untuk mengendalikan secara otomatis perangkat listrik yang terpasang pada Bangunan/Gedung/Sekolah Mitra, (2) meningkat pengetahuannya tentang pembuatan  dan pemanfaatan  perangkat keras Alat Penghemat Listrik Pada Bangunan/Gedung Berbasis IoT, (3) meningkat pengetahuannya  tentang pembuatan interface dan aplikasi Alat Penghemat Listrik Pada Bangunan/Gedung Berbasis IoT, (4). Mampu menciptakan lahirnya technopreneurship yang kreatif sehingga bisa membuat Alat Penghemat Listrik Pada Bangunan/Gedung Berbasis IoT sehingga tercipta masyarakat IT ditempat Mitra. Kata kunci : Alat penghemat energi, smartphone,   perangkat listrik,  IoT,  technopreneurship.

Abstract

Abstrak – Salah satu upaya yang dapat dilakukan untuk mendekatkan teknologi PID kepada siswa dan guru adalah dengan mengadakan pelatihan kepada mereka. Tujuannya adalah agar guru mampu meneruskan pengetahuan dan keterampilannya kepada siswa yang diajarkan di kelas dalam bentuk pembuatan project. Melalui kegiatan PkM ini, kami berinisiatif untuk membantu guru dan siswa SMAN 1 Pamboang kabupaten Majene dengan cara memberikan pelatihan pemrograman berbasis mikrokontroller. Upaya tersebut dilakukan sebagai bagian atau tindak lanjut dari hasil penelitian kami sebelumnya yaitu berupa alat system kendali pemanas air secara otomatis berbasis mikrokontroller. Kegiatan PKM ini dilaksanakan di SMAN 1 Pamboang Kabupaten Majene Sulawesi Barat dan berlangsung selama 2 hari di lokasi secara paralel bersamaan dengan sejumlah tim PkM lainnya. Kegiatan PkM ini dapat berjalan dengan lancar dengan antusias peserta semakin meningkat berdasarkan banyaknya pertanyaan dan tentang materi yang diberikan. Program PkM ini telah menambah pengetahuan dan keterampilan peserta dalam ujicoba pengendalian suhu dan kelembaban menggunakan kendali PID. Peserta memiliki pemahaman yang lebih baik tentang penggunaan kendali PID dalam mengatur suhu pada heater dan memiliki dasar pemrograman yang kuat.Kata kunci: Pemrograman, Mikrokontroller, PID.

Abstract

This research aims to develop a seaweed dryer using an Arduino Uno equipped with an Oled LCD and to help farmers dry seaweed during the rainy season so that the seaweed is not damaged.This research method uses research and development (R&D) with a prototype development model. The data collection technique used was a questionnaire. The subjects in this research were seaweed farmers in Palajau Village, Arungkeke District, Jeneponto Regency. This research produces a seaweed dryer using an Arduino Uno equipped with an Oled LCD. The result of this research is a prototype seaweed dryer that uses a temperature sensor to detect temperature and humidity, a heater to dry seaweed, a fan to distribute heat in the drying room and an Oled LCD to display temperature and humidity. In terms of Functionality and Usability, the results of the functionality feasibility percentage were 100% and as many as 10 respondents or 100% assessed that the tool developed based on the Usability context was at 100% in the very good category. Based on the results of testing seaweed using this dryer, the drying time for seaweed is 4-5 hours until the seaweed is dry with a capacity of 4 Kg for drying seaweed once.

Abstract

Penelitian ini adalan penelitian asosiatif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui kecerdasan emosional, motivasi belajar mahasiswa dan untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya pengaruh kecerdasan emosional terhadap motivasi belajar mahasiswa Jurusan Teknik Informatika dan Komputer FT UNM dalam menjalani Belajar Dari Rumah (BDR) di masa pandemi. Populasi penelitian ini yaitu mahasiswa PTIK dan TEKOM angkatan 2020 dengan total 373 mahasiswa. Berdasarkan teknik pengambilan sampel Proportionate Stratified Random Sampling dengan menggunakan rumus slovin diperoleh jumlah sampel yaitu 193 mahasiswa. Data hasil penelitian diperoleh dengan memberikan kuesioner kecerdasan emosional dan motivasi belajar menggunakan google form. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah regresi linear sederhana dengan model regresi Y= 27.936 + 0.922X. Kecerdasan emosional mahasiswa Jurusan Teknik Informatika dan Komputer FT UNM cukup baik dalam menjalani belajar dari rumah di masa pandemi, hal tersebut berdasarkan nilai persentase tertinggi dari hasil analisis deskriptif. Motivasi belajar mahasiswa Jurusan Teknik Informatika dan Komputer FT UNM cukup baik juga dalam menjalani belajar dari rumah di masa pandemi, hal tersebut berdasarkan nilai persentase tertinggi dari hasil analisis deskriptif. Berdasarkan hasil uji hipotesis telah diperoleh hasil yakni terdapat pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan antara pengaruh kecerdasan emosional terhadap motivasi belajar mahasiswa Jurusan Teknik Informatika dan Komputer dalam menjalani belajar dari rumah di masa pandemi.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to help teachers in Somba Opu District, Gowa Regency as Partners in the Community Partnership Program (PKM). This assistance is in the form of: (1) improving student learning outcomes in several subjects which are still low, (2) developing teachers' knowledge about learning methods which are still limited. Teachers can choose various active, creative, effective and fun learning methods that suit the learning material, making it more interesting, more challenging and more fun. The methods used are: lecture, discovery learning, gallery walk, question and answer, with partners and carried out offline at Hasanuddin High School, Somba Opu District, Gowa Regency. The results achieved are (1) partners have developed their knowledge about various active, creative, effective and fun learning methods, (2) partners can carry out learning using various learning methods, (3) partners have the skills to design learning, (4) partners have the skills to carry out active, creative, effective and fun learning.

Abstract

Penggunaan listrik yang tidak benar akibat pengontrolan yang menyimpang dari standar PUIL 2011, dapat menimbulkan kerugian yang besar bagi konsumen listrik. Tujuan yang ingin dicapai pada Penelitian ini adalah untuk : (1) menghasilkan perangkat lunak Alat Penghemat listrik pada Kantor berbasis IoT, (2) menghasilkan alat penghemat listrik sesuai perangkat lunak yang telah dibuat, (3) menghasilkan Aplikasi dan Interface Sistem penghemat listrik berbasis IoT untuk dan mengontrol penggunaan enegri listrik pada Kantor. Desain instalasi listrik yang digunakan adalah berlandaskan PUIL 2011, SPLN, dan LMK yang berlaku di Indonesia. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, ditemukan bahwa Alat penghemat listrik pada Kantor berbasis IoT telah berfungsi dengan baik, sehingga dapat mengurangi/menghemat penggunaan energi listrik yang terdapat di dalam suatu kantor, serta dapat dikontrol baik dari jarak dekat, maupun dari jarak jauh dengan menggunakan media Smartphone.

Abstract

This study aims to design, implement, and evaluate a real-time electrical energy consumption monitoring system in the Haji Rani Building using the Arduino Uno microcontroller and the Blynk platform. The system integrates the PZEM-004T sensor for measuring voltage, current, power, and electrical energy, while the Wemos D1 Mini facilitates wireless data transmission via a Wi-Fi network. The research follows a Research and Development (R&D) methodology with a prototype development model. Data collection techniques include observation, documentation, and direct testing. The test results indicate that the developed system has a good level of accuracy, with an average deviation of 4.21% compared to standard measuring instruments. Despite minor deviations, the system successfully provides real-time monitoring with a fast response through the Blynk application, enabling remote access. Functionality evaluation using the Guttman scale, conducted by two content experts, confirms that the system meets the expected standards in terms of reliability, accuracy, and usability. However, the system's reliance on a stable Wi-Fi connection may affect monitoring reliability in areas with poor network coverage. Additionally, the accuracy of the PZEM-004T sensor, while acceptable for general monitoring, could be improved with more precise sensors. Future research should focus on integrating more accurate sensors, implementing machine learning algorithms for energy consumption analysis, and developing an automated IoT-based energy management system. By addressing these aspects, the proposed system can be further enhanced to improve energy efficiency and sustainability.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the practicality and effectiveness of android-based sign language recognition learning media applications as an alternative to learning media in extraordinary schools (SLB). This type of research is Research and Development (R&D) with the Concurrent Triangulation design combination method.The subjects of the study were 20 sign language teachers from three SLB schools in the cities of Makassar and Gowa as well as application users who assessed the practicality and effectiveness of the learning media applications that they would teach to deaf students. The data collection technique consists of observation, interviews, literature studies and the distribution of questionnaires/questionnaires. Meanwhile, the instruments used include observation sheets, interview sheets and questionnaire/questionnaire sheets. There are 10 criteria data components to assess the practicality of learning media applications and 15 criteria data components to assess the effectiveness of learning media applications. The results showed that the level of practicality of learning media was 3.65 while the effectiveness level of learning media was 3.41. By using the Likert scale, it can be concluded that android-based sign language recognition learning media applications are very practical and very effective for teachers to use as an alternative to sign language recognition learning media in SLB.

Abstract

Transient overvoltage is a phenomenon in the power system that can be caused by lightning or switching surges. These overvoltages have large amplitudes and short durations, potentially damaging equipment, especially the Circuit Breaker, leading to failure in power distribution. As such, analyzing transient overvoltage is critical for understanding its impact and for designing systems that can withstand such surges. This study investigates transient overvoltages at PT PLN (Persero) 150 kV Makale Tana Toraja Substation, calculating the highest possible transient overvoltage that could affect Circuit Breakers. The research employs a quantitative descriptive approach with an Ex-Post Facto design, using the lattice diagram method to analyze the transient overvoltage behavior. Findings reveal that the highest recorded transient overvoltage was 227.231 kV, with values decreasing as the distance from the lightning strike increases. Furthermore, calculations suggest that in the case of properly functioning arresters, transient overvoltage values at Circuit Breakers 1 and 2 are 512.33 kV and 542.514 kV, respectively. However, if the arresters are damaged, these values increase significantly to 1031.94 kV and 1028.814 kV. This study emphasizes the importance of maintaining functional lightning arresters to ensure protection system efficacy. By optimizing the design and operational parameters of protection equipment, this research contributes to strengthening the resilience of substations, ensuring the safety and reliability of critical infrastructure in areas prone to lightning strikes.

Abstract

Low energy absorption efficiency in static solar panels remains a key challenge for renewable energy implementation in Indonesia. This study aims to develop and evaluate an automatic solar panel drive system based on Arduino Uno, integrating an RTC module and INA219 sensor to optimize panel orientation according to real-time sun position. The methodology involved designing a prototype system consisting of a 10 Wp solar panel, SG90 servo motor, RTC DS3231 module, and INA219 sensor, tested outdoors under light intensity ranging from 800 to 1000 lux. Experimental results showed that the automatic system increased average voltage output to 13.9 V and enhanced energy capture by 6-12% compared to static panels under clear sky conditions. Usability assessments using the System Usability Scale indicated that the system was rated as highly effective and practical at the prototype stage. The novelty of this research lies in the integration of RTC-based time scheduling with servo motor control, offering a stable, low-cost alternative to LDR-based systems for photovoltaic optimization in tropical environments. The developed system has potential for broader implementation to improve solar panel efficiency, though further studies are recommended to validate performance over longer durations and diverse weather conditions
